I’m confused: what’s this argument about Raeda being married?

It's a LONG story, those who are tired of hearing about it should just scroll pass this

A lot fans were hoping the series would end with Raeda being married due to a joke someone on the crew made about the show ending with a wedding.

Also because of this interaction Dana had with an animator after Eda's Requiem came out

People thought this either meant Raeda would die in the end or be okay and get married (because of the joke previously mentioned)

They didn't ofc.

But shortly after the finale the crew did a livestream where they answer questions. Someone asked if Raeda was married in the Epilogue

Dana wouldn't answer ("Eda and Raine's business is their own business") but then also went on about how "Not all love stories end in marriage. Some begin at marriage, some continue after marriage, and some don't get married at all".

So people took this to mean it's confirmed they DON'T get married and parroted that throughout the fandom.

Suddenly everyone did a 180 and decided Raeda not wanted to get married is actually super revolutionary and shamed those who still wanted Raeda to get married/upset they weren't

And of course ignoring any actual criticism like that them not liking marriage was never a point in the show and people wanted them to have gotten married offscreen in the first place because they're was never any real conclusion after everything they went through.

(You don't see fans complaining a couple Bubbline aren't married because even though their relationship went through a lot of bad things like Raeda. You actually saw their relationship development and grow, they werent just constantly being put through hell for no reason, and they actually had a resolution.)

when they get a lead on what to do next - find this guy called halsin bc he might have a cure for their worms, but this priestess called glut might be able to help too - and don’t forget abt the crèche ofc - he laments to her one night about how he’s so admiring the stars, it might be the last day of their little adventure and it’s SUCH a shame bc he’s starting to regard her. she’s running her hands through her hair, half listening to him, and he goes on about how she’s starting to impress him, what are you going to do after this is all done? she gives brief I’m going home. he’s like oh, to that faraway place no one has even heard about home or the underdark home? she glares at him again, he’s like easy we’re just talking gosh. he’s like it’s a SHAME that you’ll be leaving, we could’ve had fun together. she snorts at that, and he presses on - I might MISS you even. we could’ve had fun together. or maybe could? 🤔🤭 if you’re catching my drift. she pays attention to him now, calls his bluff and she’s like ok lets go then. he’s like hm i didn’t expect that - recomposes himself he’s like probably not now but LATER 🤭 then hehe. she’s like whatever why am I hanging out with this guy…..tries to scuffle away but she’s VERY aware of how he’s been trying to fish info for her so she’s gonna hang out with him less 👎

Why is everyone so obsessed with Clarisse le rue now? I remember when I first got into Percy Jackson no one was interested in her.

Valentine's day isn't really a thing in OoS. But I think there'd be a day where Hana would make chocolates and just give them to people around town. Only Hana.

Hana can cook and bake actually. Though she's kinda bad at cooking... and okay at baking. So she prefers baking. But womp womp... doesn't like sweets. The result is a lot of bread and a lot of "extra" sweets. It's not like she enjoys doing it so she can give her guild things... or anything. Especially not because the first time she made bread in front of Alope, Alope got so excited watching her that it gave her motivation to randomly give her loaves of it to eat with their breakfast.

i see a lot of criticism towards 17776 along the lines of “ugh if humanity actually stopped aging or dying and people really did just live forever they would not spend their time playing football… that is not what EYE would do with MY time…. this is so unrealistic….. clearly the author just wanted to write about sports 🙄😒” and like. yeah. yes. exactly. jon bois is a sports writer and sports analyst who wanted to examine why people love sports and why sports have cultural staying power and why he especially finds sports compelling and what sports have to say about the human condition and our ability to care. so he made up a fake scenario about humans being immortal and then he made it about sports. and he wrote about sports. the story is titled ‘what sports will look like in the future.’ if that isn’t something that you can vibe with then maybe the story simply is not for you
