Cool but at its smallest the amount of people diagnosed with DID is 1.5% of the world, already bigger than the recorded % of autistic people, transgender people, and gingers, but still lower than the amount of recorded intersex people. You also are not considering OSDD, which even on the low end of the spectrum, is about 6% of the world, 8.5% on the higher end.

So when combining OSDD and DID together to somewhat determine the % of systems in general that are in the world, it ranges from 7.5% to 10% of the world.

If those percentages alone do not convince you, here is each percentage I just listed as the actual numbers to help you realize how big these numbers actually are: note that this is all approximated whilst using 2022's record for the world population, so results may vary or be mildly outdated.

1.5% (DID's world percentage) = 119,265,000 people

6% (Low End of OSDD's world percentage) = 477,060,000 people

8.5% (High End of OSDD's world percentage) = 675,835,000 people

7.5% (Minimum percentage of systems, combining OSDD and DID systems) 596,325,000 people

10% (Maximum percentage of systems, combining OSDD and DID systems) = 795,100,000 people

You gloat on how DID is only 1% and such a teeny weeny population, yet you never actually calculate how big 1 percent of the entire world is. Even if it was 0.5%, it's still pretty big, as you can already see with 1% of the world population. With the percentage of the world population with DID alone, it is bigger than the system tik tok community, system tumblr community, system youtube community, and any other community for systems combined. Get a better excuse to fakeclaim and verbally abuse disabled people online, thank you.

okay, so… thinking abt this further because i saw the most egregious examples of this today on youtube and the sheer disgust has just not left me quite yet.

i hate, hate, hate all the stupid little tiktok censorship words/phrases with a passion. like, they genuinely invoke some kind of rage in me if the context is serious enough. it really wouldn’t matter much if they were contained to that app (bc i simply don’t have it anymore), but w the way ts has spread… downright demonic.

and i know why it’s, like, a thing. because yadda yadda your videos get shadowbanned yadda yadda they get taken down. ok yeah. whatever. sucks for yall.

but if you’re gonna come onto another platform that doesn’t do all that mess and start throwing ts around there… you have zero business talking abt whatever it is you’re dancing around at all. none whatsoever.

like i literally do not care if that ‘affects your reach’ anywhere else. that doesn’t matter. it literally doesn’t. suck it up! because at the end of the day, that is absolutely not an excuse to come into, like, the comments section of a news report of a real life crime and say shit like ‘the victim was lured to her unaliving’ or ‘the unaliver’s father is a convicted grapist pdf file so(ffender) arrested for possession of corn-’ like it’s normal and a-okay and doesn’t absolutely make light of a real, horrific situation.

a needed update:

i would have updated on saturday but life decided to throw one last curveball at me :'). that said, i apologize for my sudden silence but life comes first

on tuesday my father suffered not one but two major heart attacks, and we nearly lost him in the er. on top of that he had 100% blockage to his heart; no oxygen to it, nor could it pump blood. it has been immensely hard to deal with, cope and what else. he's thankfully doing much better now but the scare is still there and always a concern now.

he was meant to come home on saturday morning, but life decided to be cruel one last time. around 5am lightning struck a tree near my house, causing it fall. it took down the power and cable lines to my house and .......... struck and crushed my dad's car. definitely an unneeded stress for me and my mother + my dad. i didn't get power back to roughly early afternoon yesterday.

please give me some patience as i slowly try to get back into the swing of things. now that he's home i'll likely have to act somewhat as a caregiver for a bit to him as he's unable to do much due to dr's orders.

It moves slowly especially in the first 2-3 episodes but, at least to me, not in a boring way but in a ‘creating tension’ way and boy does it pay off. Except that….it sort of doesn’t

Meaning it absolutely starts to take off and you’re suddenly SO on the hook and then…well it was canceled after episode 8.

I have literally never been motivated to WRITE fanfic before. I have wanted more of a media franchise and gone to ao3 to READ loads of fanfic, but this is the first show that made me go “I viscerally need to explore this universe creatively”

So if you’re already the sort to write fanfic, this show will probably be like straight cocaine to you.
