Honestly, attachment to sex rather than gender as a social construction won't create a utopia without the subjugation of one's presentation, background, or experience from existing. In any case where another muse becomes especially close to Miranda, I feel like they will have to get used to the thought and the knowledge that Miranda will probably be pretty emotionally dependent for them for the rest of her life. It goes back to how merfolk are hypersocial — to them, these intense and extremely close and emotionally dependent relationships are normal and just a part of how their brains work, and Miranda's not any different from that.

Even moreso because she missed a lot of her crucial developmental milestones for relationships for merfolk, and that's just not something she's going to get back. Her and Bellanda are probably going to have lifelong preferences for smaller emotional circles and higher requirements for moving between them, and be especially dependent on very few people at a time.

In any good ending where she has a happier, better future, that's going to involve Bellanda and one or two other people who are a part of their miivt'ia, living and doing basically everything together, and it's going to be very hard to get any of them alone for very long. It's just a way of how their natures got impacted by their lifelong trauma, and more brief or impersonal relationships are just not going to be prioritized in the slightest.

garden variety conservative transphobia is going to get worse but radical feminism is also going to get worse. if youre a cis women terfs are going to try to recruit you and make you believe that the reason your rights are at stake is because of trans people. they're going to tell you that all men are your violent oppressors and they're going to include trans women in that category. they're gonna tell you about women who are gender traitors and joined the enemy and they're going to point to trans men. don't believe them. trans people are not your enemy, we have no power over you, and we desperately need your support and your solidarity.

be aware of radfem pipelines and dog whistles too. be skeptical of anyone that talks about the divine feminine or correlates birthing, menstruating, or female reproductive organs with womanhood. be especially skeptical of people who use those biological things as reasons to why women are more spiritual, or more in tune with nature, or just that they're better than men (read: anyone they decide is a man)

radical feminism is an expected reactionary outcome from cis women who are being oppressed by conservatives, especially when all they practice is ciscentric, liberal, white feminism. they feel the need to be radicalized but don't have the experience and information to pinpoint the true source of their suffering. trans people are not your enemy, AMAB people are not your enemy, anyone who identifies as a man is not your enemy. we're all being crushed under the same stone

ik we talk about "karma" in the sense of "whatever you do will come back to bite you", but in a more realistic sense it just means action. every action has a reaction, etc. which is why its incorrect to blame your god/gods for the way you're mistreated in life bc 1. everyone has free-will and 2. they dont have control over the wheel of karma (at least not in hinduism), so when you're mistreated, you shouldn't ask "what have I done to accrue karma in the form of mistreatment" you should ask "why do these people suck so much", lol. it's not your god/gods punishing you, its other people exercising their free will and choosing to use it in a way that makes them suck as human beings 🤷 dont let people get off the hook by blaming the gods or some sort of nebulous "karma" you cant pin down, blame the people for being pieces of shits, dont let them think they're not actors in this and are just dutifully mistreating you on behalf of the laws of karma, bc they aren't, thats not how karma fucking works.
