WRENCH || RACE/ARMORED OUTFIT

Decided to make a race outfit for my Wrench design!!! I headcannon that Wrench doesn’t really race (because in most productions he doesn’t) and mainly wears this outfit to fix trains on the track. When a really bad crash happens he’s right there to get the train to safety and begin to fix them up, and obviously since he’s going right into the action, he needs extra protection!!! If you have any requests for other Wrench outfits just drop them below :3

currently thinking about the last Curtis brothers scene in the show and how Darry is on the ground, trying to get Ponyboy to look at him. He tells Pony that they’re grieving too, mom, dad, dally, and johnny but Pony’s gotta keep going because he has a future. Do you think for a split, selfish second, while looking at Pony, it hits Darry how much he’s relieved it wasn’t Ponyboy who died in that fire. That he gets to still hug his little brother every night when Johnny and Dally weren’t given that same fate. Then guilt fills his chest, because of course he wishes his buddies were still here. They were kids, none of them deserved to die. But he can’t help but feel that being relieved Pony made it when Johnny didn’t, makes him selfish and a horrible person.

i hope that makes sense. it came to me in a dream.
