i'm a fan of how show!annabeth putting percy off at first because she's so in her head and so focused on her own plans and ideas that she either doesn't consider or doesn't prioritise his feelings is a genuine depiction of neurodivergent people (including, but not exclusive to, children) struggling with friendships and empathy. because that's a part of it that you don't see depicted often for being less palatable and sympathetic to a neurotypical audience but it's a huge part of it

the adhd representation and how it intersects with gender is honestly brilliant. percy gets to be an inattentive daydreamer instead of bouncing off the walls like people think adhd boys have to be, and annabeth gets to look like a bit of an asshole for a while instead of just being harmlessly weird and quirky like people think adhd girls have to be

I know a lot of people have complained about the hades portrayal in the pjo show but like the way I see it is this might just be one of the ways he portrays himself? Maybe a way to make percy feel more at ease so he’ll give the helm back? It doesn’t necessarily mean that hades can’t be absolutely terrifying as well.

Regardless I’d much rather have this hades than the literal hitler comparisons t b h

a couple of demigods are just hanging around camp half-blood having a casual conversation and maybe they say something mildly blasphemous so zeus angrily rumbles some thunder about it. percy directly addresses the sky like "dude don't you have better things to do than spy on teenagers? weirdo" and then goes back to his mild blasphemy. hermes and poseidon look like they're trying not to laugh which only tempts zeus to smite the smartass child down even more
