Gotta appreciate that the writers gave Cass this.
She's usually the least likely to have lines or speak which shows how terrible this was for her.

Gotta love that what brought Bruce to his senses in his "ideal world" was the image of his real family.
To those who don't think Bruce considers Babs and Steph family, there they are. They might not be his kids, but they're still family.

I love how Damian’s reaction to something that looks like Jon not sure if it's Jon is to throw things at him.
From Super Sons
To when Jon came back after being aged up.
I wish Damian would just throw himself at Jon.

Vampire King Dick Grayson: I just wanted one of my brothers to join me. Is that so much to ask?
But also does this:
Maybe don't beat them to death first Dick.

That wonderful moment when you see an outfit much like you had when you were a child and wonder if it was really that bad?
And someone confirms it

Ok but in the alternate timeline that Booster made by saving Bruce's parents (Batman 46-47, The Gift), Bruce might be happy with his parents and Alfred but...
The boys.
Dick is Batman??? Like where did he even get the money for the training and all the gadgets?
More believable. He could have filed for a loan and all (or borrowed mobster money). But Jason brushing off the accidental kid deaths from the tazer? How far have you fallen?
This one is believable. Tim as an engineer makes sense since he's very smart and would have been valedictorian and gone to college if not for his Robin sideline. BUT I don't think he'd stick around the hell hole that Gotham is.
Poor Duke. Got Jokered.
The Justice League died bc they had no strategist. Selina is a serial killer who can only meow.
But
Damian never existed bc Bruce never went on his training montage and never met Talia.

I just love how Tim knows something's up because
Supportive dad!Bruce would never.
He'd be all judgy about your choices and warn you against romances with villains, but it's never about their physical attributes.

People commenting on Jason looking like Bruce and canon just does this
Left to right: Jason, Damian, Bruce, Duke, Dick.
Jason, Damian, and Bruce all have the same hair. And Damian was pestering Jason like a little brother and teasing him about going bald
Rich boy Bruce eating the burger with a fork and knife in the next page.

So... I know that The Boy Wonder isn't quite in-continuity but....
They have a child. Idk if it's biological or adopted or they're just looking after it, but they have a child that they're looking after and no it's not a Robin.

I'm not gonna try to math Dick's age when he started Nightwing anymore. Bc in the Teen Titans issue where he visits Jason's grave, he said he was Robin for almost 12 years. Given that he lost his parents at 9, he would have still been Robin at 20-21. But he moved out at 18 and "quit" at that time which led to Jason being Robin at 13 then died at 15.
Making Tim at most 3 years old when he saw Dick at the circus.

WHY aren't we talking more about Batman: Urban Legends and the whole Cheer arc with Bruce and Jason?
Long story short, cheer is a new drug in Gotham that makes people hallucinate about them being happy. Jason and Bruce work the case. There are flashbacks to Death in the Family when Jason dies. Jason's attitude gets him kidnapped and Bruce saves him only to get kidnapped in his place. They both get hit with the gas version of the drug and what do they see? FAMILY.
Jason was welcomed home by a Bruce who had hung up the cowl after Joker died. Having him be surrounded by the batfam.
He breaks out of the hallucination out of concern for Bruce. He came prepared and has the whole family come in as back up.
Bruce saw himself killing Joker for Jason, and having the rest of the Batfam (minus Duke for some reason) smiling and welcoming Jason home.
And ofc let's not forget the invitation to family dinner at the end of it.
Basically this story arc was a very Jason and Bruce family bonding thing that the two needed.
Plus Jason saying he wanted Robin batarangs and getting them.
And Jason not wanting to be Robin, but thinking about being called Batboy.

When your 5th dimension imp isn't imp shaped but speaks the truth.
Bart was replaced. I like Ace, but DC making Wally West black and then retconning it to make is seem like Ace was meant to be a new character altogether?
Tim was replaced, but he's still there. New alias and all. Hell even Jason called him the boring one in Task Force Z.
Conner (poor sweet boy) was replaced and forgotten.

I love how mangas have the whole: there's no body they can't be dead.
Meanwhile DC has: there's a body but it's a clone/ he'll recharge/ I'll bring him back/ something something breaking reality he's alive!

Of all the people to fill in for Nightwing, BRUCE???
Dude. You are tall and more filled out than him.
Jason would have done it, plus Jason can still do the flippy flips Bruce's old beaten down body can't.
Tim would have done it too. Not as flippy or fast but he can fill in for Dick.
Like everyone knows Batman would come running if Nightwing was in trouble, so if Bruce gets in trouble, would Jason come running in a Bat suit? Would Tim? I'm pretty sure people would recognize Jace as Batman coming in to rescue this old ass Nightwing imposter.
I'm sorry but 9 years and a shit ton of broken bones (like your SPINE) do take a toll.
