Alright it's aro week and I saw a couple Valentine's day posts about people's favorite rare pairs so welcome to my favorite PLATONIC rare pairs and my barely thought out explanations on why I'm obsessed with them

Vaggie and Husk: I actually have a post about them somewhere deep in my blog and I stand by it like I love them and need them to be besties

Alastor and Cherri: I feel like their chaotic energy would bounce off each other in the worst possible ways. I think they'd go out together and vandalize the vees warehouses and billboards and shit. They would also be super mean to each other like they would be SO bitchy, which is hard for Alastor cause he's supposed to be a gentleman but Cherri insults him so much that he gives in almost immediately. Also they would HATE each other's music it would be so funny.

Rosie and Vox: I know they have history I just know it. They had to have at least known each other because of Alastor and I bet they became great friends because of it. But then Vox and Alastor having their falling out!!! And Rosie trying to keep in touch but Vox was just never the same after what he went through with Alastor!!!! And they started to drift apart!!! And so Vox accuses her of siding with Alastor!!! And so now Vox is bitter and Rosie is just sad and misses the way things used to be!!!!! Ugh guys I can't with them they're my roman empire istg

Vaggie, Clara, and Odette: I just want them to be sisters. Carmilla just shows up one day with Vaggie and Clara and Odette just have to deal with a new sister. They all get along great and Vaggie gets some friends that aren't also friends with Charlie. I mean I love chaggie with all my heart but Vaggie needs a life outside of being Charlie's girlfriend.

Molly and Lute: It's just something about Molly growing up in a Mafia family surrounded by violence and Lute being born and bred for violence (at least with the headcanon that the exorcists are heaven born) and Molly managing to free herself from it but Lute never getting that chance. Molly can understand Lute in a way a lot of other people in heaven can't and maybe she can even help her. Plus the whole drama of Lute killing sinners which could include Molly's entire family and Lute knowing that Molly would be upset with that so it's the fear of hurting Molly raging a war against what Lute was taught her entire life to believe. It's a good thing Molly doesn't know about the exterminations 👀

Lilith and Adam: They're the kind of friends that are judging each other 24/7 and honestly just kind of mean. You wonder why they're friends and then you see someone insult one of them and the other freaking the fuck out. They spend all of their free time together gossiping about things that are none of their business and going into way too much detail about their sex lives. Adam makes fun of Lucifer and Lilith makes fun of Adam for not bagging Lucifer. Whether or not Adam actually wants to fuck Lucifer is unknown but Lilith will make fun of him for it until the day she dies.

Velvette and Angel: The thing about these two is that they could never work out. They'll never actually become friends because of their situation. Velvette will always look down on Angel and Angel will always be bitter about Velvette's life but I can imagine this weird kind of acquaintance relationship that could've been friendship if they were in another world. I'm sure Velvette has had to dress Angel before, she'd have to design him clothes and size them so they'd be spending time together. I bet it started with silence but both of them will get sick of it eventually and have some sort of conversation. They warm up to each other, at least when it's just them. Velvette and Angel will make eye contact and roll their eyes at Valentino and Vox's various antics and they realize they don't hate each other like they thought they would. They'll never hang out outside of work, they'll never be real friends, but hey at least one of the vees doesn't want to see Angel dead or seriously injured and strangely that's enough for them.

Well this is all I can think of for now. If you want more thoughts on any of these pairings just ask because I will gladly yell about them.

I need you all to know that in my mind Emily and Molly are girlfriends and they go on cute little picnic dates and they sing together all the time and Molly is the only winner in heaven to know about the exterminations because Emily was so upset and she couldn't hide something that big from the person she loves the most and also as soon as Emily saw Angel she knew who he was and now she'll do anything to reunite Molly with her long lost twin
