Vampire Cass!

Stupid Fruitloop and his stupid schemes! Right on Danny's class trip to Wayne Enterprises in Gotham, Vlad tested his Plasmius Maximus 2.0. Effectively taking away all of his Ghost powers for the whole day. In Gotham! He looks enough like a Wayne kid! He swears he already feels watched from the shadows.

Cass was restless. There was something in Gotham that was driving her instincts crazy. She already had her special smoothie from Alfred to curve her cravings, but there was something in town she needed to sink her teeth into. She needs to find it.

He's lost. Of course he's lost. just his luck he gets separated from his class and lost. Stupid Dash pushed him right into a dark alley! This is Gotham! He was literally almost mugged! Sam and Tucker weren't gonna answering his texts. Mr.Lancer had taken their phones because of Tuckers tech addiction being a distraction. "Not paying attention in Gotham could lead to disaster." How about being in trouble and needing to call for help? Great! now he's lost in an alley and... Someone was right behind him weren't they?

Cass was on the boy in an instant. He had good fighting instincts, but not good enough. She ducked under the punch he threw and grabbed his wrist. He used the other arm to block, she grabbed that wrist to and pinned both arms over his head and held them there with one arm. He then rammed his knee into her gut, but wasn't nearly strong enough to stop her. She grabbed the leg by the outer thigh and lifted it up moving closer into the boy. Putting her leg in-between his and leaning forward into his neck to drink.

Danny had no idea what was going on! He was standing on one leg, pinned against a wall, arms held above his head, and a woman was biting his neck. A sharp sting on his neck made him whine. He couldn't think straight and was starting to feel dizzy. The woman on him let out a sensual moan and he felt himself drift into unconsciousness. "whelp, second times the charm" Danny thought as he drifted away.

This boy tasted so good! He was like nothing she had ever tasted before! There was something foreign and exotic in his blood. When she had bitten him he gave out this little whine that was SO attractive, She had involuntarily moaned into him. She was enjoying every moment of this. The way he felt, tasted, smelled, the way he... He was unconscious! OH No! Too much! She needed to pull out now!

Danny woke up in his hotel room for the school trip. He still had his clothes on- Nope never mind! This was not his shirt! His favorite white shirt with the red oval was gone and now he was wearing a black shirt with one of the bat symbols on it. And his neck hurt!

"Cass where did you get that shirt?" Tim was sneaking into the kitchen, trying to get another cup of coffee. Where he found his sister in a obviously well-worn white and red shirt that he had never seen before. It clearly wasn't Cass's, though he knew she was a clothes thieve. She only gave him a smug look and said "mine".

Danny has no idea what happened in Gotham or how he got this mark on his neck. But he knows Vlad won't stop staring at it and won't come within 10 feet of him. He literally used it to case Vlad out of his house and down the street. It was hilarious! Maybe he should go back to Gotham and try to find out what happened.

Dick didnt raise his hand. He was to ashamed. Surprisingly it was Cass who raised her hand. She was a vampire the whole time and none of them knew... Ok Alfred knew, and she says she's the king of vampires. She has a crown... and authority. He can feel it now.

Perhaps he was presumptuous with his new powers. maybe he had a bit of a power high and got alittle arrogant. he's only been a vampire for a week.

What if, like love evil Dick in DC Vampires, more power to him, but like, imagine for a second...

Bruce, after finding out one of his kids is the self-proclaimed Vampire King, just holds up his hand, gathers up said kids into a room and just-

"I am not mad-" Several exchange looks that are half alarmed and half guilty, seeing as they're unsure why they've been gathered up at this moment. "-nor am I disappointed."

Bruce, fully channeling dad mode, "But what did we agree on for world domination plans?" (Somewhere a snooping hero chokes)

"Not to do it when you're on world so you don't have to at least attempt to stop us?"

"Exactly. Now, which one of you broke the rule and now has new medical information you didn't inform Alfred of...?"

Gotta appreciate that the writers gave Cass this.

She's usually the least likely to have lines or speak which shows how terrible this was for her.

DC Vs. Vampires was so fun and cool and enjoyable until I got to issue six and it ruined my life and I'm honestly fighting the urge to just stop reading now because I don't see a point anymore because I'm SO SAD but anyways. Here's some Batfam highlights from issues 1-5 that we can all look at and pretend nothing bad ever happened to any of them ever <<3

I would find it so funny if Bruce Wayne, who has an ironic and slightly ridiculous disdain for the occult, had to grapple with his kids' deep belief in the occult. For instance, if one of their siblings went missing with no leads, Bruce would insist on a new search strategy while the kids would be convinced they should at least consult a medium once to get proof of life. The medium would call out Batman for his shitty energy and Bruce would contemplate all the life decisions that led to this.

I really love the fact that vamp!reader put always a facade till jason is even afraid of that. Is he the only one to see she's repressing her feeling since they were closer than others? And how much is she repressed ? Is this Bree van the Kamp level? Also is she endossing the parental role with the rest of the batfam?

jason, besides alfred, is definetly the one seeing that reader is repressing. she's insanely good at it, to the point even jason finds it scary — no, scary isn't quite the right word. jason finds it disturbing. it's something so completely opposite from himself, too, so... doll-like. artificial. fake.

vampire! reader does try to pull that shit with jason but he can see right through her — and yes, it’s because they were very close as children —, which means he's the only one she can have genuine interactions with (again, besides alfred), which means he's the only one who can actually rile her up, which means they've definetly had a complicated relationship since he's been ressurected, with some conflicts that the rest of the batfam has no idea about.

(i do have an idea for a scene where jason and vampire! reader are arguing quite loudly in the kitchen, before she's turned. then damian walks in on them, vampire! reader notices him before jason does, and immediately switches up and pretends everything's fine and starts cooing at damian. jason is flabbergasted. damian has... questions, after than incident.)

she's definetly holding a lot of her true feelings in to some bree van de kamp level. to the point she'll begin to formulate a thought that perhaps she's being treated unfairly by her family or by her father and instantly rebuke it. there's always an excuse, a reason, despite the bitterness and sometimes (gasp!) anger than is simmering beneath, unbeknownst even to her. it's internalized it's covered up. definetly about maintaining perfect image and keeping up appearances, so she's always fine when someone asks. nothing is ever wrong.

(jason thinks she's a ticking time-bomb that's going to explode eventually. he's... not wrong.)

and i'd say she has a mother hen (parentification) thing going on, but the batfam won't really let her in enough for her to actually mother hen them. in the fic she's making an effort to become more independent and break away from that, but old habits die hard. not even jason is an exception to that.

and that is kind of bruce's fault. not kind of, actually, it is bruce's fault. she absolutely has unresolved trauma from when jason died and suddenly she was put into this role of feeling obligated to care for her grief-stricken, emotionally unavailable father, so bruce is the one who vampire! reader fusses over the most to this day, even after he gets better and brings all of the other batkids and parents them. and even as she takes over his meals so he doesn't have to risk setting the kitchen on fire or tending to his wounds when alfred's not around, he doesn't even know that's the dynamic they have going on.

Danny didnt know how this is his life

It all started when his parents, doctors Jack and Maddie Fenton supernatural scientists and monster hunters, got an anonymous tip about vampires being in Gotham. Worse the tip was about one of the worlds most dangerous vampires, Lady Shiva. So with a excuse of a "Family hunting trip" his sister and he were packed and in the GAV and heading for Gotham

What his parents didnt know was that since an accident in the lab with his friends and a black grimoire Danny had been practicing necromancy. Well a subclass of necromancy called Ghost magic. Which he was apparently extremely good at. He couldnt tell his parents they were extremely old fashioned. He could hear his father now "All magic users are witches and warlocks and need to be burned or put to the stake with extreme prejudice".

Danny knew you didn't get "anonymous tips" about vampires, espectialy this vampire. Sure enough, as soon as they entered Gotham, it's ghosts started to warn him that this was a trap. Figures Vlad would be up to some new trick. He could handle whatever the fruitloop had planed.

It happened the first night. They were sleeping in the GAV when *Crack* the GAV was hit and tipped on its side. Despite all his parent defenses (UV lights, Garlic gas, Holy water sprinkler system, and stake launchers) one vampire seemed to dance through it all. Before Danny knew it his family and him were held down and the last of the defenses were destroyed.

Danny looked up from where he was being held on the ground by... ninja vampires? He looked at his family. They had been knocked unconcious with a 'gentle' blow. Then a pair of boots stepped in front of him and he looked up. The real Lady Shiva stood in front of him.

"Daniel Fenton, prefers Danny, Goes by Phantom, 14 years old, male, a virgin, and a powerful spirit mage." She looks into his eyes " you are going to be a great gift for my Daughter"

We all know the idea of Danny getting adopted by one of the batfam. But hear me out: Danny gets adopted by Vampire Dick Grayson. 

Danny honestly, did not mean to dimension hop, nor did he mean to get this injured in the first place, where his vision is spinning and there’s greenRedGreenGreenGREEN spilling from his body like he’s melting from the inside. He didn’t mean to get caught, he just didn’t want Dan to happen again, not again and the GIW had seen him flying and- 

And now he’s here, wherever here is, smoke in his lungs making it even harder to breathe than it was before. And there’s a shadow approaching, a flicker of crimson in his blurry vision, and there’s claws tilting his head and then something burns- 

Dick? Call it nostalgia perhaps, seeing this small child, so much like his little wing and baby bird once were, white streak and corpse-pale skin and all. He just wished for his dear brothers to join him, that’s all he wanted, and perhaps Damian won’t be so bitey if he got a friend…

Danny Phantom x Detective Comics

DP x DC are allows fun to read and write. Here are some of my favorites.

• The Ghost Zone is a higher dimensional plan of existence. (A paperweight from the Ghost Zone is a world destroyer for Earth)

• Danny is next in line for the title of King of the Ghost Zone. (Danny is still half human, so isn't king, yet.)

• To keep himself safe from the GIW, Danny has decided to hind out in the most chaotic city in the world, Gotham. (He figures Batman will immediately note the government agents coming into his city.)

• For enrichment purposes, Danny has decided to stalk the Batfamily in his off time. (This has resulted in him creating videos of the Batfam's antics.)

• Thanks to a few favors, Neil Nightingale is able to open a coffee shop, which does so well that he's able to pay off all of his debts within the month. (Que his first "official" meeting with the Waynes. )

• Maybe a little of Vampire Cass woven in there for a little bit of spice in there. (I found it funny that Cass saw him as "tasty".)

• The family should be investigating the videos and be suspicious of Danny for different reasons. (A bit of duplication should keep them guessing.)

• Finally, Constantine should come to town to stop some nut job cultist from summoning the King of Ghost to their mortal plan. (Imagine all of their faces when the popular coffee shop owner is the Prince of Ghost.)
