in vore world, different technologies were developed in order to meet the needs of the people living in it:

Artificial stomach liner. A thin, slightly elastic membrane which is inserted into the stomach of a predator. It is acid proof (or other versions are digestible, if left inside for long enough).

The purpose is to protect prey from the harsh climate of the stomach, by providing a barrier between the acids and the prey.

The stomach liner has semi-firm structural ridges so that it can maintain a round shape so it doesnt stick to the prey.

The easiest way to use this device is to put the prey inside it prior to consumption. But there are other, more difficult ways to go about it

The artificial stomach lining gives prey a better chance at surviving recreational vore. Though a pred's stomach may feel confused upon enountering this.

Anyways I feel like it's usually the first stomach that's safe in mer/naga/centaur vore so I wanted to change it up a little bit.

Also felt like it made a bit more sense for Alon's bigger stomach to be for storing stuff yk?

This does make it so they can only digest one person at a time because of the lack of room in their first stomach, but I really like it that way I think, gotta wait ur turn.

Quick little thing about what the 'soft vore' and 'safe vore' tags actually mean

Recently I've seen some folks assuming the 'soft vore' and 'safe vore' tags are exclusively cuddly and nons3xual, so I feel like it's important to let you guys know they're not. Soft vore just means prey is swallowed whole, not that they'll live. Safe vore can include fearplay, blood, injuries, and even mild digestion so long as the prey survives in the end.

I understand the assumption that the tags are exclusively wholesome since most of the nonsexual community (including myself) use them and that's perfectly fine, but they're really just descriptors that tell you what the post contains. You can have digestion in the soft vore tag since the two aren't mutually exclusive, and sometimes a story or art piece might even contain both soft and hard, or safe and fatal vore. Explicit material can also exist within the tags, because 'safe vore' and 'soft vore' have no inherent nons3xual connotations. Now that's not to say there isn't an issue with tag spamming or mistagging in the vore community, and for that all I can say is filter tags and post content as liberally as you can and use the block button frequently. It sucks to see triggering content, it really does, especially if it's untagged. I recently had to deal with some pretty bad stuff myself, so I understand. But at the same time, the vore community contains a lot of people whose tastes may not align with yours or fit neatly into specific boxes, and that's okay! Just filter and block where you can.

There ARE new tags that some members of the community use for exclusively wholesome nons3xual vore and that's awesome, but soft vore and safe vore are not, and never really were, those tags. Tldr; Soft vore and safe vore are just tags that tell you if there's chewing or not and if the prey lives or not. They're not exclusively fluffy, they're not nons3xual, and they can be paired with more violent tags if the content contains both themes.

really fun fact is that a cow is a ruminant - a group of mammals who have four stomachs (or more accurately stomach chambers)

And so if you want a pred who has a bunch of guts to fill there's actually a lot of different animals you can base them off of, not just cows >:)! There are sheep, deer, goats and giraffes too! (Or you could always make a fictional creature ofc lol)

Then there's camelids! A modified ruminant with only three stomachs/stomach chambers- alpaca, camels and llamas, so even more options there :)!

ANYWAYS, yes, cow type preds are amazing, I love them, and not exactly a cow but here's a gentle Yak pred with a couple of bunnies in their storage bellies and some grass in the others, and a not so gentle bonus alpaca pred.

New silly guy!!! Inspired by a comment from @the-sussy-imposter2 about big ol golden retriever preds that are basically cryptids. Big guy with lots of fur = best hugs ever, inside and out :3! Don’t have a name for this guy, but he lives in the forest, loves marshmallows, and adores having little buddies to cuddle with. I’ll leave naming rights to @the-sussy-imposter2 if they want, since they were the one to give me the idea!
