Could I request Yandere Kalim, with Soulmate Au? So Kalim and Reader would be soulmates, and Kalim is yandere for them. I don't mind what kind of soulmate Au, though, it could be timers, names, shared injures.
Although please feel free to reject if you don't want to write this.
I'm going with names since I like that the most.  It became longer than I intended. Around 2,6k words.
PS: Have your individuality in your relationships.
Italics indicate thoughts
☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Kalim Al-Asim
Warning: Yandere behaviour, guilt-tripping, gaslighting (passive), unhealthy relationship
It all started when he saw the tattoo on their forearm. "That's me!" He yelled suddenly, staggering back. He then rolled up his sleeve, "Is this your name?" He asked with such excitement that made (Y/N) think he would cry if they said no.
Nevertheless, it was their name. "Yes."
They didn't think they would meet their soulmate in NRC. After the day they met, (Y/N) asked around what type of person Kalim was. Everyone mentioned how different he was from the rest of school, how supportive he was, how he was there for them when needed, the way he radiates positivity everywhere he went and always having a smile on his face. (Y/N) wasn't going to lie. At first, they thought Kalim was faking it since they had seen similar people turning out to be evil in shows and movies they watched and the books they read. However, their opinion of him turned positive after hanging out together and getting to know each other. He was one of the best people they had ever met, had the brightest smile they had ever seen. No one would be able to resist him once he smiled and looked with those bright eyes. (Y/N) was one of them. Kalim had fun ideas but they had responsibilities to take care of, they couldn't spend their entire time with Kalim. But how could they reject Kalim's idea when he looked so heartbroken after saying they were busy? They couldn't. They got into trouble with the academy for not doing or doing sloppy homework and their friends for not spending time together.
Kalim might be their soulmate but that didn't mean they couldn't spend time apart. (Y/N) promised themselves that they would say no to Kalim the next time he asked to hang out together. They were soulmates who would marry one day. If they didn't set the boundaries now, they wouldn't be able to do it in the future. And they certainly didn't want their future life to turn up like that.
Unsurprisingly, Kalim showed up. "(Y/N)!" He kissed their cheek which was another thing they needed to talk about. "How've you been doing? Let's go carpet ride!" He didn't even wait for their response as he grabbed their sleeve and started pulling.
But no more. They were going to take a stand. "Kalim, stop." He didn't seem to hear them and kept pulling but (Y/N) planted themselves like a tree, unmoving. "Kalim, stop." He didn't even look at them. "Kalim!" That got his attention. "We need to talk. Now."
"We can talk on the carpet! C'mon!" He was ever excited but his smile faltered when they didn't cave in. "Are you upset with me?" He asked, giving them puppy dog eyes.
(Y/N) was glad that he at least understood they were upset. "Yes." his smile turned upside down, it was horrible to see him sad. "No!" He smiled once again. "I mean... ugh! I just..."
"I'm glad you aren't upset with me. Let's go!"
He must have understood that they were conflicted then why was he trying to dismiss it? It was frustrating him. "No! Fuck! I'm so done! I'm trying to have a conversation with you and you just ignore it! Do I not mean anything to you? Do -"
"You mean everything to me!"
"You did it again! You don't even let me finish!" (Y/N) couldn't stop anymore. It was now or never. "You don't care what I want as long as you get to do whatever you want! I hate it! You are suffocating me!" They pinched the bridge of their nose. "Just because we are soulmates doesn't mean we will be together 24/7. Give me a fucking break!" It felt good to spill everything out but they didn't realize the volume of their voice increase nor the people around staring at them. Damn it! Don't people have better things to do? "Can we talk somewhere private and just... uhm... fix the issue?"
Kalim looked like he was about to cry and he might have shed a tear or two, given that he seemed to wipe his eyes. Thankfully, he agreed and they went to his room for privacy. (Y/N) thought they messed up once and wanted to have a calmer discussion with him. They weren't able to sit, nervous about how he would react once he heard everything they wanted to say since just a small outburst made him teary eyes. "I shou-"
"I'm sor-"
They both spoke at the same time. "I need to tell th-"
"I'm sorry for making you feel as if I don't care for you." Kalim walked over (Y/N) and hugged them. "I promise to be a better boyfriend to you!" He kissed their cheek before letting them go. "Let's play- I mean... Do you want to play Mancala? Jamil would bring us snacks and it would be fun!" He acted as if he wasn't on the verge of crying a second ago and dismissed the issue once more but at least he apologized, that was progress.
Still...
"Kalim," They took his hands and led him to sit on his bed. "Thank you for apologizing but we didn't resolve anything. You dismissed what I feel again." They liked him, he was a good man but he just needed to listen to them. They believed he could change. "I love spending time with you but I have a personal life too. I couldn't do my homework properly for the last couple of weeks and I couldn't hang out with my friends. I need time for them too. And sometimes, I am too tired or I'm not interested in what you want to do. It is hard to say no to you when you look at me with those eyes. Please understand my wish to set personal boundaries." They didn't want to bring up guilt-tripping yet since they thought he would get better after this speech.
Kalim seemed to listen to what they said attentively. They hoped he wouldn't make a fuss about it. They felt better when he nodded. "I see." He pulled them into a hug. "I promise I'll be better for you, (Y/N)."
"Glad that we resolved it. Again, I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier." They hugged him back. "I now have to go and do my homework. See you later!" They untangled themselves from Kalim and headed out to their room.
The next day, Kalim showed up to ask them about another adventure he planned. He managed to convince them to join when he said he would be all alone if they didn't come with him. "I know I am sometimes clumsy, I hope I won't lose my balance and fall. Jamil would be with me normally but he has basketball practice for hours."
(Y/N) didn't want to go hiking with Kalim but if he hurt himself, they would be responsible in a way. They certainly didn't want Kalim to be hurt nor to be guilty of him getting hurt so he agreed to go with him. The following day Kalim came up with a new adventure. "I'd get lost in the woods without you. Jamil and I are both grew up in a desert country. He wouldn't be able to find us a way to return even if he tries. Please come with me to explore the woods so I can return safely with you." (Y/N) agreed to this too, not wanting to cause their soulmate to be lost in the woods.
On the adjacent days, Kalim came up with an idea and told them if they could come with him so that he wouldn't be harmed. They didn't want to feel any guilt if he were to injured so they joined all of them. On the last day, they said no.
Kalim gave them space after that day. (Y/N) thought he learned his lesson. Everything was fine in their life. They were even planning to ask Kalim on a date since they didn't talk for days.
"I've heard that (Y/N) tried to carve out their tattoo because they couldn't stand Kalim."
"I heard they tried to change the tattoo so they would have a different soulmate than Kalim."
"Is that even possible?"
"I don't know but I know that they tried. Haven’t you seen how (Y/N) made Kalim cry two weeks ago? They must despise him."
“How could a person despise Kalim? He is friends with everyone and there is no one who would say a bad thing about him.”
The fuck? (Y/N) was sure that they heard his and Kalim's name in their conversation. They certainly didn't do anything like that. As they passed the group, they received glares from everyone in the group. They wanted to tell Kalim what they heard and how idiotic it was but they couldn't reach him either by phone or by going over to Scarabia. Since they didn't get a chance to talk to Kalim, they went back to their room.
They managed to find Kalim the next day and talk briefly about what they heard. "I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding, (Y/N). I know you wouldn't do something like that." He smiled, making them feel better. They hanged out casually for the next few days then Kalim spontaneously invited them to a carpet ride.
"I'm sorry, I promised my friends that we would binge-watch this new tv show that came out."
"It's okay." They were glad to hear Kalim's positive response. He really is working himself to be a better boyfriend.
The next morning at breakfast, their mood turned sour.
"Did you know that the reason (Y/N) pushes Kalim away is that they are having an affair with someone?"
"No one would cheat on their soulmate once they learn they are soulmates. That's just nasty."
(Y/N) left without eating breakfast so they wouldn't hear any of those stupid people. They needed fresh air to distract themselves from what they heard but it only made things worse.
"My friend told me. He saw (Y/N) flirt with a guy from Scarabia right after they sent Kalim away." A guy from Heartslabyul said a student from Octavinelle and Pomefiore.
"I bet that's the person they are cheating with and they must be using Kalim's money to do whatever they want." added the Pomefiore student.
"So (Y/N) is acting the perfect soulmate for Kalim for his money and use his money to fuck around with another guy. I thought soulmates wouldn't be able to be with someone else other than each other." Heartslabyul student said
"You can break the bond but you need to do an unspeakable thing first." Octavinelle one told the group.
"Where did you hear that?"
"Doesn't matter. This means (Y/N) did something unspeakable. I feel sorry for Scarabia prefect."
(Y/N) didn't want to hear their talk anymore as they rushed to Kalim's side. Unfortunately, he was sick and didn't have the energy to talk to them as Jamil informed them.
The next day the rumors got worse. "Kalim is terminally sick because (Y/N) tried to break their bond." "They are trying to kill him." So forth.
The rumors around (Y/N) grew larger and larger. At first, their friends defended them whereas Kalim was nowhere to be seen. But their friends abandoned them too. "We believe, you didn't do anything but the others don't and they don't talk to or look at us since we are friends with you. Forgive us but we don't want to spend our student lives as ostracized."
They were all alone. No one spoke to them. They just talked about them but never to them. They couldn't take it anymore.
(Y/N) didn't have any other choice. They had only one place to go. They thought all of these rumors would die if people saw they were with Kalim and if he said there was no problem between them. So they went to Kalim. They didn't say they came to him because of rumors but they thought he knew it deep down. He didn't care what people were saying about them as he hugged them tightly. "You should move to Scarabia. Even my room!" He said, eyed closed with a huge smile on his face. "No one would say anything about you then." They were soulmates and have been dating for months so staying in the same room wasn't outrageous for them. They accepted his proposal. He immediately asked Jamil to help them with their stuff. After placing their basic stuff in Kalim's room, he asked if they wanted to walk to clear their head which (Y/N) accepted dearly.
"At least, people won't talk about how you beat me and gave me bruises anymore!" Kalim said with a cheery attitude.
Huh? Nobody was talking about that in the school.
"Or how you sneaked into treasury room to get yourself some diamonds!" He added another rumor that didn't exist.
There was something in the way he said those that were giving goosebumps to them. (Y/N)'s mind was trying to understand why they felt on edge suddenly. It was better to confront the issue now. "Uhm... those weren't among the rumors. Whe-"
"Oh, they weren't?" Kalim looked surprised. "I thought I vented about it. Hmmm... never mind then! Let's go and ride flying carpet."
Did he say 'vented?'
"Sorry, Kalim. You said vented. What do you mean by it?" (Y/N)'s instinct was telling them to run from great danger but Scarabia was a safe place. It must be their mind playing tricks on them.
"Since we weren't together, I was feeling upset. My friends just asked me why I was upset and I told them everything. It's good to be friends with the majority of the school since I had so many friends who listened to what I said. They are such good people, listening to my worries attentively and comforting me." He stopped in front of them, looked them right in the eyes. "They say talking fixes every problem. And look! Talking made you come back to me."
Talking solves everything but it wasn't him talking that made me succumb to his wish. It was those nasty rumors. Surely he knows... Oh. Oh! That is just ridiculous, he wouldn't do something like that to me. He loves me too much for it. Still... (Y/N) wanted to believe that what they were thinking was just their mind was making that up. "Kalim, you know that the rumors caused me great problems."
He cut them off again. "Don't worry. I won't talk about your thievery and the bruises you gave me. Since you are back in my arms, there is no need for me to talk about you to my friends anymore."
"I didn't steal anything or even hurt an inch of you. Why would you talk about something that doesn't exist?"
"Those rumors won't exist as long as you are with me. Since you will never ever leave me again, you won't need to work your mind about it." Kalim told them with a bright smile on his face. "Now let me show you a whole new world!" He grabbed their hand and tugged their sleeve. "Unless you want to leave me by myself. It would be a shame if your reputation plummets down more."
(Y/N) was too shocked to answer so they just nodded.
"Great! Let's go!" Their mind was numb as Kalim dragged them after him.
Kalim looked like the sweetest person one could ever meet. They didn't think he would ever do something so nasty.
Is this the man whom I'll spend the rest of the days with? What did I do to deserve such fate?

All roads lead to Hell
MC gets kidnapped and has to make their way through Hell to reunite with everyone.
GN!reader x everyone (can be treated as platonic/romantic)
Trigger warnings for this chapter: none
I apologise for the quality of writing however this is a translated version of my fic.
If anyone is interested in that I was listening to Casey tells the truth, the whole Split soundtrack is my big inspiration for this story. I’d advise onto playing it in the background while reading.
Chapter 1 - Prolouge  ⇒
A few candles lit up the room. The gentle light was adding to its already mysterious aura. Solomon’s dorm was filled with all kind of grimoires and spellbooks. The floor was covered with tons of torn-out pages and patterns drawn on a yellowish paper.
Trying out one spell after another MC seemed to grow more and more annoyed. The upcoming exam was one of the most important ones and Solomon’s constant teasing wasn’t the most helpful.
"Focus or you won’t get anything done, MC." The sorcerer stated while leaning against a wall. He wasn’t even trying to hide the amusement in his voice.
"I am focused" They mumbled irritated. It was their ninth try of casting this, so-called easy, spell. A marble laying on the table seemed to look at them pitifully. It was a one bastard piece of glass. Even more irritated MC moved their hand above it once again.
"Neque ultra intuebitur eum" they mumbled. The space around them seemed to start drawing energy towards their hand. A quiet electric buzz filled their ears and they could feel their cheeks heat up. But just as they were about to direct the energy towards the toy it would suddenly unload. The marble remained untouched, and MC could bet that if it was possible it’d poke its tongue at them. Or maybe even raise a very specific finger up. "Neque ultra intuebitur eum!"
Nothing.
"No! It’s impossible! It’s impossible and that’s it! You gave me a broken marble." They grunted and dramatically sat on a chair pouting.
Solomon snickered at them and approached the table. He muttered the words of the spell and the marble was gone immediately.
"Cheater. I bet it was enchanted or something."
"Maybe." He smirked. "Try again."
MC groaned under their breath but stood up again. The sorcerer walked up to them and placed his hand on their arm giving them a reassuring look. "That’s gonna be seriously lame if you fail again tho.”
They replied with a huff and tried to refocus. Closing their eyes, MC began collecting energy again. It was a weird feeling. Suddenly they’d notice that the whole room was in fact like a river full of it. Their task was to change its current toward themself. This spell didn’t require a lot of effort, only a bit of thought. Stronger spells could even sweep someone off with an uncontrolled current.
They’d never admit it but sorcerer’s touch was rather helpful. It made them feel grounded. Goosebumps rose on their hand. They cast the spell again.
"Lame." He chuckled.
"Huh?!” Their eyes shot open searching for the marble but the table was empty. They laughed and playfully punched his chest, making him laugh. "Asshole.”
Content, MC threw themself on the bed as a mark of their victory, Solomon was quick to follow.
"You realize that this was shit compared to regular magic?” watching them struggle was incredibly amusing to him, apparently.
"Like I don’t know" They frowned. He smiled in response and laid back next to them.
The silence of the room, moving flames of the candles and its overall aura was really comforting.
"You should be able to pass the exam tho" he mentioned.
"It’s a lot, you know? Everything." MC wondered.
"I know."
"I just can’t wrap my mind around it.” They began playing with their hair.
"You could do much more without a hassle.” He stated like it was something obvious and leaned on his elbows while looking at them with a smirk.
"Wow, thanks for being an asshole.” They muttered, the hair they were playing with fell on their face.
"A supportive asshole.”
"I’m not sure if I could do more.” They spoke trying to blow the curl off. Hesitation making its way in their voice. "It’s still too new and…”
”Overwhelming?”
"Yeah… Convincing someone that hell is real is one thing but throwing them inside is something else.” They followed gentle shadows of the flames on the ceiling with their eyes.
"Why? You’d prefer a flaming river and little red devils instead of your seven demon boyfriends?”
Both of them laughed at the image of the brothers' with spiked tails and tridents.
"No, I don’t think I would.”
Tumblr media
Empty walls of RAD were enhancing every sound, making every single word echo for a few seconds before disappearing.
"MC, ya comin’ or what?" Mammon was standing at the end of the hallway talking with Beel.
"Just a second!" they screamed while taking stuff out of their locker and putting it in a bag. They were planning on returning to the House of Lamentation as soon as the school day was over to prepare for an exam. But their Devildom History textbook was nowhere to be seen. "Ugh, I left a textbook in the classroom. Wait for me, I’ll go get it!"
"Just hurry up! I’m not explainin’ to Lucifer why we’re late again!"
Tumblr media
The palace garden was full of exotic flowers, nothing like what they’d seen before. The number of colours and shapes worked wonders, some of the plants were gently glowing and lighting up the eternal night. Some had spots and some seemed to move on their own. MC could swear that they could even hear glassy sounds of a few.
"No matter how many times I see those flowers they always amaze me.” Diavolo was lazily examining the garden grounds. "Some of them only grow here. I’m doing what I can to keep them from going extinct. The species come from all of the three realms. That’s why you can spot some familiar ones.” He explained. ”I’m hoping to replant them one day on its original grounds.”
"Thanks to magic?” MC was sipping on some tea.
"Thanks to a good gardener, actually.” Barbatos smiled.
"Oh.” Both men laughed at their confusion.
The quiet evenings in Lord Diavolo’s castle were a nice change from their usual ones. Their small chats quickly turned into a regular thing, always accompanied by a nice tea made by Barbatos.
"Magic definitely helps as well.”
The wind was shyly blowing between the palace columns. Moth-alike creatures were roaming the garden, their wings glooming in the soft darkness.
"I don’t think I can get used to it. The magic.”
"Maybe, it’s a good thing. Living in constant awe of something." The Demon Lord smiled and gave them a soothing look.
They quietly hummed in response.
Tumblr media
Lucky for them, the classroom was open. They entered not bothering to turn the lights on. The lost textbook was waiting for them on their desk. A dark and empty classroom felt really heavy, MC grabbed the book and just as they were about to return to the hallway they noticed an envelope that must have been hidden underneath it.
"What? " They muttered. An elegant paper and a wax stamp made it look important. If not for their name written on the back they’d probably leave it alone in fear of getting hexed or pranked. Instead, curiosity made them break the stamp.
Tumblr media
"Geez, what is taking ‘em so long?" Mammon huffed. They were gone for only a few minutes but making HIM wait was quite an offence.
"Maybe we should go and check on them" Beel mumbled from between his sandwich bites.
"Hm, to get lost on your way for a textbook. Dumb human." Mammon stated annoyed. He was energetically tapping his foot.
"Come on, they probably locked themself in the classroom or something."
Tumblr media
As soon as MC fished the sheet of paper from inside the letter, they started shivering. Cold air began circling them, their vision fading. All the sounds of the world around them suddenly gone. Sudden exhaustion taking over them, an empty void. It was a calm, soothing sensation. Like falling asleep…
Tumblr media
"It’s empty” Beel stated exiting another classroom.
"Ow, come on! They gotta be somewhere ‘ere!" anxiety was slowly making its way in Mammon’s voice.
"Try this one – he pointed at the door on the other side of the hallway."
"If they’re not in the…" a powerful charge of energy went off when he tried to reach for the doorknob leaving both demons in shock for a second.
"MC!" Mammon bailed inside an empty classroom.
Tumblr media
Loud voices filling the House of Lamentation kept the atmosphere tense.
"So they forgot a textbook…" Lucifer tried to keep calm, but his furrowed brows showed how tense he actually was. "…and went to get it…"
"Yeah!"
"…alone." He shot his brother a disapproving look.
A guilty nod.
"So, you went after them and discovered a sudden burst of energy in the classroom." The whole situation was more than inconvenient. It was a tragedy to be specific. An exchange student disappearing on the grounds of the academy. The exact one who couldn’t protect themself from any magic. The foreign trace of a powerful spell didn’t make the situation any better. The eldest took a quick glance across the room.
"We found this." Beel pointed at their textbook laying on the table.
"Are you sure that they just didn’t go somewhere?" Satan uttered.
"I’m tellin’ ya how it went! They’re just gone like that!”
"They sure can’t be far, right?" Asmo’s question was left unanswered.
A motion of loud voices filled the room, everyone discussing what might have happened.
Lord Diavolo approached the table with a stern look on his face. If it was true that something happened to MC while they were at RAD then he was the one at fault for not keeping the academy grounds safe for them. He took the book and examined it. Devildom history. It had MC’s name written on the first page. Nothing appeared to be wrong with it. Just a regular textbook. "It’s just a textbook if anything had to do with their disappearance it couldn’t be it. Is Solomon on his way here?"
"Yes, I called him a while ago he should be here anytime." Lucifer confirmed.
It wasn’t even about the project anymore, MC was missing and it filled all of them with an unpleasant feeling of guilt.
"Can’t Barbatos use his powers and find them?”
The butler sadly shook his head.
What previously was a state of anxiety, now was slowly shifting into a panic whit every passing hour. As long as they were alone in Devildom, they definitely weren’t safe.
"Something happened to MC?!" Luke’s voice caught their attention.
Both angels and Solomon were standing in the entrance to the dining room, looking rather startled.
"We don’t know yet." Diavolo stated calmly.
They joined everyone by the table and Solomon took the textbook. He gave Diavolo a specific look and the demon lord nodded in response. He started studying it.
"Are they safe?! Why aren’t you worried?!" the young angel kept questioning.
"I’m sure that MC’s okay." Simeon’s white lies weren’t exactly suited for an angel.
"Of course, everyone is worried." Belphegor stated irritated. "That’s why we called you!"
Solomon tried to quiet out the rambling and kept examining the book, but just like Diavolo confirmed, there wasn’t anything extraordinary about it. That was unless he opened it and a single sheet of paper fell out.

Not Your Lover
JJ x reader
Tumblr media
“No! Guys. No pogue-on-pogue macking! Why would you even suggest that?” You ask the group.
It was a humid summer night around the bonfire at the chateau. In a game of truth or dare. You were just dared to kiss John B.
“The first dare Y/n has turned town! You know what that means,” JJ announces triumphantly, “I win.”
“No! No no no,” you say shaking your head. You and JJ made a bet a long time ago that whoever declined a dare would lose and have a price to pay the other.
You and JJ have been dragging it on for years. Wondering who would finally break the cycle.
“She already said no! Call it in! Someone else’s turn,” JJ tried.
Immediately, you stepped towards John B. You grabbed his face and without hesitation, pressed your lips against his. You moved your lips with his only for a second. And then pulled away.
You gave a confident look to JJ and he just scoffed.
Causing everyone else to laugh. Even John B. Who was so dumbfounded by what just happened, he was holding his lips in shock.
Hours later, Kie and Pope retreated to their homes. JJ basically had a permanent room and John B’s couch was full of clutter.
“You wanna crash with me? I’ll make room for you,” John B offered.
“Yeah. That would be great actually. Thanks,” you said.
You entered John B’s house and decided to get a glass of water. The cabinates were tall, and you couldn’t really reach the last remaining glass.
You stood on the tip of your toes and extended your arm up. Groaning as you reached for what you couldn’t have.
Suddenly, you felt a presence brush your back. You turned slightly and noticed JJ. He was directly behind you.
You tensed when your butt brushed against his shorts. He leaned over you and grabbed the glass.
You stepped away and held your hand out.
A little flustered from the unexpected contact, you asked for the glass, “can I have it now, JJ?” You asked.
“Oh this is for me,” JJ shrugged.
“Ugh!” You moaned, and decided to leave him being cocky and annoying.
“Wait! Wait I was just kidding,” he chuckled, he filled the glass with water and handed it to you.
But you knew better.
You smiled and grabbed the glass. But then, you grabbed a beer from the fridge and dumped out his water in the sink. Exchanging it for beer.
He mocked being offended with a hand on his heart, “how rude!” He said in an accent.
You rolled your eyes and left to see John B.
There was a dim light on as you laid beside John B in his semi-comfortable queen bed.
He was shirtless in his boxers, and you were wearing shorts and a sports bra.
It was very hot in his house.
“Y/n, can I be honest with you?” John B asked.
“Sure, of course,” you replied.
“I...I can’t stop thinking about that kiss,” he admitted.
“What kiss- oh. The dare,” you added.
“Yeah. It felt like it meant something. And it made me realize I really like you, as more than a friend.”
You waited a second to answer, “Uh...I don’t know what to say,” you admitted. It was just a dare to you, nothing more.
“Imagine what we could be,” he said, turning to face you.
“It was..it was just a dare, John B,” you told him.
“I know but what if we tried something new. I want to be with you,”
“Sleep on it John B,” you tried. Finding any way to avoid admitting to your best friend that you didn’t like him like that.
“I can’t sleep. Not until I do this,” he said, then grabbed your cheek to turn you closer, and leaned in.
“Wait!” You tried, but it was too late, John B’s lips met yours much like they did before.
At that moment, JJ pushed open your door.
“Hey, is that rooster gonna- oh shit. Uhh what are you...” John B noticed your two kissing. Giving you a reason to push John B away.
“Close the door man!” John B exclaimed, JJ nodded and left the room.
For some reason you felt guilty. So you turned over, and didn’t say a word the rest of the night. You couldn’t sleep either.
Finally, the sun rose. It was a reasonable time to wake up, 6:00am. You were already awake. Sleeping on and off.
John B was fast asleep beside you. An arm extended over your waist.
You gently lifted him off and got out of bed.
Splashing some water on your face and heading outside to clear your head.
You sat on a rock near the water, by the boat.
You didn’t want to have to deal with turning down your best friend. Would things be the same?
“What are you doing up so early? Last I checked, you were the kind of gal that sleeps in,” JJ said, approaching you with a raspy morning voice.
“You’re not wrong. I had a rough night,” you admit.
JJ settles next to you, and you scoot to the side, making room for him.
You bit down on your lip. You felt some butterflies when JJ was around you. When his hand would brush against yours even in the slightest.
But you could never admit it. John B wouldn’t forgive you if you admitted you loved the other best friend and not him.
“Are you okay?” JJ asked, moving his eyes towards yours. All focus on you.
“Yeah. I’m-yeah,” you said quickly.
“Uh huh,” JJ says suspiciously.
“My head is just in a weird place right now,”
“What are you thinking about?”
“Um...John B,” you admit.
JJ clears in throat, he really didn’t feel like getting his heart broken again. It was his secret, one he had only just realized. When he saw you kissing John B it made his heart clench. And his jaw stiffen with anger, or jealousy.
“I know you know he kissed me. But you don’t know that I didn’t feel it. John B just confessed his feelings. How do I tell him I don’t feel the same!” You expressed, frustrated.
JJ raised his eyebrows, “so..you just let him kiss you? And you didn’t want it?”
“Yeah,” you felt down, “I know I should have told him. I just feel like an asshole.”
“If it makes you feel any better, John B did this exact same thing to Kie,” JJ chuckles.
You rolled your eyes, “how would that make me feel better?”
JJ laughed at your tone, “I don’t know!”
“Could you tell him? He would take it better...” you offer.
“Uh no way. I’m not doing the dirty work for you,” JJ responded.
“I’ve known John B since I was like 10! I can’t-I don’t like him like that...I don’t wanna hurt him,”
“This is really crushing you, huh?” JJ muttered.
You could only nod. Looking into the dirt below you.
“Fine. I’ll do it,” JJ said.
“You will? Why?”
“Because I like you...and because..maybe you’d be inclined to admit that I won the dare bet.” He shrugged.
You fought a smile, “fine you win. And thank you,” adding a quick kiss on his cheek, before passing him and entering the house.

Based on the Instragram photo that Lila "insisted" Adrien to post. Fans saw it and feel like Lila is holding a gun to his back based on how uncomfortable Adrien looks in the pic. So they retaliate by hosting a "Protect Sunshine Boi from the Witch!" Rally at the next photoshoot. All lead by Wayhem. 😏
"Protect Sunshine Boi from the Witch!"
Devoted fans to Adrien have dutifully and enthusiastically followed his Instagram.
So when he decided to post that weird picture with Lila, they felt something was off.
Tumblr media
They have seen hundreds of Adrien’s smiles from magazines, interviews and Instagram. Natural and blinding.
So why does Adrien’s smile look forced in this picture?
Is this Lila nobody holding a gun to his back?
Yeah, a lot of comments went up like this on the photo. Lila did not get the envious comments she had hoped for about her closeness to a model. Nope, she got criticism for making Adrien Agreste uncomfortable.
Adrien did not bother to defend her since he was too busy avoiding her. But Nathalie certainly noticed the uncomfortable tension and observed the public reaction.
Maybe it was best the teenagers did separate shoots from now on. Gabriel only promised her exposure, not his Son.
Wayhem himself contacted Adrien the day he posted the picture, asking who that Lila girl was.
Adrien: she's a classmate of mine. She somehow impressed my Father.
Wayhem had a bad impression of Gabriel Agreste. He disliked anyone decent like Nino. So for him to like Lila...
Wayhem: seriously Adrien, you looked so uncomfortable with that girl. She is not your Friend, is she?
Adrien hesitated. He had promised to pretend to be friends to save Marinette. But he didn’t want to lie to Wayhem. That was the start of this whole problem.
Adrien carefully said, “She is someone I have to be friends with.”
Wayhem saw through it. “Yeah, you are so forced into being her Friend.”
Adrien: what else can I do? If I push her away, she’ll turn on the dry waterworks and start throwing around accusations.
Wayhem: are all your friends so blind that they can’t see how she makes you uncomfortable?
Adrien: only Marinette. But that’s why I have to look like I’m friends with Lila. If I don’t, she’ll target Marinette.
Wayhem suddenly got a mischievous glint in his eye. “Ooh, first Kagami, now Marinette. Adrien, do you have a thing for Asian girls?”
Adrien laughed. “Don’t be silly. She’s just a Friend.”
For some reason, Wayhem felt an inexplicable desire to slam his head on the desk.
Wayhem: don’t worry Adrien. You can always turn to us if Lila gives you any trouble.
Adrien smiles. “I know.”
After their conversation was over, Wayhem frowned and mused over all he had learned. Lila was a bully, of that he was sure.
But before he decided to rally Adrien’s fan club to protest his new modelling partner, it was best to do research.
He called a few trustworthy fellow members and invited them to help him look into this Lila character.
Social accounts show Lila having an unbelievable and fantastical life. But with some missing logic. Wayhem’s eyebrows rose further as he scrolled down her Facebook.
If Lila had really been in Achu, why weren’t there pictures of her with the prince? Moreover those background photos could be found online...
Ok...why would Jagged Stone write a song about a minor? Also, the dude has been allergic to fur since way before Lila was born.
Ladybug’s BFF... seriously? Who even believes that? Chloe goes around parading it all the time but we see Queen Bee least of all. Moreover, Ladybug doesn’t seem to like Chloe. Also, even Hawkmoth doesn’t seem to be trying to target Lila beyond that Volpina’s first time. He must have learned the truth.
Tumblr media
Research complete, Wayhem and his friends discussed the results.
What a wannabe.
Who even believes this trash?
I bet she fooled Gabriel with a fake resume
And now she’s sinking her claws into Adrien. Ugh!
We must stop her!
Together, they spread the word to the fan club.
Meet at Adrien’s next photoshoot. We are going to put a stop to this liar’s career.
Lila had been demanding people help her stop the fan hate comments. But Adrien told her she had to learn to deal with it as a model. In any case, they were doing separate photo shoots from now on, so people should let up.
Yeah, so not.
Imagine Adrien and Nathalie’s surprise to see protesters led by Wayhem with signs blaring out "Protect Sunshine Boi from the Witch!"
Adrien: why does everyone call me that?
Along with calling Lila a witch, there were also terms like liar and deceiver.
Nadja arrived to report this rally.
Wayhem was only too happy to tell her that Lila Rossi was a liar who had fooled Gabriel Agreste into letting her model with her Son; who obviously doesn’t feel comfortable with her.
This apparently makes it way over to Jagged and Ali who promptly sue Lila.
Lila’s Mother is aghast at what her daughter has caused, not to mention giving her trouble at work.
Gabriel faces criticism for believing flimsy lies.
The school is under investigation for not checking Lila’s Achu story.
Adrien is given lessons on how to identify and handle sexual harassment, insisted and taken by his friends too, who felt guilty for not recognising it themselves.
Oh, Hawkmoth definitely akumatized Lila into the Director, so as to brainwash people into believing her stories.
She was defeated with the help of Wayhem.
Lila is taken out of school and sent back to Italy to a private, remote, strict boarding school. She will obviously be in the spotlight for a while and Hawkmoth might take advantage of that. It was better that she leave Paris behind.
Marinette baked Wayhem and his friends a large cake in thanks.

Careless Whisper {B.H.}
Check out the first chapter here or on my wattpad (nigarrmtvseries) 💙🌅
2. Ice Creams, Dreams.
Tumblr media
The day after was Saturday, the first day of Mars's weekend. Surprisingly enough, she didn't have to work this time. After going home the previous night, Joyce had called Mars and told her to enjoy the weekend pointing that she needed some free time to gain more energy and that she herself could've managed everything at the store.
Not knowing how to spend her day yet, Mars pulled a shirt over her head and went to the kitchen. Her father, John Crawford, was sitting at the table near the window, a daily paper and coffee in front of him, as per usual. John would remind you one of those men who could catch everyone's attention in the room by talking about his adventures so passionately, making other men and women sit closer and listen to him with great interest. This factor also helped him to become a history teacher at Mars's school. Luckily for her, he started teaching there after she graduated.
Her mother, Mary Crawford, was standing at the counter, she spread the butter over the toast and covered it with one layer of cottage cheese. There was a joy in how she did it, the smell of warm toasts filling the kitchen. Mary didn't like when Mars skipped the breakfasts, and always made sure to accidentally drop something in her bag for her to eat later at work.
"Morning." Mars didn't have an appetite early in the morning and decided that one glass of water would be enough. For now.
"Oh, how nice of you, young lady, to finally join our breakfast." Mr. Crawford spoke with a hint of sarcasm, moving his newspaper aside. "Mary, I didn't know our kids live with us after all."
Mars smiled turning around and putting the glass on the counter.
Mary put the toasts on the table and sat down. "I think she just took the wrong keys." She played along.
"Today is just my day off." Mars approached her parents, standing between them and crouching to give them both a kiss. "See, now I even want to eat." She said and sat down checking if the teapot was hot before pouring herself a cup of tea.
Her mother sent her a surprised glance and leaned back a bit to share glances with John.
"So, how's the school, dad?" Mars asked, taking a slice of toast and putting some raspberry jam on it.
John continued reading his newspaper, drinking his coffee from time to time.
"The semester is about to end and I feel like I'm talking to myself at the class about the historical discoveries. I have some boys who participated in discussions, but these days they are distracted by the new girl."
"The new girl? By the end of the semester?" She asked.
"Yes. Maxine Mayfield, from California. Her stepbrother picks her up after school. Unpleasant guy." He grimaced at the last sentence.
Mars hummed putting down her cup. "I'm sure there are other kids who would like to participate in your discussions, they are just shy."
"Well, the only historical facts kids want to know about these days are UFO and that is not exactly my cup of tea." He answered not taking his eyes from the paper.
"Mr. Clarke could help them with that." Mars said, taking a bite of the toast and enjoying the sweet taste that filled her mouth.
"Exactly. And that is why they love him more." Her dad answered, she noticed a faint note of sadness in his voice.
Mars looked up, feeling the tiniest bit guilty. She wanted to remember when was the last time she actually talked to him and the first thought that came to her mind was when she'd had a fight with some kids at the primary school, instead of scolding her, he praised her that she'd kicked their asses. Not in front of mom for sure.
She walked up to him and hugged him tightly. "Oh, dad, I love you." John smiled and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, gently rubbing her arm. "And that is enough."
"I know, I know. As long as you, young lady, show up often at home." He laughed and winked at Mary.
/ / /
After the breakfast Mars finally decided that she has to get out of the house so things wouldn't get more emotional. Having agreed to meet with Rose outside the arcade, Mars pinned her hair up and went on to choose an outfit.
She wanted to put on the jeans that she'd left on the chair the day before after work, but her eyes stopped on jean shorts. She loved wearing too many clothes, but with the heat from outside it was impossible.
That is why autumn remained her favourite season. She grabbed the shorts and picked a shirt, of a dusky grey colour with blue "Queen Tour '80" writings on it.
Mars put on her colorful socks and white nikes, and finally left the room, noticing on the way that the house was empty.
She saw Rose at the entrance of The Palace. Rose was in a pink dress with green leafs on it that always reminded Mars about the one she had in childhood. Rose was the only one who would play with Mars at the playground when they were six. And throughout her life they spent more time together, went to the same school and eventually met Nancy. Ever since they have been hanging out together.
However, Nancy was working as an intern now at the Hawkins Post with her boyfriend, Jonathan, and that often restricted them from seeing each other.
"Wow, Ms. Alwaysbusy showed up!" Rose waved with an ice cream in one hand and hugged Mars.
"Shut up, Rose." She hugged her tightly. Rose was lucky, she has been accepted to the university and was going to move to another state by the end of summer.
"Spare me and get me out of this playground." Rose said looking back at the arcade which was already filled with kids. With the arrival of summer, the arcade opened from the early morning. Mars was sure, at this rate they would have to change working hours to 24/7.
Mars walked towards, suddenly stopping in her tracks when she noticed her little sister and some of her classmates among other kids. They gathered around a familiar girl who was playing Dig Dug. And apparently, she was good at it. Redhead. She felt even more confused than before and looked away.
"Okay, let's go to Starcourt. At least, I'll have Steve and Robin's ice cream, and not this." Mars pointed at the ice cream Rose was holding.
"Ugh, Steve and his stupid ego are too much for me to handle." Rose took her by the elbow and they walked along the streets laughing.
Once they arrived, they enjoyed some sweets and more ice creams, Mars clearly enjoyed Steve's attempts to joke, i.e. flirt with Rose.
"Now what's on the menu?" Rose asked.
"Me 'n u." Steve put the ice cream bowl on the table and sat down next to Mars and Robin.
"Harrington, I'll throw up if you keep making these jokes."
When the evening came, Rose suddenly suggested going to Nancy's, supposing she'd already be back from work. They spent the whole day shopping and just fooling around, and Nancy's house was closer, about 30 minutes by foot.
"Are you sure about that? We usually planned these things before meeting." Mars furrowed her eyebrows, she wasn't sure if it would be right to go there when Nancy's parents were at home.
Rose shrugged. "I am. Karen Wheeler adores us." If Rose had thought of something, then she was going to do that no matter what, there was nothing in the world that could stop her.
At half past seven they were standing in front of Wheelers' house, but before that they made sure to buy some sweets and beverages for a small sleepover. Mars and Rose stood at the threshold and Mars rang the bell.
Nancy was the one to open the door and though they saw each other recently, Mars noticed some colour brought back to her cheeks, Nancy looked better and it made her happy. After all, it wasn't for everyone to endure what had happened last year. Everything seemed to get back to normal.
"Girls?!" Nancy exclaimed.
"I bet you didn't expect us." Rose casually walked in and hugged her.
"But luckily we brought some food!" Mars showed the bag and joined them.
The rest of the evening went surprisingly fast. They changed into pyjamas that Mars and Rose had bought earlier at the mall and it seemed that they discussed everything that night. Mars missed these sleepovers, mostly because it made her feel a soft joy as it brought back the memories.
Nancy's father was probably sleeping on the couch when Mars went downstairs to get a glass of water. She heard his snoring while walking down the stairs. Nancy and Rose were already sleeping and Mars too was sleepy, but she would have been fully satisfied if she had the glass of water.
She suddenly felt a coldness reaching her bones, making her take a deep breath. Goosebumps ran all over exposed body as she looked up and discovered that the front door was wide open. She blinked a few times, guessing it was all a dream, she pinched her arm realising the door was indeed open and the house was silent.
Mars took a deep breath and stepped forward to close the door. Why was it even open? Did Mrs. Wheeler go for a walk? If not, then she distinctly remembered having closed the door as she'd came in after Rose.
Slowly approaching, she jumped up when she saw the silhouette of a man standing outside the Wheelers' threshold.
He was still wearing his blue jeans and black boots, the only thing that differed from the day before, was his red shirt unbuttoned almost till the last button and dark brown jacket on top of it.
"Hi," he looked her up, a wide smile plastered on his face, "...Mars."
She widened her eyes, staring at his unbothered physiognomy. "William?" She automatically uttered.
"Call me Billy." His gaze didn't hesitate when she met his eyes, and they stared at each other for a few seconds, until she took a step back all of a sudden. She wondered wouldn't have she survived if she didn't come for the damn water.
"What are you doing here?" She asked looking around, trying not to show her hesitation.
"Oh, I'm looking for my sister, Max. Mrs. Wheeler agreed to help me." He told her, his tone sounding completely nonchalant.
"Max? Max Mayfield?" She asked, suddenly all traces of sleepiness leaving her.
"I guess, I just found her then."
"No, no, she's not here. I'm just-" She quickly said, but immediately felt agitated when she noticed she couldn't finish the sentence. Luckily, she was interrupted by Karen's voice coming behind her.
"Oh, darling, aren't you cold? It's chilly here." She put her arm around Mars's shoulders.
"Um, yeah, I just came down for a glass of water." She mumbled, not knowing why she felt like explaining herself. "Goodnight."
She turned around and quickly ran upstairs before they could say anything. Only she heard Billy's faint "Bye" and as she reached the second floor he was thanking Mrs. Wheeler for giving the address of Byers.
When Mars entered the room and closed the door behind her, she approached the window looking at the empty streets, and feeling odd. Somehow she was glad that the conversation with the stranger got interrupted, as she couldn't feel calm near him. After all, the conversation wouldn't have gotten any more interesting and he wouldn't have thought about her anyway, and although she was disappointed a bit for a reason that she didn't get to know more about him, she too wouldn't have thought about him.
After thinking a bit she realised it was too late and it was time for her to try to sleep. Meanwhile, after getting the address and smoking his red Marlboro leaning against his car, in the dim light of streets, Billy Hargrove was looking at her.

Dead Friendship Forever | Regan & Erin
TIMING: Current PARTIES: @kadavernagh & @corpse--diem SUMMARY: Former DFFs bump into each other in a cemetery with death on the brain.
Cemeteries were full of more life than most people gave them credit for. Mornings were her favorite, when the sun started to warm the world again. Erin had her biases and the added convenience of living across the street from one her entire life. But there were few places in this town that grounded and comforted her all at once like Strawford Park could. It made this place feel like home again if only for a few moments. Not even this place could silence the voices in her head--especially her uninvited guest--but it was worth it for what she hoped it would bring. Her feet slowed at a portion of the path that broke off into the middle of the cemetery that stretched into a sea of assorted headstones and greenery as far as anyone could see. Knew that if she took a left now and another left at the second tree further up she’d be at her parents’ plot. It probably looked like an overgrown, weed-riddled mess at this point. She could hear her mother’s scorning, teasing tone. How does someone kill marigolds, Erin? I picked these on purpose! You’ve got to try and kill them! A small smile lifted the corner of her lips and she stared hard at the path. She almost made that left turn. Almost.
Something stronger than nostalgia won control of her movements and she continued forward. Not today. Not now. There were enough demons she had to face these days without diving into that emotional baggage. Lifted her head when she heard footsteps not far and a jolt of panic stopped her again like a brick wall had just shot up in front of her. Shit. “Regan…” she started, a soft roll of her eyes. A taste of the anger from their last encounter months ago in the morgue flared up in her chest. Present, but considerably tame in comparison. Time had an effect on emotions like that sometimes. “What are you doing here?” Erin asked, wincing inwardly. Regretted the insanely obvious question as soon as she’d asked it. This was Regan, after all. “I--uh--,” she shook her head quickly, narrowing her eyes at the path just beyond Regan. Fuck. She could do this. Play the pleasant adult before moving on. Hopefully. “How are you?” She asked.
The moon is so wonderful tonight… I bet Ulfric is loving it. “What?” Regan asked aloud, even though she suspected no one would answer. “It’s daytime. And who is Ulfric?” That name sounded familiar, though. A scream that seemed to shoot out of a nearby headstone made her freeze in place, before sprinting away. Cemeteries used to be so peaceful and quiet. Even though they still had some kind of tranquility to them, some kind of indescribable comfort, it wasn’t the same as it used to be. Regan kept her eyes low, sweeping them across the grass in front of her to watch for signs of squirrels and birds. She almost didn’t see that someone else was going for a stroll of their own nearby. But then she heard her name, coming from-- “Erin?” Oh, no. The last time they saw each other flickered through Regan’s mind. The broken glass, the fear in Erin’s eyes. And even before that, Erin nearly drowning in a glass of water because of words that Regan had spoke. A shudder rolled down her spine. There was no way Erin wanted to be here talking to her right now, and she couldn’t even blame her for that.
“What am I doing here?” Regan looked around at the sea of headstones. A disembodied voice shouted something about the lake, and a whisper curled past her ear. She shivered, but did her best to ignore it. “I go for a walk here a couple times a week. I live right nearby, remember? I assume you’re doing the same thing.” Regan eyed Erin, studying the dark circles under her eyes and the slump of her shoulders. She seemed tired, and not in the way of being sleep-deprived. “Uh,” she sputtered, as Erin seemed to do the same. Small chat. That’s what this was. “Look, you don’t have to-- I mean, I know things aren’t-- I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t want--” She pressed a cold palm to her forehead and sighed to herself. At herself. Looked back at Erin. “I'm... things have improved recently, by a little over five feet. Are you alright? You look tired, and just a little bit annoyed, both of which are reasonable.” She paused, considering for a moment. “Do you want to talk about--” Nope. She clamped her mouth shut. Bad idea.
Crap. Did this mean Erin was going to have to avoid certain cemeteries now to skirt around awkward interactions now? She hadn’t thought about it before literally, and even as justifiable as her anger was, the pettiness layered in there too. Was she still going to do it? Probably. The hurt in her chest was as real as her fury. “Yeah, right. I remember. Dumb question, sorry,” she said. Ugh. That night she’d accidentally stumbled upon the medical examiner’s door felt like a lifetime ago. Almost instantly, that macabre bond formed over anatomically incorrect skeleton cookies and wholly invested death chat. It was almost still a sweet memory. She’d promised Regan more than she’d ever bargained for that night too. “Five feet, huh?” It was petty again, she knew that, but a small genuine smile overtook her. Oh, Blanche was going to be pissed, but the words left her before she had the better sense to shut it down. “I heard something about you flying out of the window--I mean off the handle for a little bit?” She asked. Nope. She couldn’t do this. This conversation had gone on for less than two minutes and already she was snipping at her like a toddler who hadn’t napped.
A heavy sigh fell from her and she regretted her last comments already. “I’m fine. And I hope you’re fine too, Regan. I mean that. I’m glad you’re… better.” She shook her head, rubbing the bridge of her nose. That’s a nice skull. Seriously? Her eyes snapped back open and she looked up. “What? No. What did I just--I don’t want to talk about skulls. I don’t want to talk about anything.” She shifted tensely where she stood. “Should you--should you even be here? What if you, uh--” she gestured with her hand towards her mouth. The scream.
Regan felt a sigh leave her mouth as Erin seemed to make peace with the fact the two of them were standing closer than a mile apart. She even did her best to ignore the curt comments. “That’s not amusing.” She wasn’t taking the bait. Blanche had thrown so much of it her way already; Bishop, too. But the sudden jerking of Erin’s head made Regan jump. “What? I didn’t say anything about-- I mean, I can talk about skulls if you want me to. But you just said you apparently don’t want to discuss them. Unless… do you have one with you? Can I see it?” Doubtful. On both counts. Erin looked like the only thing she wanted to hand over was a punch to the eye orbital. But there was a fresh skull nearby, wasn’t there? It flicked at her senses from a short distance away. Every second she stood there seemed like a bad idea-- maybe worse than inviting her to the morgue before. “I should probably, uh-- I mean, it’s getting dark out.” Regan motioned to the sky, which was slowly filling with the colors of an old contusion.
But Erin asked a question and, wait, what was she doing with her mouth? Oh. Oh. Of course. “We’re in a cemetery. If that did happen, it’d be much safer here than just about anywhere el-- uh, not that I-- I’m not going to scream at you.” Regan hissed air through her teeth. Lungs, don’t make me a liar. The pressure stirred, but didn’t try to escape. “It’s still, uh, I’m working on it. Trying to.” She hung her head down for a moment, kicking up a small bit of fresh grave soil. “I’m really sorry about what happened at the morgue. I never meant to hurt you. Really. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, and I still think everyone in this town is out of their mind, but I’m doing everything I can to avoid hurting anyone else.” She met Erin’s eyes, frowning. They had been friends, once. Maybe not close, but they’d connected in a way few people could relate to, and that was something special, wasn’t it? But looking at Erin, it seemed the wound from before was still very much open, and given how her lessons with Deirdre were going and the lack of progress being made, maybe that was for the best. “I’ll leave you to it. But if you did want a skull -- and not a human one -- there’s one buried a few inches underground there, I think.” Regan pointed past a few headstones.
Erin could see that Regan was trying, and she felt a twinge of guilt for being so short. Not too guilty, but enough to stop her from letting loose much more of her barely contained wrath. It wasn’t meant for the doctor, not right now anyway. But wait--she didn’t say anything about the skulls? Fuck. That must have been Kaden. Again. “Right,” she shook her head. That was getting old too. But even as Regan tried to comfort her about the screaming thing, some fear nagged at her regardless. Once you endured a Regan scream, even a scream-lite, you didn’t want to have to tolerate another one. And they were in prime death territory. Bodies were buried beneath their feet and completely surrounded them.
“No, no, that’s--okay,” Erin shook her head, turning down the skeleton offer. Another time, that probably would’ve been a pretty fun way to spend her morning but those days were past them. Not like she had much time to spare for light, fun things anyway. “I should--” I wonder if the wings also flutter during an orgasm. The loud, intrusive thought made her stop mid-speech and all Erin could do was gape like a fish over at Regan. And now she was thinking about it. And suddenly this all had become way, way too much. “I’ve gotta go. Now,” she averted her eyes, suddenly blushing red. In her haste to rush out of there, she brushed Regan’s arm and fumbled a little, mumbling a small apology as she tried to keep going.
Get out of here, Kavanagh. As each second ticked by, it became increasingly clear that Erin was either still angry, or still afraid, or both, and there was no way to change that. Not now, and maybe not ever. Regan tried to ignore the sting of it, of such a potential friend lost, but it was hard to leave it well alone instead of trying to dislodge it and figure out exactly why everything had to go so wrong. Just as Regan was turning away, and just as Erin seemed to want to do the same, Erin froze like something gripped her from behind. “Erin?” Regan turned back toward her, heels swiveling in the dirt. I’ve gotta go. Now. “Did I-- what did I--” But Erin’s face was burning red, probably the warmest thing in the cemetery. “What happened? Are you alright? Did you have a heart palpitation or--”
Erin’s skin against her arm. She really was warm, but something about the contact filled Regan’s insides with an icy dread, and the cemetery around them unmade itself, headstones falling into nothingness and grass turning into wooden floorboards. There was a flash of fury as Erin lunged toward the man with a baseball bat. It made hard contact with his temple and he was on the floor. Regan screeched, falling backwards. She could feel wet grass caught in her palms and her coccyx collide with the dirt, but she couldn’t see it. Instead she saw Erin scavenge his pockets. Gun catching the light. Erin rolled him into a body bag, her face hard and determined with not a hint of guilt or disgust or shame or-- another flash, this time of death all around her, dark and suffocating rather than familiar and comforting. Regan could feel it thick in the hearse, thick around Erin. Could feel the pull of the man from the trunk. “Of course you bled in the van. You had to ruin one last thing on your way out, huh?” Erin was talking. To the cadaver of the man she’d just smacked with a baseball bat. The man she’d killed. Regan repeated the words aloud trying to make sense of them, trying to pull them apart and understand just what she was seeing, but if Erin was a murderer, then there was no understanding. None to be found. The cemetery rebuilt itself and Regan squeezed her eyes shut, trying to push down both the nausea and the scream threatening to pry itself from her lungs.
Erin was still making strides to get away when she realized Regan had stopped talking. Regan didn’t normally just stop talking--babbling and nervous rambling was easily one of her more noticeable traits, and she had been in the middle of exactly that when she’d suddenly stopped. The glance back froze Erin’s entire being in place. Those fucking eyes. The same black ones she saw at the morgue. She was bracing for it--the scream. Hadn’t she literally just voiced her fears about that? Was this literally about to be the morgue all over again? She didn’t have time to be angry--her body was already slipping into an adrenaline fueled flight stance. Regan fell back, staring off at nothing again, though she knew that wasn’t true. She saw something. Oh fuck. Oh, here it came. Erin was turning to run now when Regan opened her mouth--
“Of course you bled in the van. You had to ruin one last thing on your way out, huh?”
It took a few moments but the chilling realization built up thick in her chest the longer she stared. Dale. Slowly, her face burning deeper than before. “What di-” she tried to ask but words scraped the inside of her throat. How could she know that? Where the hell did that come from? Had she seen something? No. No. That was impossible. She didn’t come any closer to her, didn’t try to help her up. Just stared, that itch to run needling at her thighs. “What did you just say?” Erin finally managed with a slight waver, nearly devoid of her previous anger. The chilling fear was rapidly rebuilding that one, though. “What the hell did you just say to me, Regan?” She snapped, stepping forward.
For a moment, Regan could still see it pulsing behind her eyeballs. Erin’s fury and fear. Erin killing a man. Erin shoving him into a body bag. Erin sticking him in the back of her hearse. As headstones and statues remade themselves in front of her, she tried to summon that dark room back like it had been a memory rather than a hallucination. It felt close, but before she could get ahold of it, it streaked away, replaced by the solid feeling of the ground underneath her. But it-- it didn’t matter. Erin would never-- she wouldn’t, right? But how well did Regan really know her? They were friends, once. They were. Was she capable of killing? One hard lesson learned from the autopsy suite: everyone was.
But trusting a hallucination? Kaden thought they were real. Visions, he’d called them, ridiculous though it was. Erin, too. And now here she was, in a situation where she probably hoped Regan would still refuse to put any stock in them. Regan laid her palms flat against the wet grass and looked up at Erin’s petrified face. The blood had drained from it, and she looked as lifeless as the skeletons under their feet. Erin was trying to say something, trying to stutter through it. And there was that look. Stony but fearful. The same one Erin had given her at the morgue that was etched into Regan’s mind like the sound of a funeral bell.
“I said-- why? You clearly heard me. Does it mean anything to you? I thought I saw, I mean, I did see you--” Regan gave Erin a hard stare. Was she looking at a murder right now? Had she known the words had been her own? As impossible as it seemed-- no, of course it wasn’t possible. But it was difficult not to look past it, to not factor it in, to not even consider it. And Erin was angry now. She was, wasn’t she? Slowly, Regan wobbled to her feet, bracing herself on a nearby headstone, just for a second. “I, uh-- sorry, I got lightheaded for a-- I’m going to go. Now. I’m going to go now. Right now.” One more look over at Erin before she started running. It had to be all in her head. But if it wasn’t, and if for just an instant she could set aside centuries of medical knowledge and publications and logic, then… then she needed time to make sense of the unthinkable.

Unforeseen Forecast
A bet that Sehun thought would be too easy to win turned out to be harder than he thought...
High School AU (Playboy Oh Sehun)
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9 | Part 10
Pairing: Sehun x Reader
Genre: Angst/Fluff (pure angst this time around)
Word Count: 2.4+k

From that unexpected and unwelcome visit from your father, your feelings of revenge only intensified, pushing you back into the right mindset that you had somehow let Sehun push you out of with his perfect smile and practiced gaze of warmth.
Willing yourself to somehow forget about the slightest ounce of guilt you had begun to feel from playing the same game he was playing with you, you managed to hide your distaste from him, replacing them just in time with innocent smiles and allowed him to give you kisses and embrace you-which might have fooled you before, but thanks to your newfound resolve, you knew better than to fall back into that trap.
You agreed to go anywhere he wanted and cuddled close to him wherever you went-when appropriate-studying his expressions and body language with a close eye and smirked inwardly to find him become uncharacteristically shy. Eyes squeezing shut with a seemingly genuine smile gracing his lips, his body would mold into yours, his arms cinching tight around your form.
It seemed to be going well, and now that there was only about two weeks left or so before the three months were up, you could only imagine how uneasy he was feeling, often catching him gazing off into the distance, worrying his bottom lip between his teeth with that infamous furrow between his brows.
However... there were things you couldn’t help but worry about.
Sehun was an even better actor than you were.
You obviously weren’t the first girl he had managed to trick with his faultless expression and the sweet nothings he had perfected over the years of deceiving and repetition.
So even if there was a possibility that you had somehow moved him, swayed him, got him to fall for you along the way... there was really no way for you to know for sure.
You couldn’t just ask him, “Hey, I know this is only apart of the bet, but when you inevitably say those three words, will their meaning hold any real value to them?”
He had to act like he was in love with you anyway, and it drove you crazy not knowing if it was all just a horrible act... or would you really hurt him in the end?
You couldn’t help but think about the many nights out on the cliff on the hood of his car, tangled in each other’s embrace as the two of you discussed the trauma you two encountered during your childhood and finding comfort in one another.
He had seemed so sincere...
Then it brought you right back to where you started. He played with countless girl’s emotions, rendering them to tears and humiliation... so shouldn’t he experience the same fate?
Or should you stop while you were ahead and face the fact that you had to go to therapy for subjecting someone through this for what your father did years ago?
Groaning, you let your head flop into the palms of your hands, a migraine no doubt starting to form the more you got lost in your thoughts.
Ugh, maybe you should just stop this whole thing.
The sound of your phone vibrating against your counter had you lifting your head and you reached for the rectangular device with unsteady hands.
From: Sehun Want to come over? I have something to tell you
Your heart was trying to jump out of your chest as you read and reread the last six words of his text, countless scenarios playing out in your head as you tried to decipher what it could be that he had to tell you.
... Would he confess that it’s been a bet all along?
Or would he confess to you something different entirely?
Typing then deleting, the same tedious action, you finally sent a reply before heading to the bathroom, your stomach in knots at the thought of how tonight was going to end.
From: You Yeah, how about seven?? I have something to tell you too just send me the address and I’ll meet you there
Tumblr media
“Why are we at your house?” You quizzically uttered as Sehun ushered you into his pitch black house that seemed more fitting to be a mansion rather than a home.
He offered a weak and nervous laugh in return, reaching around to scratch at the hairs at the back of his neck-his tell that you always found him doing when he was anxious. “I wanted us to be somewhere where we could talk in private, with no one spying in on our conversation.”
“What do you mean?” You slowly got out, his words not sitting right in the pit of your stomach as your corneas stung as he suddenly and silently flipped the switch to the light, and all you could see was white before the surroundings became clear to you. “Wow.”
You completely forgot about the tenseness that seemed to have made a permanent home in your joints as you ogled at the glamorous dining and living room that graced your eyes.
Sehun’s house looked like it belonged in a magazine for fancy living, the leather couches, gigantic television, spotless glass tables and china displayed perfectly in a huge cabinet that tied the whole ambiance together... though, you noted with some sadness that although it looked lovely, it was like this was a model home.
It looked like no one lived here.
Envisioning your much less glamorous living and dining room, you didn’t have the latest and nicest appliances... but it felt like a home. You could tell from the numerous frames that contained pictures of you, your brother, your mother, and just about every other relatives in the family. As you wandered farther, the sorrow further implanted itself in your chest as you saw not one picture of Sehun or of his father, or anyone.
“Yeah, everyone has the same reaction whenever they see my house for the first time,” Sehun’s tight piped from behind you and you jumped as you somehow forgot his presence, him offering a tight lipped smile as he slowly led you to the couch that you were admittedly a bit afraid to sit in. “I’m sorry, you can look around more later if you want, I just... I have something to tell you and I have to tell you now because what I’m about to tell you... is important to me.”
You were sure he could very well hear the violent thump thump thumping of your heart, as you two sat facing each other, the air heavy with anticipation and tension.
He was going to tell you about the bet.
He was going to confess...
... and you’d forgive him.
If he confessed, it had to mean that he at least felt guilty, right? That would prove to you that he wasn’t as selfish and uncaring as you made him out to be, right?
That you could overlook his past, and yours, and learn to overcome your fears of love and commitment... with him.
“I love you.”
Those three words rendered you motionless, as if you had just turned to stone, unblinking and your breath caught in your throat as you stared at him, his own seemingly worried eyes staring right back at you, flitting over every inch of your face, trying to decipher anything that would give away what you were currently feeling.
At first, your heart just about burst with joy.
He loved you, he told you himself!
You two could make it work, everything would be alright...
Then, came the recollection of certain words that had been said when they thought you weren’t listening.
“She looks like a loner who hasn’t had the attention of a male in a long time.”
“We’ll give you three months to have her say, ‘I love you’, and we’ll give you whatever you want.”
“Fine, but I don’t think I’ll need all three months. I bet I can get her to say it in one.”
So in the end, it was all about the bet for him.
Trying your best to not let your expression falter in front of him, trying your best to not let the damn tears fall and not to show how your heart was breaking, you snatched your hand from his and jumped up from the couch like something had bitten you.
Sehun’s hand lay motionless on the seat of the cushion, flinching at your sudden movement away from him, his expression turning into one of puzzlement as you muttered, “I can’t do this anymore.”
Mouth fluttering open and shut, he mumbled with a thick voice, “What?” You had his full attention, his entire form crestfallen as you forced yourself to repeat yourself, this time a bit more clearly. “Why?”
That one word broke your heart and you wanted to take your words back and take him into your arms, knowing his feelings were fake and he was only acting to win that stupid bet, but... you wanted to take him in your arms all the same, ready to torture yourself for his sake.
But it was killing you and you really couldn’t do it anymore.
How dumb of you... for thinking you could ever change his heart.
And shame on you... for knowing what a self-centered, egoistic person he was and falling for him anyway.
As much as you wanted to believe him and his words, you knew better, though it was a bit too late. He slowly stood up as well, movement slow and heavy as if you would run away if he moved too quick, his eyes trained on your face. “I’ve never felt this way for anyway, I’m serious. I really... love you, Y/N.”
Love?
You wanted to laugh in his face.
Did he expect you to say it back?
And once you did?
He’d wipe that pitiful look right off his face and snicker with that evil smirk he pulled off so well.
Then he’d tell you what you already knew... but you’d beat him to the punch.
“I know about the bet.” You admitted softly, silencing his trembling lips and froze him where he stood, his face began to turn desperate as he shook shake his head back and forth, brows furrowing as he refused to take his eyes off you for even a second. You smiled softly at him as you whispered, nodding in encouragement, “So you can stop pretending now.”
Heavy breaths leaving his lips, he attempted to say something, but only could continuously shake his head, as if not believing any of this was happening right now. His eyes still had yet to leave your face, and you swore you could see tears in his eyes, the usual liveliness and sparkle in his eyes long gone and replaced with an emptiness.
He must be so upset you rid him of his gloating opportunity, his big chance to tell you that all this was a sick joke.
“How?” He uttered that single syllable with such brokenness your own brows furrowed at how devastated he sounded.
“I’ve known all along. I overheard you, Baekhyun and Jongdae talking about me in the classroom that day. That I’d be a really fun bet.” You kept strict hold of your expression, glaring at him as he sputtered in front of you, taking a step back as he stumbled one towards you, shame splayed on his face at your withdraw from his advances.
“I’m so sorry, Y/N, I’m so sorry, I...” he croaked, covering his face with his hands as he tried to gain control of his erratic breathing. Your carefully managed stoic expression began to crumble as you watched him break in front of you.
This is what you wanted. You wanted him to feel the same as all the other girls before you felt, you wanted revenge; not only for you, but for them as well.
But the pain in your chest reminded you that hate was not all that was felt from you to this beautiful but blemished, damaged man.
“What are you sorry for?” You questioned with faux casualness. His head shot up from his hands, and your heart constricted with the visual of the tears drying on his cheeks. “I got what I wanted. You crying over me the way all those girls cried over you. Really, I should be thanking you for granting me my wish.”
You were taking it too far, bile wanting to rise up your throat the moment the false words left your mouth, your body wanting to curl up into itself the moment you heard a sob leave him, the moment you saw him crumble to his knees as he looked up at you in apparent agony.
“You were just pretending this whole time?” He downright pleaded with you with his dejected gaze, urging you to admit that you were really lying.
“Just like you were,” you retorted with a hard expression, crossing your arms over your chest as you gazed at him with an unwavering stare.
Sounds of protest left him as he shook his head, his expression turning frantic as well as his tone. “No! No, I... A-At first, yeah okay, I was pretending, but...” he trailed off, licking his lips as he helplessly shuffled closer to you, grabbing hold of your hand before you could pull away. “the more I got to know you... your beautiful smile and your kind soul, Y/N, I fell for you so fast.”
Not letting yourself fall back into his trap, you shook yourself out of his tight hold. “Yeah, right. Just admit it, I was just another bet to you.”
“I swear you weren’t!” He sobbed, head bent so all you could see was his lean frame tremble with his cries, and you stopped yourself just in time to keep from running a comforting hand through his hair-something you knew always calmed him down. “I don’t even care about the bet anymore, I swear. I love you Y/N, I really do.”
“Yeah, well...” you trailed off nonchalantly, each fiber of your being wanting to destroy itself, you knew you weren’t going to be able to hold it together much longer, you had to end this. “I don’t love you, since this was all a joke and all.”
He continued to shake his head, his hiccups and sobs mixing together and you let a tear drop before you shakily wiped it away quickly before he could see. “Looks like you didn’t win the bet after all, what a shame. I’ll let myself out, leave you to... sort yourself out.”
Keeping your cries to yourself as best you could, you opened the door which seemed a ton heavier than it did when you first arrived, you turned back to see him in the same position, his cries having quieted down a little as you uttered something true, “If you really do love me, you’d leave me alone.”

Heartbreak Hurts Like Hell
I was originally going to write about Sue’s envy finally giving her the motivation to confess to Lucifer but I got so caught up with what happened beforehand that I dedicated almost three days of my life writing this. Pairings: Mammon X Yuki, Lucifer X Sue maybe Word count:  3772 words Genre: Angst, hurt, comfort Warnings: Probably OOC and my character gets slightly injured. There’s also some cursing in it. The ending is probably rushed too.
She wrote him a love note once. It wasn’t anything special. She couldn’t think of a better way to express her love for him. Perhaps it was a bit too long. Sue had a horrible habit of getting wordy when it came to her writing. But it was from the heart and she dedicated all her time and effort into writing it. She stuffed the note into her purse, assuring herself that she’d give it to Mammon when she got the chance.
Well, chances came and went, the note was forgotten about and it wasn’t until Yuki confessed to Mammon that she remembered. But it was too late. Mammon and Yuki were together.
It was a pretty generic confession, like one straight out of an anime. Their meeting place was under a cherry blossom tree of sorts. Sue happened to be there as well because she had a still life assignment for art class. Yuki had been there for quite a while, leaning on the tree, walking around it a few times and sitting right next to it, waiting. Sue had half a mind to ask what she was waiting for but she decided against it. Yuki didn’t seem to be aware that she was there too.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps, the sound of someone’s feet cutting through the grass as they ran. Sue peeped to see who it was and her heart stopped. Mammon stumbled before Yuki, scratching his head and wearing a sheepish grin on his face.Yuki helped him up.
Sue got a cold, clenching feeling inside her, somewhere between her chest and her gut. Something told her that she knew what was about to go down. She absentmindedly placed a hand on her purse, watching everything unfold.
Yuki looks down at her feet, a strong blush fading on her cheeks. She fumbled with a skirt before taking a letter out of her pocket, a pink letter bound with a red heart sticker. Sue wanted to turn away. Lord knows she desperately wanted to turn away. But she couldn’t. It was like watching a car accident take place.
Mammon’s face went blank as he eyed the letter. He takes it and promptly shoves it into an inner pocket with a smile, probably planning to show it off. They exchanged some words with each other, Yuki looking ecstatic and Mammon blushing. Then he took her in his arms and planted a kiss on her forehead.
Finally, Sue had enough.
She gathered all her things, stood up almost instantly and bolted to the school building. The clenching feeling began paining her. She tried to prevent the hot tears from accumulating but to no avail. Sue didn’t want anyone to see how hurt she was. They’d start pestering her with questions she didn’t want to answer. She slipped into class and hastily as possible and went over to her seat.
Putting all her supplies inside her desk, she rests her head down on the surface, using her arms both as support and as cover. Everyone assumed she was sleeping when she was really crying. This was all thanks to her habit of taking quick naps during school hours, particularly during breaks. She made sure to stay as still as possible and regulate her breathing.
She couldn’t believe it at first. Even if she knew all the signs, she refused to accept it at first. Yuki was a very outgoing girl despite what she tried to affirm. It was only a matter of time before she decided to make her confession. Her anxiety was never as bad as Sue’s, perhaps because she didn’t have a voice in her head constantly demeaning her. Mammon favored Yuki since she was the first between the both of them to make a pact with him.
But she didn’t get why he was only drawn to Yuki. Sue made a pact with him too and through less dubious means. She should be the one he clinged to. Leviathan forced Yuki to make a pact with Mammon for his own benefit. It didn’t make any sense.
Yuki wasn’t all that great. She was much too nosy and reckless for her own good, constantly getting herself into trouble. Sue had to save her countless times, especially from Lucifer. Yuki was childish. She cried about every little thing, she was a bit selfish, lazy, indecisive, irresponsible and maybe even stupid. Yuki was nothing but a burden.
At the same time though, Yuki was so sweet as well. Even if she was nosy, it was only because she wanted to do what she believed was right. No matter how cruel the brothers were to her, Yuki was always kind to them and believed they had some goodness to them. She was the only person who was never mean to Mammon.
Of course Mammon loved Yuki. Even with all her shortcomings, she was still better than Sue in many ways. Sue couldn’t really think about anything meaningful she had to offer. That was probably why everyone except Lucifer prefered Yuki. She was the fun, loving one. Sue was the boring mom friend.
Sue felt guilty for trying to rationalize why her friend was a bad choice. She should be happy for Yuki. She remembered all those late nights when she listened to Yuki swooning about her dream boy. Yuki saw that in Mammon so she should be glad. But no matter how hard she tried, Sue was never fully content for her friend. Her feelings for Mammon were still so strong.
Ugh, why does stuff like love and feelings have to be so difficult?
“Oi, oi! Sue-chan! Wake up!” A high-pitched voice bubbled as the owner shook Sue. “You’re not supposed to be sleeping during the day!”
Sue let out an exasperated sigh. She knew it was Yuki, not that it was hard to tell who she was to begin with. Yuki stood out for better or for worse. Reluctantly, Sue sat up, wiping her eyes in a groggy way so her friend wouldn’t suspect a thing.
“But it’s break time…” Sue grumbled.
“But Lucifer-san got mad at you for sleeping in school!” Yuki pouted, putting her hands on her hips.
“Weren’t you listening?” Sue began cleaning her glasses. They got smudged against her skin. “He was mad because I was sleeping during class. Otherwise, Lucifer has no problem with me sleeping in school.”
“Oh really?”
“Really.”
Yuki took a closer look at Sue, narrowing her eyes. Sue put back on her glasses with a straight face. Deep down, her guilt was reaching its zenith. Someone so pleasant didn’t deserve her wrath, even if it was all internal.
“Why did you wake me up anyways?” Sue huffed, acting like she didn’t see the confession.
Yuki pulled away quickly, instantly becoming bright eyed. “Oh Sue-chan, it was like a dream come true! I confessed to Mam-kun under the sakura tree and he accepted my feelings!”
And grass is green and the sky is blue! I bet you want to tell me that people die when they are killed too!
That was a stupid thought to have. Sue tapped herself on the head lightly. Yuki didn’t know she saw a good chunk of the confession. Sue knew that very well. This heartbreak was making her act weird.
“That is the sappiest thing I’ve ever heard,” Sue smiled weakly.
“But it was so magical!” Yuki swooned, spinning herself around like some sort of princess. “If you had a boyfriend, you’d understand!”
Sue felt like she got stabbed in the heart. She shouldn’t be getting so hurt over Yuki’s words but they hit a nerve. The bitter part of her was telling her that Yuki knew what was going on and she was intentionally trying to hurt her. But Sue’s rational side reminded her that even if Yuki knew, she wouldn’t be so spiteful about it. She just wanted to scream so badly.
“Why don’t you have a boyfriend, Sue-chan?” Yuki said suddenly.
Sue was taken aback. “Why would you ask something like that?”
Yuki shrugged playfully. “I just think you should’ve had a boyfriend by now. After all, you’re eighteen.”
Sue couldn’t be mad at Yuki for having that mindset. She grew up in Japan and Sue heard that there was a dating crisis there. If Yuki hadn’t been dragged to Devildom, there’d be no doubt that her parents would pressure her into finding a man to settle down with.
“I don’t know…” Sue groaned. “I don’t know anyone out there who likes me…”
“There has to be someone out there!” Yuki asserted. “There’s always someone for everyone. It’s like the saying from your country: Every…. Umm.... Every… Well… It has something to do with bread.”
“Every bread have a cheese?”
Yuki snapped her fingers. “That’s it!”
Sue chuckled softly, secretly wishing that the ground would consume her already.
“Don’t worry, Sue-chan! I will find the right man for you!” Yuki declared.
Sue gawped at Yuki before smiling and snickering, “Good luck with that.”
Yuki affirmed that she could do it before stomping off ambitiously. Sue sighed once more before putting her head down again. Now she had to deal with getting over Mammon and Yuki’s quest to match her with someone. Two things too many. And once the bell rang, Sue was going to have math with the worst teacher ever. Sue placed her hand on her purse again.
“Well, so much for that…” Sue thought to herself.
She knew at that moment that she wanted to dispose of the note. It had no use anymore and if anyone found it, she’d die of embarrassment. Throwing it in the bin was out of the question. It was so easy for someone to find it that way. Not to mention, there were some demons gutsy enough to rummage through garbage. Sue kept thinking of other ways. Even when the bell rang and classes resumed, Sue was coming up with a myriad of ideas to get rid of her note.
It went on like that until school finally finished for the day. To Sue, the day felt longer than usual. She was so desperate that she didn’t even wait for the bell. But she managed to control herself. The last thing she needed to do was piss off Lucifer.
During the walk home, Sue abruptly had an idea. She had read Little Women very recently. There were many parts of it that stuck to her. But since she wanted to dispose of her love note, the moment she thought about very much had something to do with destroying paper. She remembered when Amy burned Jo’s writing.
Of course, fire was the best way to get rid of almost anything. Paper wasn’t safe. The flames would reduce everything to ashes. All of her regrets, unrequited feelings and all would become nothing. If she played her cards wisely, it’d be like the note never existed to begin with.
She knew at once that burning the note would be the first thing she did once she returned to the House of Lamentation.
As she walked home, Sue thought about how glad she was that never bothered to give Mammon the note. She was proud that she was too shy for her own good. She had the feeling that even if she did beat Yuki to the confessing, Mammon would probably reject her. He needed someone who loved him wholly, someone who didn’t make him feel like trash. That someone, as hard as it was for Sue to admit, was Yuki.
If she saw Yuki and Mammon together, she’d turn a blind eye. She’d have to stop looking at Mammon with rose-colored lenses. He was a demon and whatever trouble he got into affected everyone to boot. Even Sue was annoyed at how Mammon would constantly get into the same problem over and over again. That and his arrogance was quite annoying.
Damn it…
Even with all that in mind, Sue’s love for Mammon was still great. She could only hope that this wouldn’t last for so long.
The walk home went without a hitch if one ignored the fact she fell into an open drain. Her ankle hurt like a bitch. In the heat of the moment, she almost used her pact to summon Mammon. Seeing him for the rest of the day was the last thing she wanted. She couldn’t summon anyone else. Making a pact with Mammon alone was a dumb idea. Well, she supposed that her ankle wasn’t that badly hurt.
Shit…
Sue rubbed her ankle once she managed to climb out. Lucifer would notice. She could pretend to her heart’s content, but he had a way of knowing. Her heart stopped. He had a way of knowing. Sue began to worry about how much he knew about her.
He probably knew about the note already. They were in the same room when she wrote it. Lucifer may have taken some cursory glances while he was working. He might’ve known that she was pretending to sleep when she was really crying. Once Lucifer even knew she had a cold before she even came to the realization. But maybe she was just over thinking. Sure, Lucifer knew many things but not everything. And what business did he have with unrequited love anyways? In all likelihood, he wouldn’t care. Lucifer had six oversized babies to look after, two humans to protect as well as copious amounts of work from Diavolo. Even if he knew, he didn’t have the time and energy to care.
Sue limped the rest of the way home, grateful that she didn’t bump into anyone she knew. She stopped at the front door. Maybe she could hide the ankle problem. It wasn’t like she didn’t try to walk normally when she hurt her foot before.
She entered.
The entrance hall was empty, much to her delight, and the fireplace was right in front of her. Sue stumbled into the living room. She didn’t even bother to check if anyone was in there.
“You’re late,” A voice said sternly.
Sue froze, jolting a bit when she accidentally applied weight to her bad leg. She turned to the source and she could feel herself trembling. Lucifer was not too far from the fireplace, lounging on a chair with a book in hand. His eyes were locked on her, that world famous scowl on his face.
“You didn’t even have any of my brothers accompany you,” Lucifer added as he stood up. He walked over to Sue. “Care to explain yourself?”
She looked up at the demon, her heart threatening to beat out of her chest. Her mouth opened slightly but not a sound came out. Lucifer let out a frustrated sigh as his face softened. He picked her up suddenly and set her down on the nearest chair.
“Even you can be troublesome…” Lucifer mumbled under his breath. He stared at her bad leg, almost cradling it in his hands. Sue didn’t know why but it was oddly comforting. It wouldn’t awaken anything within her, right?
“I fell into a drain,” Sue admitted.
Lucifer remarked, “You know you should watch your step.”
“I guess…”
“I am going to grab a few things for your ankle. I want you to stay in this exact spot. Don’t even think about getting up.”
She eyed her feet as she listened to Lucifer walking off. The sight of the swollen ankle made her cringe. Regardless, she took off her shoe and her sock to get a better look at it. It was a lot worse than she was expecting. The skin was mostly reddish with some bits of purple here and there. Sue grumbled. If she hadn’t been so caught up on the note, she would’ve watched her step.
Oh yeah, the note…
Sue pulled it out of her purse. It was folded pretty delicately. If only she could fold other things just as nicely, she thought. She opened it. Only one word in and she already couldn’t take it. She had put so much effort into it. That was one of the reasons she hated it so much. But mainly, it reminded her of the feelings she was now ashamed of. Feelings she wished that she could just get rid of on a whim. Why couldn’t it just be simple like that?
Lucifer may have told her to stay still, but she had to do what she was about to do. Sue got up, the pain from her ankle shooting up to the rest of her body. Jesus Christ, she was in pain! But she ignored it. Crumbling the note in her hands, Sue staggered over to the fireplace. The heat was quite welcoming.
She looked at the crumpled piece of paper before quite casually tossing it into the fire. Falling down to her knees, Sue watched as it was slowly consumed by the flames. A strange sense of melancholy took over. At the same time, she was strangely ecstatic. She couldn’t look away even after the note turned into ashes.
“You cannot be serious!” Lucifer exclaimed.
Sue chuckled softly as the demon paced over to her. He hoisted her up and carried her back to the chair, plopping her down on it. Lucifer gawped at her, holding her face up by the chin so she wouldn’t look away.
“I thought I’d just be able to ignore this but you've been acting strange since break,” Lucifer said. “What’s the meaning of all this?”
“Sometimes you just want to watch your regrets burn in an open fire,” Sue answered plainly. She smiled weakly but Lucifer was as stern looking as ever.
Lucifer raised a brow. “Is that all?”
“It was just a stupid story I wrote. I didn’t like it so I burned it. There’s nothing to worry about,” Sue claimed after hesitating for a moment.
The silence between them was damning. Lucifer’s eyes narrowed before he huffed.
“Sue, I believe we both know that’s a lie. I saw what you wrote and I know exactly who it's for. But if you insist on lying then please be my guest.” Sue bit her lip. She knew what she should tell him but she wasn’t sure if she wanted to. Just thinking about it brought back the pain tenfold. The tears came flooding out and her lips streamed. Lucifer was stunned.
“I feel horrible!” Sue whimpered. “Mammon likes Yuki and I don’t want to be mad at her. But I still love Mammon!”
Lucifer’s eyebrows went up ever so high in disbelief. “You have feelings for Mammon of all demons?”
“I can’t help it. I think he’s great.”
“No, he is not,” Lucifer said, shaking his head.
Sue pouted. “Don’t act like you don’t get it!”
“I really don't.”
Sue furrowed her brows, giving Lucifer the best icy stare she could manage. But she gave up and let out a sigh in defeat, pulling away from him.
“Whatever,” Sue grumbled. “That doesn’t matter right now. It’s just that… I think I might be jealous of Yuki.”
“There, there…” Lucifer comforted, patting Sue on the head. “You shouldn’t be so hard on yourself.”
“But I’m jealous of my friend.”
“You shouldn’t be jealous of Yuki. You must remember that she’s the inferior one.”
Sue paused as she gawked at Lucifer. How could she say such a thing? But once she really thought about what he said, she giggled lightly. It was pretty clear that Lucifer wasn’t being serious. He smirked a bit.
“Thank you. I’ll take it to heart,” Sue assured him.
Lucifer narrowed his eyes. “I hope you are not trying to flatter me. I was worried that this may affect your academic performance.”
“Is that all?” Sue had a blank expression.
“Don’t get ahead of yourself,” Lucifer scoffed. “Now, let’s see about that injury of yours.”
Sue watched as Lucifer tended to her ankle. The brief moment of joy from a few moments before had faded.
“I just wish I could get over it sooner,” Sue confessed.
Lucifer nodded. “I suppose such feelings are quite bothersome. But they are not easy to overcome so don’t beat yourself down if you believe it’s taking too long.”
“I wish it were that simple but…”
Lucifer looked up at the human, raising a brow.
Sue continued, “I don’t know. I just feel really bad about being jealous of Yuki.”
“Has your jealousy led to you hurting Yuki?” Lucifer inquired.
Sue shook her head.
“Have you ever thought about hurting her?”
She shook her head again.
“Then you have nothing to worry about,” Lucifer assured her. “You have a lot of self-control, something my brothers unfortunately lack.”
Sue tilted her head. “But what about you?”
Lucifer got serious real fast. “And what do you mean by that?”
Sue paused, looking at him with a blank expression again. She considered whether or not she should tell him. But before she could decide for herself, Lucifer spoke up.
“No, I don’t even want to hear it. I suggest you keep your thoughts to yourself, Sue.”
“Fine.”
She looked down at her patched up ankle, her internal pain easing up a little. Then her gaze turned to the fireplace. She wished that she could burn her feelings and move on. But all she could do was bottle them up and let it sit there until she forgot. Lucifer said she was doing a fine job, keeping it all in. That probably wasn’t the best advice. But she took it regardless.
“You should stay away from school until your ankle heals. I don’t want you hurting yourself anymore,” Lucifer advised. “I will make sure that you—”
Sue threw herself onto Lucifer all of a sudden, pulling him into an embrace. She could feel a new stream of hot tears running down her face. Lucifer eyes widened in surprise.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Lucifer bleated.
“Thank you…” Sue breathed. She hurt her ankle again.
Lucifer recovered from the shock a bit before sighing. “If you wish to thank me, just say it. This is simply unnecessary.”
Sue looked up at him and was amazed to see the demon blushing. He tried to glare at her, but it was hard to be afraid when he looked so cute. She didn’t think that she’d get him flushed so easily. Many things were running through her mind. Something told her that perhaps getting over Mammon wouldn’t be so daunting.
“You are such a strange human,” Lucifer remarked.
She shrugged. Perhaps she was. Sue began to wonder about what would happen next.
“Will you finally sit down? You’re not making this any easier.”
Otherwise, Lucifer has no problem with me sleeping in school.” “Oh really?” “Really.”
“Why would you ask something like that?” Yuki shrugged playfully.
“I don’t know anyone out there who likes me…” “There has to be someone out there!” Yuki asserted. “There’s always someone for everyone. It’s like the saying from your country: Every…. Umm.... Every… Well… It has something to do with bread.”
“Every bread have a cheese?” Yuki snapped her fingers. “That’s it!” Sue chuckled softly, secretly wishing that the ground would consume her already.
Shit… Sue rubbed her ankle once she managed to climb out.
Lucifer remarked, “You know you should watch your step.” “I guess…”
Oh yeah, the note… Sue pulled it out of her purse.
“Is that all?” “It was just a stupid story I wrote.
But if you insist on lying then please be my guest.”
Sue bit her lip.
But I still love Mammon!” Lucifer’s eyebrows went up ever so high in disbelief. “You have feelings for Mammon of all demons?”
“I can’t help it. I think he’s great.” “No, he is not,” Lucifer said, shaking his head. Sue pouted. “Don’t act like you don’t get it!” “I really don't.”

A Worthy Life
This is a submitted story, writer wishes to remain Anonymous. Credit to the anon, this is not my work.   (A story with Satan)
Inspired by true events.
~A Worthy Life~
Satan never thought of humans as something special to him. He neither liked nor disliked them. He only regarded them as fragile beings that have shorter lifespan and more vulnerable than demons like him. However, his view changed after that encounter. It all started when Satan had to go to the human world again after he begrudgingly received another troublesome task from the asshole Lucifer.
As usual, after he finished the task, Satan chose to spend his remaining time by reading his book in the local park. He was still in the middle of reading when he heard a faint meowing sounds from the bushes behind him. “Hm? Oh, hey there kitty kitty~ are you alone? Come here, I won’t harm you,” Satan closed his book and reached out his hand to the kitten, but that only made the kitten more frightened and ran away from Satan. “Uh- hey wait!” Satan decided to chase after the kitten. He was concerned with how dirty and frail the kitten looked.
Satan didn’t even notice where he was going or which road he took while he was chasing the kitten, but in the end, he managed to catch the kitten. “Hey come on- stay still. I just want to check and treat you.” Satan said as he lifted the kitten to inspect for any wound.
“Let go of my cat! You evil ugly blondie head!” Satan was surprised to see a little boy standing in front of him. ‘Where did this brat sprout from?’ Satan wondered. “Were you talking to me cheeky brat?” Satan asked in an irritated tone.
“No, I was talking to the garbage can. Of course, I was talking to you panini head. Now give me back my cat!” the boy shouted and stomped on Satan’s foot. “YOU-“ Satan almost snap and go demon mode before a woman appeared from across the street; visibly looking panic. “Vian! Where have you been?! You know I was worried sick looking for you! You shouldn’t be out in your condition!”
Satan turned his attention to the woman. “Is this rude brat your kid? Or perhaps your little brother? Maybe teaching him some manners would help” Satan said as he put on his usual fake smile; trying to keep every last bit of his self-control. “I’m truly sorry! Please forgive him. He isn’t my son or my brother but I feel responsible for taking care of him.” The woman pleaded with teary eyes.
“Don’t be mean to missy! She is the only one who cares for me. And you! Give me back my ca-ugh” the boy suddenly doubled over and coughed violently. “Vian-“ the woman immediately carried the boy and excused herself; leaving Satan alone. Satan could only stare. Dumbfounded. ‘Tch, humans are so fragile’ was the only thought that crossed his mind.
He glanced down at the kitten and felt a bit responsible. The boy got agitated because of him after all and besides, he just realized that he…is kinda lost. He didn’t know his way back, he also wanted to return the cat so he decided to join them.
The woman thanked Satan once they settled into the woman’s house, “Thank you for returning the cat, Mr. Sam. And once again I offer you my sincerest apologies on his behalf. He…has a hard time trusting new people,” Satan could only listen to the woman while he stared at the little boy who was already asleep. Satan was still annoyed, but the boy looked pathetic in his eyes so he decided to just let bygones be bygones. He won’t go as far as avenging someone way weaker than him, especially not a puny defenseless little human.
“I bet he is really a handful for everyone isn’t he?” Satan noticed there was something wrong when the woman looked quite offended when he asked that. “This is quite a sensitive issue. Especially for Vian. Vian is actually a good boy. But everyone reject him, even his parents, because of his chronic disease. Most people still believe the disease he is suffering from is extremely the contagious one and should be avoided at all costs. That’s why he always put on a brave front because he immediately thinks that everyone hates him.”
Satan fell quiet with an unreadable expression and only then the woman realized she was spilling too much information to a stranger. “Ah, I’m sorry, I’m blabbering too much. Uh you previously said you need me to show you the way to train station right? I’ll guide you there.” Satan put on his trademark smile again. “Very well, thank you for your assistance.”
It was already a few days since Satan returned to the Devildom, but something was bugging his mind since then. ‘Ugh that brat. Maybe I’m still annoyed with him after all? Maybe I should avenge him? Wait, no. That time was different. I didn’t sense any malicious intent from him. In fact, I only sensed…fear? Sadness? Anger? Hurt?’
Meanwhile, Mammon who was counting stolen his money across from Satan could see it clearly how distraught Satan had become. “Yo! Is there somethin’ wrong? Ya have been puttin’ on serious scary face but ya seem stuck at the same page of your book.” Satan finally snapped and retorted back; venting his anger toward Mammon. “Uh- shut up. If you are looking for what’s ‘wrong’ then you can try putting your face in front of a mirror and you’ll see what’s wrong.”
“Geez calm that temper will ya? You’re more salty than usual that means there’s somethin’ up with you. Well, I don’t know and I don’t really care but if ya want to do somethin’ you should just act by what you really desire. You’re a demon and yet you think too much before even following your desir- oops that’s my cue to go, adieu!” Mammon immediately bolted out from the room as soon as Satan gave death-glare to him. “Damn it. I guess I’ll just go. I can check up on the cat. Yes, that’s the only valid reason,” Satan tried to reason to himself.
After he managed to get Lucifer’s permission, Satan came back to the human world. It was a good thing he still remembered the way to that boy’s house.
“Ah! You are the yellow-head catnapper from before!” the boy already jumped to his defensive mode as soon as he saw Satan in front of the house. “Vian, please be polite, I already told you he was only trying to tend to Bobby.” the woman lightly scolded the boy.
“Ahaha that’s right. You should listen to your missy, cheeky brat,” Satan plastered his usual fake smile, but he didn’t feel as annoyed as before.
“Don’t call me that! My name is Vian! Missy, you are wrong! That yellow-head is an absolute meanie!” Vian ran up behind the woman.
“You are calling me with weird names so why can’t I also call you with one too?” Satan smirked. He was satisfied. He felt like he won an argument.
“Come on Vian. You shouldn’t judge someone immediately like that. I’m sure he is a…nice gentleman. Although a little petty-minded?” The woman added the last words only in her thought. “As proof, he was trying to help Bobby right?” the woman tried to reassure Vian. “And Mr. Sam, is there something I can help you with?” the woman asked.
“Oh err right. This may sound out of the blue, but I came by just to make sure if the cat is all right. I’m quite confident in my knowledge about animal anatomy so I thought I can offer you some help since your cat looked a bit unwell the last time I saw it,” Satan said; trying to find a strong excuse. It’s partially true that he was concerned about the cat, but he felt like there is another thing he was more concerned about and Satan still wouldn’t admit that the boy was part of his concern.
“Oh, my. Really? Actually, you are quite right. I’ve been trying to tend to it but I think my effort alone is not enough so I’m grateful for your help. Please come in. Vian please wait here and keep Mr. Sam accompany while I go fetch Bobby, okay?” The woman said before she went off to another room; leaving Vian alone with Satan.
Now that they are alone, Satan could sense the nervousness and confusion emanated from the boy more clearly. “Why are you helping my cat? Or more like why do you still bother to come here?” The boy finally broke the silence with a low voice, almost as a whisper.
“Hmm? I see you still have the guts to talk. With how you look now I was sure you’ve turned into a stone, but I see you still want to talk and ask me before throwing anymore accusation at me again?” Satan showed his exasperation passive-aggressively with his smile. The boy instantly felt guilty. “I- I’m sorry.” The boy was on the verge of tears while saying that.
“Uh- okay, okay apology accepted. Anyway, why do you think it’s weird for someone to come here and offer help?” Satan quickly went back on the topic and decided not to intimidate the boy any longer. It would be troublesome for him to handle a crying child.
“Didn’t missy already told you? I- I’m different. I’m different from everyone. Everyone is healthy and I’m..not. Because of my disease, everyone around me never thinks of me as a worthy one. They only see me as something bad and they all avoid me. At least I still have missy who can still accept me.” The boy looked crushed when he explained it.
At that moment Satan felt like the boy would crumble into dust and gone at any given moment. There were also that sharp pangs tugging his heart. It was a very unfamiliar feeling for Satan. He gave it a moment, but he still couldn’t put a name into that new feeling.
Satan was speechless until the woman came back. “I’m sorry to make you wait. Here’s Bobby.” The woman said while holding the kitten. “Please lie it down in here. I’ll check it.” Satan began to dutifully check the kitten. It didn’t take long for Satan to pinpoint the problems. “Yes, your cat is sick. I have the remedy for the cat, but I need a few days to gather it. I’ll come back when it’s finished. Until then, please keep your cat hydrated, clean, and fed well. Luckily, I brought some special wet cat foods. You can feed it with these.” Satan said before leaving. Satan smile when the woman thanked him, however, his eyes were more focused on the boy who only kept silent.
Back in the Devildom Satan prepared the remedy faster than expected. Preparing it wasn’t a problem for him. What troubled him was the weird feeling he got that day. He wasn’t sure at first, but after he gave it more thought he got some idea. ‘Maybe, just maybe I can relate to that brat?’ Satan thought to himself. They are both very different. He is a demon, a high-ranked demon and that boy is a human, just a powerless little human. However, there was one thing in common and Satan only came to that conclusion after he was finally sure of what he sensed from the brat. It was mostly a feeling of insecurity.
Satan hates to admit it, but he is aware of his own insecurities. How he felt he needed to prove himself, his worth, so his existence won’t merely be seen as someone else’s shadow. While that boy, even if that boy struggles over a different thing, Satan could see the boy also wanted to be seen as someone worthy, as he really is, not as something else, especially not as a weakness.
Since he started to realize it, a new desire started to grow on Satan. Satan didn’t want to take Mammon’s word, but that time, he just followed on his desire. A desire to support that one little fleeting life.
Satan began to rummaged through his pile of books; trying to find any explanation and cure for the said disease. Satan was devastated when he found out there was still no cure that can completely heal the boy’s disease. “AARGH! Damn it! Can’t I really do something about it?! Satan threw his book away in frustration. Satan didn’t know what else to do. For the first time he felt powerless and his demon power won’t do any good. In the end he went to the human world again with a heavy heart.
“Welcome, Mr. Sam. Thank you for sparing your time to come here again.” The woman welcomed Satan as he arrived.
“I already promised that I would come here again so it’s only normal if I keep my words, right? And here, you can feed the cat with this medicine” Satan flashed his smile when he handed the medicine to the woman, but his eyes were busy scanning the room. “Is the boy not with you today?” The woman looked hesitated to answer when Satan asked her. “Ah, you mean Vian? He is resting in his room now. His condition is worsening again.”
The woman then looked at Satan with a pleading look. “Umm I know it would be rude of me to ask a request to someone I just know recently, but could I ask for your help to look after Vian for a while? There’s no one else I could ask for help and I need to go buy medicine and some supplies for Vian. Also I believe you are a good person, so, please?”
Satan gave it a thought. There’s no harm in helping her and he is also curious with the boy’s condition. “Sure, I’ll help. Don’t worry about it.” Satan said. The woman thanked Satan and showed Vian’s room, after that she went off to buy things.
Satan sat beside the bed where the boy sleep in. Satan could only look at the boy’s face in silence. ‘He looks paler than before. What could’ve happened to him while I was away?’ When Satan was lost in his thought, the boy suddenly shifted uncomfortably in his bed. He looked as if he was in agony. “O-oi! Brat?! What’s wrong? Wake up!” Satan gently nudge the boy, but panic was clear in his voice. He was afraid if the boy is in pain or having nightmare.
The boy’s eyes shot open, his breath was ragged. At first the boy didn’t notice Satan presence. It was Satan’s gentle voice and touch that brought the boy back to reality. “Are you ok now?” Satan asked; genuinely worried. He was never this worried over someone else before, not even to his brothers.
The boy couldn’t process anything. He only covered his face; trying to muffle his cries. “Oi, come on. You should tell me what’s wrong. I won’t know unless you tell me.” Satan kept urging the boy to speak; his hand rubbing the boy’s head in an attempt to soothe the boy.
“I-I’m s-sorry. I just had a-a bad dream.” The boy said with a hoarse voice. Satan handed the boy a glass of water and said, “here, drink this first, then tell me what was it about.”
There was only silence until the boy finally spoke. “I dreamt about it again. I was alone. Then I saw in the distance there were people. They were having fun and looked very happy. I wanted to get close to them to join them, but they immediately steered away from me. They only saw me with disgust. Then I heard they all talked badly about me. ‘He is different, he shouldn’t mingle with us.’ I always heard that same words.” A shed of tears streamed down the boy’s cheek as he retelling his dream.
Satan couldn’t take the heart-breaking sight. He brushed away the tears from the boy’s cheek gently with his finger; trying not to startle the boy. When he realized the worried look on Satan’s face, the boy quickly added, “umm sorry, please don’t worry about my silly dream. This is something I usually get when I feel down and sick.” The boy said. He tried to lighten up the mood and put up a smile.
But Satan won’t be fooled by something like that. “No, you shouldn’t say sorry. And about dreams, someone I know, well, my brother, once said that dreams are the manifestation of our subconscious mind. They are often influenced by our experiences and they reflect what we really feel about it and what we really want from it. So I wouldn’t think your dream as a silly one and you too, shouldn’t think of it as silly.” Satan held the boy’s hand in his. He put on a serious expression, but his touch was calming. The boy could feel the warmth from Satan’s touch and words. “You mentioned that you only got this dream when you feel down and sick. Care to tell me what happened? What triggered your dream?” Satan asked.
“Umm…so yesterday when I was strolling around with missy to take fresh air outside, there were some neighbors who shooed us away. They didn’t want us to get any closer to their house and said something about being ‘vile outcast or a ragtag bunch of misfit’. I don’t really understand what they meant, but missy wouldn’t explain it to me and she looked sad. So I think that must be something bad.” The boy was fiddling with his fingers as he told Satan what happened. Satan felt the anger inside him instantly rising up. He wanted to throw curse words and go hunt the culprit right there and then, but that time, he knew the boy needed him more.
Satan took a deep breath; trying to calm himself before he began to talk. “Listen, I won’t hide anything. I’ll be honest and tell you everything you need to know and hear. You are right. Those huma- I mean people are talking bad about you. BUT, those people are wrong. People who can only oppress the weaker and can’t try to understand the others are the real trash, not you or your missy.”
The boy looked like he was going to cry again. He thought only his missy can try to understand and give him the support he needed. He already gave up on his wish to be accepted by other people, but he knew deep down he still yearns to be accepted and recognized. And here he found another person who can understand and support him.
Seeing the boy started to cry again, Satan gave the boy a hug and patted his back. “I may only know you just recently and I may regard you as cheeky brat the first time I met you. But after knowing more about you I think you worth more than you ever think, more than other people think. Wait, scratch that. You are more worthy than those people who can’t see your worth. Those people have no place to decide your worth because you are the only one who can decide your worth. So, for now, you shouldn’t worry about being liked or not. Those who see you as you are and appreciate you will still like you and grow together with you. That means if you are doing something right they will support you and if you are doing something wrong they will help you to correct your way. You have your missy and Bobby that can support and help you. And now you also have uh…me at your side.” Satan said the last words with faint blush dusted on his cheeks.
“Ahem, do you understand it now, Vian?” Satan released Vian from his hug. Vian was moved by what Satan said so he eagerly nodded his head, he felt better after hearing that.
“Good.” Satan smiled. Satisfied with Vian’s reaction. He then ruffled Vian’s hair playfully until the Vian feels irritated. “Ughh…stop it!” Vian swatted Satan’s hand from his hand. Satan didn’t take Vian’s act as offensive at all. In fact, he was pleased. “There you go. I like it more when you show that fiery spirit. Remember, you don’t have to worry too much. You won’t know what the future has in store for you. I’m pretty sure you’ll find your own place to be happy and when you do find it remember your hard time as a lesson. That way you won’t fall into the same level as those trash people.” Satan smiled again, but that time it was a genuine smile.
His smile then shifted into a low key malicious one. “And if anyone dares to talk or do something awful to you, just tell me. I’ll make it certain that I will pay them a visit and give them a ‘lecture’ or two.”
Vian, who didn’t really understand the hidden meaning behind Satan’s choice of word with ‘lecture’ could only agree. “Um, okay! Pinky promise!” Vian said. He showed his pinky finger to Satan.
Satan was a bit confused at first, but then the boy showed Satan how it’s done. A new warm feeling began to spring inside Satan. It was different from the usual hot boiling sensation he felt whenever he is angry. This new feeling was very pleasant for Satan. “Ahahaha, you are really something aren’t you” Satan laughed. At that moment Satan had decided that keeping Vian’s life as a worthy one is something he can do. Meanwhile, Vian only tilted his head. Confused by what Satan meant or why Satan laughed.
“It’s a bit too late to ask, but umm since when you were here?” Vian asked Satan. He just realized his missy is not with him. “Oh, your missy is out to buy things and ask me to stay with you while she’s out.” Satan explained everything that happened before.
“Brat, do you want to hear some interesting stories?” Satan suddenly wanted to tell some stories. Satan was thinking about telling stories from some books he had read before, but maybe he can also use his brothers’ shenanigans as a bad example.
“Hey, stop calling me that, or do you want me to call you with weird names again?” Vian pouted. “Ahahah, sorry that name kinda stick with you. And actually, I don’t care anymore if you call me with anything weird. I know you don’t really mean it.” Satan said jokingly, but he really didn’t mind it since the boy is special to him now.
“Sorry, I’m late. Oh, you’re awake already Vian? Thank you for your help, Mr. Sam.” The woman said when she returned home. She noticed the cheerful look on Vian’s face and that was the first time he ever showed such look in front of someone else other than her and that also made her happy. “Missy, missy, come join us! Yello- I mean mister said he wants to tell us some stories.” Vian excitedly called her. They all gathered and enjoyed their precious moment.

Boom, CMC one-shot. (Also warnings: minors drinking a bit of alcohol)
There was a loud BOOM!
It shook the ground some. Ignis didn’t spare a second as he proceeded to drop flat into the ground. Narrowly avoiding the flying glass shards of the windows in front of him.
An attack was surely possible. But after 3 years of this routine, it became habit to differentiate between what was an attack and what was someone’s antics. So reacting, assessing and responding to it in a matter of seconds became as natural as breathing.
Didn’t mean he enjoyed it.
After waiting for the floor to stop shaking, he stood and brushed the dirt off his clothes. Nodding to the others passing by, he made his way to the garage.
“What have I told you about detonating bombs within the citadel?” Was the first thing out of his mouth as he entered the room.
As those words were spoken. He stepped to the side. Dodging the baseball that was thrown at his face. He saw the look of glee and amused surprise on the room’s occupant’s face before they exploded into a puff of smoke.
Ignis simply watching as they collected themselves from the ensuing coughing fit.
“Crap, I wanted to have some more fun." Ignis made a soft noise.
“You two seem to have become a lot more ‘affectionate since you found out I won’t allow you to hit me, hm?"
Brushing off the dirt on her sweater, Silas gave a toothy grin. "It's just our way of showing love."
Ignis shook his head. “Noctis has asked everyone to his room for dinner.”
Silas raised an eyebrow. “Already? Time flies by.”
Ignis chuckled at that, Silas joint in with laughter of her own when a box to her left fell over. A small body tumbled out with a surprised cry giving way to glee.
"I wanna go again!”
“Can’t Valentina, boss is calling.”
“Aw Bull.”
Rolling his eyes, Ignis watched as the young girls flew backwards as a resounding boom was made from the mixed bomb powder. slamming into the ground a few feet from him.
Valentia picked herself up and gave her head a shake. Silas joined her with a rolled her eyes.
"Let’s go. Not like this place will be clean anytime soon.” Valentina snorted, crossing her arms.
“Bet he’s sleeping while you’re here.” The answering sigh was enough to bring out giggles from the girls.
“Don’t worry Iggy, if he’s sleeping, I know what will wake him up.”
C/C/C/C
“BOSS! GET UP!"
With a voice of a million sirens suddenly cutting through the evening air, Noctis wasn’t the only one holding his hands to his ears in a futile attempt to blot out the noise. When it slowly cut off, everyone turned their head to the cause of the siren call.
“Silas, why did you have Amata be so loud?” Noctis yawned as Silas shrugged in response. Rubbing his eyes. He looked at everyone in the room.
"What time did I fall asleep last night?"
“You’ve only been asleep for 30 minutes.” Ava replied lazily, busy with the stuff bear one of the younger kids asked her to fix.
Noct let out a whine and curled back up into a ball. “Ugh, so little sleep.” Valentina decided to then throw a small pebble at him in response. Gladiolus, who had just entered the room, proceeded to chew her out.
Which then resulted in a screaming matching between the two.
Amata shook her head in defeat as Silas laughed besides her and cheered on Valentina.
Gaius made himself known as he walked up to Ignis.
“He sleeps too much.” Was the first thing he mumbled.
The second was, “Too loud.”
Followed by, “What’s for dinner?”
Noctis managed to answer his question when he gained everyone’s attention and called for the food to be brought in.
After a moment to bring everyone down from the sudden spike of adrenaline. Things started to go more smoothly.
C/C/C/C
"-and then that poor child got involved and I'm not sure how she got a hold of my bonesaw but that's when things went down the waste bin.
Ignis watched as the soul of Ms. Castro slowly dissociated from her mortal shell as Amata spoke. she was smiling vapidly, though it was obvious her mind was feverishly trying to ignore the graphic details of some of Ms. Eshmun’s more...’stubborn’ patients.
All he knew of the story she was talking about was that she had woken up to the sound of screaming, a chainsaw hitting something and the smell of blood. Then, both Gladiolus and Gaius had come crashing through her wall after setting off one of Ms. Drusus’ bombs. Her struggling patient in their arms and then her memory just sort of cut off from there.
Now they were all in Noct’s room after finally putting her patient back into her room.
Gladiolus’ face was a bruised mess while Gaius was scorched all over his body, but she had made sure it was all just superficial before they arrived so no one was concerned. Ignis knew Noctis was glad the three were bonding and there was no need to delve further than his happiness.
Kaiser had left to the kitchens before the nonsense had begun. the shenanigans having forced him to abandon the others lest he be caught up in them.
They didn’t blame him seeing as they would have done the same given the chance.
So would he for that matter.
Instead, Ignis focused more on Noctis. Watching as he and Prompto gushed over the bundles of joy in their laps. Umbra and Pryna were barking and yipping softly. pressing into their stomachs, trying to get as much pets and scratches as they could.
Noctis squealed and squished the growing pup into his chest.
"You’re so cute Umbra!!” Prompto looked over at Noctis with a frown.
"Hey, Tiny is cute too!” Noctis looked back and nodded seriously.
"Yes, yes she is," Noctis concurred, watching as Pryna let out a pleased yip as she was happily engulfed in Prompto’s arms.
“Hey guys. I got a question.” Everyone turned to Silas, who had snapped out of her daze.
She nodded towards Noctis. “We already know what you did.” She looked back at the others. “did everyone else have something to do with their folks during the holidays?”
The room was so silent, Ignis would have almost thought that the noise a moment ago was his imagination.
It was not a topic that was taboo per say.
But mostly it was hard to talk about one’s family when one missed them.
Silas was, however, a very curious girl so she decided to help the conversation along but throwing in her piece.
“I mean, my mom and dad would go to this guy in little Galahd and he would make these sleds that always lasted for a few days and they would put them through the ringer.” She moved her hands around, trying to describe what it was like. “Like, they would do so many stunts with them and record it all. They would then gather friends and watch it together.”
She looked around at the group.
“Have you guys done anything like that?”
"Hmm...Sorta," They looked to Ava, who shrugged. She took a bite from her plate and continued with her stitch work.
“We cut our own tree and tied Ribbons to it to hope for a healthy year.” She sipped her mug of coffee and grimaced. "Valentina, did you spike the grounds again?" That set everyone to inspect their cups.
“Damnit Drusus!”
“It wasn’t me!”
“Might I remind you that we are still underage. Adults gone or not.”
“Bad Valentina!”
“IT WASN’T ME.”
“Cute defense, still guilty.” Gladio and Kaiser had to hold Valentina back before she launched over the table and tackled a grinning Noctis.
“And why are you still drinking the coffee Ms. Varius?”
Ava didn’t even blinked as she responded. “Because I’m not gonna waste coffee just because there’s a little bit of alcohol. I drank wine with my family on many occasions so this isn’t new.”
She looked at him directly. “Problem?"
Ignis felt like he should have one but he looked into his mug and dipped a finger. He then licked it and looked upwards thoughtfully.
Gladiolus took a swig himself and shrugged. "Got a bit of a kick to it."
"Nice buzz," Gaius echoed.
"What did I say about drinking these things while we’re so young?” Amata berated them. She couldn't blame the group though. And didn’t continue to push it when they shrugged back at her.
After doing so many things that pushed their heads to the very brink. It wasn’t often they touched the adult drinks but sometimes they grabbed a glass of it because something so uncommon shocked them back to their senses. It was stupid and dangerous but they all trusted Valentina to be careful.
trust was all they had most days.
“Back to my question folks!” Silas gained back their attention with a clap of her hands. She then proceeded to point at Kaiser.
“What did you do with your folks?” Kaiser actually took the time to think about it.
“Well, dad was less busy during the holidays so he would make this wonderful smelling but dreadful tasting fruit cake. We would then throw it in the fire place and let the house fill with the wonderful scent while we bought pizza and watched musicals together.” Kaiser smiled softly as he remembered.
“Ooh, that sounds fun.” Valentina jumped in. “But my family was awesome! Dad would get me and my siblings and he would get a bunch of fireworks, and go to the junkyard and set them off while mom cooked this yummy stew!”
“Gaius?” Amata looked at her friend curiously.
Gaius blinked and shrugged helplessly.
“Read old folklore together...Wove new traditions from the old ones...Made spice cider...and burned papers with written wishes.”
“Wow....that was the longest thing I ever heard you say.”
“Valentina!”
“It’s true!”
“What about you Eshmun?” Amata pointed at herself at the sudden attention.
“O-oh, well we just stayed home and watched movies.”
“Sounds normal.” Silas stated, Amata shrugging with a blush.
“Prompto?” He just shrugged and continued to pet Pryna. Noctis laid his head on Prompto’s shoulders in a form a comfort. it seemed to help as a smile emerged on the blonde’s face.
“ I spent the day with my uncle, nothing more.” Ignis said, focusing on his meal.
Gladio rubbed his chin. “Don’t really remember much traditions for that but we just watched random movies on tv and that was it.”
The meal was continued in silence but it was a thoughtful one rather than an awkward one.
Noctis broke that silence near the end of the meal.
“We can make our own tradition...”
“King you gotta make more sense then that.” Ava said with a raised eyebrow.
“What I mean is, why don’t we make new traditions for everyone?” He kept himself focused on Umbra’s fur.
“We’ve been hard at work for so long and things are started to even out a bit...” he shrugged.
“I thought maybe we can do something special now and then to keep the kids spirits up when times are tough.”
This, is what made Ignis so honored to follow Noctis. How, despite his obvious discomfort when pushing his boundaries, he always wants to help everyone under his care. To put their joys before his own. To save their health and happiness before his own life.
So wonderous yet self-destructive. Ignis had so much work to do to keep him safe when he let his guard down.
And a quick look at Gladiolus proved he wasn’t the only who thought so.
“What should we do?” Kaiser asked curiously, playing with his hair.
“Fireworks!” Valentina automatically suggested. And was as quickly turned down as usual.
“We can come up with traditional foods?” Amata suggested. “Just pay attention to any allergies!”
“We can find some movies at the store?”
“Yeah!”
“I still say we light something up.”
“Shut up Drusus.”
“Make me Amicitia.”
Ignis smiled as the meal came to a chaotic close.
He already enjoyed the traditions he had made for himself after this new life began.
Watching this group of children become better leaders was always a sight to see.
But watching as they regain their fading childhood joy at such simple things always made the difficulties of the coming year worth the struggle.
Ignis rested his head in his hand and closed his eyes for a moment. Allowing himself to engage in his favorite tradition during this time of year.
And he let the joyful voices lull him into a brief but comforting rest.
Merry Christmas folks! (And please reblog)

Carson vs. Low Blood Sugar
Set in the past when Carson was in college and had a class with Daniel which is how they met. They are 22 and 21 here. I basically just wrote this because I’m going to university now so Carson is back at uni too.
When the professor asked them to form groups of four for the upcoming project, Carson naturally partnered up with the only person in the class he'd spoken two words to - Danny. The weird guy that still sits next to him despite all the other open seats and Carson’s obvious discomfort. But Carson was quick to believe the lie that the open seats were farther back and he wouldn't be able to see the board as well. Sure Carson could move, but he was far too stubborn for that.
The room erupted in groans when the teacher announced the group project. Everyone assumed everyone else was just going to slack off and force them to do the work of all four people. Daniel wasn't too sure about being in a group with Carson himself because even though he was studious and had good grades, it was entirely possible he'd sleep through every group session and just shrug it off later.
Two girls who sat in the row in front of them asked to join since it made the most sense. They introduced themselves as Kelsey and Ava and smiled shyly at the two guys.
Carson's interest in them ended at, "Sure, whatever." And Daniel's interest ended at Carson. Unfortunately it didn't seem like they would be spared any of the awkwardness that came with group projects.
"We should exchange numbers, so we can make plans to meet up." Kelsey suggested.
"Yeah and we can meet at the library, there's a cafe there too if anyone wants food or coffee." Ava chimed in.
"Sounds good," Daniel said. Then they passed around their phones sharing info. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't secretly happy to be handed the perfect excuse for getting Carson's number. Daniel had been thinking of asking him for the last few weeks but figured he'd be shut down with something like, "Sorry man, I don't have a phone number" while quickly shoving his iPhone into the pocket of his hoodie. If he wasn't so God damn cute Daniel would have given up already seeing what a piece of work he was. Eventually he'd find out why he was so cold to people.
After each group was formed and picked a topic the professor let them go half an hour early. Carson put in his earbuds and prepared to make a run for it but Daniel subtly blocked his path.
"So what do you think of this project?" He asked.
Carson paused and sighed, "Shouldn't be too hard if everyone has read the assigned reading. You did do the reading right?"
Danny rubbed the back of his neck, "Of course I did." He said unconvincingly.
"Good." With that Carson left.
--
The group made plans to meet two days later at the group study rooms on the fifth floor of the library.
Saturday was surprisingly beautiful. The weather was nice for Fall and Carson could feel the sun on his skin as soon as he stepped outside. Too bad he'd spend the whole day working on a stupid project about the popularity of tragedies in Shakesperian Era writing.
When he got to the library Danny was standing outside leaning against the building. He pushed off when he saw him and pulled something out of his pocket. Carson reached for the door but stopped cold when a printed copy of a news article was thrust in front of him.
Daniel looked at him excitedly, "Is this you?"
Carson stared down at it and had to quickly restrain his reaction. He recognized it immediately. The article was from his local paper when he was 14, the title read, "Local Boy Defies Physics Stopping Car from Hitting a Child."
Daniel had spent the previous night cyberstalking Carson after he finally finished all the assigned reading. There was absolutely no trace of him on social media but he did find several odd news articles. His name was also listed by the college as a Graduate of Human Biology.
"Yeah that's me, but every word in that article is false. I hope you didn't waste too much time reading it," Carson said dryly. He sidestepped him and walked into the library. It was practically deserted. Not having an actual excuse for the claims in the article, Carson really hoped he could avoid it altogether.
"It says that a car was heading towards an eight year old girl when it suddenly stopped, the front crumpled in like it hit an invisible wall a mere foot away from collision. There's even a picture. The car is stopped in the middle of the road with nothing else around it but it's beat to shit. Then that looks like you, kind of, maybe."
Carson's eyes dulled like this conversation was utterly exhausting. "If you're that curious, the car in the picture swerved to hit another car to protect the child crossing the street. The first car drove away in a hit and run. And if you want the real gossip, I'm pretty sure it was my history teacher." Carson said. Everyone in his town knew what he was and jumped on the chance to blame him as often as they could so he got used to lying on his feet.
"Really? I guess that makes sense. But why does it say that you passed out on the scene and got taken to the hospital. I mean, there was a whole car accident and you were the only person that got hurt?" He laughed.
Carson shot him a murderous glare, "It was very surprising." Daniel looked down at the ground in shame.
"Sorry..."
"Kids came up with a lot of rumors and bullied me until the rest of the town believed them. I bet this isn't only paper you found making crazy accusations."
Once inside Carson headed towards the cafe instead of the group study rooms.
"Well, sorry to hear that. So were you bullied a lot in school then?" He asked curiously. Daniel was determined to figure him out and he couldn't do that without striking a nerve or two.
"You sure ask a lot of questions."
Carson got in line with Daniel following closely behind. He finally went quiet after that last remark. It was already a few minutes past the time they were all supposed to meet but knowing how long they could be working, it was too much of a risk not to get coffee first.
He felt around in his pockets when he got to the register. "Oh shit, I don't think I brought my wallet." Carson said, giving Danny an expectant look. He figured he had him feeling just guilty enough to buy him a cappuccino.
"Ugh, fine," he pulled out his old leather wallet and handed the lady a 5.
Carson laughed, "that's such a dad wallet."
"What does that even mean?"
--
When they got up to the fifth floor, coffee in hand, the two girls were nowhere to be found. Figures. Daniel used the group chat to ask them where they were. After all it was possible they were simply late.
"We went to the desk but they wouldn't give us a room, so now we're wandering." Daniel relayed the message to Carson who frowned in thought.
"Tell them to come back up. I'll get us a room."
Looking suspicious enough already this was probably a terrible idea but he was impatient and little pissed off to be honest. He quickly turned towards the rooms, hoping to make it to one before this Danny guy so he wouldn't see him open it.
"Wait how are you going to do that? The help desk is that way," he asked, jogging to catch up. Great.
If the desk lady wouldn't give those girls a room then she probably wouldn't give him one either, also he just didn't feel like dealing with that. Daniel made it clear he wouldn't be too easy to shake off, getting rid of his plan to just open the door with magic. Instead he got out his student ID and pretended to swipe the scanner next to the door. The red dot turned green as he did.
"Woah. Do you have special access or something?" Danny asked.
Carson just hummed vaguely and sat down in the first chair he saw. He'd been doing such a good job not doing any magic since he moved out that even a little trick like that was tiring. Carson didn't want his reputation to follow him to university, but now that he was almost done with his Masters degree he found himself caring less and less.
Pulling out his own phone, Carson texted the group chat, "508."
Danny still had that childlike look of amazement on his face when he looked up again and Carson groaned internally.
"Where else can you get into?" He asked excitedly.
"Wherever I want. Wake me up when they get here." Carson pulled his hood up and laid his head down on the table. He wasn't really going to sleep, he just needed a break from talking. God this was going to be a long day.
Carson heard Kelsey and Ava talking long before they made it to the study room. They clearly knew each other before taking this class.
"Hi, how have you been?" Kelsey walked in first, carrying her own coffee cup, she looked at them both, her face pinching in thought, "Daniel and... Carson?" She struggled to put a name to the back of Carson's hood.
Now for the most interesting part of any group project, seeing who would take charge first. Carson finally straightened back up as they sat down on opposite sides of the table, putting Ava next to him.
"So, Tragedy, where do we start?" She asked.
Carson sat back and waited while everyone looked around awkwardly.
"Hey how did you get a room anyway that bitch at the counter made up some policy about needing a professor's permission for these rooms." Kelsey commented.
Daniel's face lit up again, "oh you should have seen it. Carson just swiped his ID and opened the door like magic."
Thank god Carson had just swallowed his coffee because otherwise he'd be choking on it at the mention of "magic".
"This is a library, not a bank. I just opened the door," Carson said lamely. "Anyways, we need to divide up tasks before we do anything else, and come up with a central theme so we're all on the same page. I think we should address the political implications of Tragedies written around that time. They were widely popular but very controversial."
Everyone stopped and stared at him. Either he'd completely lost them or he'd gotten more antisocial than he thought if that was a shocking amount of words to come out of his mouth. Internally Carson was cursing himself for accidentally taking on the role of the leader. He'd have to work even harder to pawn off that responsibility now.
"Right. I think the professor wants us to use quotes from the literature in the project but he also expects us to do a little research and come up with a thesis, not just a word by word analysis of the reading," Ava said. Meanwhile Kelsey was muttering something under her breath about the professor having a stick up his ass.
It looked like they were finally getting on track when Ava stopped suddenly, "hey what happened on the first day of class?" She asked.
Carson's blood turned to angry sludge. He was really tired of explaining himself. "Nothing, happened, I'm just clumsy."
He shot Daniel a look who thankfully tried to smooth things over, "Yeah he just tripped into the desk and it made a lot of noise, they ought to just nail them down." Ava hummed in response, not quite satisfied with that answer but ready to drop it.
--
After coming up with ideas for their individual parts they did some quiet work. That way they could have an outline done to share before they leave. The longer Carson strained to read the tiny text in his book the more he realized he was getting a headache. Not a migraine, but he didn't feel great. They'd been working on this for hours now, Carson checked his phone to see just how long it had actually been. They got to the library at 3pm and it was now closing in on 8pm. The worst part? He'd woken up late, gotten dressed, then came straight here. Meaning he'd slept through breakfast and forgotten lunch. Typical. You'd think after living alone for a few years a person would learn to take care of themself.
Daniel gave him an odd look, "Did you leave the oven on or something?"
Carson frowned. How the hell was this guy always so good at reading him? "No, it's nothing."
He really, really wished that it was nothing and he could just go back to reading but his body was making itself clear that it would not be neglected so easily. A dizzy feeling flowed through him as the blood rushed through his head. He felt sick.
Low blood sugar, it had it's own unmistakable brand of awful. Carson quickly shoved his hands under the table so it wouldn't so obvious that they were starting to shake. His brain frantically searched for solutions. The cafe? Closed. Snacks? Didn't pack any. Vending Machine? Yes. He had enough change in his jacket to get something from the vending machine he'd spotted near the bathrooms. It would look less suspicious if he waited a few minutes then left casually but a sudden churning in his stomach decided for him. The time to leave is right now, or better yet, five minutes ago.
Carson pushed way from the table clumsily then stepped around it to get to the door. Daniel followed him with his eyes which were now pinched with concern. He wanted to follow him and ask if he was okay, but valuing his life, he decided to just let him go with no further comment.
Carson was visibly unsteady on his feet. He wasn't diabetic so low blood sugar wouldn't kill him but it sure felt like it could. A general numbness spread through his body. Next was the mysterious cold sweat that he could distinctly feel despite knowing his skin was completely dry and the clammy feeling was just in his head. His body had a tendency to wait until the very last second to alert him of a problem which was why all the symptoms seemed to slam into him at once.
"Just make it to the vending machine and get a snack. You just have to make it that far." Carson urged himself as he wove between tall bookshelves. He was starting to feel a bit light headed too. Perfect.
The vending machines came into sight in front of him, tucked into their own little alcove. He was so close, so close, so... nauseous. Gonna throw up. Change of plans. He walked right past the machines and into the men's bathroom, his heart sunk as he did. But throwing up in the hallway was simply not an option. He dove for the furthest stall and just barely got the door locked before dry-heaving over the toilet. After a few unproductive minutes of that he coughed up some the coffee he had earlier and his stomach finally seemed satisfied after rearranging its contents. Carson leaned against the wall heavily, sliding down to sit on the tile. Why am I like this? Oh right it's because I'm forgetful, irresponsible, and stupid he chided himself. Closing his eyes, Carson focused on regaining his strength so he could at least buy some food then come back to this spot. He was finally about to stand up when the door swung open. Carson froze.
"Carson, are you in here?"
It was Danny, of course.
"Yeah," he replied. It would only seem more weird if he didn't respond.
"You've been gone kinda a long time. The girls were starting to get worried." He said tentatively.
"Well I'm fine, so either take a piss or get out, would you?" Carson snapped impatiently. He wished Daniel would just shut the door already so he could suffer in peace.
Daniel rolled his eyes, "It's getting late so everyone wants to wrap up, make sure we all know what to work on, and go home. So are you coming back now?" He asked. Usually his line of questioning would be more like "Are you okay?" "What are you doing in here?" "Do you need any help?" "Are you sick?" but with Carson he'd learned the beat around the bush a little knowing he wouldn't answer any direct questions like that nicely.
Carson tried to push himself to a stand up but ended up tripping over his own feet somehow, ending up on his hands and knees. Guess that answers that question. "No," he said plainly.
"What'll it take to get you out of this bathroom?" Danny sighed, still standing by the door. He'd heard shuffling just now but still didn't really know what Carson was doing in there.
With a grimace Carson swallowed his pride and asked for help, "Um, a bag of crackers would be nice."
Daniel's brows furrowed at the strange request, but even more so at the small voice it was requested in. Crackers? That was really what he wanted right now?
"Okay, wait here."
A moment later he came back in with a small bag of cheezits and bent over looking for Carson's feet to see which stall he was in. He was surprised to see that he was most likely sitting down against the furthest wall. In the back of Daniel's mind he noted that being on the ground was a bad sign.
Meanwhile Carson was cringing with every fiber of his being. He hated being like this. If Daniel had just left he probably could have gotten them himself and avoided all this. But truthfully he still felt a little dizzy and sick.
"Um, so what did you want crackers for? You're not going to eat them in here are you? That's unsanitary." Daniel called out before sliding the bag under the door.
Just seeing the bag ignited a gnawing hunger in him. Whatever half-formed insult he had on the tip of his tongue was quickly forgotten in favor of food. Sweet, sweet sustenance. Carson tore open the bag and threw a few into his mouth, careful not to eat them too quickly.
"You know this is super weird right?" Danny asked.
"Whatever," Carson grumbled. His voice was muffled by the crackers.
"Wait a second," he paused, "were you hiding in here... because you were hungry? Seriously?" Daniel scoffed. As tough as his deskmate liked to act, he was surprisingly childish.
"Well you don't have to be a dick about it. Low blood sugar is a real and serious condition, asshole," Carson muttered. There was no real anger to his words though. He just had a habit of swearing more when being defensive. Daniel stopped laughing.
There was a rapping on the door, "Um, it's Ava. What the hell is taking you guys so long?" She called out.
"We'll be back in a minute," Daniel yelled back.
"That's what you said when you left ten minutes ago," she said impatiently.
Carson scooped out the last of the crumbs from his bag of crackers and got up. He still felt a little off but the threat of throwing up or passing out upon standing was no longer there so that's good. He reluctantly unlocked the door and walked past Danny to get to the sink.
"You look, not-healthy."
Carson scowled and took a look at himself in the mirror before splashing some water on his face. Daniel was right, despite being a lot steadier there was still a sickly paleness to his face.
--
They walked back to the study room where Kelsey and Ava were already half-packed up and ready to go. Carson sat back down in his seat and glanced at all the papers scattered across the table.
"So here's the plan..." Ava gave a detailed description of everything they'd decided since he left. It was a solid outline. And if anyone had any more questions they could just text between meet-ups.
"Oh look, it's already pretty dark outside. I hadn't even noticed," Kelsey said peeking through the blinds. "Now I'll have to have walk home in the dark."
"College campuses have some the highest rates of sexual assault." Carson said absentmindedly.
"Why would you say that right now?" Kelsey shivered.
Carson looked up at everyone's mildly horrified faces, "What? It's true, it's dangerous out there. People need to be careful." He defended.
"Well now you both have to walk us home, since you kept us here so late doing whatever the hell you were doing." Ava said crossing her arms.
"You say that like I wasn't already going to walk you home," he said. Good job Carson, real smooth. Ava's expression turned blank and confused for a second before going back to it's previous tense, subtle annoyance.
"Fine, let's get going. It would make sense to walk with whoever lives closest to each other. I live off campus."
"Same," Carson added.
Kelsey and Daniel both lived close to the dorms so it made sense for them to go together.

Back up plan
Note: Real life characters used, but with second 1st names, so I will present a legend:
Ezra Matthew Miller
Thomas William Hiddleston
Benedict Timothy Carlton Cumberbatch
Paul /no 2nd first name/ Bettany
*
-       Come on, we are late...
-       We are not!
-       Matthew!
He stopped and tilted his head. His baby curls bounced.
-       That's not my name!
-       What's with you and second names? - I asked innocently.
-       What's with you and second names! - he mocked with more annoyed tone.
-       I like it.
-       Ezra! Ez-ra! Say it.
-       Ezra...
-       OK... Not in this way, we are in a crowd, and I am going to work.
I laughed.
-       Will William and Timothy be there?
-       You mean Tom and Ben? - he walked in front of me faster, yelling.
-       That's what I said. - I whined in protest.
-       How about Paul? - he stopped and looked at me.
-       What about him...
-       His name?
-       He doesn't have one... - I whined.
-       Ha!
-       Shut it Miller! What play you siad you were gonna rehersal today?
-       Ugh... - he growl - You forgot already...
-       No... I am just bad with names....
He loked at me raising a brow. I smiled and tried to wink but failed.
-       I told you, you can't wink.
-       It works...
-       Sometimes, and only with the left eye. - he fake mocked me and laughed.
We arrived at the theater. It was one of the last rehearsals for the play they were gonna perform this Friday. We entered. The security knew him and they just nod to each otehr, we were in a hurry because we were kinda late. When the security looked at me he raised his hand holding mine and dragged me in. When we entered the big hall room they had already started.
-       Sit there - he pointed me the 4th row. - The view there is the best.
The writers looked at us and frowned their faces.
-       Ezra... - I squeezed his hand and pull him closer to me. - They are here, I rolled my eyes in the directon of the play writers - I can't stay, what they will say...
-       They won't say anything - he pet my head - Over the rate Paul's sons, chill... - he looked at my hand squeezing his - Can you let me go now?
-       Sorry - I whispered and let my grip on his forearm.
He ran and literally jumped on the stage and I sat several seats in the 4th row.
He positioned himself on the left side of Paul. He had forgotten his script, Paul gave him half if his.
-       I know it, it's OK.
-       You better take it - one of the writers said. He sounded rather serious, I got anxious - lately me and Ezra spend more and more time together, I was worried my presence might bother his work. My hands were shaking and I was on the edge of crying. - If I had a girlfriend that pretty, I'd probably forgot my name too! – he leaned and whispered to the other - Girls at my time weren't that's pretty... - although it was a whisper the whole hall geared him.
My head rang... Everyone were laughing. I felt my face on fire. Ezra was blushing too. I saw Paul pushing him playfully. I also heard boys giggling somewhere behind me.
They eventually proceed with the rehearsal. It was some 18 century or something. It was a straight play, with a hint of romance and drama. Paul was the husband, Ezra was one of the lovers of the wife, Tom was the other one and Ben was the the tailor, who knew about everything and blackmailed her. The actress who played the unfortunate Mrs pretend hold her big dress in one of the parts when she was dancing with Ezra. It was pretty.
At one of the other scenes where she was charming Ezra's character after several year they were apart, he kinda forgot his words and was cutely blinking, it was sprinter for him to forget, she laughed at him, it was so cute I giggled as well.... Horrible move, because all turned to me.
-       Girl's giggle is always a good omen. - Paul said.
They took 20min break. Ezra came to me.
-       I am so sorry... It slipped.
-       What do you mean? - he hugged me. - I brough you here to test if the play was funny.
-       Ezra... - I rolled my eyes - You know I laugh at everything.
-       True! How do you like my character?
-       Well... I say I'd tap that... Unfortunately looks like I have to be married to unlock this option. - I heared William laughing next to me.
-       Not exactly necessarily - the woman said, bumping her shoulder into mine, then she ran to Paul and  jump to hug him.
-       Looks like she took her role for real.
-       Well...  Probably because she is his wife for real.
-       Oh... Oooh... Mathew... Quality timeig with the wife of your mentor... Shame on you... - I yelled and slapped him, like she did in one of the acts.
-       Seriously now? - he pulled me closer to him no whispered in my ear - I have seen your tumblr, so don't you dare lecture me on morals. – we both giggled.
-       Get a room! - Paul yelled at us.
-       Don't bother the kids. - Timothy said and ruffled Ezra's hair. - Plase convince him to keep the hair. Mine used to be like this, but I made the huge mistake of cutting it short.
-       Guilty! - William stopped next to us, raising his hand and covering his face with his other one.
-       I refuse to live in a world where pretty boys cut their hair! - I said dramatically and fake fainted.
-       Bravo! - the woman clapped at me and laughed.
-       Paul too... - Ezra whispered.
-       What... - I looked at Paul, hugging his wife, like they were both 13. - Him... Curly...
-       And so wrongly blond... - Timothy added.
-       No.... - I covered my mouth with my hand, mimicking the vibes of the time in the play.
-       Yes... Ben has photographic proof.
-       I need to see it.
-       Get me... The money form the doctor, and we will talk. - he said in character.
-       Deal! - I did a little bow so as him.
-       You managed! - Ezra squealed.
-       Well I now manage to do a lot of stuff with you attached to me.
I headed someone coughing behind me, when I turned around I saw 2 tall boys - one dark haired the other blond, then it hit me these were Paul's kids and what I said probably... No definitely came out wrong.
-       That's not what I meant... - now everybody laughed. - I am sorry if you thought like this.
-       Of course we don't - Paul said, his wife was trying to silence her hysterically laughter.
-       You are horrible... - I pointed at him with one free hand, while petting the baby curls with the other. - He is horrible! - I said while turning to face Ezra.
-       Tell me about it! - Matthew said shaking his head in dessaproval. - Tom can confirm.
-       Yes! - he put his hand on his heart. -  I give you my word as a Marquis!
I decided to leave for the rest of the rehearsal, otherwise I feared it won't be interesting enough.
This week I met Ezra once, we went to spa. People were looking oddly at us - we were in the Jacuzzi, I was in the edge, he was in my lap, so today - in front of me, I was massaging his head, the baby curls were wet and we're even curlier. It's not that we were doing anything inappropriate... Maybe his pleasures sounds, from me massaging him were giving the wrong vibe... Who cares.
It was finally Friday!
I put on a black lace dress, as matching to their play time gap as possible. I was on the 4th row, next to Paul's and Timothy's families. I believe the pretty girl on my left was William's girlfriend, but not sure.
The play was amazing! Half the play Ezra was blinking in awe puppy in love, the public definitely loved him. Later when he was the already with a a name lower I bet half the girls were in love! He was more serious, but the baby curls made him irresistible. Paul's doctor, I am sure made several women and young ladies consider the idea of faking a faint through the cocktail. William's Marquis definitely striked, I heared someone wissling on him several times, it was ride and inappropriate, but I am sure it sums up the idea of the theater. Timothy definitely made all the women hot and in need of new dresses... And clothes in general. The spot light Madame on the other hand, made all the men considering cheating on their wives. The lady on my left blushed several times. British man William was born with manners and it was a mesmerizing to watch.
There were wild applause after. People stand and applaused, 15min. I saw Ezra tear up, this was his 2nd big theater production, this time was one of the kinda leading roles, the last time he was like 15min of 2 hours, now he was missing only 30min of 2 hours and a little bit. It was a huge win for him. The rest were already famous  names in theater performances.
The cocktail was in the lobby of the theater. Everyone were super excited, from the play, several people took pictures with the actors, the writers, the producers... Kids get pictures with theirs fathers, pretending they don't know them and fangirled around them. I got several fancy pictures with Ezra, in the spirit of the performance, they were all in costumes still. Since Jenn, Paul's wife, was out of role and with present day clothes, the British club asked me to pose with them.
-       No way... This shit will go viral. - I protested.
-       Come on!... It will be glorious! - Ezra hugged me and waggle with me. - I will tell people this is so my girlfriend there. - he whispered in my ear is this tone of his.
-       Ugh... Matthew!
-       You can't say no...
-       My default option is ‘yes’, not being able to say 'no'! There is completely no need for you to inssist.
-       I do it only for your baby curls.
-       Yes! - he loudly kissed my cheek.
I was positioned between Paul and Benedict. One was hugging me and I had placed my hand on the knee of the other. Tomas was hehind us, and Ezra was kneeling in front of me. The picture turned amazing. I managed not to giggle or blush to death. Although my mind was constantly attached to their pretty hands. I bet Ezra will tease me till I am alive for this.
We got changed for the club party. Only cast and crew members and several close friends and families. Ezra put one of his favorite 3 buttons in general shirts, the other English gentelamans were with pants and elbow rolled up shirts...
I was wearing a leather pants and lace top, and leather jacket, with my bike boots. The others went with their cars, I had picked my motorcycle for us. Since Ezra loves rides. There was a crowd of people in front the club, I doubt they knew who we were, but wanted to go in, since there was something in.
Suddenly Ezra pulled me closer, hiding.
-       What is it?
-       My ex! Where? – he gently pointed out while pretend fixed his hair.
-       That’s why I am here, right?
-       Don’t say it like that … it sounds ugly, I love you and also you are my amazing back up plan. – he whispered and masked it with kissing my cheek.
-       Ok, let me!
I took his hand in mine and walked. I felt a hand on me. I looked at my left. There was a man, taller then me,  sharp face and green eyes, short hair, a little bit slicked on a side.
-       Yes... - he was visibly surprised, by the fact I was a girl. Ezra tired to pull my hand but I didn't turned back. -  I know I am lovely! But we are busy now!
The man spoke.
-       I...
-       Sorry, darling, I am taken! - I rise my hand, holding Ezra's.
The man frowned.
-       Ahm ... - Ezra came closer. - He is looking at me.
-       Oh, of course he is, you are exquisite! But unfortunately... He is also taken! - I again raised our holding hands in the man's face. – Bye! – I sassed away.
We walked in the club.
-       That was nice... - Ezra said.
-       Yes... You definitely deserve an Oscar for this performance! So do I! – I sassed again. - I am sooo impressed! - I said holding his face in my hands, squeezing his cheeks and poking his nose.
-       Well I am sick of him... what a jerk!
-       Obviously we had a bad pick at boyfriends... - I beeped his nose.
The English gangs walked by us. We both stared dreamy nd followed.
-       OK... I have to ask, but answer honestly. - he took me to the reserved spot and we sat the little couches.
-       Ok... - I held his hands in mine.
-       If... If you were to choose... Like Madame... Which one is going to be?
-       Am...  - I looked at the men - Which one of them... Like I just pick one...
-       Yes! - he said with a devilish smile.
-       Noooo... – I fake cried.
-       Yes! Pick one. Only one... Must be...
-       Damn you... Miller... - he mimmiced my giggle. - Miller...
-       Yes, I am aware... You want me to hate this one too?
-       I choose you! You will be the husband, I will go with them as lovers? OK!
He pretend to be in a deep inner debate on this one... He stayed like this for a while.
-       OK, I agee. But only if I am in.
-       Pfff... Matthew... When did I do something without you!
He kissed me.
-       I hope this lipstick doesn't leave a mark.
-       Nope...
He laughed. We got up to dance.
-       I have one last win over you!
-       Really?
-       Yes, you’d meet him when he comes! And you will sooo loose the 2nd first name game! – Matthew laughed, a rude laughter.
-       What makes you think I will lose?
-       Jude will tell you when you meet! – he “flipped” the curls and we proceed jumping around on the melody of the song.
 *
Hint: David Jude Heyworth Law – he uses his 2nd first name as 1st first name.

Meet Lust
Summary: Lust thinks its unfair Remus gets to hang out with everyone and he doesn’t. Deceit said not to bother Thomas but he is stubborn. He is also petty and most importantly he is bored. Crack (ish) fic.
Ships: None. (Roman get some smooches but they’re not in a relationship so it doesn’t count?)
Warnings: sympathetic deceit, sympathetic remus, a flirty oc, cussing, innuendo, caps, light making out. Some kinks are mentioned and threats of castration.
I can’t explain.
.
Patton was walking down the stairs, heading to the kitchen when he spotted someone on the living room’s couch.
‘Oh, hey kiddo…?’ when the person turn around all he caught was a cheshire grin before he let out a loud shriek and bolted towards the stairs again.
Mid run he saw Virgil open his door with a worried look on his face, Patton however was too busy running for his life to even care to explain. He screamed all the way to his room and slammed the door behind him. Virgil was looking at morality’s door with a weird face when he heard the steps coming up the stair. Once he caught sight of who it was he let out an ‘Oh, hell no. Is too early for this shit.’ He slammed his door just as the mystery person started running towards him, making them crash against it, exclaiming ‘You guys are no fun!’ in a whiny voice.
‘What is the meaning of all this noise…?’ was the only thing Virgil heard, before putting his headphones on and drowning all the background noise. He internally wished Logan good luck.
‘Hot teach! Oh, I’m so glad you’re here!’ said their…guest? Clinging to Logan’s waist and rubbing his face on his stomach, making the logical side unable to move since he was supporting both of their weights.
‘Ah, this explains it.’
‘Daddy was so rude to me! He didn’t even say hi! and Virgin Mary shut the door on my face!’ Logan squinted at the not-quite-stranger. ‘I didn’t do anything!’ complained the other.
‘Felix, where is Deceit?’ asked Logan, making the other let go of him immediately, which was a bad sign. ‘Felix?’ he received only mumbled words as an answer. ‘What was that?’
‘I might or might not have locked him in his room?’ said Felix, pouting. The logical side studied the other, playing with his hands as he stood there, looking all the shades of guilty.
‘May I dare to ask why?’ said Logan, fixing his glasses, Felix’s eyes unfocused at the action but Logan was quick to bring him back from whatever he was thinking by snapping his fingers in front of his face. The other shook his head, coming back to his senses.
‘He let Remus go out, hot teach! Remus!’ whined the other. ‘Before me! I just want to have some fun too!’
‘Right now Thomas is not in the best state of mind to deal with you, I’m sure that’s the reason Deceit hasn’t let yo- are you mocking me?’ he stopped mid-sentence, as he became aware Felix was imitating him while mouthing what he was saying in a childish manner. The other shook his head to deny the statement. Logan sighed yet again. ‘I’ll just go find Deceit.’ He then walked towards Virgil’s door to ask him to take care of the problem child for a little while. He didn’t even get to knock on the door before he heard him exclaim from the inside.
‘Don’t even think about it!’ Logan deadpanned, looking back at Felix, who shrugged innocently. Logan looked towards Patton’s door next but shook his head before heading towards Romans who was probably still asleep as Thomas was up all night working on a video.
He suddenly felt the tug of their host calling, closing his eyes and grunting as Felix, next to him, squealed in delight. Great, he thought, as he was forced to sink down and appear in Thomas’s living room.
‘Hey, Logan. I-‘Thomas stopped himself as the logical side raised a hand.
‘Before you start, I already have an idea of what’s going on and I’m afraid you aren’t going to like it.’
‘Uh… what do you-?’ started asking the brunette when a figure appeared in Virgil’s place at the stairs.
‘AHHHHHH THOMAS!’ jumped the figure, extending his arms as if trying to grab Thomas and hug him.
‘GAHH!’ was their host natural response. Logan made a gesture with his hands as if to say ‘See what I meant?’ Felix seemed to be vibrating in place. ‘Who-? ARE THOSE LEATHER PANTS!?’
‘Ah? OH!’ exclaimed Felix, looking at his attire. ‘Yes! They absolutely are! You like them?’ he said, making provocative poses. Next to him, Logic massaged his temples.
‘No! I-I would never wear something like that!’ exclaimed Thomas, horrified.
‘You should though! You have a great ass! You should own it!’ insisted the other.
‘He literally owns it.’ Was Logic’s confused contribution.
‘DID SOMEONE SAY ASS’ they all heard, just as the duke appeared behind the TV looking very interested.
‘Oh, god. No.’ murmured Thomas.
‘Get out, tentacle porn! This is MY moment!’ both Thomas and Logic made awkward faces at that.
‘Tentacle porn!’ cackled Remus, hugging his morningstar to his chest. ‘That’s a new one! I love it!’ in despite of how angry he wanted to look, Felix laughed a little.
‘Right? I think it suits you~’ he flirted, before he heard Logan’s cough.
‘What is going on…?’ whispered Thomas to the logical side.
‘Well, to put it simple… that’s another one of your sides.’ He said, fixing his glasses.
‘Ugh, I love when you do that! Is so s e x y, hot teach!’ exclaimed the new side, leaning into the railing and doing a weird thing with his eyelashes.
‘He’s ah…Lust.’ He coughed, blushing a little.
‘Wh-?’
'Let's talk about sex baby, let's talk about you and me, let's talk about all the good things and the bad things that may be, let's talk about sex~'
'come on, do it, uh huh~'
'My name is Felix, but you can call me tonight, hot stuff.' said Lust, winking and making Thomas's mouth go ajar. There was a moment of silence.
'You do realize you just flirted with yourself, right?' said Logan, while Remus wheezed in the background.
'Well, he seems to need a bit of self love… not gonna lie.' defended himself the lustful side.
'Look, guys… I just wanted to talk to Logan and Patton for a little bit so if you don’t mind calling him up…?' offered Thomas.
'Yeah, no. He won’t show up as long as Felix is here.' stated Logan.
'Why not?'
'Daddy seems to be a little afraid of good ol’loving…which is ironic considering he is your heart!' giggled Felix. High fiving Remus.
'What about Roman? Virgil?' pleaded Thomas, clearly not prepared to deal with two dark sides at the same time.
'I’m afraid Roman is still sleeping and Virgil was pretty adamant in being left out of this.'
'Shit.'
'The smartest course of action would be finding Deceit…'
'I’m barely dealing with two dark sides and you want to bring another one of them!?'
'Well…'
'Excuse me! I am no dark side! Roman is a jerk with a stick up his-'
'Butthole!' exclaimed Remus happily.
'Now that’s where I want all the di-'
'STOP, oh God just STOP!' yelled Thomas, covering his ears.
'What is it, Thomas? Feeling a little…horrrrny?' said the lustful side, making Thomas cry out.
'That’s it.' shook his head Logan, done with everything. He raised his hand and suddenly a very disgruntled Roman appeared in Patton’s spot.
'This BETTER be good, Logic.' grunted creativity. ‘You interrupted my beauty sleep.’
'Oh, darling you don’t need any~' purred Lust, making the prince jump in place and shy away from the compliment. Thomas frowned.
'Didn’t you just called him a jerk?' Roman gasped.
'That is in the past! Why don’t you come over here, papacito? ¡Quiero matarte a besos!' exclaimed Felix in spanish, making Roman giggle.
'Do not let that happen...' said Logan, looking at Thomas. 'Roman, you’re on charge while I’m gone… I sure will regret that later…I’ll go get Deceit.'
'Wait! Logan!' exclaimed Thomas. 'Why cant I just summon him or something?' staring at his logical side with a look that clearly spoke please don’t leave me alone with them. But Logan wasn’t having any of it.
'If Deceit was available, you wouldn’t have to deal with this at all.'
'Uh?'
'Deceit tends to hold the others back as long as he can, he is your self-preservation after all.'
'Deceit…does that…for me?'
'Well, of course, Deceit is very akin on protecting you Thomas, even from yourself. I thought that was clear.' He coughed. 'I must be going. Roman.'
'Uh!'
'Do not, engage with Lust.'
'Pfft, who do you take me for?' Logan squinted at him as he sunk down. There was another minute of silence.
'So, about those kisses?~'
'Are you kissing his butthole?'
'I mean if he asks nicely?'
Roman and Thomas looked at eachother for a short terrifying moment.
.
As he sunk down, Logan appeared in the mindscape's living room and headed to the rooms hallway. Just as he passed by Virgil's room, it opened.
'Is the coast clear?' he whispered.
'Which one? You need to be more specific.' answered Logan, still walking.
'Ugh, I meant, is that nymphomaniac still around?' grunted Virgil, walking right behind Logan, as if hiding of potential threats.
'Nymphomaniac is a term used only on fe-' the logical side interrupted himself at the look the anxious side was giving him. 'Right, no. The coast, as you say, isn't clear. In fact, Remus decided to show up.' he didn't miss the shiver in Virgil's body. 'and they are now in the presence of Thomas, Roman is supervising…'
'They are WHAT!?' yelled Virgil, his loud scary voice filling the hallway, showing his uneasiness.
'I know what you're thinking, I'm just on my way of freeing Deceit from Lust's little stunt before anything goes… uh, he's gone. Very well, Roman was going to need a little help anyway.
As he got closer to the yellow door at the less iluminated part of the hallway, Logan could hear noises coming from it. His best bet was that Deceit was trying to get out. As he struggled with the handle Logic discovered he was right.
Just when he managed to open the door Deceit pulled it the other way, which ended up with them both on the floor, Logan on top of Deceit while the former complained.
'Can you not get off!?'
'I apologize, I was only trying to asist-'
'Save it, I don't need to castrate certain someone.'
'I think that's a bit…harsh' said the logical side as he watched Deceit sink down.
.
When they appeared it was to utter chaos. Virgil was yelling at Remus about something they couldn't make sense of because both were using their loud voices. Virgil was in his usual place, replacing Felix in the staircase. Thomas was curling up into a ball on the floor and Felix… Yup. Felix was making out with Roman in the place Patton usually stood. Logan coughed slightly, noone paid him any mind. He looked beside him at Deceit, who was looking pissed ™, and offered him the chance to interrupt.
'You better shUT UP' Logan flinched, massaging his ear. He had never heard Deceit's loud voice and would rather not be present when he happened to use it again. However, it worked wonders.
All the sides instantly stopped doing what they were doing. Virgil flunged himself to the other side of the railing and Remus hid behind his morningstar. Felix jumped out of Roman's arms where he was clinging like a koala and Roman held up his arms as if he had being catch by the police. Both completely disheveled.
Logan sent Roman a look, the prince looked sheepish. Felix however, was as pale as one could get. Thomas stood up, holding his head with one hand.
'I am so glad to see you guys.'
'You.' hissed Deceit, the lustful side left out an eeep sound. 'Are so not dead.' he realized he didn't had his hat and he crossed his arms.
'hahahah Dee! What a surprise!'
'Why weren't you here earlier!?' yelled Virgil, he received a glare from Deceit, who normally portrayed himself as a very calmed person (?).
'This idiot didn't locked me up in my room!'
'Someone's in trouble!~' singsonged Remus.
'Shut up, Remus.' whispered Felix.
'I think its totally your place to shut him up.' hissed again Deceit, eye twitching. Lust inmediatly sealed his lips and made a gesture of locking them up. 'To your room.' said the yellow side.
'Bu-'
'To. Your. Room.' Felix pouted and crossed his arms, but started to sink out inmediatly. Of course not before winking towards Roman one last time.
The moment Lust was out of sight, Patton popped up.
'Whew, that was a close one!' he exclaimed, receiving all sort of expressions from the others.
'Well, I believe that's my cue to leave. Remus, if you please…'
'For sure, double D!. Now I wouldn't miss that carnage for anything! Bye~'
To everyones surprise Remus sank down without putting off a fight. Everyone turned to Deceit who was dusting his cape.
'I am not sorry for that, Thomas. It didn't get out of hand.' said Deceit, looking up. 'It won't happen again.' he started to sink down when Thomas called for him.
'Deceit!' murmured Thomas.
'Yes?' he said, raising an eyebrow.
'Uh, Logan kinda told me you keep the others at bay…?'
'Oh, he didn't said that, did he?' Logan nodded.
'Well yes…and well… Tha…nk you? I don't think I've apreciated what you do enough.' Deceit looked at him surprised, he started to blink really fast and then huffed.
'It's not like I prohibit them to come up here, I merely entretain them so they don't come up here and unsettle you when you're not… in the right mood.' he said, forgetting to lie, without looking at Thomas. 'It hasn't been harder recently, as I have help.' he turned to glare at virgil, who look the other way.
'Exactly, thank you Deceit. For looking out for me.' Thomas smiled at the deceitful side. The yellow side surprised everyone again by blushing.
'Whatever.' he hissed as he sunk down. 'I gotta castrate someone now, if you excuse me…'
'Isn't that a bit harsh…?' murmured Patton.
'Don't worry. They'll grow back.' he said, making everyone shiver. 'Oh, and Roman?'
'Uh?'
'You should clean off the lipstick you have all over your face.' was the last thing he said before he disappeared from sight.
'What!?' yelled Roman, rubbing at his face frantically. 'Is it off? Is it off!?'
'You still have a little bit over here…?' said Virgil, pointing all of Roman's face, much to the other's dismay.
'Alright, I believe I was called to deal with something and that something isn't here anymore so I'll go take all of this thing off. Bye~' and like that, the prince, who didn't have anything on his face in the first place, was gone too.
'I don't understand what happened, Logan.' started Thomas. 'One second there was… uh… Felix, flirting endlessly, Remus kept screaming nonsense but Roman didn't seem to listen or care and the then, Virgil appears and kicks Felix off the stairs-'
'This is my spot, ok!?'
'Of course it is kiddo! We should circle that out!' finger gunned Patton. Logan sighed.
'... And then they're both kissing and touching in places I don't want to think of because believe me watching myself do those things to… myself, wasn't something I needed.'
'Well, we can't blame Roman for that kiddo. Lust tends to be very… convincing.'
'What do you mean…?'
'Just as Virgil has his loud voice and Remus has his…'
'Screech.' offered Virgil.
'... Screech. Lust has a…'
'Sinful.' offered this thime Patton, shivering.
'... Luring voice.' it is impossible for any of us to resist it.' he said, fixing his glasses. 'We are, however, less susceptible to it than Roman.'
'Oh...I see.'
'Deceit is practically immune to it, since he can lie to himself, then Logan, then me, then Patton…' listed Virgil. Patton whined.
'He got me bad last time…'
'Again, nothing to be ashamed of Patton.'
'What about Remus?' Thomas asked, receiving a deadpan from everyone. 'Right, never mind.'
'How are you feeling now, Thomas?' asked Logan, eyebrow raised.
'Way better, this was just…wild.' answered their host.
'It seems that Deceit has everything under control again.' nodded logic.
'It was very nice of you to thank Deceit like that, kiddo. He was so happy! I know we don't show him much love...or at all! Maybe I can make him some waffles!'
'He likes chocolate waffles…' whispered Virgil.
'Awww, alright! I'll make us all chocolate waffles! See ya, kiddo!' exclaimed Patton, sinking down.
'Bye, dad.' smiled Thomas, before a sudden thought crossed his mind, making him frown. 'Wait a second, does Felix calls him Daddy for…?'
'Yeah, he does.'
'A correct assumption.'
'Ugh.'

Fred x reader / Lost
Request: “Here, take me jacket.” - “I told you, I’m not cold.” *shivering* could I request this prompt for fred / reader? maybe it’s before they get together and they just had a big fight and now they’re lost in the woods or something. the fight is huge and then they kiss and admit their feelings :-) thank you! i love your fics! (From anon)
A/n This was actually shorter than I thought but I love it anyway. Thank you for requesting, I loved it. My second request fulfilled today! Requests are still open. So i wrote this instead of studying today (woops) but oh well. I love these prompts so much so please request any you want :) Also this is another first kiss story, they’re so cute to write <3 I know some features of them are similar but they have different storylines and everything (I don’t know i get conscious and critical when I write, ignore me) A/n
Prompts here.
Word count: 2,317
Warnings: Swearing from the beginning.
“Where the fuck are we?!”
“For the thousandth time, I know where we’re going!”
You scoffed at Fred’s sentence knowing he was just as lost as you were. He shot back a glare over his shoulder to you as he continued walking through the dark forest.
“God this place is creepy.” You shuddered as you saw what looked to be a centaur run through the trees. Fred laughed annoyingly.
“Aww do you want me to comfort you?” His tone was patronising as he spoke and it made you want to strangle him. You hit him as hard as you could on the arm as you took the lead, marching in front and as far away from him as possible without separating.
The only reason you were staying with him is because as scary as the forbidden forest was, it was much worse alone. But of all the people, why did you have to be with Fred Weasley?!
“You know it’s your fault we’re here.” You crossed your arms, not looking back at him as you searched for a gap of light to indicate an exit.
“I said I know where we are!” Fred gestured widely, his voice was highly annoyed.
“I don’t mean that, you idiot. I mean you’re the reason we had stupid detention in the first place.” You comments had a tone of bitterness and Fred couldn’t help but laugh sarcastically.
“Oh really?” You nodded obviously at his ridiculous question. “And how’d you reach that conclusion love?”
“Don’t call me love!” You had finally turned to face him, stopping him in his tracks. You were furious as he screwed his face up sarcastically and shrugged. “Ugh, you are the most annoying human being!” He laughed again and to stop yourself punching his smug little face, you turned swiftly back round and began walking aimlessly once again.
“So how exactly is it my fault?” Fred’s voice was mockingly sweet. He blinked his eyes almost innocently. You sighed and rubbed the bridge of your nose. “You were the one who shouted at me and started the whole fight.”
“Only because,” you stopped again and marched up to him, he widened his eyes in surprise. “You covered me and my essay in slime.” Your index finger poked at his chest.
“The essay was an accident!” Fred exclaimed. “Why would I do that when I can copy off of you. Now I’m gonna have to actually do the essay.” Fred was joking and it made your anger both lessen and rise simultaneously.
There had been a long building tension between the two of you for a while, everyone seemed to notice. People had even been betting on whether the tension would end in you two getting together or with one killing the other. It had all seemed to escalate yesterday when Fred and George had decided to play a prank on you. They thought it would be funny to cover you in slime, a magical slime that was hard to remove and stained. You didn’t find it funny especially when you had a test next period and your well crafted herbology essay had been slimed.
The next class you shared with both the twins, you had taken your anger out on Fred. George had at least apologised and helped you clean up. Some harsh words were exchanged along with some pretty explicit swears landing you both in detention for disrupting the class.
Hagrid had initially taken you for detention with fang by his side. You liked Hagrid and could spend most of your time talking to him rather than Fred so it made the detention seem better. But then Fang ran after something before yelping and falling down half way back to the hut and Hagrid had left panicking. He’d told you a list of directions and what to do when you found the missing skrewts and left. It had felt like hours, maybe even days since that happened and you had quickly got lost.
“You know what? That’s it!” You defiantly sat down beside a large tree and hugged your knees to your chest. Fred just furrowed his eyebrows at you. “This is pointless Fred! We’re lost!”
“So what’s your big plan? Wait until someone comes and saves us?!” Fred was now yelling, his joking tone gone as he stared down at you. You only shrugged in response, your tongue in your cheek. Fred rolled his eyes and began searching the area for any attacking creatures. Once he seemed to feel safe enough he sat down next to the adjacent tree and began snapping twigs.
A couple of minutes passed before you started to shiver slightly. You had come out in only a t-shirt thinking it would be a rather quick detention.
You didn’t notice Fred stand and walk to you, neither did you realise the kind smile that crossed his face. “Are you cold?”
You didn’t look up from where you sat as you tried to control your shivering and the goosebumps on your arms. “No.” Your tone was snappish and obvious indicating you didn’t need his help. He gave you a smug knowing look and shrugged off his jacket.
“Here take my jacket.” You finally looked up at him and saw his hand outstretched with his jacket. It looked warm and cosy but you weren’t about to take it, you needed to stick to your principles. So instead you turned you head away from him with an airy huff of annoyance. You heard him give a breathless chuckle that sounded anything but happy. “You’re so stubborn.”
“Yeah?!” Your voice was high pitched as you bit back, still not looking at the taller boy.
“Yeah you are! You won’t even take a damn jacket even though your obviously freezing!”
“I. Said. I’m. Not. Cold!” Your anger had flared to its highest peak as you spat the words out through gritted teeth. A shiver ran through your body defeating your point. Fred smiled knowingly. “Anyway it’s not as bad as you being a self-cantered arsehole!” Fred looked outraged, you stood up to face him properly. The anger in your eyes matching his.
“You know what your annoying as fuck! You think your so entitled to everything that you don’t even see what you have!” You had never seen Fred this angry before, it was highly intimidating but you weren’t backing down.
“What’s that supposed to mean?!” You were yelling so loud you were sure that Hagrid could hear you from his hut.
“It means that-!” And suddenly Fred was backing down, the anger in his eyes turned to something more nervous and he was retreating from where you had been stood closely together.
You raised your eyebrow as if to say continue but he just looked away from you entirely. “Nothing it- it means nothing.”
“No say it.” You didn’t mean to come off as demanding anymore but this wasn’t over. You needed to know what he meant, mainly out of curiosity. “What did you mean Fred?!”
Fred looked up to meet your eyes as you stared him down. “I’m in love with you okay!” Fred’s voice was loud through the silence of the forest. You watched, speechless as his nervousness turned again into annoyance. “And it’s so infuriating that you don’t even see that!”
“Fred, I didn’t know-“ your voice had lowered significantly as you watched Fred’s annoyed face look anywhere but at you. Your mind whirred with his confession. Your heart not being sure what to do raced faster, thudding inside your chest.
“Of course you didn’t! How could you when you hardly talk to me and if you do it’s to scream at me?!” His yelling words hurt because you knew they were true. You tended to guard yourself whenever you got close to someone and it usually ended with you pushing them away until they hated you. The minute you had begun to realise you had feelings towards Fred you stopped talking to and avoided him whenever possible. It made you sad as you pulled away from his friendship, you considered him one of your only and best friends but you had to remind yourself of the retching feeling of heartache. Part of you knew that Fred was different but you couldn't let it happen, not again.
You met Fred’s eyes with an intensity, you didn’t know what was happening as you crossed the short distance between the both of you and kissed him, every thought flying out of your head at your impulsive action. Fred froze on the spot, his eyes wide. You pulled back pretty quickly, a panic rising in your chest at your unrequited action.
“What are you doing?” Fred’s voice was dazed and he looked confused with wide eyes, like a deer in headlights. You decided to play it confident, even though you felt anything but.
“Kissing you, you idiot!” You smiled at him as he just laughed before leaning in himself to kiss you properly. You pulled him closer as his hand rested on your head doing the same until your chests were pressed against each other, impossibly close. The kiss was deepened as Fred’s tongue traced your bottom lip, asking for permission to enter which you granted by opening your mouth a little more and pushing your tongue against his. You pushed Fred up against a large towering tree and pulled back, smiling mischievously at him.
“By the way, all that entitled, stubborn bitch and self centred arsehole stuff?” Fred looked guilty at your questioning tone before he quirked an eyebrow. “Forgotten?” You smiled hopefully at him as he smirked and nodded.
“Definitely, now shut up.” You were about to protest jokingly but was stopped by Fred kissing you again. The forest soon seemed to fade away from you as you focused on the intensity of the kiss, trying to hold your breath for as long as possible so you wouldn’t have to part.
The sound of a twig cracking under a heavy foot made you pull away from Fred’s lips. He looked confused as he tried to chase the taste of your lips again. You smacked his chest lightly as you looked around. Fred noticed the panic in your eyes and rubbed a hand comfortingly on your arm. You pulled your wand out and stepped away to hold it in front of you. Fred did the same.
“I’m gonna go have a look okay? Maybe see if I can find Hagrid.” Fred spoke confidently as he made to walk away, he was trying to act like a brave knight but no way were you letting him leave you. You reached out for his wrist and pulled him back.
You looked at him with pleading eyes that read ‘don’t leave me’. “You’re gonna leave me alone?!” Your teeth gritted together.
You started to feel annoyance towards him again as you thought about sitting alone, just waiting to be eaten. Fred just smiled as reassuringly as he could. “I won’t be long and I won’t go far.” You still felt thoroughly unsure, your annoyance turned into fear as another twig snapped. You shook your head quickly and held on tighter to Fred’s hand. He couldn’t leave you here.
Fred just nodded and before he knew it, you had rushed into his arms as a tall figure came towards you through the darkness. Fred’s own fear stopped his smile from showing at the contact.
“Well there you two are! I’ve been looking for the both of you!” Hagrid’s cheery voice was a welcome sound to your ears as his bushy hair and beard came into focus. You felt Fred’s breath exhale with relief as did your own.
“Hagrid, thank Merlin!” Fred rushed over to the half giant and almost hugged him in relief. Hagrid gave a booming laugh as you explained Fred had got you both lost to which Fred responded with a glare. You laughed it off and he couldn’t help but smile. All the annoyance and tension fading from your now joke-filled arguments.
You picked up Fred’s jacket from where he had laid it out for you next to the tree as Hagrid began to lead the way out of the forest.
You gave a dramatised shiver as a harsh wind blew through the trees. Hagrid began telling you about fang but you didn’t listen. You wrapped the slightly oversized jacket over your shoulders. It was so warm and cosy, exactly as you had thought it would be. You unconsciously sniffed the material and smelled a scent that could only be described as Fred. Although he was annoying as all hell, he was also pretty sweet. A thought which you would never say aloud to him, he had a big enough head as it was.
“Is that my jacket?” Fred inquired with a smug smile and a playful nudge as you walked alongside him. You turned your head to him with an inescapable smirk on your face.
“No.” You fought your best efforts not to laugh with him as Fred chuckled beside you and reached down to grab your swinging hand.
“It looks good on you.” Fred’s voice was cheerful as though professing his feelings for you had lifted the tense weight off of him. You smiled, squeezing his hand.
Once you had finally exited the forest, Hagrid insisted on having you both for tea. You accepted not wanting to be rude and went inside the warm hut. Fang seemed to be recovering on an armchair near the fire as you sipped your tea. Fred shot you sly looks whenever Hagrid wasn’t looking and you shook your head amusedly.
You both drew the line as Hagrid offered up his rock cakes, excusing yourself for dinner in the great hall as you looked at the time.
But somehow you still managed to arrive late to dinner, a fact which didn’t go unnoticed by George and Lee Jordan. They both narrowed their eyes before smirking at your messy looks. Fred’s tie was loosened as though it had been pulled, one of his buttons was incorrectly done up and his hair stuck up in various directions. And although you looked more put together, your lips were red and swollen and you were sporting a heavy red blush that reached all down your neck blending with other red marks left there.
As you sat down opposite them, they both gave you knowing smiles to which you just started to load your plate with food, ignoring them. Fred did the same.
“5 sickles please.” George held his hand out expectantly towards Lee who sighed and dug into his pocket. He pulled out 5 silver coins and put them in George’s waiting hand. You glared at George who thanked the both of you embarrassingly with a smug, unwavering smile.

For the fanfic prompts: FAMETHYST ROAD TRIP
HI THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE!!! I really enjoyed writing this and I hope you like it!
Amethyst sat perched on 8XL’s shoulders, surrounded by gemsfrom her own column.
For once, she was the center of attention that didn’t involvebeing reprimanded or talked over or treated like she didn’t know anything, which wasn’t her fault. They may have been older and more experienced than her,not to mention taller, but they treated her like an equal. They laughed and jokedwith her, they even understood some of her human references! It was better thanshe ever imagined it would be, gazing at that silent, empty holes for thousandsof years wondering what sort of beings occupied them.
It felt so good, she wanted cry. Cry and laugh. Jeez, she wassuch a sap. As the conversation died down, Amethyst hugged Elle’s head, smilingthrough the tightness in her throat. Her column mate, her sister, right there, they’re all there.
Seeming to sense Amethyst’s tangle of emotions, Elle reachedup to give her arm a sympathetic pat. “Hey Em, you doing alright up there?”
A sniffle escaped. “Y-yeah,” she replied, burying her face inthe larger gem’s hair. “I’m just being a baby.”
They were going on a special trek to the Prime Kindergarten, taking the scenic route instead of the warp pad, just Amethyst and her column. The other Crystal Gems had reservations about letting a group of rowdy Quartzesroam the countryside, but for once they listened when Amethyst vouched for hercolumn. That wasn’t to say there weren’t objections—after all, she barely knewthese gems—but trusting them seemed to be preferable to keeping all of themgathered on the beach.
Seeing as 12 full-sized Quartzes and one half-sized onecouldn’t very well sneak onto a moving train, they settled with the hike. It wasfine, that just meant more time for her to get to know her family better.
Elle was the leader, that much was certain, but Kay—the onewith the sharp teeth—was pretty influential in the group, as well. Her and Elledidn’t get along sometimes. Gee and Jay were the closest; everyone joked thatit was because they both had amazing hair. Aye was the oldest by a smallmargin, but she never let anyone forget it, certainly not her column mate, Bee.Eye was the most serious, as well as the most quiet, but Gee told her it wasjust because she missed Bandit, the Jasper from Beta she was “friends” with. She didn’t seem to appreciate the teasing that followed at her expense.
And that was just the beginning. These were gems that hadspent thousands of years together, confined to that space station with nothingbut each other’s company and the humans. As entertaining as it was to hear alltheir antics, it made Amethyst feel a little left out, like she had missed onsomething, even though she certainly wouldn’t have wanted to experience whatthey had. She missed out on so much, though.
There were endless fields leading to Prime, flourishing withlife that would eventually be reduced to dust as they approached the barrenwasteland of Prime. Always a sore spot, it was nice to travel with gems thatheld the same attachment to the place, so she didn’t have to feel guilty abouther excitement at returning to her original home. She enjoyed hearing them recountstories of when they first emerged, with Amethyst chiming in with her owncommentary about the odd Rose Quartz soldier they met that day, a.k.a. Pink Diamond.
“I still can’t believe it,” Elle admitted, rubbing her facewearily. “I actually talked to her and didn’t…and then she…ugh, I didn’t askfor all this shale. Why is everything more complicated than it looks?”
“I’ve been asking myself the same question. Heck, I didn’teven learn much about the war until years after Steven was born, let alone Pinkand all that jazz. No one tells me anything around here. Heh,” she chuckled ruefully,“I guess Stevo’s better at asking questions than I am.”
Instead of placating her and saying it wasn’t true, the restof the group affirmed that they too were terrible at investigating deeper thannecessary. Somehow, that was far more reassuring.
A while later, the sun began to dip towards the east, creatinga dazzling display along the horizon. It would be dark by the time they got to thekindergarten, but Amethyst could already see a hint of purple just beyond therolling hills they traveled alongside from her perch on Elle’s shoulder.Figuring Prime wasn’t going anywhere soon—and neither were their fellowkindergarten mates—the Amethysts decided to stop and admire their home for abit.
Bee squinted in the sunlight. “What’s that?” She asked, pointingto the neat, rainbow rows that resembled nothing they passed so far on their journey.
“Oh, that’s Peridot’s latest project,” Amethyst replied, grinning proudly for her companion. “Since she can’t grow anything in thekindergarten, she likes to plant flowers and stuff around it to make the placelook nicer. ‘Course, she has to make it nice and organized and bigger than allthe other plots around here.”
“That Era-2 did all this?”
“Is that another one of her special powers, or did she justplant them like that?”
“A K-Tech interested in growing organic stuff? Now that’s what I call irony.”
“Is there anything we should do?” Bee asked, rolling her eyesat her companions’ rude questions. “I don’t wanna mess her stuff up. It looks awesomefrom over here, I can only imagine how great it is up close.”
“Just don’t touch anything, or else you’ll have to face her ‘unbridledrage’ and ‘eternal hatred’ that lasts all of 20 minutes.” Amethyst rubbed theback of her neck sheepishly, having made this mistake more than once. “Weshould go check it out later. I bet Dot’ll wanna give you all the grand tourpersonally.”
She was pleased to hear the excitement that rippled throughthe group at the prospect of seeing Peridot’s handwork. That little nerddeserved all the attention she could possibly want, which was a lot. No wantingto spoil too much of the surprise, Amethyst refused to answer any more questionson the subject, enjoying the dismayed protests that followed.
When it was time to get moving again, Elle and Kay got intoan argument over who would carry 8XM around, as if she didn’t have two feet ofher own.
“I emerged closest! We’re practically…what did you call us,Em?”
“Sisters,” Amethyst replied, amused. “But dude, ya know youcan have more than one, right?”
“Yeah, exactly!” Kay responded like she already knew this.
It went back and forth like this for half an hour, while therest of the column watched in bemused silence. Clearly, they were used to it. Suddenlyanxious to get moving again, to see the place filled more Amethysts than shecould have ever imagined, she decided to intervene and make a compromise: shewould walk between them.
It was well past sunset when they finally arrived, greenfields reduced to purply gray dust. Recently, Amethyst had grown to think of Primeas like a bruise on the Earth’s surface, by color and by the damage inflicted, but hearing the excited gasps all around her was like music to her ears. Thereit was, in all its nighttime gloryinjectors glowing magenta against the dark rock—withfamiliar voices echoing off its smooth cliffs: The Prime kindergarten.
Without thinking, Amethyst grabbed Elle’s hand, who squeezedit in return, sparing her a little bit of the embarrassment for having donesomething so…soft, and childish. With her other hand, she reached towards Kay,not wanting her to feel left out, which Kay snatched up without hesitation. Shewas waiting for it.
“Well, are we gonna keep ‘em waiting or what?” Amethystcalled, leading the way home.
