"Water types? What water types can I find around here? I don't remember seeing any water types around?" Yuki looked at his mom confused about what Water types were around here. He wasn't against using one thought.

"So only from Mom's side. I'm interested in knowing more, but it does make me wonder what about dad's side. I never hear anything from it," Merric really wasn't aware that Alter didn't have a family, and the only people Alter could count as family he hated.

Merric didn't know anything about the whole conversation about fruitful, or his mom's reaction. He only walked closer to his grandma ready for the heading to the halls of records. He was curious about what stories he would hear from his grandma.

"Melody is Ibuki's child and my sister. Talyse is the head maid. I think she is something called a twin? Sometimes I've run into her, and she says her name isn't Taylse. Its Lely," The crown princess replied and again he had no idea what he just said.

Sonia calls out to him, hoping that he can prepare for her arrival. Sonia told him about her mother wanting to meet him a few months ago and once winter festivities had concluded she found time in her schedule to pay the couple a visit.

Alter looked up from where he was playing with Merric and Yuki. He was keeping a eye on his eldest children. He turned to look at Sonia giving a confused look for a moment. "Wait a minute? Did you say she's arriving at the place today? She doesn't live here. That maid lied to me,"

"Yay Grandma gonna be here," Merric held his knight toy in his hand, and then ran over to his mom. Hugging her leg as he looked up at her. "When is grandma gonna be here?"

Yuki gave an indignant squeak "You can't eat spudd. That's my fren." she pouted at him.

Yuki chirped softly at Gunmar, wobbling a little still trying to figure out how to move with all the extra fluff. she was covered in down feathers, what had been hair or fur was now long irridescent feathers of the same color. seems she got slapped with some brand of spell and now looked even more helpless than usual.

Gunmar took a step toward her, then recoiled, lifting an arm to shield his mouth and nose.

She had Featherpox! Just like the quarentined soldier in the barracks.

"Yuki! Be still!" Gunmar growled, his spine as tense as an iron bar.

Space Themed Claw machine ✨

@complete-idiot-inc Yukimi definitely was, yes, although it's been speculated that Kotone and Seiji may have been planned to as well, prior to the game's change from a sequel to a spinoff during development.

Thinking about it, though, there is a Revelation Card called Freedom (自由), written the same way that Seiji's Arcana is in the text files, which seems to correspond to the Queen of Swords. There isn't one with the name Glory (荣耀) like Kotone yet, but there are still a few face cards we don't know the names of yet either, and some of the non-face cards also use slightly different words in Chinese than they do in English.

So it's possible that they were intended to have minor arcana as their Arcana? Considering the Arcana they gave Ruferu and Motoha (and the fact that Joker was labeled as "Trickster" instead of Fool), it sort of feels like they were avoiding duplicates with the original Phantom Thieves, so I don't think they were intended as alternate names for existing Arcana. Still, though, it's difficult to say anything for certain.

@lostamber That is technically true, yes! I didn't include that here because it seems like a weird outlier that's a bit trickier to consider "canon".

The above characters' Arcana are listed in the text data for them within the actual open beta, official version of the game- for whatever reason, even though Arcana aren't actually present in the game, that data has been preserved in the files. Reo, however, does not have an Arcana indicated in these text files anywhere.

While the card found for him in the first beta's files was labeled Star, it uses what's clearly concept art for his Persona, and outdated art for Leon himself, and was removed from all versions of the game after that. Between not being in the text files, using unfinished concepts, and vanishing after the first beta, then, it's difficult to say whether this was just an early idea tossed around during his development. It may never have been canon at all, only a concept, if so.

So that's why I didn't list it here with the others, despite there being an image that refers to him as the Star! But you make a fair point that there was something in the files once that indicated an Arcana for him, as well.

What are the arcanas in the files for the other characters?

Unfortunately, the arcana I've posted are the only ones listed in the files, no one else has one. :(

So the only canon ones that we know are: Wonder is the Fool (unsurprisingly), Ruferu is Hope, Motoha is Strength, Yukimi is Judgement, Seiji is Freedom, and Kotone is Glory.
