I cook my broth down so it’s a braised dish instead of stew. I also adapted some of the ingredients to what’s available or to our taste.

Vietnamese Dinner

Came for a Vietnamese style meal. The spam with soy beans are okay. Fried rice and chow mien are the main dishes because it taste good. Pho with pork chop is always my go-to for Vietnamese cuisine. Along with vegetable spring rolls and mango salad. The steaks are sweet and crunchy. Overall, was a great experience. From “Pho 60”

P.S: for those in the UK, if you happen to go to this place, DON'T. The owners of this restaurant have attempted to trademark "pho" (the correct word is "phở" by the way) which is a traditional and national Vietnamese dish.

Their attempt would have damaged authentic Vietnamese restaurants and small businesses with the word Pho in their restaurant's name while they are not even Vietnamese.

The backlash on Tiktok has prompted an apology as seen above but is it really an apology if they don't even bother to acknowledge their actions?

Anyway, please go and support actual restaurants ownes by Vietnamese

Wednesday, October 2, 2024 yumyums at a new vietnamese place I hadnt been to before, Anchi a la carte. I had vietnamese egg rolls, tofu vietnamese egg noodles with no veggies, and pork dumplings (fried). Expensive, and the quality is ok, but the ambience was very nice so I'll probably return one day, especially to try their garlic cheese bun.
