Could I request Noe and Vanitas with an s/o who will ditch their hugs so they can cuddle cute things like plushies, children, and cats? S/o means no harm, though. If they see something cute, they'll only focus on that one thing

He can't really argue with them.

Noe has a weakness for cute things as well. Look at who he is courting?

Honestly, they probably would both be enamored with the cuteness (especially cats). So it's not a big hurdle for them.

Buys them all the plushies they gush over if his wallet, and floor space where they are staying, can afford it.

Vanitas

He is…less supportive of their distraction.

We all know that Vanitas has deep seeded abandonment issues. So, he feels like when they “take off” that they are abandoning him.

They always come back but he feels like his attention & company is second.

He also had problems communicating, so he doesn’t express those feelings. Instead he just pouts and, on extreme occasions, scares the cats away.

Their clothes were fun and frustrating to colour with such a limited pallet. I think Aqua and Xehanort look really nice in purple, though

Yay for headcanons! Do you have any for how Noe and Vanitas would be in a poly relationship w reader? (can be any aspect, though i can narrow it down if that's too vague!)

In my humble opinion, this is the most accurate depiction of a relationship for Noé or Vanitas.

Noé is used to being ‘1 of 3’ from growing up so close & so intimate with Domi and Louis all his life, and Vanitas would never truly feel comfortable being in a 1-on-1 relationship. Vanitas would need that buffer, which he has decided is an intimate blocker, when in reality it is an intimacy gateway.

Their relationship would start out as friends. The collective trying to save vampire kind. Over time it would become more intimate between the danger and just close quarters.

Noé would likely make the first move for intimacy. Touched starved he needs physical attention to calm down and right himself after a particularly hard conflict.

[Y/N] would of course accept him openly and that is how it starts.

Vanitas is at first jealous of their change in relationship. Thinking he’s being pushed out, but [Y/N] lets him know that’s not the case.

Most of their relationship doesn’t change, only added to.

Noé and [Y/N] still act silly. [Y/N] showing him around Paris or some of the interesting things he might not have experienced being ‘locked away’ for so long.

Vanitas and [Y/N] can share their cynicism. Snarky comments and jokes about vampire hierarchy, as well as a deep hatred for the church.

One aspect that does change is when they are out on missions.

The boys are hopelessly in love with [Y/N] and will do anything to keep them safe. Mostly to their detriment.

This becomes an issue during fights and [Y/N] has to remind them that they are perfectly capable, and don’t need rescuing in most cases. They hear them but do not listen very well.

At night, Noé and [Y/N] always share a bed.

He’s desperate for touch still and wraps around them like an octopus during the night.

Vanitas doesn’t always join, still a big fan of his own space.

When he does join though he either sneaks into their bed in the middle of the night or just pushes them over to the other side before bed and lays himself down, both without a word.  

Noé & [Y/N] are more sexually intimate. Vanitas participates but infrequently. He will never admit it but he prefers when it’s all 3 of them vs just him & [Y/N].

- has some very deeply annotated books but the notes are cryptic one-word prompts that mean nothing to anyone else that he also cannot articulate to explain

- makes stupid noises at Murr to ‘talk’ to him

- useless at communication

- if he has several different medical issues and goes to a doctor on his own he will only address one issue and get much sicker and just not care because he doesn't understand how doctors work

- accompanied to everything by Dominique or Vanitas

- has probably tried cocaine and it just 'made his brain quiet' and he was perfectly normal

- instead of making eye contact and standing still he wanders around picking up and playing with random objects while talking

- sometimes the objects distract him from conversation but most of the time he is fully capable of conversing in this manner, fuck everyone who calls it unconventional

- has a favourite rug to lie on while he reads

- when he's in sensory overload he seeks out touch, head pats calm him down

I had some help from a few friends brainstorming this sketch idea and we came up with this. I drew a few thumbnail variations of the ideas and one of the favs was outfit 2 (which is my personal fav along with outfit 3 and 5 hehe). Overall I had a lot of fun drawing these out and it felt great to finally draw Vanitas again.

let's imagine you're baking some tarte tatin for noé. i honestly see vanitas as more of a cook, so he may accompany you in your little baking journey

assuming you know how to bake, you're probably the one who's making it for him, and vanitas might just be watching you and maybe helping a tiny bit if you pester him enough, or maybe if he just wants to.

since i don't see noé as much of someone who can be entrusted cooking, or even baking, he'd just watch you and vanitas make the tarte tatin for him, and maybe do some simple tasks that he can be entrusted with

i've actually been in the vnc fandom for a while lmao (since 2022) i just left the vnc fandom for the bsd one but now im slowly dipping my toes back into vnc & interacting with its community again. this might be a little ooc, so please correct me if i've gotten something wrong about the characters. i haven't read the manga in a while. thank you!
