This made me think.

I've always been a hopeless romantic, ever since I was little. But I think I've just wanted my relationship to be like a friendship, but with a title yk? Nothing would change besides an official label. I'm not really interested in anything romantic. I just want to hold hands with someone while sharing airpods and listening to a playlist we made together, or lean on someone on a rainy day and play mario kart while sharing a blanket. I'm still figuring out my identity as an aroace person. But this post really connected with me. I looked at it and was like "That's me! That's how I feel!"

It never ceases to amaze me how brilliant fan fiction writers are, like, you take bits of something and can turn it into such brilliance and create crazy good plot lines with so much depth and layers and come up with all these ideas, like, literally blows my mind every time. The level of creativity is stunning

Can we talk about how the Vees always hang out in the same room???

We first see it when Vox goes to calm Val down:

It's the same table, TV, and couches that are in the extermination watch party scene, and they're also the same couches that Val and Vel are hanging out on in Stayed Gone:

This poster next to Vox when Val threw the glass is also visible in the background (on the left, behind Val) in the scene where Vel is watching the news on her phone:

After which Val immediately turns around and goes to sit on the couch to turn the TV on instead so he can see better. And when it switches to Vox's camera, there's a clear shot of the couches/table as well:

When their song in the finale starts, Vox passes these monitors, which are the same ones as in the first scene with Vox and Val (plus the little photo):

Then they're in front of the couch Vel and Vox were sitting on:

And then you can see the back of Val's couch when Velvette is filming the dancing.

And in her phone screen, you can see barstools in the background, which is probably where Velvette was sitting when she showed Val the news on her phone?

Also she was filming for 10 minutes,

And then remember that uh... weapons closet that Val gets guns out of? You can see it in the background when Val and Vox are singing (just to the right of Vox).

All of this is just to say the Vees 100% always hang out in this space, and it's adorable. It's their hangout space. I was always thinking it's a lobby/living room of some kind, but I've seen people refer to it as Val's room, and you know what? It's amazing either way because either Velvette and Vox both adore Val enough to have all his posters covering their common area wall, OR they have designated Val's room as their hangout spot, and he's just chill with it 😭

Bonus: look at how Velvette looks at her boys when they go off dancing:

These three are top tier polycule material and you cannot convince me otherwise.

the more i think about the vees the more i love their whole concept, especially after learning about the rift between them and the older overlords. three comparatively young/arrogant upstarts who each think they're the backbone of their little team constantly working and flying by the seat of their pants and scrambling to stay relevant while keeping each other in check because if any one of the trio crumbles the rest will topple down with them. a precarious balancing act

Ahhh this is my first time ever making a comic of any kind so I hope it looks ok! Hands are so hard to draw and it’s unreasonably hard to arrange the words in a pleasing way, but I still like it anyway!

I had this idea that all the Vees are so afraid of vulnerability they probably don’t really talk about their feelings with each other outright, and that turned into what if Vox just goes into his own head and makes copies of himself to talk to about his problems?

I figured he’d probably be terrible at comforting himself though and would just make himself feel 1000% worse lol

juto and hifumi went to nab their seats while rosho jyushi and jiro chose the snacks!!!! jyushi and jiro started to get into an argument over which is the best popcorn flavour, jiro’s on team caramel and jyushi’s on team butter lmao

when the movie got started, they let gentaro on stage to give a message as the author of the book and when he took stage, jiro and hifumi immediately began loudly cheering for him lmao 🥹🥹🥹 rosho loudly told him they were being too loud so they needed to shut up, juto told him that he was being too loud too so he should shut up and jyushi tearfully said that everyone was too loud pls be quiet LOL

actually lmao, the real reason gentaro invited them to this movie was to rope them into advertising it using their popularity as drb contestants LOL. gentaro told them tho, jiro would be able to reach the younger generation, hifumi is popular and that’s his strength, jyushi can reach a lot of people with his music, rosho has the ability to guide the youth and juto (gentaro giggles here) can arrest people LOL

I like the idea of alloro demisexual vox, mostly cause val and alastor are both people vox has known for AGES (longer than you or I have been alive) and well he made sexual comments in relation to alastor in episode 8 and makes out with and sleeps with val but was literally the only vee completely uninterested in lucifer's "NOW I am going to FUCK you" to adam (in the case of aroace velvette idk maybe velvette is aegosexual, I don't usually hold onto it though cause I don't have a solid velvette sexuality hc)

incredibly funny to me he just lost all interest after alastor fled, was screaming about how hard he was and how watching alastor get the shit beaten out of him was better than sex but the prospect of lucifer and adam going at it in bed? uninterested.

alloromantic is just cause the idea of vox love at first sight-ing alastor is funny to me (but I'm fine with that not being the case) and it's like the inverse of demiro allosexual val. I mean I'd just as easily buy him being double demi but idk, vox being alloromantic is just funny to me especially in the context of having interest in arospec people (alastor (canon) and val (hc))
