How is the relationship between Kazemi, Maria and Yui?
Well, canonically Maria and Kazemi never actually met. Kazemi grew up at the church with Yui, Maria only meets Yui at the Sakamaki's house.
Maria's and Kazemi's routes happen in different timelines, so they won't meet each other there.
In tumblr though, I would say the three are good friends. Kazemi and Yui treat each other like sisters while Maria and Yui support each other as much as they can.
Maria and Kazemi have a bit of a hard time hanging out since both are a bit awkward to start conversations, but they do enjoy spending time together when they manage it.

hello!! i saw the tags on your pinned post abt how shoujo wasn't just romance and it got me curious bc i've read some nice shoujo but really dislike romance-heavy plots. are there any shoujos you like that don't have much or any romance in them? ty and i hope you have a good day! 💛
Oh, there are lots of mangas that are classified as shoujo and don't have romance!!
I am just now beginning my journey through shoujo as well, so I don't have a lot of recommendations for stuff I actually read, but the ones I did read or watch so far are:
Natsume Yuujinchou and basically anything else by its author, Yuki Midorikawa. Sometimes, her works do include romance, but the focus is almost always in the interpersonal relationships and the difficulties her characters go through in life. NatsuYuu is about an orphan boy who can see yokai, and for that reason he acts in "weird" ways and his foster families dislike him, so he keeps going from family to family. The story is about how he finds a good family who accepts and loves him, makes friends, and learns to make friends even with yokais.
There are currently 6 anime seasons out, and a 7th season is on its way, so you can either read the manga or watch the anime.
Tumblr media
Akatsuki no Yona - i mean, this one does include romance, but i'll still put it on the list because as far as the anime went the focus is heavy on Yona's actual journey to gather the dragons of legend to be able to recover the kingdom that was stolen from her. It shows how Yona goes from a sheltered spoiled girl to a person befitting the title of dragon king.
Tumblr media
My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom - this one is the og villainess isekai and it truly deserves the hype. It is about a girl who wakes up in the child body of the villainess of her favorite otome game. She remembers that the villainess' fate in the game was always either death or exile, so she tries her hardest to change her fate. This one is classified as a reverse harem, but the main character is pretty oblivious and worries more about farming and eating sweets and generally being the best girl ever than actually worrying about romance. Aro ace queen tbh. And her harem is just happy to be with her and be dragged along for her stupid adventures. Plus, the female members of her harem are taken seriously as well, Mary is a raging lesbian and it is not subtext. I mean, it is a shoujo, so of course the female characters would be important lol.
Tumblr media
Usagi Drop - listen to me. You will absolutely not look for anything related to this manga. If you like the premise you can watch the anime. But, please, do not look for the manga. You will only be extremely disappointed by it. That being said, I recommend the anime. It is about a man who returns home for his grandfather's funeral and then finds out his grandfather had an illegitimate daughter who has now become an orphan. He ends up having to take care of her because the rest of the family considers her a shame to the family.
Tumblr media
Now, for the stuff I havent seen yet, I'll just write some that are on my "plan to read" list and put their genres next to their names so you can check it out if you think the genre's sound interesting:
7 Seeds (drama, horror, psychological, sci fi, survival)
Requiem of the Rose King (drama, historical, supernatural, gender identity)
Basara (drama, fantasy, adventure) (i think this one has romance, but from what i've heard, the main character's story is a lot deeper as she takes her brother's identity in order to fight against the king who killed her brother, it is pretty famous and considered a classic)
Ghost Hunt (horror, mystery, psychological, supernatural)
Helter Skelter (horror, psychological)
My Stepmother and Stepsisters aren't Wicked (comedy, historical, slice of life)
Ikoku Nikki (drama) (this one is the one i'm currently most interested on, i hear it's about a distant woman who's never had a good relationship with her sister and now has to take care of her teenage niece because her sister died)
Itsuwari no Freya (crossdressing, historical)
Limit (drama, psychological, school) (this one sounds incredible tbh, on a field trip their bus gets into an accident and only 5 girls remain, having to learn to survive and trying to assert themselves over one another because they hate each other.)
Machida-kun no sekai (school)
Mitarai-ke, Enjou suru (drama) (the main character wants to infiltrate the household of the family who blamed her mother for a fire, in order to prove her mother's innocence)
Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You (comedy)
Uramichi Oniisan (comedy, showbiz, workplace)
Usotoki Rhetoric (mystery, historical)
Don't Call It Mystery (mystery)
If anyone has more things to recommend I would also love to hear about it!!

New fic idea: Jamil VS the ex
Context: Jamil and s/o have been dating for while. Things are going great and everyone is just happy. There are no real jealousy issues on either side cause they trust each other and Jamil is confident he's the best catch around. If there is any jealousy, they talk it out like mature human beings since being petty doesn't solve anything. Though there is defintley possessiveness, it never leaves the bedroom and they both enjoy it.
Introducing the ex: just a complete toxic dump. As in, shitty romance novels stereotypical male lead toxic dump. Just controlling, verbally/emotionally abusive, physically intimidates people, tries to use sex to fix things, doesn't know when to leave their exes alone, gets physical with love rivals, etc. For reference feel free to look at Christian Grey from 50 Shades, Hardin Scott from After, and Edward Cullen from Twilight. Honestly it didn't last more than a week yet the ex continued to stalk our poor reader and ruin any attempt at a finding a new lover.
Cue them getting to NRC and finally having a chance at a relationship with our boy Jamil. But unfortunately all good things must come to an end when reader invites Jamil home to meet their family. Let's say that if the reader is not from TWST then they have a way to dimension travel and the family is in on it.
Jamil is quickly welcomed into the family and they make it clear that he's the best boyfriend the reader has had so far. The reader and their family are quick to warn Jamil about the ex and the sabotages. He learns the details from his albi's angry rants about all the bullshit this guy did.
At one point the reader turns to him and goes: "you have my permission to be as much of a possessive scheming bastard as you want. Ruin his reputation, frame him, humiliate him, I don't care! He's messed with my life far too much for me to care about him anymore. If we run into him, feel free to shove it in his face that I am yours. Hold me, kiss me, leave hickies, whatever! I trust you to know my boundaries and when to do it. Hell, if you manage to get rid of him, then we might as well skip the formalities and go straight to the alter."
Cue Jamil plotting:
1. Get the ego boost from going PDA in front of your lover’s ex. Note: make sure beloved is wearing his hoodie/jersey for maximum boost.
2. Get rid of the abusive ex who's been harming his beloved for YEARS.
3. Plan the wedding.
Meanwhile, the reader is just enjoying the extra affection while munching popcorn as their dear boyfriend gets rid of the biggest nuisance in their life. Yes they get turned on by it, especially the smirk. They're planning to thoroughly spoil him when this is over, both in and out of the bedroom.
Bonus: in your professional opinion, what route would Jamil take to get rid of the ex and how sadistic does he get?
Hasdkföjask yes just let Jamil loose on the problem and enjoy the fireworks.
Also hasdfads in my professional opinion, huh? I feel honored. 🥺👉👈
Oop this got long so below the cut it goes.
(Also boy am I glad the ex did not get to do too much lasting damage to reader’s ability to have a healthy relationship. Jamil already has enough baggage for both of them to go through. Still, someone get a restraining order on that ex, stat.)
“Yes they get turned on by it, especially the smirk.” Just… too true. Man’s just way too hot when he’s all confident and cocky I swear.
Also ngl this brand of possessive I can definitely get behind.
Also I love that tasklist, just not sure which one I love more, the note to task 1 or just the entirety of task 3. Tho of course, Jamil being Jamil (and I may or may not be projecting here) I’m sure there’d be plenty of subtasks / -steps to each of these.
(Also sidenote yes Jamil definitely would know how to turn up the charm for the in-laws for extra approval points. What a charming well-behaved young man, just delightful 😇)
Now, the options coming to my mind are:
Something “private”: only the ex (and reader) needs to know what happened exactly, but it’s enough to spook the ex and keep him in line. (I mean, getting snake whispered? Should be pretty scary, especially depending on what Jamil does with it. Oh boy, the potential.)
Something public: ruin this guy’s image, future prospects, credit score, everything, make everyone see him for the cretin he is. Might cause backlash depending on just how concerning this guy is, but also long-lasting consequences.
Ignore the gnat, just rub things in his face by just being super sweet and loveydovey wherever he happens to be without ever directly confronting him because he’s not worth the effort (not too likely, Jamil’s definitely way too petty (or incensed) to just leave it at that).
Now, getting information on people may be Azul’s specialty, but I’m sure Jamil won’t have too much trouble finding out enough (like where the ex works, lives, stuff like that. If this is a different world (or even just different country), I’m sure reader can help him with the details of what is possible and all).
And by the sounds of things, this particular jerkwad is bound to turn up anyway. So maybe it’s just a case of waiting and being ready, setting up the favorable circumstances.
So Jamil and s/o would be going out and about. Maybe to the shops, maybe just a walk outside, whatever they know is likely to land them on the ex’s path.
The thing about the hoodie is that it’s not necessarily obvious (to the ex) that it belongs to Jamil, rather than you. So he’d probably go for the jersey (since that name obviously isn’t yours (at least yet)), or weather permitting he’d only loan out his hoodie to you at an opportune time.
Like, as soon as you two realize the ex is around, you’re all oh, it sure is a little chilly isn’t it, have my hoodie my dear, it’ll keep you warm. Cue makeout session (and definitely no smug glances from Jamil to the ex, no siree. Nothing of the sort when he holds you tighter, pulls you closer, lets his hands trail along your back, into your back pockets or perhaps even under your shirt. Definitely.).
When ex comes over, you’re conveniently in a public place (probably conveniently within sight of cameras, too, so there’d be something on record to go to authorities with, if needed, and for extra consequences).
I’m thinking Jamil might be all “innocent”, at least overtly (and as much as he can hold himself back - he’s used to mingling with the high and mighty and keeping face, but this is more personal) - tho there might be some underhanded barbs with plausible deniability, or just all the casual things about how you’re Jamils and how you’ve been together for however long and how Jamil just met your parents etc. Basically just reminding the ex of what he can’t have.
Tho once Jamil distances himself (and you), from the guy, I could see Jamil going to somewhere more secluded (with or without you, depending on how you agreed in advance). And if and when the ex follows, he gets a very different side of Jamil. Sharp tongue, no holds barred, told in no uncertain terms how pathetic and despicable he is, and to keep away from you, your family, and anyone else who has any connection to you. But especially you.
The only problem I have is thinking of just what he’d do to seal the deal. I mean, probably Jamil would make the guy do something bad / unpleasant with snake whisper. Like, make the dude do something humiliating, film it and leave it on his phone for him to find later? Make him go out into the crowds to make a fool out of himself? (Perhaps in a location with his friends / family / whatever around?) Get him to send some very terrible messages to some folks?
I think I’m a bit too nice to think of just how far Jamil could go, and snake whisper does have its limitations, too. Like to really ruin someone, you need to do something more impactful than just one unfortunate action.
(I mean I suppose maybe he could make the dude kill someone and go to prison for that but yeah let’s not.) Robbery, tho? I’m sure there’s some sort of a crime we can squeeze out of the guy that would not be too bad for bystanders (not that Jamil would be that bothered, tbh) but would still be enough of a consequence, and which could still be achieved with snake whisper.
That, or just make the guy walk into a cesspit or something, especially if it’s right before something important.
I’m kinda just spitting this out (and brain’s a bit fried) but also this was such a juicy concept I had to jump on it.
Honestly I feel like there’d be so much more to be said just for the PDA part and the possessiveness and protectiveness Jamil would feel and everything else, and maybe I’ll get back to that another time.
Did you have any particular thoughts of how you think it might go?

Now that my YouTuber AU Sabolaw fic is ending soon, I have a new wip fic. Long ago, I floated the idea of a blind prince!Sabo (x) and I'm happy to say I've gotten something concrete down!
Like I said, Sabo is blind as in he can't see things clearly. He's mostly self-reliant and refuses to accept help from people he doesn't trust and that includes help from his own attendant, Law, a man four years older than himself.
They were 'okay' with each other. Sabo thought Law was too serious and Law thought of Sabo as a bit naïve, even if good-hearted.
One day, Sabo realises that he would be eighteen soon and that meant he had to do be king. Oh, fuck that! He's running away! He refused to be king over a kingdom that refuses to acknowledge its sins, for refusing to do anything that would help people. He would not inherit this shithole of a country,
Ace and Luffy promised not to snitch. That's a solid enough plan, surely!
It was not. This will be a long story. I love slow burns!
Literally on the first night, Sabo was attacked by bears and would have died if Law did not immediately step in with a gun.
Being the little tsundere that he is, Sabo refuses to trust Law. Law's an adult. A shady, no-good adult like everyone else who made fun of him for being blind.
Maybe this is shit writing, but the only reason why Law won over his trust is because Law gave him a short letter, telling Sabo exactly what he intends on doing: they would go to Corázon's place to seek asylum, Law had a budget for food and necessities, Law had specific routes to take and Sabo was supposed to follow him.
Sabo thought it was such a stupid plan but then it suddenly hit him. Law learned how to write in braille with a slate and stylus. Law refused to elaborate on the details, thinking it was not necessary. It absolutely was but Sabo did not have the energy to complain. He was too hungry. The palace chefs spoiled him so much.
Law tried his best, though. Meagre meals of bread, some hunted deer and boiled water from rivers in the forest. Law was a shit cook. Everything he made was almost always burnt but, then again, it was edible and Sabo would rather not go hungry.
Law would buy food sometimes but they would never be much. Law explained that there weren't many food options and Sabo accepted the explanation. Law took them to ghost towns sometimes. That was when Law would sometimes leave for several days, claiming that he needed to find work—whatever that meant.
For accommodation, Law tried but they did not have many options. Not many places were safe and unaffiliated with the royal court, let alone places that were comfortable.
They really were shitholes and brothels but Law always cleaned the rooms and beds as best he could before letting Sabo sleep on them. Sabo still sneezed from the dust but Law never complained when Sabo did. He just smiled and said he'd try to find a better place to sleep next time. He said Sabo needed to man up and Sabo begrudgingly admitted it was true.
Sabo liked it best when they camped out in the forest. It was quiet and peaceful. Law was laughing at a horrible pun he made about bugs or whatever. Sabo learned that Law loved making jokes that were as bad as his cooking.
One night, while camping, Sabo was trying to sleep after taking a piss somewhere and he felt something touch his lips. It was quick and gentle, nothing too forceful like the kisses he shared with strangers before in the taverns whenever he snuck out. Sabo thought this was some stranger who had a weird kink but he was surprised to hear a familiar voice apologising to him.
"I'm so sorry, your highness. I went out of line."
"You kissed me, Law," Sabo said blandly. "Why?"
“I… it’s a spur of the moment.”
“Do not lie to me.”
Law hesitated. Sabo couldn’t understand why. If Law wanted to have sex with him, he should say so. Sabo wouldn’t mind. Sabo’s curious and Law’s an adult. It felt right, anyhow. That was the way it should be. Law should teach him this and not the boring stuff from books.
“I’m sorry, your highness,” Law said softly after some time. “You’re pretty. That’s why I kissed you.”
Sabo knew there was more to the story. He knew Law was staring at his body. He knew Law liked his body, found him not just pretty but attractive. He knew Law was turned on. Plenty of people told Sabo he was handsome before, and it was unsurprising Law thought that way too. In fact, it would be insulting if Law didn't.
“No, your highness,” Law said with strained finality. “I can’t. I refuse.”
Sabo shrugged. “Pity,” he said without meaning it.
Law struggled to breathe. “You say that as if you actually want to have sex with me.”
“I won’t say I want to,” Sabo said. “I don’t know why you’re so uptight around me. I’m not the king, you know, I have no real power yet.”
“That’s exactly why I refuse. You have no power.”
“Huh?” Sabo did not understand and Law refused to elaborate. Sabo got frustrated and said that Law should explain so Sabo could learn instead of avoiding the topic. Weakly, Law agreed but never explained why having sex with Sabo was such a horrible thing to do.
That day made things more awkward. Neither refused to talk about what happened, and maybe that was for the best. At least, Law now never left Sabo's side, which made things easier.
Eventually, they did make it to Corázon's house and that was when Law left Sabo abruptly without ceremony. Sabo wasn't worried. Law would come back like he always does, with some food and other little gifts he could find along the way. Law always came back.
One day passes. Law is not here. Fine, maybe Law was on vacation. Two weeks and still nothing. Sabo tried not to get worried. Maybe Law got a job. One month later and there was still no news. That was, until one day, a guy with flaming red hair came by to ask for Law.
"Hey, blondie. Where's Trafalgar? He owes me money."
"Excuse me?" Law never borrowed money.
"Huh?" He said. He shrugged. "Whatever, it's not serious. Just tell him to find me if you see him around. There's something else I want to tell him. Name's Eustass. See ya."
"S-sure..." This man looked fucking terrifying!
Corázon was in the kitchen making breakfast and so Sabo forwarded the message. Corázon smiled and said that Law had been borrowing money from him and Eustass. Eustass was a kind man so Sabo need not worry about him.
"What? Why?"
"Law knows he can't give you the luxury you're used to but he insists that he must try," Corázon said kindly.
The first lesson Law taught Sabo in the palace when Sabo was still sixteen was to never to be in anyone else's debt. That was why Sabo started realising something was very wrong.
"But Law always told me how much budget we have and we camp outside. He had always been transparent. He works sometimes, that's why he disappears for three days at a time sometimes."
"Have you actually touched the money Law claims to have?"
N-no, he did not. Corázon invited Sabo to sit down as he explained what's really going on.
Like Sabo, Law had been running away, specifically from a man named Donquixote Doflamingo. At first, Sabo did not know who this person was or what they did to Law but after an info-dump from Corázon, he realised more and more that he was not as smart as he thought he was.
Doflamingo killed Law's biological family when Law refused to work for him. Doflamingo tracked down Law's friends and somehow forced them to distance themselves from Law. Law, now, was dedicated to finding out where they were and setting things right. That was why Law left Sabo alone.
And now, Sabo learnt that these 'palace guards' Law kept complaining about were not palace guards at all. They were Doflamingo's men. That explained why they spoke to Law like that, like he was some sort of slut. Real palace guards spoke to Law with professionalism and formality.
And yet, Law would go so far as to marry Doflamingo! To accept being talked at, degraded and losing basic agency over his life if it meant keeping Sabo safe and, worse of all, free.
"If it means anything, Law said he wished he could've made things easier. You had to get used to a lot of things you're unfamiliar with and there wasn't much of a coping period to help you with your blindness. He regretted not arranging things better for your sake."
Sabo really was a child, after all! He learnt nothing! Nothing at all!
"I forgot to mention this, but Law left a letter for you." Sabo snatched the letter away and felt it. It was written in braille, and it only had a single sentence. Sabo started crying.
"Young man," Corázon said lightly. "How about you write a letter to Law? Or, I'll type one for you. How about that? There's still some time before Law leaves the country with Doflamingo."
Sabo shook his head. He stood up, demand that Smoker give him a ride on his white horse named Chaser towards the Northern Chapel. If Chaser was as fast as Smoker said, then there's still time for Sabo to prove himself to the only person, other than Ace and Luffy, to say, "Sabo, I love you."

Apple White is by far one of the best written ‘spoiled brat’ archetype characters I’ve ever seen.
She’s actually my favorite character in Ever After High, but NOT because she’s a good person. Quite the opposite in fact.
Like, obviously we all sympathize with Raven and how screwed over she is by their worlds ‘follow your destiny’ system as the daughter of the Evil Queen, and we’re absolutely routing for her when she says no to it.
Nobody is agreeing with Apple one bit when she calls this move selfish and that she ruined everything. It’s very much the deciding factor for a lot of people to hate Apple.
And… yeah. Fair.
Like “She had a future planned out for her where she’s forced to do a heinous crime and get ostracized for it her entire life and imprisoned like a monster at the end. And she DIDN’T want that? HOW DARE SHE?!”
Like, yes, the show wants you to hate Apple in this scene and be on Raven’s side.
But it feels like a lot of people from then on completely dismiss every single line and action Apple makes as pure evil fascism propaganda with no depth behind it.
And that’s just not true, because that in no way makes her a bad character.
“Well, actually, Apple is promoting a fascist world system and forcing everyone around her to conform in it, then proceeds to act entitled to her own role in that system where she does not suffer one bit. And that’s a bad thing.”
WELL NO SHIT THATS A BAD THING. ITS ALMOST LIKE THATS THE POINT.
The show never frames her as the one with the moral high ground, the closest they get to that is when it’s an argument that’s morally grey on both ends.
The entire point of the Royal’s side of the story, and Apple’s character, is that she is a byproduct of promotion to a system that is morally f*cked. Where she is an exception as a person who gets the best possible future by that very system.
She was born and raised in a world that heavily values destiny as its main driving force and all the myths that come with it. Myths their world was raised to believe. She was born and raised on the top of the world, and destined for nothing but greatness and to be a successful ruler. Of course she’s gonna be a harder glass to break.
When you’re told all your life that ‘you have to do what the book tells you or you will all DIE’. Of course you’re gonna believe it and push your loved ones to believe it. Especially since, you know, in your point of view there’s no negatives to it.
Sure your roommate doesn’t get a happy ending by that, but that’s just a necessary sacrifice. A means to an end. A sacrifice for your own life of royalty to happen.
That’s a sacrifice they’re willing to do and is worth it. Right? RIGHT?!
And then what do you know, her worldview gets absolutely shattered throughout the show as her loved ones join the rebels and call Apple out on her bullshit.
True Hearts Day, her friend Ashlynn is dating a guy that isn’t her intended prince. And Apple tries to help her through her crisis on the matter… by encouraging her to dump the guy because ‘destiny’. And when Ashlynn doesn’t do that, Apple, while deciding to still claim Ashlynn a friend, still says that she thinks it’s wrong.
Thronecoming, there’s Raven deciding to sign for the sake of them, and then it turns out that was a scheme by Milton Grimm, to which Apple actually calls him out and sides with Raven for the first time. And gee, I wonder who prompted that? Maybe it had to do that her best friend got a reality check in her own fate and went against it, which Apple experienced herself, and got rescued by that very friend.
Then there’s Way Too Wonderland, where that whole system Apple has known gets DESTROYED. Ironically by Raven doing the very thing Apple wanted from the beginning. Part of that has to do with everything she’s been through with her friends and Raven thus far. But also in this special, Raven succeeds in her own routes, and even encourages Lizzie to follow her destiny in one scene, something Apple would’ve never imagined from Raven at that point. But one that makes sense because Lizzie genuinely wanted that life and it was always her choice. And, you know, don’t give the throne to the dictator jester. And who is the one to snap Raven out of her power trip? Oh yeah, Apple.
Then there’s Dragon Games, which might as well be the ‘Apple redemption arc’ special. Which starts with her doing the morally worse thing she’s ever done, letting the Evil Queen free from her prison and proceeding to HELP HER.
All because she couldn’t accept this new world she’s found herself in, where she was not only not on top anymore, but was left aimless and lost with no direction. It was painful to her, and it shows. The spoiled privileged girl isn’t spoiled and privileged anymore. Whatever could she do?
So she really was just a sitting duck asking to be persuaded by evil. This is the only point in the entire show where I would call Apple a ‘villain’. Before, yeah she was antagonistic, but she wasn’t actively doing evil things, at least in her mind. Here? She knows her actions are wrong, but she’s doing them anyway to save her own skin.
And she gets exactly what she deserves for it. She gets the same ostracizing that Raven would’ve gotten from Apple’s own ideals. She makes her own loved ones lives so much worse.
But it’s only through that very brutality that she does everything she can to make up for her actions, side with the rebels, apologize for her spoiled behavior, and fight for a future she can’t see. Something she wouldn’t have done before.
(Oh yeah there was also this whole bit where she gets poisoned and comatose and it turned out her Prince Charming was actually a lesbian… honestly that just felt like a waste of fifteen minutes. I mean, maybe that was leading up to more Apple character development, but too bad the show got cancelled before it was shown, isn’t that great-?!)
You can’t tell me that Legacy Day Apple and Dragon Games Apple are the same person.
It’s almost like she was a character designed to be flawed and unlikeable and was set to grow and change as a better person through trials.
But another reason why I loved her as a ‘spoiled brat archetype’ was that she felt like a real person. A real, spoiled person. She was spoiled, but she wasn’t self aware of it.
She’s not a selfish rich lady who abuses her riches because she could. She wasn’t complaining about getting her hands dirty or demanding anyone worship her. Unless it’s an inanimate object. The only time I remember her complaining about her stuff being broken was with that one mirror episode, and even then it was revealed her whining was an act and she wasn’t bothered by it. She just wanted to torture Raven with guilt I guess. She also isn’t screaming for her parents to do her bidding.
Rather Apple, while a massive hypocrite, is portrayed, in her view, as a genuine hardworking person who cared and valued the people around her. She cares about her position as a future queen and understands it’s a massive responsibility and never complains about the work. She does it all. No matter what it is. She puts in effort to perfect her role, and only ever accepts the praise when she feels she’s earned it. She actually gets a bit self conscious when she’s not doing something exactly right. Well, when she’s aware it’s even wrong anyway.
Not only that, but she genuinely loves the people in her life and wants to make as warm of a presence as possible. Yeah she accused a lot of stereotypes with Raven when designing her room, but she also had no reason to have Raven as a roommate because they’re supposed to be enemies. But she makes the arrangement anyway because she values Raven and the partnership needed, even if she doesn’t value Raven’s ideals. She doesn’t dismiss Raven as ‘a bad person’ just ‘someone destined to be bad, and just doing a job’.
She actually cares about her friends and their well being. If she didn’t care about Ashlynn or Briar, why would she even try to help them in their crisis episodes? Yeah her way of helping is anything but, but in her point of view she is. She also does not push Daring into a relationship just because it’s set in stone. Points for consent I guess.
She also doesn’t use her mother as a tool for her own gain or for a step stool for her own progress at their lineage. It’s her mom that does all the pressure on the daughter. Aww she’s a mommy’s girl.
Watching the show and hearing all the Apple hate beforehand, I was waiting the entire show for the rug to be pulled under, where it was revealed that Apple’s kind demeanor was just an act and she was actually a very nasty manipulative mean girl…
…and that never happened.
Hell, the only time that DID happen, was because of a CURSE in Spring Unsprung. A curse that makes the person act the opposite of their true selves. So that was the real rug being unpulled that it wasn’t an act and Apple actually cared about fairness and good heart. (Also cursed Apple is a treasure. Sorry not sorry.)
I’m just saying, there’s a lot of spoiled archetypes they could’ve done with her but didn’t do. And I appreciate it cause it makes her seem far more realistic. And it makes her hypocrisy hit that much harder.
But she is still spoiled. She knows she’s on the top of the world and has the highest privilege in this world, and thus everyone treats her like a queen. So she subconsciously expects that admiration and praise, and when she doesn’t get it, there’s something wrong. Things come so easy to her because of her privilege, even if she puts in the effort to earn it. That IS being spoiled.
And on top of that, her forcing her friends to conform in a life that benefits her, IS very much spoiled behavior.
Like, she feels like how a spoiled privileged entitles teenager would actually act in the real world. (And Do)
And yet, while it’s very obvious to us how spoiled rotten she is, it doesn’t feel like Apple has self awareness. In her mind, she earns the attention and praise. And again, destiny is a whole reality they have that’s drilled into her head. So in her mind, she’s the most logical person in the room, and cannot accept the change. Because change would mean that she’d lose not only her future, but her privilege. And when she does, it’s so much emotional turmoil for her that she goes to the dark side to get it back.
I love that her transition from spoiled brat of a system to a humiliated rebel of that system is very rough and rocky. Because how can you expect someone like her to immediately accept a situation like this? There’s a lot more depth that goes into the discussion besides ‘following destiny bad, living life blind good’. And that absolutely shines with Apple teetering on the fence again and again.
So yeah I like this character. Can’t stop me.
(If you hate her though, I understand that.)

ok you want people to talk to you about pokémon right. well you’re in luck bc i wanted to talk to you
first question uuuuuhm. hm. how about you try to sell me on playing black/white. go wild and infodump about that green man etc
THANK YOU
hm. idk how much you know or want to know bc i dont want to end up spoiling the plot of the best piece of media ever created by human hands containing the absolute flawless amazing showstopping pinnacle of storytelling Natural "N" Harmonia Gropius. but also its an 11 year old game and i spoil it constantly anyway so lmao
bw itself in general? imo the Peak of pokemon all bias aside. the animated 2d sprites, the environments (going over the skyarrow bridge for the first time WOOOO), the music, the pokemon designs themselves, it still had mythical pokemon events like Victini's, pokemon musicals, Pokestar Studios in bw2, auugahhhh chewing on bw/bw2 like its a multivitamin gummy
the music is probably one of the best things about it! routes have slight variation depending on the season (bw has seasons btw its very pretty) which is super neat. village bridge is one of my favorite pokemon songs, it'll activate more instruments as you explore the bridge and talk to people with instruments and things. also Driftveil City. just driftveil its iconic
and now here's an entire no holds barred rant on Him
n. where do i start with him. i will be spoiling literally everything about him btw i just love explaining him
abandoned in a forest at like 5ish years old, he learned to talk with pokemon because he lived with them. ghetsis ends up finding him, claims he's his father, and whisks little n away to plasma castle and everything goes speeding downhill on a sled going over ice.
n's naturally Too Nice, so ghetsis is able to convince him that every human is pokemon-abusing scum by only letting n see pokemon that have been mistreated and isolating him from people other than ghetsis himself and n's foster sisters, anthea and concordia. he makes n think only he can change the world by joining with one of the twin dragons, becoming champion to prove his strength to the region, and from there he can force all people to separate from pokemon.
presumably the first time n's been let out of plasma castle is at 20 years old when bw takes place which on its own is just. insanely horrific. he's genuinely surprised that all the people he meets over the course of the game treat their pokemon well and their pokemon love them in return. unfortunately for n he is STUBBORN. up until the bitter end he keeps holding onto the belief that humans and pokemon should be separated despite all the evidence contrary to that because thats all he's known all his life. was he supposed to just throw away all he's been working towards for 15 years? drives me insane how deeply entrenched n was in his mindset that even when he had suspicions, he couldn't let himself waver from the path he chose. he literally runs away and disappears for TWO YEARS after you defeat him because he's so lost.
yknow how kieran tries to be the hero of ogerpon's story and gets furious when sv protag takes that away from him? thats kinda how n is, he thinks he's supposed to be the hero of unova but after clashing with you he realizes he is Not. "Is the world going to choose you, and not me?!" <- line that has driven me nuts for over a decade. n is literally designed like a classic mainline game protag: compatitively simple casual outfit (with the bright green hair to set him apart though), does the gym challenge and becomes champion, catches a box legendary, is fighting against a threat in order to save the region. the only difference being that threat was a lie, n was being used so ghetsis could take over the region.
speaking of ghetsis's atrocities. there's his infamous "freak without a human heart" line. there's the fact his final team is designed to counter and sweep n's final team, either he was planning for n to end up betraying him or just outright disposing of n no matter what he did once he outlived his usefulness. there's the fact he probably didn't even take much care of n and dumped the responsibility on anthea and concordia who probably aren't much older than n. there's the fact that in usum's rainbow rocket storyline, that timeline's ghetsis has one of the twin dragons, which i've seen interpretations of being that he's trapped n and taken the dragon or straight up Killed n because the dragon is supposed to choose its partner. fucked up stuff!
and throughout it all n still has some attachment to ghetsis! "It's hard to call you this, but… Father! Please understand."
ghetsis may have done All That but he's still almost all n had for so many years. n is also again, Too Nice, he still wants to see the best in ghetsis. pokemon masters had a storyline where ghetsis seems to be trying to make up and n makes the choice to trust him. ghetsis betrays them all of course but the fact n still chose to believe in him again is so. augh
enough about The Tragedy of N Harmonia though, he does turn his life around and seems so much happier in bw2. compare his first game encounter theme to his second. the first is creepy, stops jarringly, is literally named Prisoner to a Formula. his second reminds me of carnival music and i love it so so so much. also, i've had weird issues in the past where putting images under a readmore screws up the entire post's formatting and i dont want to retype THIS ENTIRE RANT but. in bw2 his battle sprite has a bigger smile than in bw1. he regained his whimsy :)
misc thing. he canonically talks so fast some people can't understand him. this is reflected in the game by his text printing faster than everyone else's, and if you set your text speed to Fast he talks at a unique EVEN FASTER speed which i think is really funny. they just Really wanted him to talk super fast they even bothered to make him his own text speed

Wow I just came across this and I was so glad it had a demo!!!🥳 only for it to end and leave me like Zeus looking for my next ambrosia fix 😂 it was so good I played through all the fables, I can't even imagine the amount of work and effort you put into this, it may not mean much but your work is really truly appreciated 🙏
1. I saw it says that you had planned for the next update to be late June, early July, how is the update going so far because I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say we're absolutely hooked ots that good 😂
2. How wealthy are the MCs because the intro teases that MCs attire for the dinner is very expensive and I would imagine it costs quite a bit to falsify your identity and keep a low profile
3. Will we get to see Sariel again in the Luci route or any route for that matter 🥺 my Luci misses Sariel, if she was a RO my Luci would've tried to get her back 😏
4. Is this a solo book or do you have more planned after this
Sorry its a bit of a long ask 😅 but its only because I'm too invested, good luck with your writing ✍ and I wish you all the best 👍 🙃
Wow! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
The Update is taking me far longer than expected. Currently, I have about 35-45k words done(depending on what I want to keep in/editing), but that is roughly only half of the word count chapter 2 will end up being. I've had a couple of complications in my personal life in regard to my job, so it leaves me a little less time for writing but rest assured; I am chugging away at it!
The MC is a multi-millionaire. They have accumulated a ton of wealth and knowledge over their long lifespan, even though they tried not to interact with the world. Also, it is worth noting that one could claim the MC technically has infinite wealth since there is very little to stop them from simply taking whatever they want if push comes to shove.
I don't want to spoil too much here, but I will say each route will have a unique character pop in and out of the story in the later stages of the narrative. Unfortunately, these will not be ROs because that would be a nightmare to code. 😅
I'm planning for it to be one massive solo book, but I might decide to break it up if it feels more natural that way.

Monthly special: Variable Barricade crossover!
I honestly didn't expect this to go so big so fast! Although this chapter can feel a little like a filler and that I left out quite a lot. This is just so I don't accidentally spoil the routes. Since we do have some time before we get to them hah...But I think I will make the second run (the one with the boys) for a different game! But we’ll see about that.
If you want to join the taglist just send an ask or dm me!
Reader here is female and has established background.

After finding out who your suitors really are you've decided to interview them. It was to find out what their intentions and opinions were… and of course you were going to ask them about those little titles they had displayed on their background checks.
In the end you were not ready for their responses no matter how hard you prepared.
Part one: chapter 2- This is just like a job interview!
"I see… so this is what that was all about…" you just explained everything to Ayaka and she listened carefully. But somehow she didn't seem all that concerned "I'm happy for you Y/N" her gentle smile made you frown
"Happy? Did you hit your head Ayaka? I'm not happy with this situation" you weren't sure if she understood your situation, but it definitely surprised you to see her being happy over your misery.
"But isn't it good? If anything it's a step in the right direction. Now you won't have to worry about not being able to marry out of love. You said it yourself that your grandfather allowed you to still seek on your own, right?" she was right, but there was a little problem.
"It's true but I won't have enough hours in the day to look for someone!" and not like you'd even know where to begin.
"I suppose you're right… then why not look among your suitors?" she was really curious as to why you'd do anything just to ignore the suitors. To you the answer is obvious.
"Didn't you listen to me? They're unemployed and they sure are here just for the money" the timing probably couldn't get any better for them. You don't even know how or when your grandfather got acquainted with these women, but you have a feeling that they were glad to not have to worry about any money should they win you over.
"I think we both know that's not possible. Your grandfather wouldn't let someone like that near you" her words made you frown, you didn't think about it in that sense. As you cursed under your breath Ayaka continued "If you're so uncertain about them, maybe talk to them individually and judge their characters yourself" now that you think about it, the only time you spoke to any of them alone was when Yelan greeted you by the door, but you're not sure if it counts given that you basically didn't respond to anything she said. Alas, your best friend's suggestion gave you an idea "You're right! I should interview them!" your eyes sparked as you knew it was a good plan.
"I'm pretty sure that's not what I said-" she tries to change your train of thought but you already made up your mind.
"I mean, joining the L/N family is like accepting a job and every job offer needs a proper interview" you ignored her concerns as you feel proud of your new approach.
"Y/N, can't you be a little bit more casual about this?" she desperately tries to convince you. But you had your mind set. And when you know what you want you're as stubborn as you can possibly get.
"How could I be? If I'm going to do it, I'm doing it on my own terms" you say as perhaps such an interview would make them nervous and perhaps their masks would fall. That would buy you more time unless your grandfather really does have a queue of women waiting for their chance with you…
"I'm happy that you're confident about it… but something tells me that it's not going to end well" she continued with her concerned tone.
"I'll be sure to let you know if you were right or not. For now I'll prepare the questions and let Thoma know my plans" you immediately took out your phone and texted:
Y/N: Thoma, I need you to let everyone know that I want to host an interview with each and one of them.
You didn't need to wait long for his reply but you didn't feel impatient. After all this was the first time you got to have control over the situation.
Thoma: Sure, do you need me to pass anything else to them?
Y/N: I want them all in formal wear. Everything else I'll explain to them myself.
"Formal wear?" Ayaka peeked as you were typing.
"I want to see if they're willing to take it seriously" you said as your mood got better. You finally were the one in charge!
-
You were a little nervous but once you arrived back home you felt a sudden rush of confidence. You opened the door to the main room and all of the women were dressed formally just like you asked. They didn't notice you right away so you got to hear their following conversation.
"She should be home anytime soon right?" Eula said with impatient tone "I hate not knowing what's going to happen next"
"Well, Thoma said it's an interview. So that's what we should expect" Yelan said casually. She said before that she's planning on not letting you know everything about her right away so you wonder what kind of tactics she may have here.
"I know that, I was just thinking what kinds of questions she'd ask" with each word Eula sounded more and more irritated.
"Isn't it obvious? She probably saw our background checks and is curious as to how are we so bold as to ask for the heir's hand while we don't have anything to offer. Business wise choosing any of us is setting herself up with a gamble. Since I doubt any of us have the experience" Ningguang pointed out, she wasn't exactly wrong but she wasn't fully right either.
"In some occasions marriages are set up purely for either decorational matters" Eula argued "So we don't know what Y/ N really wants from us" she said it like you'd be the one using them if you get married. How laughable.
"*giggles* This might be interesting indeed. What do you think?" Miko turned to you as she was quiet this entire time. Perhaps she knew all along that you're here or maybe she noticed it a bit later. Either way she was the only one who was aware of your presence, considering how the rest looked surprised to see you. Taking a deep breath you look at them and say:
"Ladies, as you know I'll be hosting an interview for each and one of you. Thoma will call for you individually, so for now I'm asking that all of you stay here and I'll get everything prepared in the dining room" you feel proud of yourself but your face is fully professional, not letting any of your excitement show.
-
When you were alone in the room you looked at the background checks again. This time however you weren't filled with despair like last time "Who should I call first…?" you wonder for a moment and look at Thoma "Could you bring Miko first? Also I'd like you to not be in the room during the interview"
"Alright" he nods and leaves the room.
After a moment Miko enters and she looked quite amused "I see you're finally taking initiative" she sits in front of you "I was wondering when I'll get to see that side of you" she looked at you intrigued "Go on, ask me those questions" she waved her hand at you, suggesting that you may start right away. Her casual approach to the entire thing made you lower your guard slightly, but you weren't going to let her do whatever she pleases.
"Alright, first question. What prompted you to apply for the chance to marry into the L/N family?" you had your suspicions, especially given her work life so far. So you had to look for hints of her lying if she tried to fool you with having feelings for you or just thinking she's your best bet.
"Who said anything about your family? I'm interested in you. So when that old man offered me your hand I felt like it'd be worthwhile" she answered with confidence "But for now I didn't get the chance to tease you enough, what a shame" she sighed.
You decided not to comment on that. You made a mental note to now always be on guard so her attempts of teasing can only end in failure. She's so cocky you decided to not let her have the satisfaction.
"May I ask how did you get to meet my grandfather? Considering how you're referring to him, you probably know each other for quite some time, right?" although you could see a bold person like Miko call him "old man" right away.
"You could say that. Our first meeting was a bit spontaneous, but that's something he should tell you about. I honestly don't know what the guy was thinking, so I'm afraid that should I introduce the situation to you you might not understand the full story before you judge the situation" she explained, well at least that was an attempt at an explanation since it made you ask more questions than have yours answered. But considering her response, asking any would be useless.
"Right… onto the next question. What benefits can you bring to this family that other suitors can't provide?" you realize that they don't know each other, but you need this answer from everyone.
"Unlike others? Well I suppose to you it matters so I'll give you my answer: I can give you a taste of freedom in a way nobody else can" her voice was almost inviting. But you didn’t let your guard down.
"And what do you mean by that?" you raised your brow. Trying to not sound too interested by her offer.
"Oh but it would be absolutely dull and boring if I told you the answer rather than letting you experience it, no?" and with that the magic of her previous statement is gone as you have enough common sense to say:
"You do have a point, but how do I know that you aren't just making things up as you go?" you know better than to believe sweet nothings being whispered into your ears.
"As our relationship progresses you'll see it for yourself dear. Although you might not notice it right away" she was insistent, but at the same time she did sound like she was having fun trying to figure you out.
"Well it would be in your interest to see to it that I notice it soon enough. No matter, time for another question. You probably have seen it coming but I'd like to ask you about your past as a uhm… kept woman" it was a tough question for you to ask. Since the job did have some implications…
"There's not much to talk about, whenever a person needed me and I was sure that they could afford me I accepted" she crossed her arms "As to what I did for them… I think the most suitable term would be inspiring them" she did seem like she wouldn't let just anyone have them but her phrasing was interesting.
"Inspiring?" you wanted her to elaborate.
"I usually work for writers. My guidance was a start for many big novelists. If you don't believe me, some of them insisted on dedicating their novels to me" she said the last part with an unimpressed tone.
"I'll be sure to check it later then. May I get some names?" this was your chance to catch her bluffing.
"But of course, I recently gave my aid to Souka. She isn't as popular but she does have the potential. I also helped anonymous writers like Zhenyu to gain popularity. There is also Junkichi, his first works are incredibly boring to read but currently he's gaining popularity with each novel. But those are only from the top of my head, I can provide you with a full list later" she wasn't nervous in the slightest, so probably that was one way for you to tell that she's telling the truth. But you decided to play it safe.
"I'll take you up on that offer" you prepare yourself mentally before you say "Now it's your turn. Do you have any questions for me?" considering what you know of her so far you expect an attempt at teasing. But what she said wasn't like it in the slightest.
"Ah I was wondering when you'll let me take the lead. I have but one question: why do you think this is happening?" you didn't know how to answer that.
"If I had to guess, that'd be due to my extended family's impatience" you had nothing else to say on the matter. That's what you were told after all, so what else could be a reason?
"Hm… I see" she hums with satisfaction, she stands up and says "Good luck with the rest" she didn't wait for you to allow her to leave.
After she left Thoma entered and waited for your orders.
"Thoma, call Ningguang next please"
With a nod he went to fetch her. She entered professionally, she was probably used to interviews. With a polite smile she greeted you, she stood waiting for your gesture that she may take a seat.
"Let's get right into it okay?" you tell her, after all you don't need to waste time on introductions and it looked like that was what she expected "My first question is: What prompted you to apply for the chance to marry into the L/N family?" you had been interested in what she had to say.
"Although I have put a lot of thought into it, I suppose you can call it my chance for many things. I've realized that I lost a lot of time in my private life so perhaps a sudden marriage like that was what I needed. Not only that I also do believe that I can be of use business-wise" you didn't expect an answer like that so you tilted your head.
"And how would that be? I haven't seen on your file any prior experience" maybe when investigating they missed it? Or perhaps she forgot to mention it if she had an interview earlier?
"Well, I can't really answer that in a way that I could prove. Let's just say that I have the temper and personality for it" oh. So it was just some baseless blabbering.
"What are those personality traits exactly?" you wondered if she actually would give a proper answer here.
"To put it simply and name just a few, I know what's valuable and worth the hassle, I know how to plan ahead and I'm not giving up easily" she looked at you with a proud smile.
"The note that I got to read would suggest otherwise. Could you explain to me why you're currently unemployed. Or rather why is it that you can't keep a job?" honesty you didn't read the reason as to why she was fired, you waned to hear her explanation and only then check if it's the truth, otherwise you might lash out on her for lying a bit too soon. You could see that the question hit her pride, but she took only a second to recover.
"The circumstances were different for each occasion. For most however, my former bosses couldn't appreciate how aspiring and confident I was. I couldn't just let them do as they pleased even if they were my superiors" she looked away for a moment "Pardon me my first reaction, just mere memories of getting fired do tend to make me a little angered is all" she closed her eyes and her polite smile was back on display.
"Surely being married to me isn't something you can just get fired from right away without any say in it. So how can I tell that you're not going to use this opportunity to just make yourself feel better about your failures?" your words hit like daggers, but you did whatever you could to protect your heart. Even if it did make you sound inconsiderate and rude. Surprisingly she took your question well. Perhaps the previous impact made things easier for her to adjust.
"I understand why you'd think that, and as much as I hate to admit I don't really have a way to disprove it. If you're willing to take my word for it then I'm going to tell you only this: while I do think that this is a huge opportunity for me, I don't plan to do it purely for a headstart. If I want to achieve something I only wish to do it on my own. Whether or not you'll choose to support me even if we get married will be up to you" she said with determination.
"Don't you think that it'd be my duty as your wife to help you?" you didn't like how aggressive you were getting but it was all to catch her lying.
"It'd be your duty to support me emotionally yes, but financial needs are something I'd have to handle on my own" she sounded genuine, but you had no idea if it wasn't an act.
"So that's how you'd view it?" granted you don't know if she's bluffing here. She could just be saying it to later guilt you regardless. But considering your earlier comment you felt a bit bad due to your choice of words.
"Yes, is there a problem with it? If so, do let me know. I don't want to waste time on someone who doesn't believe one's lover should be supportive emotionally" she crossed her arms. You almost felt like she shamed you for not believing in her words. But she was only a stranger to you. The atmosphere got a little tense, but you still had to give her the opportunity to voice her concerns.
"I hold the same opinion on the matter, you have nothing to worry about. But if you have any further questions now it's your time to ask" you hoped you managed to hide your nervousness well.
"I'm afraid most of my questions are rather personal, so I'll keep them for a bit more suitable occasion" you weren't sure if she really decided to give up on her questions given the atmosphere, but regardless you were happy that you aren't going to answer anything for now.
"In that case that's it for the interview" you told her and she left "Thank you for your time"
"Alright, next up is Yelan" you announced and waited for Thoma to call her. She walked in and as always you could feel mystery filling the room. When she sat down you asked "Are you ready for your first question?" you figured she was but you thought you'd ask anyways.
"I'm ready" she sounded prepared.
"What prompted you to apply for the chance to marry into the L/N family?" having asked this over and over again you said it like you were practicing it. But you're up to another round soon.
"I guess it was just a decision I made without thinking too much about it" she fidgets with the dice on her necklace "I honestly just rolled the dice for it and decided to accept the offer" she shrugged.
"How could you let such decision be influenced by something like that!?" it was unthinkable to you. She has the privilege to make her own choices and she doesn't even care enough to let them be her own!?
"I've made it into a habit over the years. I usually just roll the dice when I can't decide on something. I just don't want to waste any time thinking about possible 'what if's" she explained, but you still couldn't get it.
"So, you couldn't decide on this topic? Why was that?" instead of questioning further the dice thing you decided to tackle something that made you curious.
"I didn't know you, so that's why I was hesitant. The only thing I knew about you were coming from either Thoma or your family. So not really too reliable source of information if you ask me. That was my reason for refusing" she pointed out "I prefer meeting people on my own, and I was a little curious about you. That was the 'yes' vote" she added.
"But to jump into marriage right away?" you couldn't grasp how she could take it all so lightly.
"It's true that it's skipping a lot of steps. But I have some more reasons for it. It's a bit tough to explain… but sooner or later I may find my words and share it with you" she dodged the question.
"Right, in that case I don't see any reason to question it further. Let's move onto the next question. I wanted to ask about your 'gambler' title you had displayed on your background check" you really didn't know how to ask her about that so you just said how this information came to you.
"What would you like to know?" her question caught you off guard. Usually people would try to change the topic or at least deny it.
"I'd like to know whatever you're willing to tell me" you didn't even know what questions you could ask in the first place…
"I'm not going to lie to you and pretend that I don't gamble, but I don't do it that often… at the same time it did influence my habits" she probably referenced her usage of the dice "But I don't think it'll cause any problems"
"A lot of people with an addiction say that they 'don't really play often' or 'can stop whenever they want to' how can I be sure you're not just lying to me?" you're aware of how many times you've asked someone to prove themselves to you recently… but you couldn't afford to not be 100% sure.
"Well, Thoma keeps track of our behavior so rumors don't start going around about what kind of people the L/N family considers worthy spouses for their heir. So if you trust him to fulfill his duties properly then you should trust me when I say that I don't gamble often enough for it to be an issue" she explains. Although you didn't trust her yet you did trust Thoma. So for now you decided to accept her version.
"Is it okay for me to ask what made you gamble in the first place? Or at least what do you find so appealing in it?" you were quite curious on how she views it. You never had a chance to think about games in that competitive way.
"At this point I don't really remember what started it. As for why I continue, it's due to the excitement a good game gives. I honestly don't care much about the rewards, just the challenge itself" her voice was as sincere as it could get. But you still had your doubts on her indifference towards money.
"I think I understand what you mean" besides the last part you do see the appeal in a good challenge "Okay, now for the last part of the interview… Do you have any questions for me?"
"I've been wondering, what do you think of this entire situation?" she sounded curious, but you both knew what you're going to say.
"I'm highly displeased by it. But I'm willing to try and make it work" although you didn't fully mean it. You had to try and make it work. There was no other way.
"Hm… I see… well in that case that's everything from me" she nodded as she stood up to leave.
"Wait before you go, I actually wanted to tell you something… outside of the interview" you built up the courage to speak during the interview, although you were quite hostile your voice was softer now.
"What is it?" she didn't sit back down.
"I wanted to thank you, for giving me the space I need" you refer to the time where it was your first day in the house. How she could take a hint when you were getting uncomfortable.
"Don't mention it" she smiled at you before leaving.
"So now… it's time for Eula" you sighed. The interviews were making you tired even though the last one didn't end on a hostile note… with her however you could bet on it given her previous behavior towards you.
She looked a little impatient. Perhaps she felt insulted that she was the last one to go. As she sat down she glared at you, waiting for you to speak.
"Are you ready for me to begin?" you ask politely.
She clears her throat and her face expression switches from an annoyed face to a calm and practiced one "Naturally"
Her sudden shift did get you off guard "Okay then, my opening question is: What prompted you to apply for the chance to marry into the L/N family?" you liked how professional she got about it so it did allow you to be a bit more 'natural'.
"As you're probably aware, I've been disowned by the Lawrence family, who is your competitor. I understand it might not make you trust me right away, but my place here isn't by any means a part of that situation. I'm here simply because I chose to" it wasn't the most detailed response you've heard…
"And could you elaborate as to how you came to that choice?"
"Yes, I'll get right to it. To not waste any time, I had known your grandfather for quite a while by now. When he suggested that I come here I was surprised, but even though he has a… specific personality I trust his judgment" she closed her eyes "But tell him a word about it and I won't let it slide" she switched back into her hostile personality.
"In that case it seems like our relationship with him isn't that different" you looked away. You started wondering how often he met up with her. You didn't really see him often, so hearing that he spent his time with some other kids did make you envious.
"From your reactions I suppose you're right. We do have that in common" she sighed with exhaustion.
At first you wanted her to tell you more about how she met your grandfather… but in the end you decided that it was something to be discussed later "That's at least one thing. But back to your family, will you tell me why you were disowned?" you understood that it might be a difficult topic to her but since you let one thing slide you can't afford to let this question go unanswered.
"To put it simply, my family didn't appreciate me having a personality of my own. Their fake confidence is foolish and their pride is what makes their company sink only lower and lower… so in a way, you could say that it's good that I'm no longer associated with them…" she looks like she wanted to add something there but her silence made you aware that she had changed her mind.
"I find it a little hard to believe that they'd discard you like that…" although she doesn't sound like she gets along with her family you still felt bad for her.
"I was warned. But I couldn't stand by when I knew my uncle was doing something illegal, so I reported it" she said, which made you a little confused.
She was involved with getting her uncle arrested? The legality of some of the Lawrence family's dealings was always something people were weary of. But there was only one time they actually got caught. You didn't read about her involvement in it so you were surprised to hear that version of the story.
"Didn't you just say that the reason you were disowned was due to your personality?" why wouldn't she tell you about this specific event right away?
"Isn't that connected? My understanding of justice and the choices I made were what my family didn't appreciate at that moment. So that's why that was my first answer before I elaborated" she was as blunt as she could get.
"I see, I understand but next time I'll appreciate it more if you could answer fully right away"
"Sure, I'll be sure you'll get the response you expect in the future" she sounded a little annoyed which got to you too.
"Is there a problem with that? I just don't see the point of us dragging it for longer than we have to" you try to stay professional but your mouth couldn't stop itself from pouting.
"Then we should move on, we exhausted the topic of my family" yet again it was a swing of emotions with that woman. In one second you're getting along, in the next you have the urge to snap at her.
"Okay. The last part of the interview is your chance to ask me any questions" you're curious if she even would ask anything at this point.
"Oh, in that case there is something I'd like to know. Are you taking this seriously or are you just playing us all?" you understood why she'd want to know if she's wasting time but it wasn't something in your control!
"Does this interview give off the impression that I'm not taking it seriously?" really, why would you organize such a thing if you weren't willing to try.
"That's not what I mean. I know that you've been here for a very short time but you've done nothing but avoid us" you were in the same house as them for less than two days. Just what did she expect?
"I needed a moment to adjust. I can assure you that I'm not 'playing' anyone right now. So is that all?" you were honestly offended that she tried to make you the villain here.
"Yes, I'll take my leave now" with that the interviews were complete and you felt like it was just the start of the obstacle course.
You sighed with exhaustion as you looked at the reports again "Was it really that bad?" you look up and see Thoma.
"It was… difficult" you admit. You probably have ended up with more tension between some of the suitors than you'd like to admit "But it did give me a good opportunity to learn something" most of the responses were vague, yet it did give you an idea as to who you'll be working with "Regardless, I'm going to head back to my room. I'll eat later" you say before he gets the chance to ask about it.
The moment you head upstairs though you were stopped by the girls. Confused, you wanted to ask what they wanted, but you didn't get to ask before Ningguang spoke up "We've talked about it and decided that tomorrow we'll have a small house party. Make sure you don't make any plans"
"What" is all you could say.
"Well you had your share of fun now. It's our turn to take the lead now, no?" Miko asked
The entire time Eula glanced at you. Probably it had to do with her suspicion that you were avoiding them… which both was and wasn't the case.
"So, what do you prefer? The garden looks pretty nice so we were thinking of either a picnic or a barbecue" Yelan asked.
"A picnic would be nice" you just thought about what will be shorter. Because setting up the grill and other preparations alike will drag it out for longer than you'd like it.
"Alright then it's settled, leave everything to us" Ningguang looked satisfied, perhaps the picnic was her idea.
"Wait, everything? I can help out" you argued.
"Now there dear, you've had enough stress recently. We couldn't possibly give you more responsibilities to take care of" although what she sounds may suggest concern, her tone was a little sinister "Thoma on the other hand will take part in it" she ordered.
"Right!" knowing him, he'd offer his help regardless.
"Okay then everything's settled, sorry for it being so sudden" Ningguang stopped blocking your way. You took your opportunity to leave but you could hear them discuss who'll take care of what.
You aren't entirely sure if you're looking forward to it… or the complete opposite.

I think there is a paragraph missing during the interview scene with the hospital director if you choose "Nursing" as your major? Since I remember previously if you had "Biology" as your major, MC would be able to ask a specific field-related question.
Do you plan to add a light mode, by the way? With white background and black text, or something similar? I tried to choose the closest thing to a light mode in themes but it didn't work.
Also, bro, Tama is something else 💀 "I don't want them (Courtney) to touch what's mine"? Bro, we are best friends, what's going on with you??
MC also got injured at the alley scene but it wasn't mentioned again? The talk on the bench with Tama also felt like these two were lovers or ex-lovers than best friends like I chose, since they talk of their "relationship". It just felt at odds with the previously chosen dynamics.
I love Tama but holy crap, dude. Simmer down a bit. The kid just had their stalker ex basically kidnap them and corner them in a dark alley!
Aside from that, I surprise-laughed at Jun punching MC in the stomach and MC getting knocked onto their back and unable to stand up. I did not see that one coming. Faizan to throw MC over their shoulder for touching them? Sure. Jun to suddenly appear and suckerpunch them? NO.
A spiteful part of me wished MC throw up on their shoes though, because Jun didn't know their strength (YOU KNOCKED A GROWN PERSON FLAT ON THEIR BACK WITH A SINGLE PUNCH??) and MC was woefully unprepared (and already feeling ill for different reasons by then) for it.
I had to go double-check all those passages and I forgot to add additional paragraphs 🥴🥴
I typically work in Word, so when I write my different variable choices, I try to write the connecting/follow-up right underneath it. BUT I also end up writing the choices altogether. Which causes a lot of confusion for me. I've started to color code the corresponding passages, so hopefully, that helps me better organize and make sure that paragraphs are fully finished and completed before I publish and transport into twine. Cause once its in twine, I focus solely on coding.
And ooop, I thought I had a theme on there called "A White Space" that was supposed to be white? I'm having such trouble making the passages white, I'm gonna have to go back to the drawing board for that one 🥴🥴🥴. Essentially it's coming, I just gotta figure it out.
Now in terms of the Tama Talk, which one are you specifically referencing? Is it after you eavesdrop, or is it when you met Jin + Faizan? I'm guesstimating that it's the conversation Tama has with you about Courtney, which highkey needs to SUPER revised.
I don't want to spoil too much, but I will say that there's a reason Tama reacts like this. It's about 70 percent not what you think it is and about 30 percent SPOILERS. Also, nonnie... did you send the ask about the Tama theory 👀👀 i wanna publish it but I'm slightly nervous.
And LMAAAOO, Jin is... special. Y'all will find out how later on. His character is semi-important to Yue's route, and partially to Faizan's.
Other than that, thank you so much for the ask~~ I love seeing peoples feedback and views on the characters and the game.

CHAPTER FIFTEEN
"Anna, will you quit being so evasive?" Jennifer needled her girlfriend as they drove down the coastal highway. "I mean, I know it's you, and you're such an awesome girlfriend…"
"Listen to you, buttering me up," she giggled.
"…and that whatever this surprise is will be great. But can't I have some kind of hint? Like, just tell me a category. Or the first letter!"
Anna shot her a grin. "Alright… the category is 'things you do with loved ones' and the letter is… S."
Holding back a laugh, Punz instead let her lips twist into a thoughtful smile. "Hmm… skiing? Sushi? Spending time with each other?"
Anna shrugged, purposely not looking at her girlfriend. It was obvious that Punz was getting a little frustrated – all in good fun, but still. "You'll see soon enough. All you need to know is that it's gonna be a great time – for us, but especially for you."
Punz bit her lip and stopped pestering Anna. Truthfully, she wasn't really that desperate for Anna to spoil it. The idea that her girlfriend had planned this holiday and managed to keep the details a secret was a pleasant one, and Punz had little doubt that such an excursion would only bring them together even more. Picking up Anna's hand, she brought it to her lips. She would have much preferred to kiss Anna on her lips, but it wasn't exactly advised while she was driving.
"Oooh, so you're trying to butter me up to get me to tell you? Got it now."
Rolling her eyes, Punz started to say something but they were just turning off the highway, dwindling down the slow spiral of the offramp onto a local route. Once they were at a red light, she asked, "Are you going to be a jerk this whole time?"
"Not once we're there. I promise, we'll get the 'surprise' portion of our day out of the way, and move on to real fun."
"Shishkabob? Speedboats? Um…" They both laughed, and Punz shook her head and leaned back. "Alright, alright. I give up; I can wait, I guess."
And she wouldn't be waiting much longer. The fancy building that they were nearing seemed like something out of a utopian science fiction movie, with a big white dome as part of the structure. They parked, and moved toward their destiny – whatever it was.
"The sign told me squat," Punz sighed. "What are you trying to-"
"Anna! Jennifer!"
The voice that rang out in greeting as they entered the air-conditioned building was highly familiar. Anna's whole demeanour seemed to perk up as Elsa came into view, wearing her own nice-but-casual clothes, a light blue tank top and white capris. She looked, to Punz, like she had already been there a while.
"Elsa!" Anna cried, a grin on her face. There was no way Punz could hope to match it. She tried, valiantly, but it was hopeless. Probably for the best that they only had eyes for each other.
"I'll go and um… check it out," she said, voice soft. "Good to see you, Mrs McFly…"
Heart sunk to her shoes, Jennifer turned away from them. Elsa made Anna happy. What sort of girlfriend would she be if she denied Anna something that made her happy? But then, a little voice piped up, 'What kind of girlfriend is Anna if she didn't realise that this kind of surprise is not a good one?' Was she wrong for hoping it would just be she and Anna? Elsa hadn't even crossed her mind! Biting her lip to distract from the pain thudding from her heart and threatening – stupidly – to make her cry, she began making her way towards the front counter.
Before she could take a single step, four hands stopped her.
"Whoa, whoa, where do you think you're going?" Anna asked.
"To, um… to find out what my surprise is?" Again, she tried for a smile, and managed one. Though it wasn't a particularly winning smile, at least she had found that much within herself when she felt so disappointed.
But for some reason, Anna still looked like a cat with a canary in its mouth. She didn't know what Elsa looked like; she didn't want to look at her just now. "Can't you wait a moment for the rest of us?"
"Why? I thought… well, aren't you dropping me off? And if I don't find out what I'm doing, I can't start doing it." She was trying to be reasonable. Why was Anna still teasing her?
"Dear, don't you know where you are?" Elsa's palm gestured toward the sign above the counter: 'Regal Springs.' It didn't ring a bell. The confusion must have shown in her face, because she went on, "It's a day spa, sweetheart. We're all going to get mud masks and cucumbers on our eyes, and all that nonsense - make a real girls' day of it."
"But you," Anna added with that same smirk, "are going to be the one getting alllll the nonsense. We're basically just here to make sure you don't have to lift a finger."
Punz shook her head, still too upset to fully grasp what they were trying to tell her. "Huh? I don't really get it. And I've never been to a spa, so I don't know what 'all the nonsense' is, anyway."
After glancing between the other two for a moment, Anna said, "Elsa, would you mind getting us checked in?" As her youthful-looking mother moved to the nearest receptionist with nothing but a nod, Anna took Jennifer's arm and led her just far enough away so they wouldn't be overheard. "Hey, what's up? I thought you would be excited."
"But I didn't know I wanted a spa day," she tried to joke.
"Maybe you didn't. But you're getting one. From now until tomorrow morning, only one person's needs matter: a certain Jennifer Punzel. So whether you want to do seaweed wraps and acupuncture and all that, or just sit in the sauna for five hours, you got it. And we'll be right there to fetch you water bottles and anything else you need."
Anna was smiling, something soft and welcoming. It slowly slipped from her face when Jennifer began tearing up, and she wasn't given a chance to say anything – offer any excuses or encouragement – before she was pulled into a hug. Punz's arms circled her tightly.
Of course it was obvious now how much she needed this. Anna had noticed the way she didn't look at Elsa, and the check-in excuse was a flimsy one. She just hadn't realised how bad it truly was. Maybe Punz was a better liar than Anna had thought, because while she knew her girlfriend still had some things to work out regarding Elsa, she hadn't realised that it made her think so little of herself. That she thought she was just… a second option.
And no matter how many times Anna told her that she loved her, mere words wouldn't be enough. Especially not as they fell into domesticity. Their relationship was constant and dependable, so every single time Elsa popped back into Anna's life, Anna couldn't help but react with a joy and a passion that was often less obvious in her relationship with Punz. She no longer showed the same desperation for touch and togetherness that Anna felt with Elsa, because it was more spread out over the everyday closeness. She had no chance to miss Jennifer that way.
But that didn't mean she didn't value her every bit as much. And at a loss at how to fully convey how much she needed Punz, cherished her, Anna had come to Elsa with a simple idea: take action. Show her how much she was needed, and show her that she wasn't any kind of backup girlfriend. Moreover, she wanted to show her that both of them wanted her to be happy, too.
"O-okay," she laughed shakily, petting along Jennifer's back when she heard her sob. "It's okay. Maybe surprising you with it wasn't such a hot idea; it'd still be fun if we just told you what we were planning."
"No, no," Punz whispered into her shoulder, clinging a little tighter. "I'm sorry, I don't… I just got the wrong idea. Wow, I sure am a dope sometimes!"
"You thought we were gonna drop you off and leave you to get seaweeded all by yourself?" When Punz stiffened, she laughed again and kissed her neck. "It's okay, dude. I can kinda see how you might get that impression, but I swear, that was never the plan. But, um…"
When the silence had gone on for a while, she pulled back to look up at Anna. "But?"
"But if you want Elsa to go away, she can. I promise it won't disappoint me, and she'll understand. You thought it would be a surprise between the two of us; that's on me for not really realising how it would look."
"Why is Elsa here?" Punz sniffled instead of answering Anna's question. And then she pulled back and wiped her eyes. "I mean, you could pamper me the same way without her. Not that I'm saying she's gotta go! Just like, I dunno… she probably has better things to be doing."
"She doesn't, Jen," Anna told her softly, with a smile in her eyes. "You might not believe us, but she really does like you. Maybe not the same way I do, and not the same way you like me. But it's a lot more than you seem to think she does, and she's been kind of hoping to show you a little more than she's been able to in the past."
Though as she looked into her girlfriend's eyes, Anna realised something she probably should have far earlier. Even as she held Jennifer's face between her hands, rubbing the tears still staining her cheeks, she wasn't sure how to broach this particular issue. She could say, "Why wouldn't she?", but that would only give Punz time to think of all the reasons why not. So instead, she moved her arms to let Punz fall into them once again.
"After all, you're the most wonderful woman I could ever have fallen in love with – Elsa included. Of course she likes you."
Sniffling, Punz nodded. Anna could faintly feel a dampness against her shoulder, and it pained her to know that she was the cause. Punz seemed to realise, because the next words from her were, "I'm sorry. I'm ruining your surprise…"
"God, shut up," Anna scolded, very gently. "You haven't ruined a single thing. Today is about you, and only you."
Above Punz's head, she could see Elsa waiting, politely looking at literally anything other than the two girls just off to the side. Even from the distance, Anna could see the faint lines on her face; the tension and the guilt. Anna knew, because she felt it herself.
"I meant what I said," she whispered, still looking at Elsa. "If you want it to just be the two of us, we can do that. I won't be upset or anything, and neither will she. This is your day, not ours."
Nodding against Anna's shoulder once more, Punz slowly drew away. Her eyes were red and puffy, and she kept them focused on the space between them instead of directly at Anna.
"I… want to spend time with you," she began. And of course Anna was a little disappointed, but it wasn't because it meant she wouldn't get to spend time with Elsa. It was because Jennifer didn't want to spend time with the other woman in her life that meant as much to her. Still, she couldn't fault her for wanting some time alone for just the two of them.
"No big deal. I'll go and let her know-"
"Wait." Biting her lip, Punz briefly rubbed at her eyes, wiping away the moisture there. "I want to spend time with you, but… I think maybe having Elsa here will make it more fun, too…"
"Are you sure?" she asked softly. "Not just saying it to make me happy? Because if you are, I'll kick your butt." It worked; it got her to laugh and nod, and Anna smiled. "Okay, cool."
Then she waved Elsa over. If they were going to start their day of pampering Jennifer, she thought it would be a good idea to kick it off with the comfort she needed most while her emotions were running high. The foreign hand on her shoulder made Jennifer start, but she relaxed as soon as she heard Elsa's voice whispering into her hair.
"Sorry. I did ask Anna if you liked surprises… maybe next time, we'll just plan our trips like normal people."
"N-no, it's fine!" Jennifer piped up. Her voice sounded falsely cheerful, so Anna gave a little grunt that made her sigh. "Alright, so it wasn't fine at first, but like… that's only because I got the wrong idea, I guess. So maybe next time, tell me once we get here?"
Anna nodded her understanding. "Yeah. She, um, she thought we were dropping her and running off to do our own thing."
"Oh God," Elsa breathed when she heard that part. "I can see how that would be upsetting." Her lips pressed into Punz's crown as she petted up and down one of her arms. "It's alright… neither of us is leaving you alone today. Or we will if you ask, but not a moment before. Alright?"
There was a brief silence as the three women embraced. Anna tried not to think about the weird looks they were getting from passersby. Then Jennifer whispered, "You can probably let me pee by myself. Speaking of which… kinda gotta do that now."
"Alright," Anna snorted as the embrace was broken. "Elsa, are we all set?"
"Here are our questionnaires," she said, handing them out. "They're mostly a formality, and a way for the staff to find out if we have any specific needs."
So they filled out the forms, which only asked basic things like if they had any back pain, or allergies, or other medical needs. As they wrote, a staff member came by and offered to remove their shoes for them; both Punz and Anna were a little surprised, but Elsa merely stepped out of her heels. She had obviously been to a spa more than once. Punz seemed a little self-conscious because she was wearing sneakers and removed her socks on her own, then sighed in relief now that she was barefoot. Then they were given soft fuzzy slippers to replace them.
With the questionnaires finished, they were shown through into the changing room. That was when Elsa opened the bag she had brought along; inside were three swimsuits, and two of them were ones Anna and Punz already owned. Anna had given everything to Elsa so the surprise would be intact. So they quickly showered, just enough to rinse off, and put the swimsuits on to continue with their experience.
"I really don't know what to expect," Punz was saying as the spa director led them to the next part of their day. "Like, people really do this all the time? It seems weird."
"We've been booked in for the full package. Expect to be pampered to within an inch of your life," Anna said, grinning. Punz returned it shyly.
"First up, the massages," Elsa interjected, very softly, as though she didn't want to disturb them. Anna wouldn't have been surprised if Elsa felt lucky to still be part of the fun. "We also have mani-pedis and spa and sauna planned. There's a few other things you can try if you want, like acupuncture and cupping, but we haven't booked them yet."
At the last two suggestions, Punz gave a little shiver. "Uhhh, maybe not this time…?"
"Ohh, so there's going to be a next time, is that what you're saying?" Anna's tone was light and teasing, and it made Punz heat up in a terrible blush. She got a kiss on her cheek for her trouble, and a smile from Elsa.
Suddenly, it struck her that today might not be the disaster she feared after all.
~ o ~
First up were massages. It felt a bit odd, coming to a place like this as a group and then being split up on their own. Even odder were Anna's grin and her whispered words of, "Whatever they do in there, remember that you're my girlfriend."
That particular mystery was solved very, very quickly. Punz had never had a massage before. She was expecting a little bit of pain, especially around her shoulders and lower back – places where her muscles were twisted into knots, too much university coffee and bad posture. What she had not been expecting was how magical the masseur's hands were against her skin.
Which sort of begged the question of "How did Anna know?", while at the same time her mind emptied of everything but the massage and her body's reaction to it. Anna's words definitely made sense now. Maybe some other time she would be a little embarrassed at how much she moaned, but in the here and now, she couldn't be bothered. It felt too incredible.
The masseuse chuckled gently and told her, "It happens all the time, don't worry," as she finished with that foot and moved back up to start at the other thigh and work downward. Punz kept worrying that she would go under the towel, but it never happened; they were professionals, after all.
When she was finished, oils all over her skin and generally feeling relaxed, Punz dressed in her bathing suit again and rejoined her girlfriend and future-mother-in-law for the mani-pedis. They put a face mask on her first before they started in on her cuticles.
"How are you enjoying it so far?" Elsa asked.
"Well… I don't know, I thought it would be… that there'd be more to it. Not that it's a bad thing!" she hastily added, and Anna giggled quietly. "Like, I was worried about all this crazy stuff, but it all feels very natural now. Just weird that other people are doing it for me."
"Good," Anna snorted before sighing in relaxation. "Ohhh, this is so nice… we should do this every weekend."
"I think that would get expensive," Elsa laughed as the tech moved down to start in on her toes. "But we could put on face masks and watch bad TV."
It was almost a mumble when Punz said, "I like that plan. I'd vote for it in the election."
"You sound high," Anna laughed, and the other two laughed with her.
Eventually, their nails were all flawless and they cooled off in the swimming pool for an hour or so, paddling around and chatting with each other off and on. After that, there was a light lunch in the cafeteria, which seemed to mainly serve healthy vegan options. Some of them weren't very flavourful, but some were. They all managed to get something they enjoyed – Elsa had a Greek salad with feta, while Anna had a sandwich. They had a wonderful display of fruit, so that was what Punz ended up sticking to since her appetite wasn't very large.
Some of the watermelon juice dribbled down her chin, and she hastily wiped it away, asking Elsa for a napkin. When it happened again, Elsa beat her to it by gently dabbing at the corner of her mouth. She did not do it in a way that reminded Punz of a mother; no, Elsa's eyes were too soft for that. Still, it was rather motherly of her. The way Anna paused to watch didn't help, but the blush that rose to Punz's cheeks wasn't borne of embarrassment or any type of dislike for Elsa's actions. But it wasn't anything that needed commenting on, so no one did.
After lunch, there were only two more activities: the hot tub, and the sauna. After that, they would have just enough time for cool showers and then to head home. In the back of her mind, Punz wondered how she could ever have entertained the idea of sending Elsa away. True, yes, she had expected this day to be about her and Anna, but Elsa hadn't gotten in the way of that. She had simply been another person to talk to – another person with which to enjoy her little getaway.
And Punz certainly was enjoying time spent with Elsa. This was nowhere near as awkward as she had thought it would be. This Elsa was so different to "Mrs McFly", and yet so similar. She remembered when she first heard the news that her girlfriend was dating her mother. Never would she have imagined that, from then to now, she might make a friend. Because that was who Elsa was, now; they could never have a typical "you're the mother of my girlfriend" relationship, but at this point, what was typical about any of this? All she knew was that she was happy, and Anna was happy. And if Elsa was a part – a big part – of that happiness, then that was fine, too. More than fine: it was wonderful.
"Maybe we could figure out a way to move here," Anna sighed as she floated in the bubbling water, Jennifer across from her. "It's so good…"
"What if we got jobs here over the summer? Like… maybe they'll let us do a live-in worker thing. Stay in rooms and then work during the day, use the services at night…"
The bridge of her freckled nose crinkled as she laughed. "We'd get sick of this place. I mean, probably would take a while… but we would. Maybe it's better that we only do it once in a while."
"So you definitely wanna come back?"
"Yeah. Don't you?"
Punz smiled. She could be completely and totally honest when she said, "Yes. Yes, I do." And that was the best part.
"Do what?" Elsa asked as she joined them, slipping into the water with two glasses of juice in her hands.
"Want to come back. And I told you that you didn't have to get me anything!"
"Dear, today is about you." Her hand elegantly moved towards Punz, offering, and after a heartbeat of indecision, Punz took it. Elsa smiled softly at her. "We know the staff are taking care of most of our needs, but the few things they aren't, Anna and I are doing, so just get used to it."
"I'm trying, but it's still weird! You wiped my mouth, you even went to get me another pear when we ran out of pears! And Anna keeps fanning me anytime she sees a sweat drop on my lip!"
"Oh, speaking of which…" Anna fanned her again, and Punz rolled her eyes. Both of the other women giggled. "There. Her Royal Princessness has been cooled again."
The jets only stopped once, and only for as long as it took Anna to scurry out and turn them back on again. When she returned, she squished herself in between Punz and Elsa. It was odd for a second, until she grabbed Punz by the hips and pulled her onto her lap – causing a short shriek to erupt from her girlfriend. After the initial surprise, it was rather easy for Punz just to close her eyes and relax.
Even better was when Elsa's hands pulled at her floating feet, rubbing at the soles. It didn't take long for Punz to melt, completely and utterly. Anna's hands smoothed gently against her tummy, and she felt as though she could fall asleep in the midst of all this bliss.
Once the jets stopped again, they slowly clambered from the tub. The cool air destroyed any of the sleepiness Punz had felt, rejuvenating her – at least enough to give her the strength to visit the sauna. But not before she went to the bathroom. All that floating and hydrating had made it necessary.
When she made it into the main sauna room, Anna and Elsa weren't there. That was strange. Where did they get to? She headed back out and looked around, then spotted Anna a little further down the hallway.
"Hey," she sighed, trotting up to her. "What's wrong? Why aren't you in there?"
"Oh, we got a private room," she said with a slight smile, pointing to the door she was leaning against. "A little pricier, but Dad's got plenty of money, and Mom- I mean, Elsa actually has a pretty decent savings of her own. I think she invested in Microsoft or Apple back in the day, one of those. I dunno."
Smiling a little wider, Punz edged past her when she pushed the door open and said, "That's cool! I mean, I'm not gonna look down my nose at having a room all to ourselves or whatever. Just didn't know I'd be… I'd… be…"
Jennifer Punzel certainly didn't know she would be walking in on a stark naked Elsa McFly. Well, that wasn't strictly true; a towel was draped over her lap, covering the most private of areas, but that was all there was to keep her from being totally on display for the startled coed. It was quite a change from the one-piece she had been wearing before.
"I…"
"Punz!" Anna hissed, voice clearly amused as she nudged her a little further in so she could follow and shut the door behind them. "Nice roadblock you make there."
One of Elsa's eyes slit open, and she smiled to see Jennifer there. "Oh, good. I started to think you fell in."
"Way to sound like an old lady, Elsa," Anna sighed, already plopping onto the wooden bench next to her. Of course, Anna was still wearing her green bikini, and certainly didn't act like she was going to strip out of it, as well. Just leaned back against the wall and sighed contentedly.
All the while, Punz was simply trying to keep her gaze off Elsa – trying and not quite succeeding. Unbidden, her eyes were drawn to the skin on display, and truly, it wasn't really hard to imagine why Anna was so drawn to this woman. And it wasn't just to do with her beauty.
Punz believed them when they said today was for her. There was no doubt in her mind that their intentions were to let her enjoy herself; to show her that she was part of their bizarre little family, and that they could control themselves enough to remember she was there. Still, there was an inexorable pull – towards both Elsa and Anna – that hadn't quite been there at the beginning of the day. They had given her much more than a spa trip: they had given her an opportunity to see them – Elsa in particular. See her fun side, see her as more the woman that Anna saw, rather than the old mom Punz had once believed she was.
Coming back to herself with a start, she realised that there were two sets of eyes on her, accompanied by two gentle, if somewhat wicked, smirks. Ducking her head, she scurried forward, arms crossed over her chest as she sat on Anna's other side and further away from Elsa. That would have been fine, had it not put her directly in front of her.
Elsa at least seemed to realise that her embarrassment was from the absurdity of the situation, and when she spoke, it did actually help to reduce the tension. "It's amazing what the future can do. Forget face-lifts – age regression therapy yields so much more satisfying results. And look what they can do with boobs!"
And then she looked down at her own chest, bouncing them in her hands, a subtle invitation to let everyone else look without feeling like a lecher. It worked, and despite the warmth still circulating around Punz's cheeks that had nothing to do with the sauna, she let herself look.
They were quite perky for a woman who was actually slightly older than her own mother. Quite round, and of generous size. She knew from having been over to Anna's house quite a few times before this time-hopping nonsense was a factor that Elsa's breasts were not any larger than before; just elevated a little higher. Even without futuristic treatments, she wouldn't have thought of them as "saggy" in the slightest. But there could be no denying how youthful she looked now.
"Jennifer approves," Elsa remarked to Anna, who giggled. When Punz looked away at the heater and the rocks stacked atop it, she chuckled herself. "It's really alright; I would be curious if I were you. This type of anti-aging procedure doesn't exist in our era."
"Y-yeah," she agreed hesitantly. Hoping it would make her look less shy, she actually did get up and pour a little water over the rocks, as if that had been the only reason for her staring at it. An obvious pretence. "And it looks great! They look great, I mean – y-your- well, all of you!"
As Jennifer sat back down, wishing she could disappear into the steam rising from the rocks, Elsa's smile turned a little less wicked. "Thank you. I'm definitely a satisfied customer."
"Me, too," Anna purred, a little more lewd, and Elsa rolled her eyes. But instead of pushing that further, Anna instead turned back to Punz. "Do you think you'd do it?"
"Huh?"
"What Elsa did. Y'know, in the future, when we start to get wrinkly? I'm not really sure if I want to. Obviously it worked on her, but like, there was a good reason for her to do it, I guess."
That got Jennifer thinking, and she was grateful for something else to focus on other than the alluring body in front of her. "Well… I might, yeah. Maybe not the whole thing to end up looking half my age, but the organ stuff to live longer? Sure. I mean, I like you guys a lot, and I want to be around as long as I can."
"We agree there," Elsa told her gently, reaching over to pat her knee. It was very brief, so that wasn't the problem; it was that she saw sweat-glistening breasts swinging very slightly, and she felt hypnotised by the movements. But soon enough, Elsa was already sitting back with a casual sigh. "I'm going to double down on my treatments, and on skipping over time. So you two can catch up."
"Why?" Punz asked. "I just mean… you already look like you're barely thirty. If that!"
The smile Elsa gave her was soft and sweet. "I still feel a little older. When I can eat leftover pizza for breakfast and get up early for work after a night of drinking, we'll know my body is in tip-top shape."
What a shape it was, though. Punz really did try her best not to stare, but as the room heated further and they all began to sweat, it was harder to see Elsa as a mother than it was seeing her as… well, as someone she might not be adverse to a little steamy action of another kind.
But that was craziness. Even if she forgot about her being both Anna's mother and her other girlfriend – a nigh impossible task – it was still cheating on Anna. Wasn't it? Sure, they were all in the same room, much like the time they had both given Anna a "birthday present". But this was different. Both she and Elsa were dating Anna, so that was already what they would be doing separately. This was something she would never be doing with Elsa McFly on a normal day. So why now?
"Punz, you're staring again," Anna giggled, crossing her legs in the other direction. But Elsa was staring in a different way. Her brow was creased in worry.
"Jennifer, is me being nude making you uncomfortable? As in… not just a little. You almost look sick."
"Huh?" Putting on a fake smile, she waved both hands in front of herself. "O-oh, no, no! It's fine, I'm fine! Really!"
"It's no trouble, I can put my towel on. Or move to the public room." She didn't look upset or offended in the slightest; only concerned.
She also looked incredibly comfortable – moreso than Punz, or even Anna. The last thing anyone wanted was to ruin the quiet peace they had created between themselves. But…
Punz could definitely challenge herself. Swallowing, she smiled at Elsa – this time a true one – and shook her head. "It's fine," she repeated. "In fact, I think I might join you. May as well take advantage of the private room while I can."
And without further ado, she reached behind her back to pull at the drawstring of her bikini. There was only the briefest moment of hesitation before it fell, but when it did, Punz didn't feel the nerves or anxiety she half-expected; just an excited little flutter in the pit of her stomach. Elsa's eyes widened, just a touch, and the way they flittered over her bare chest…?
It felt good to be looked at that way.
Really good.
"Whoa," Anna said with a disbelieving little laugh. "Punz, look at you, stepping up your game!"
Though Elsa did give a quick little golf clap, which made Jennifer roll her eyes, what she said was, "You don't have to do that to make me feel more comfortable. Or to prove anything to us. I can sit nude and you can sit in a bathing suit; it's perfectly normal for a sauna."
Something in that stuck in her mind: 'Prove anything to us.' That's what it was: she wanted to prove something to them, and to herself. That she wasn't just the nervous third wheel that Anna had to be careful around because she was so sensitive, so anxious all the time. The thought of her initial reaction when she saw Elsa was at the spa came back to her, and she felt a flash of shame. That wasn't fair to them. Anna had never truly made her feel like she wasn't as good as Elsa; she got more of her attention on particular days, sure, but her thinking it meant she wasn't equally important was all in her own head. It was about time she started holding her own, and trusting Anna.
Trusting Elsa, too. Opening herself up to not only the one she was closest to first, but both of the McFly women. Maybe not fully in the same way, but the days of shutting Elsa out were over.
"You just like showing off that hot body of yours," she playfully accused Elsa, earning her a raise of an eyebrow. Then she took a single breath to brace herself before she added, "But I'm pretty hot, too. S-so there."
Then she shucked her bottoms. Anna laughed and clapped again, but Elsa was merely watching with interest. As usual, her expressions were a lot harder to read, but she thought she saw a little desire mixed in with the curiosity, the concern… and the growing respect.
Sitting primly back on her seat, Punz still crossed her legs. It was obvious she hadn't shaved – she didn't care to, and Anna loved her without the need for trimming down there. Even though Elsa's own reactions were enough to make her bold, no one but Anna had ever seen that much of her. But she was swiftly realising that it didn't have to stay that way, and the thought sent a shiver down her spine; one she was luckily able to suppress.
"Aren't you going to join us?" she asked Anna, in part simply a way to shift the attention off herself. It worked, briefly. Elsa's eyes flickered to Anna, encouragement written on her lips. It was only a second, though, before Punz felt herself being scrutinised once more. Through all of it, though, Elsa never openly ogled her. Not the way she had done to Elsa.
"Oh… I don't know," Anna said with a quiet laugh. She seemed to be doing enough ogling for all three of them. Of course, that made more sense since she was both their girlfriend, and it sort of went with the territory.
"What's the matter, McFly?" Jennifer purred under her breath. "Chicken?"
Elsa's leg extended just far enough to nudge Punz's knee with her newly-polished toes. Kicking her with no true force. "Don't do that. Let her pick on her own."
That and Punz's little laugh did erase the nervous look in Anna's eyes; even if she had been smiling all the while, clearly she wasn't as ready to disrobe as Elsa had been, and as Punz had convinced herself she was - and the goading had made her feel a little defensive, even if only briefly. "It's okay, Mom. Uh, I mean, Elsa. She's just teasing."
"Oh, yeah, definitely," Punz said quickly, mostly to Elsa. "She knows I'd never think she's a chicken! I mean, she doesn't even have feathers!" The joke was so bad she face-palmed herself before anyone else could beat her to it.
"Oh, God," Elsa snorted with a shake of her head.
"But you know," Anna was musing, voice slow and contemplative. The room was silent for a moment, save only for the slight hiss of steam rising from the rocks in the corner. "I mean, this is a private room, and you've both seen my goods plenty of times…"
Punz lowered her hand just in time to see Anna undoing her bikini top. She was definitely going slower, self-conscious that she was the last to strip and they were both watching her. All in all, however, it only took a few seconds.
It was so… strange. Anna and Elsa were more alike than she ever would have guessed, and the mere fact that Punz found herself in a position to compare their bodies brought a fresh blush to her face. She needed to distract herself. So, pulling her legs up onto the wooden bench, she flipped over to crawl to Anna. It wasn't the most comfortable way to move closer, but for whatever reason, it felt less revealing than simply standing up and walking over.
Elsa still had that faint look of amusement on her face, attention focused on the two girls. That attention was what gave Punz the courage to pause for just a moment to send her a wink before leaning down and kissing Anna on her lips.
All Anna had the time to say was "Wha-" before they were entangled. It was sweet, gentle, with just a hint of heat. And Punz was so happy. A stupid part within her mind was still worried that there would be some kind of negative reaction from Anna. Some "No no, we're having Three's Company time, we don't kiss like that right now." Really stupid now that she thought about it.
When she pulled back, she saw Anna was definitely a little affected, though still smiling and pleased with the situation. Her hand came up to pet over Jennifer's shoulder.
"Hey there. Thanks for stopping by. I, um… I'm enjoying this little visit."
"Cornball," Jennifer accused, and they both giggled. Then she looked over to Elsa again. "You're… sure it's not weird watching us like this?"
"I think the term 'weird' went out the window 88 miles an hour ago," she laughed. Then she stood, still holding the towel in front of her lap, and crossed to take Punz's recently-vacated seat.
"What's wrong? Too hot by the steamer?" It was a very light tease, but still a tease. She felt proud of herself for not just blushing and stammering all the time. For not bringing down the whole mood again.
However, Elsa was about to prove that no matter how hard she tried, she could never compete with the master and her lifetime of experience. All she had to say was, "Actually, it's quite a bit hotter over here."
Given the part of Punz she could view more easily now that she had moved, no explanation was necessary. For the sake of her own sanity, she was trying not to think about how Elsa's eyes could take in her thighs and her ass... and possibly more. It was getting to her, but she didn't want to admit that - or explore it any deeper.
But while she was distracted, Anna had taken it upon herself to exact her revenge. Warm lips met Punz's, and nimble fingers threaded through her short brown locks to pull her close. She couldn't help the soft moan that fell from her lips and onto Anna's. The rest of her body couldn't help but react, either, and she was – somewhere, in the back of her mind – grateful for the fact that Elsa had moved. Any dampness could be attributed to the sauna. Her pebbled nipples, on the other hand, could not.
If anything, though, that just made it all that much worse. As Anna kissed her, fingertips ticking at her skin, a single thought flashed through Punz's mind – one, she felt, may just end up being her undoing.
I wonder what Elsa's lips taste like…?
Luckily, it didn't seem that Elsa was thinking any such thing. Her teasing about "the view" was only teasing… so far. Though she could definitely feel a thigh resting against her toes, it wasn't the same as her actually trying to touch her. Which was a good thing.
Wasn't it?
"Mmm," Anna sighed as she let her go, smiling up at her. "Thank you."
"You're quite welcome." They both shared a grin. Then Punz decided to sit back; she'd had her fun. Anna scooted a little closer.
And suddenly, Jennifer was seated between her girlfriend and her future mother-in-law. That had not been the plan, and probably hadn't been Anna's plan, either… but she had a sneaking suspicion that Elsa was entirely aware of how this would end up when she moved. The closeness of the two gorgeous bodies, paired with gorgeous faces, was doing nothing to lower her heart rate.
"So I was thinking," Elsa said, perhaps trying to gently change the subject so Punz wouldn't feel so nervous. "After the spa, we should find a quaint little restaurant nearby. If I had my phone, I'd look one up now."
"Oh!" Anna grabbed for the little bag she had that only held their locker key, two bottles of juice and her phone, which itself was in a sealed sandwich baggie to protect it from moisture. Punz admired her for being so ingenious. "I can look that up."
"Wait, here." Elsa took the phone once it was unlocked, then opened the camera app.
"ELSA! Oh my GOD!"
"Relax," she chuckled, holding it aloft and tilting up slightly. "Just… there. No boobies. Smile!" They all smiled, faces rosy and covered in sweat and steam, and Elsa snapped a picture of them from the collarbones up. It would make for a good memory, even if they could never show anyone because it would raise too many questions about Elsa's age.
A memento of this wild, crazy moment… even though it was far from over.
To Be Continued…

(New Undertale AU/AT Made: UnderCounter)
(UnderCounter Is Made by Me/ IceFire Mørøki(Vegito), Story About this Au Might be On my YT Named IceFire Moroki(Vegito), If you wanna Draw the Gacha Designs For a Bit of help with my Au That Would be nice, but credit me if you wish)
⚠️(UnderCounter is a Alternate Universe, which means it's gonna have some complicated and probably original plot lines then the original Canon AU(Undertale)⚠️
⚠️(This Explanation might contain violence, mention of killing, mention of abu$e & Su!c!de & ETC)⚠️
-(Undertale Is Owned By Toby Fox)
-Backstory(Part 1: The Nighmurr Family)
This AU Is Basically a Opposite Counter Part of the Original Game, But with Some Difference & Similarities and Connection to My Other Undertale Multiverse AU.
But Before We get to the Main Characters, let's start with the Dreemurr Family or in UnderCounter we call them the Nighmurr Family + Risk & Dandelion
Asgore Dreemurr's Counter Part: (Asvore Nighmurr)
His Pronouns: He/Him
-Asvore Is Similar to Asgore, He Is Also King Of the Underground like his counterpart, but their personality's have their differences and similarities.
Asvore has a personality of a warrior and and a proud king, he's also a bit cocky, prideful, smarter & wiser then the OG Asgore.
Kinda like Asgore, he tried killing the 6 Fallen Humans, but when he was gonna put his plan into action, he realized something. There was a more possible way to break the barrier, before Rhara death, their was a way for humans to learn magic from monsters, but this method hadn't been used or tested since the war. Since Asvore wanted to try a different approach rather than killing 6-7 Humans to get their souls, He would take them in and adopted them so he could train them to use magic and help break the barrier. He wasn't a bad father, he is naturally calm when it comes to his children & boy was Torfiel happy about having more human children.
(Since Asvore never Killed the humans, He was still with Torfiel..unlike Asgore & Toriel)
When the other 5 Fallen Humans came, he let some of the humans live with trusted monsters(which I won't spoil yet, until I explain them).
Asvore is very pleased and quite happy he thought this threw + with the help of the judge and the Royal guards and several other monsters, he help train the humans in their own unique way(sometimes fighting, but not that seriously).
(His stats are still the same as Asgore's, but also stronger in different routes.
-Neutral route: still the same.
-Genocide Route: Literally one of the hardest bosses to compete to sans boss battle.
-True Pacifist Route: A little weaken but still strong hitter.
-Hard Mode: ....DEMON
Toriel Counterpart: (Torfiel Nighmurr):
Her Pronouns: She/Her
-Torfiel is actually quite similar to Toriel, She's Caring, Kind, great queen, & the best mother you can ask for. But she also have her differences Aswell.
-Torfiel has a bit of a flirty, jokester & embarrassing mom personality, like when you the protagonist want to go to the underground, but Toriel blocks your way until you convince or kills her, but Torfiel will probably play a trick or puzzle on you to find a key to open the gate to get their, but she has the key the entire time...which is frustrating.
-But she a fun character to hang around with.
-She doesn't hate or don't like Asvore since he didn't kill the humans to get their souls, so their still married and living happily
-her strength is the definition of ruthless, if your fighting her, she will play tricks trying to trick the player on their name move, she fights dirty, but fair sometimes. Shes somewhere at Asvore level but by a little bit.
(Her Stats in Each Route)
-Neutral Route: Same As Toriel
-Genocide Route: Strong AF, but still manageable
-True Pacifist Route: Weaken
-Hard Mode: Literally Irritating with Her trickster personality
(Asriel Dreemurr's Opposite: Asmiel Nighmurr)
Their Pronouns: He/Him
-Asmiel is different from the Asriel we all know, he's personality have some differences & similarities Aswell.
-He's A quite, Prideful, prankster, goofy, smart & cautious
-Him and Rhara's backstory are still the same as Asriel and Chara. But one major difference is that asmiel had the guts to hit back, he threw some fire but not to some major places, just some that wouldn't be a problem. He wanted to just scare them away, not hurt them.
But...still ended the same way.
After that he became dandelion aka Flowey in UnderCounter
The difference with Dandelion is that he is not that genocidal or sadistic than his original counterpart, he's more peaceful and protectful of the underground probably because he still has the memories and mind of Asmiel.
(He also still has his final form from the true pacifist route, but he's a bit tougher and a trickster, Hey, like mother like son.)
(His Stats In Each route)
-Neutral Route: Same as his original even in his flowey appearance
-Genocide Route: literally hard to dodge, his attacks will try to trick your outcome, but their's always a way to avoid it(hint: left bottom)
-True Pacifist Route: Weaken
-Hard Mode: Will switch it up his pattern, which will make it more harder
(Chara's Counterpart: Rhara Nighmurr)
(Also I Believe in the Player theory so no Evil Chara in this AU)
Their Pronouns: They/Them
-Rhara before going into the underground, went through a level of abu$e growing up, they went to the underground to.... ANYWAY. After falling, Rhara met Asmiel and took them to meet the Nighmurr Family, which is kinda the same story with OG Chara story.
-Their Death is still the same, they ate the buttercups and cause them to die the same way as Chara.
-the plan they made with Asmiel is still the same as Canon(I think)
-after the whole humans attacking Asmiel thing. Rhara became a ghost
-They then started help guide Risk through the underground, which was really helpful of them, even with the information they gives you, they also tries to throw in a few hints to be helpful on difficult taskes.
-They are Helpful, joyful, sarcastic and so on, they are perfect guide through the whole game.
(their forms threw the routes)
Neutral: Helpful as always
Genocide: the players take control, but helps restart the world when you want to make the right choice
True pacifist route: still the same in neutral but with more detail
Hard mode: she won't give Hints, but only hard ones that might get confusing.
(Frisk Counterpart: Risk)
Pronouns: He/Them
-Risk Is similar to Frisk, as the protagonist, it our job as to player to choose their actions, but there always a choice where Risk has to pick their own choice, which is not unavoidable.
-Personality: Cautious, Kind, & cheeky
-Backstory: His story is similar to Rhara, he went through a form of abu$e Aswell, but it was also because of her skin color(he's black in UnderCounter) racism was still their at the time, but because of the underground, somehow he aged slower.
That's all With the UnderCounter Nighmurr's, If you have questions please send or post them. This AU was made just for fun, but I want to see how it goes

note: hello everyone! i hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season and staying safe out there. i just wanted to drop this drabble i was able to whip up quickly in time for the holidays. i’m not sure when i’ll be back to being super active, but i don’t think it’s far from now as i am slowly getting back to working on my fic projects. thank you all again for your love and support, i truly am grateful for every single one of you. sending you all my love for the holidays ♥️
Tumblr media
It was a bad day from the start, even though you tried your hardest to persuade yourself that the little things didn't matter, that a bad day didn't define your entire life. But sometimes, you knew you just had to feel it out. You just had to process the fact that your day was rough, and that was okay. You needed to let out some steam, maybe sit in silence trying to gather yourself after the things you've experienced in one day.
That was all alright.
Well, it should be. Except the fact that everything around you didn't have to get spoiled because of a bad day. Your bad day shouldn't have been anyone else's— your bad day shouldn't have spoiled your dad's good day, your bad day shouldn't have spoiled Jungkook's good day.
Honestly, you don't even know why you're upset the way you are. Usually, these things wouldn't get to you so quickly. Usually, you're able to think rationally and pull yourself together. Usually, you can admit your wrongs and apologize, never throwing attitude or raising your voice unless the situation warranted that kind of response— never just out of the blue. It wasn't entirely your fault that your manager went off on you because apparently, you didn't order the supplies in time.. when in reality, you did. There was just a delay in shipment. It wasn't entirely your fault that the lady at the office yelled at you and called you names because her insurance didn't properly process her claim for her blood tests and procedures. You did your end of it properly, the rest of it didn't rest in your hands. You were hanging on a thread at this point. Then, it most certainly didn't help that your dad cancelled plans on you to hang out with his buddies last minute. It does hurt, truth be told, being that you've been trying to mend this relationship even though you've felt like every time you've taken one step forward, you'll take two steps back. It felt like a never-ending road.
You could have taken it and left the conversation on a good note, but you took the other route— throwing him some petty attitude, remarking that he didn't seem to care enough to fix this relationship like a good father would. Of course he'd hang out with his buddies, they were more important than his daughter. Of course he lost sight of that because of a cancelled father-daughter date. You had been looking forward to spending time with him, but of course, all the emotions already raging within you made you feel like you had been wanting it more than him. Maybe it was stupid.
You're frustrated, angry.
Annoyed.
Bothered.
Whatever it was though, a bad day shouldn't define your life. It should have never slipped through the cracks, presenting and disguising itself as the only definition of your life.
It was just one of them days.
"Fuck." You groaned, tossing your keys onto Jungkook's table, dropping your bag to the floor before throwing yourself onto his bed face down.
"H-Hold on, dude. Y/N just got here, let me— would you give me one fucking second!" Jungkook moves his mic away from his mouth, one part of his headset shoved away from his ear so he could hear you better. "Hi peanut. What's wrong?" His eyes are wide and doe-like through his clear frames as he continues to play his game, field of vision shifting from one corner of the tv to another while he furiously presses the buttons.
"Nothing." You mumbled.
"Sure doesn't sound like nothing."
"Just keep playing, Jungkook." You say with a little bit of sass before you fully turn to face his wall, your back now all he sees. He hears you let out a sigh, causing him to worry.
"Hey, start the round without me. I'll be right back." He scoffs. "Shut the heck up, Taehyung. The only reason why we're winning is because the team is carrying you and we're not letting you do shit. Yeah, yeah. Excuses." Jungkook shakes his head before sliding his headset off and tossing it aside. He sits on the edge of his bed, hand gently brushing the hair away from your face while you continue to stare at the wall. "Wanna tell me what's going on?"
"Didn't I just say to keep playing?" You don't mean to come at him with all this attitude, to be honest. Part of you couldn't really hear yourself right now, and he's a little taken aback at the sudden sourness. Although he knows you both have your days— this was different. You were completely blocking him out.
"Well, I'm not going to until I try and help you out first. The game isn't my priority."
"I never said I needed your help." He's pretty hurt, especially with the way you try and shrug his hand off of your shoulder when he's only trying to be here for you and comfort you.
"Please don't be like that." He deeply sighs.
"Like what?" Your tone is slightly more aggressive at this point, and you still haven't been able to keep your emotions in check. "I said it was nothing, Jungkook. Why don't you do what you do best and go back to playing your video games?" He almost flinches at the statement, watching as you move closer to the wall in the same, fetal position that you had been in. He knows it's nothing personal, he shouldn't take it personal.
But, damn. That hurt.
He was only trying to console you, bring you comfort, yet none of it was working and he felt like he was failing. That statement alone was enough to make it seem like he was a failure. Why wasn't he enough? He doesn't just 'play games,' he had more to him— you were always good at reminding him even on his lowest days. He wasn't sure how to navigate this. It's never been this hard to get through to you.
The more he thought about it, the more he took it personal. You being this upset was making him upset.  Instead of trying to talk to him, you were pushing him away and he felt the need to do the same. If you really wanted to play like that, then fine.
So be it.
"Um, okay." He sighs and shifts over, giving you the space you had indirectly asked for. And that's probably the last word you two had spoken to each other in the past hour or so, with Jungkook responding to Taehyung thru the mic from time to time.
You weren't sure why you were getting more annoyed, more restless, either. You knew this wasn't the way to go about things, especially if Jungkook played no part in how your day went. But still— you can't even lie, you were waiting for that reassurance from him and it never came. The first mistake you made was shutting him out, but the next mistake you made was assuming he'd understand your silent treatment and sassiness from the get go.
"So, are we just going to do this?"
"Do what?" Jungkook responds, eyes still on the TV in front of him.
"Sit in silence."
"Not really what I had in mind but looks like we are." You felt your tears welling up. Why was he handling it this way? You were wrong, you knew you were. But, you were having trouble fessing up to it right now.
"Wow."
"You wanted your space Y/N, so I'm giving that to you. I tried comforting you, but you didn't want it. What else do you want me to do?" He glances over his shoulder with a furrowed forehead before looking back at the screen. He didn't even keep contact for 5 seconds.
Most importantly— why the hell was he addressing you by your formal name in that tone? What ever happened to 'peanut' or 'princess?' 'Pretty,' even?
To be quite frank, Jungkook doesn't even understand you right now. You told him to go play games, yet you were over here pouting about the silence. You didn't want him near earlier, but now you do? He can tell you're indirectly asking for his attention, but what is he supposed to do with this? He loved you, loved you a lot, but he didn't think it was right to cave into it. He always wanted to give you everything, always wanted to do everything for you. But, not this way. Not when he had tried but was rejected from the beginning of his efforts, from the moment you walked into his room.
"Whatever Jungkook." You curled into your position even more, tears already streaming down your cheeks.
"Okay." Is all he responds with. And that— that is enough to set you off and throw a dumb ultimatum his way.
"If we aren't gonna do anything then I'll just leave."
"You're having a bad day and I'm not entirely sure what you want from me." He says softly, still hurt by the way you're acting towards him.
"I don't know, maybe a hug? A kiss? Some cuddling? You flat out just gave up and continued doing what you were doing." You said harshly, getting up from his bed to grab your things. He pauses the game after a quick 'hold on' through the mic before turning to you.
"How am I supposed to know what exactly you need at this moment? I tried reaching out to you earlier and you didn't want it. I don't think it's fair for you to assume I should know everything, Y/N. You and I both know that's not how it should be." His face slightly drops. "W-why are you so mad at me? I didn't do anything."
"Right, you didn't." You grabbed your things, shoving your bag strap up your shoulder. "I'll just talk to you later." Jungkook freezes, even as he watches you grab the rest of your things and head out of his room. Of course he's sad that you left, of course he wants to do right by you.
But what would he even apologize for? He wasn't sure.
Relationships.
"Hey, is peanut okay?" Hoseok pops his head into his room and Jungkook shrugs.
"I dunno. She had a bad day or something."
"Why didn't you ask?"
"What makes you think I didn't try and ask?!" His voice almost hits a high pitch at this point, but he manages to pull himself together before he could lose it entirely.
"I don't know?! I was just checking!" Jungkook sighs and shakes his head.
"I think she just needs to cool off."
"Maybe. Whatever it is, I'm sure you two will be good." Hoseok taps the door frame before walking back towards the living room. Kook really hopes so, because right now he's at a loss. He's not sure if he should blow up your phone, drive over or let you cool off on your own. Which, you're in conflict with yourself because you knew you weren't right for all of that, you knew you were in the wrong. Yet, here you were— running off and hoping it'd get brushed under the rug. That wasn't you. You couldn't leave Jungkook like that.
Should you wait a day and let things marinate?
Should you go back in a couple of hours, regardless of how late in the evening it'll be?
Should you just go back now?
You let yourself get home and ponder on your thoughts for a minute, but the more you thought about it, the more uneasy you felt. Even if it seemed like a good idea to let things settle overnight, you couldn't get him off of your mind. You wanted to apologize for acting the way you did, you wanted to make things right. None of this was his fault.
"Ugh, Y/N." You say to yourself as you grab your things to leave. "Why did you do that?" You questioned yourself, all the guilt coming down on you after you've given yourself that moment to sit and think clearly. Maybe you shouldn't have gone straight to Jungkook's after you've taken L after L, then all of this could have been avoided. You felt terrible for having acted out of character, for having assumed Kook would have known everything from the get-go. On top of that, you easily expected him to cave and be the person to pick up the pieces even when he had nothing to do with why your day turned out the way it did.
Parking the same spot, you quickly grab your things from the passenger's seat and head back up to his apartment. Jimin is the one to open the door again and he gives you the same warm welcome he always does. You walk straight towards Jungkook's room, knocking and poking your head in to see him still playing his game with Tae on the other end of that mic.
"Hey." He turns to look at you and his face softens.
"Hey."
"Can we talk?" He nods before pausing the game and letting Taehyung know he was going to step away for a second. You shut his door behind you as he places the controller and headset on the floor.
"What's up?" He watches you take a seat next to him on the edge of the bed.
"I'm so sorry, Kook. I didn't mean anything I said. I just had a really bad day and let it out on you. You didn't deserve any of that." He does a tiny, toothless smile.
"It's alright."
"It's not." You hold onto his hand. "I shouldn't have expected you to know everything. None of this was your fault, and you did nothing wrong."
"Princess, all I ask is that you tell me what's going on." He gives your hand a gentle squeeze before removing his to brush the hair out of your face. "You know I'm always here for you. I always want to know how I can help you. How I can cheer you up and make your day better."
"Yeah, I know."
"Do you?" He looks at you, doe eyes staring straight into yours.
"I do."
"Then talk to me, remember? You told me all of this when we first started dating. Shit went downhill every time assumptions were made."
"I hear you. I'm really sorry, Kook. I shouldn't have done that."
"It's okay, peanut." He cups your cheeks and places a gentle kiss on your forehead. "What really happened today? I-If you're ready to talk about it, I mean." He quickly follows up, thumb gently caressing at your cheek.
"I just got yelled at by my boss and this lady at work, both for things that were out of my control. Then I was supposed to see my dad, but he cancelled last minute to see his friends."
"Oh, that's right." He lets out a small sigh. "I'm sorry, princess. I know how much you were looking forward to hanging out with your dad more. As for the other two, they can both fuck off." You chuckle a bit.
"Yeah, seriously. My boss is usually in a good mood, but I guess she was also having a bad day." Jungkook shrugged. "The cherry on top was the whole thing with my dad. I just felt very.. I don't know. Not a priority? Like us working on our relationship and getting back to the way we were didn't really mean much to him?"
"I'm sure that's not what it is, but he could probably do better with his priorities."
"Yeah." You flatly respond.
"Next time you speak to him, maybe you should tell him that you need to talk to him and it's important. I mean, this is something you should address with him so he knows. He's probably not even aware."
"I guess."
"I'm sure he'll be more than happy to listen and change once he understands how you feel. I think if you wanna keep working at this, you're going to have to start opening up to him again, peanut."
"I know." Jungkook nods. "Thank you."
"Of course."
"Are we okay?"
"Yeah, peanut. Just be patient with me, okay? I'm still learning."
"I know, I know. And I appreciate you a lot." You lean in to give him a peck on the lips, making him smile in return.
"So, how can I actually cheer you up and make your day better?" You giggle.
"I don't know, just cuddle me and kiss me?" He nods.
"That— I can do." He looks at the headset on the floor. "Let me just tell Tae I'm hopping off for the night, okay?" You nod, already getting yourself comfortable by changing into one of his shirts. He switches off the console and tv, joining you in getting ready for bed. He slips himself into the covers after you, propping his arm to let his head rest against the palm of his hand. You lay flatly on your back next to him, fiddling with the fabric of his shirt before Kook breaks the silence. "Anything else that upset you today, pretty?"
"No."
"You sure?" You look up at him and nod.
"I am." He wraps an arm around you and pulls you closer, his body heat keeping you warm and cozy.
"Come here then?" You snuggle up against him, finger tracing down his chest.
"Thank you for being so good to me." You say close to a whisper, eyes darting from your finger to his eyes.
"You only deserve the very best and I'm trying to be that for you no matter what." He responds. "Y/N?"
"Mhm?"
"Can I kiss you?"
"Yes you can." You smile as he brings his lips forward— soft, pink, plump lips meeting yours. He fixes his position so that he's slightly hovering over you now, arm wrapped tightly around you, fingers giving your side a gentle squeeze. You moan into the kiss as soon as it deepens, tongues twirling and dancing around each other while you feel Jungkook hardening against your thigh. Your hand travels down his chiseled abs, tracing down his Apollo's belt, before dipping into his boxers to stroke him gently.
"I thought—" He briefly pulls away and pecks you on the jaw. "You wanted to kiss and cuddle." He plants soft, feathery kisses along your neck.
"Can't really ignore the fact that you're hard against my thigh, now can't I?"
"Sorry, princess. You know we don't have to—"
"I always want to." You respond breathily when he comes back up to meet your gaze. You kiss him once more, tugging on his bottom lip as he lets out a small moan.
"Okay." He nods, slipping himself out of his boxers before helping you out of his shirt and your panties.
"Need you inside, Kook."
"But—" He looks down. "Are you sure?"
"Promise. Just wanna feel you, babe." He nods again, stroking himself before positioning himself to be in line with you. Right now, all he wanted to do was take care of you, feel you, soothe you.
"Tell me if I need to stop, okay?" He bites onto his bottom lip as he slowly edges into you and watches the pleasure wash over your facial expression. He lets out a moan, feeling how tight and warm you are wrapped around him. "Ohhhh— holy shit." He lets out a shaky breath when he bottoms out.
"Feels so good." You whimper, hands resting around his neck.
"How do you want it?" You shake your head.
"I don't know, just want you. All of you."
"Okay, pretty. I think I got you." You let out a tiny chuckle before he comes down to kiss you a little more. He slowly pumps in and out, hand pressed against your side as he continues to kiss you, tongue you down.
You begin to wrap your legs around his waist as he finally pulls away and lowers himself closer to your body, your arms also wrapped tightly around his neck. He slides in and out, slowly, deeply. Letting you feel every inch of him with every movement. Your hands are roaming up his short, black hair, grabbing at the ends every now and then when he hits a certain spot.
This— This is exactly how you wanted to be. Intertwined, together, full.
All of him.
"God, I love you." He pants against your neck, clit rubbing against his abdomen with every thrust. "I really love you."
"I love you, too— hmmmgh— please, Kook. Keep going."
"Yeah, fuck. You're so perfect. So perfect for me." He says near your ear before nibbling on your ear lobe. The way you wrapped your legs around him made you feel extra tight, extra warm, like he belonged right here. He continues to take it deep and slow, the both of you releasing low and soft moans. He takes your hands from behind his neck and places it down on the pillow, tightly lacing his fingers with yours while he continued to fuck into you.
The sweet, sweet sounds of your moans and your wet pussy glazing his cock— it was absolute bliss.
Absolute bliss just to be wrapped up in you, to be yours. Through the good and bad days, through thick and thin.
"I'm close, princess. Cum with me." He whispers, lips grazing yours. You nod, your high tipping over the edge as you match his movements and keep your legs wrapped around him.
You feel him.
"Kook, yes. Just like that. I'm gonna— I'm gonna—"
"Cumming, oh fuck!" He groans, hand tightening its grip on yours.
"Kook—Kook—" You whine repeatedly until you reach your own orgasm, twitching as Jungkook continues to thrust to empty the rest of himself within you. When you both finally come down from your highs, Jungkook lazily smiles at you before planting small kisses on your face. You giggle, the both of you letting out a small whimper when he removes himself from within you.
"That was so good." You run your hand through your hair and adjust the sheets to cover your body while Kook positions himself next to you.
"I mean I hope it always is." You smile.
"Yeah, it always is."
"You're not just saying that, right?"
"Of course not." He chuckles.
"It's nice to hear."
"Yeah, yeah." He pulls you onto his chest and holds you tightly.
"I love you, peanut. I know I probably say this a lot, but you really do mean a lot to me. Bad days aren't gonna make me think differently of you, so please let me know what I can do to make you feel better."
"Thank you, Kook. You know I'm here for you too. I won't do that again. It was wrong of me."
"As long as we learn together, right?"

You wrote feel free to leave brainrots so here I go ~ Imagine, MC's main fave friend group other than the first years are faes from Diasomnia. And faes tend to snatch human children right, imagine them being so attached to MC and one day Lilia's approached by them saying "Vice dormleader can we keep them ? Please ?", "You raised Silver so can we keep the human ?", Even better if one of them is holding MC like Simba.
fun idea, thought about what might have led up to the situation so here's a... ficlet i believe is the term? anyway took ur idea and ran with it with my own interprettion. im a family friendly blog (insert angel emoji here) and i feel like the concept can go dark or light and funny so we're going the lighter route hihi
it's not properly written but have 1000 words of sleepy nathya writing okay good night
Tumblr media
Yuu, simply put, was an incredibly interesting human— what kind of being could manage to be bold and blunt with an occasional hint of spite despite their circumstances? The one who has no home in this world, should they not lament their fate, cower at the unfamiliar, curse the olden gods who chose them as the hero for what was brewing to be a twisted story? If they feel as such they certainly don't show it, certainly not with them even getting into all sorts of mischief, laughing with relief and smiling without a tinge of regret.
A nameless fae looks at another.
“It's in our nature to be drawn to mischief, and Ramshackle's prefect seemed like they'd be fun to play around with, so why should we prevent themselves from taking Yuu under our wing?”
“Besides,” another fae mentions, “they're a little pitiful, aren't they? We're simply so benevolent to take care of them.”
They hardly see the prefect as a respectable human, at least at first, approaching them mostly out of curiosity, partially out of sympathy, but entirely out of amusement. Their intentions are not the purest, but honestly, who really was that pure in a place like Night Raven College?
Their plan was barely thought out, but it hardly mattered with how easily the prefect had fallen into their trap. No, it was hardly even a fall, more of a willing entrance. Yuu was surprisingly easy to lure. Despite the initial reluctance, all it took was the promise of food to get them to sit at their table, and through the manner of classical conditioning they had officially adopted a human, arguably NRC's most unspecial and special human, into their group of faes.
Yuu's clearly the odd one out, so much so that even outsiders point it out, but Yuu, friendly and outgoing Yuu, still tries to get along with them to the best of their abilities. They're young and a little naive when it comes to this world, and more than just a little clueless when it comes to the culture of their fae friends, but they try to understand it. To the faes who are often feared, often misunderstood, they cannot help but be endeared by their efforts, including that of their failures.
The plan was to stop stringing Yuu along with them once they grew bored of the magicless human, but it could not be helped that the faes choose to keep the prefect around a little longer.
But a little longer turns from a few days into a month, for how could they part ways with their human friend who entertains them so? What's entertaining, one may ask? How the prefect, ignorant and inexperienced, much younger than some of them, tries to teach them the ways of their boring, magicless, human world.
Entertaining, so much so that they cannot help but listen attentively, hang on to each and every word until they have the stories from their childhood etched into their brains, stories not their own to remember for the rest of their long lives.
It cannot be helped, they decide, the prefect must remain their one, human friend for a little longer, and because Yuu's their friend and their image reflects on them, they cannot help but make sure the human is well taken care of.
It's not spoiling, they would insist, but the gifts Yuu begins to get from each of them say otherwise. Food and the occasional flowers and herbs from the greenhouse are a given, but the non-physical gifts hold more value than Yuu's probably aware of. As weird as the change has become, Yuu's grateful for the late night tutoring sessions from fae number one, the listening ear of fae number two, and the oddly sage advice from fae number three.
Well, they're not really gifts and more of what they owe Yuu for keeping them amused, but some terms need not be specified. They're not as cheeky when they're upset, not so willing to cause mischief when they're busy and stressed, so the gifts they hand hold expected returns.
Then the months pass and come the time for another school break, and the faes argue amongst themselves over whose home the fun human, their favorite human will reside in for the holiday. Do their families know about it? No, not yet, but that was besides the point. Deciding came first, asking came second.
Yuu, almost always good-natured and good-humored, only laughs, as if unconcerned with how the decision had come to the faes rather than them.
"It's like having a bunch of parents fight over having custody of me."
The idea comes from Yuu, actually, and of course Yuu wouldn't think anything about a comment like that. After all, as faes themselves, why would they tell them of their kind's... odd tendencies and habits? Of course, none of them have ever dabbled— two were still around the prefect’s age and the other, while older, was still young by the standards of their race. It wasn't that in style anymore to pick up random humans, and Yuu was far from a baby...
But the faes think about it. It's simply on the back of their minds at first, like a buzz they can ignore, but then they start talking about it amongst themselves. Two of them were far too young to be fathers and one of them liked to pretend he was too young to be a father, but family didn't have to be three fae fathers and one magicless human, did it?
"What do you think about having brothers?"
"Specifically three?"
"Or one, if you happen to have a favorite hypothetical brother!"
Yuu blinks owlishly.
"I guess I wouldn't mind. The three of you are kind of like my overprotective brothers anyway, so I imagine it'd be like that."
If the idea first came from Yuu, then it is also Yuu that essentially seals the deal, and it is why Ramshackle’s prefect finds themselves not at their rundown dormitory but at Diasomnia, presented in front of the vice dorm leader.
Yuu doesn’t really know what’s going on, even finds themselves shocked at the revelation that Silver was adopted by Lilia and how the secret is revealed so casually by these fae, but their friends seem excited and Lilia laughs despite claiming to be supportive and what was that about human snatching?
“I don’t know why you children chose to come to me. There’s no legal process, and I never asked anyone if I could adopt Silver, so shouldn’t you just do as you wish?”
“Oh, of course. Ahem. Well then, Yuu, Ramshackle’s prefect, from this day on we’ll be your family here in Twisted Wonderland.”
And just like that, Yuu found themselves going from an only child to having three fae brothers.

Delicious (NSFW edition)
A Mitsuhide Akechi fanfiction taking place at the end of Ch. 13 in the romantic route. Approx. 1700 words of Fluff and Spice! Some spoilers maybe?
First: Mitsuhide and the Maiden
Previous: Tears of Joy
There were three things in this world Mitsuhide enjoyed above all else. One of them was a hot bath, and one of them was teasing his little mouse. To have both in one place at the same time was decadent.
Right this moment, his little one was sinking into the hot water, her expression one of pure pleasure. Her eyes were closed, her lips parted, cheeks faintly pink. A sheen of sweat covered her brow from the steam. She looked . . . delicious.
Of course, she chose the moment he licked his lips to open her eyes. “Mitsuhide! You - you’re staring at me!” She crossed her arms over her chest.
“Little one, I’ve seen you naked several times now. Why are you suddenly shy?”
“I - you - I feel like a real mouse about to be eaten up by a very happy cat.”
“Kitsune,” Mitsuhide corrected.
She blinked. “What?”
“About to be eaten by a very happy kitsune.”
She giggled. “Yes, I guess that.”
“You have such a beautiful smile, my love.” He watched her expression shift from laughter to charmed surprise.
“I don’t know what to say when you say things like that.” She touched her face, where the bruise still discolored her skin. “Especially right now.”
Mitsuhide shook his head. “Silly little mouse. As if such a fading mark makes you any less.” He shrugged off his clothes and let them pool at his feet.
Whatever she had been about to say was reduced to a sharp exhale at his sudden nudity. Her eyes went wide as she tried to fix her gaze on a point somewhere above his chest.
“Is there something wrong?”
“N-no! No, of course not! You’re. Just. Naked. All the way. Naked.” She swallowed.
Mitsuhide grinned. “I did plan to bathe with you this time . . .” He *might* have posed himself to best display his . . . attributes. “Should I wait until you finish instead?”
She licked her lips and shook her head. “I - you - just get in and quit teasing me!”
“What fun would that be, little mouse?” He couldn’t remember the last time he’d smiled so wide his cheeks hurt. Perhaps never. He walked slowly to the edge of the tub, using his dancer’s grace to draw out the movement. It was worth every second to see the stain on her cheeks darken and the desire in her eyes grow.
He stepped into the wooden tub and sank down into the hot water. A little groan of pleasure escaped him as he felt the tension melt from his legs and back. “If there is a heaven, little mouse, this is in it.”
She smiled. “I wish I could introduce you to the baths in my time. And hot showers!”
“Mmm, perhaps one day. Your friend seemed to think these . . . warm-holes? Will come again.”
“Sasuke did say as much. I don’t know how sure he is though. I mean, what if we went to my time and got stuck? Or what if I went but it wouldn’t take you?” She chewed at her lip, anxious over all the possible things that could go wrong on such a trip.
It was too adorable, Mitsuhide thought, and put his arm around her. He pulled her next to him and placed a kiss on her head. “Don’t worry about things that are not problems. We have enough ahead of us.”
His little one laughed softly. “True enough. I’m sure Nobunaga and Hideyoshi will have plenty to say when we get home.”
“Yes, those two for certain. But I don’t want to talk about them tonight. Tonight . . . there is only you, and I.” Mitsuhide ran his hand down her back, glorying in her soft skin, and the way she leaned into his touch.
“Oh? Are we going to talk about us?” She batted her eyelashes at him.
He nodded. “We will. But first-” He settled his hands on her hips and lifted her around to sit in front of him. “Let’s enjoy our bath.” He cupped water in his hands and poured it over her hair, running his fingers through it. “I will start with the top of you, and work all the way to the bottom.”
She looked at him over her shoulder, smiling her little, wicked smile. “The bottom, hm?” And then she wiggled against him.
Mitsuhide couldn’t have held back the groan that burst from his lips, or the sharp intake of breath that followed. He’d been hard when he got into the bath, but now he felt as if he might burst. The sensation of her naked skin rubbing his cock was like fuel to his flame. And she knew it. She was smiling more widely now, fully aware of the effect she had on him.
“Oh . . . little one . . . you will pay for that,” he breathed.
“Looking forward to it,” she replied, spoiling the bravado a bit by swallowing nervously after.
Though it was sheer torment to keep her pressed against him, Mitsuhide held her there as he first rinsed her hair. Then he rubbed her skin with fragrant herbs, gently removing the dust of their travel.
It was hard enough to wash her back, but when he turned her around, she used the moment to wrap her legs around his waist. Positioning herself deliciously atop his erection. He ached to be inside her, and wondered if his little mouse had any idea how much self control it took him not to simply . . .
She was laughing softly. Her eyes were merry and her smile was brilliant.
“Wicked little mouse. If I were any other man -” he growled low in his throat, letting his frustration show.
She leaned forward until her nipples brushed the skin of his chest. “Mitsuhide. I want you. You don’t need to hold back with me.”
And then he was kissing her. It wasn’t what he’d planned. Wasn’t the seduction he’d wanted to perform, but gods . . . she tasted so sweet. And she felt like silk. Her slick, warm fingers stroked his chest, his hip. Curled around his shaft. He thought he would die from the pleasure of it as she slid her hand slowly up, and then down again. His body shuddered against her.
Two could play at that though. If she wanted to bring him to the brink . . . He grabbed her breast in one hand, teasing the nipple with his fingers. His other hand slid down between her legs. He could feel how much she wanted him just by the heat from her.
The sound she made when he stroked her sweet pearl was half-gasp, half moan. He smiled, watching the way she trembled as he slid the pad of his thumb over her cleft again. Not that it helped his own situation. Touching her was torture. Like the sound of dripping water when you were mad with thirst.
She gave a raw cry of pleasure as he slipped his fingers inside of her, clenching tight on him as if she would hold him there. “M-my god . . . M-mitsu . . . hide - I - I -”
He might have said something then, taunted her a little, but she stroked him again, and whatever words he had were lost. He wanted to bury himself in her, to make her cry his name until she was hoarse from it. His fingers slid into her again and again, but it wasn’t enough for either of them.
Gasping, he moved his hands to her hips and pulled her into position atop him.
“Ah-haha,” she gave a panting laugh. “Y-you d-didn’t beg me. Yet.” And then his little mouse - no! His little vixen - rubbed his cock between her legs, pressing him tight enough that he could feel her clench as if to pull him inside. She moaned as his shaft rubbed the hard pebble of her clit.
It was enough to drive him mad. This game she was playing . . . she wanted him to beg. Then for her, he would. “Please.” The word purred from his throat. “Please . . .” Low and hoarse and desperate.
She rose up, and then sank down onto his shaft. Her body shuddered and she let out a piercing cry of pleasure that went higher the deeper he went.
Mitsuhide was a proud man. He would have liked to draw this first time out - to ride her to completion several times before he found his own satisfaction. But the feel of her climaxing against him, the sound of her, the sight of her breasts . . . it was too much. After months of teasing himself with her, and taking no other woman to his bed, he couldn’t hold back.
“I love you,” she gasped, her hips rising and falling as she rode him.
He pulled her down to his lips, kissing her until their tremors subsided. “I love you too, little one,” he said when he could speak again. He felt so relaxed that he didn’t want to move. Not an inch. He liked having her perched on him, impaled. Her naked breasts floating in the hot water, brushing his chest. Her cheeks flushed. Her eyes on him, and only him.
“We waited way too long for this. Just. Mmmmm . . .” She smiled.
Mitsuhide stroked her cheek. “I wanted to wait. I wanted to be sure that . . . that you wanted this. Me.”
She shook her head. “You have no idea how sure I am.”
“I think I might,” he smiled. Then his expression turned serious. “When we get back to Azuchi, I plan to ask Nobunaga for the right to marry you. I will make you my wife. Officially. In name and title . . . if . . . if you are willing.”
“Are you asking me to marry you, Mitsuhide Akechi?” She wiggled her hips, which made him gasp involuntarily.
“I am.”
“Then yes. If you promise me we’ll make love like this every night.”
Mitsuhide kissed the tip of her nose. “I can’t promise you that.”
“What? Why not?”
He grinned. “Because I plan to make love to you in a thousand inventive ways. I plan to tease you until you beg for release. To pleasure you as an art form. One that I will master. This . . . tonight . . . this was only a beginning.”
“Mmmm, I think our beginning isn’t quite over,” she smiled. And she was right. He was ready for her again.
That night he began an intense study of this new art form. After the bath, they moved to the bench, then the desk and the wall, and finally . . .the futon. Spent, they fell asleep in each other’s arms just as the light of morning began to peek through the window. It wasn’t near enough to wake the exhausted lovers.

All Men Have Limits - IV
Character: Dick Grayson x Reader x Bruce Wayne
Summary: A certain bat believes that Y/N is in way over her head, that she’s too naive to act in her best interest. So, whether she wants it or not, the vigilante family is going to help and protect her before she gets herself killed.
Word Count: 3,800+

As Y/N packed her bags, she was also brainstorming her route once she got to her safe house. She’s just stay there for a couple of nights. Then she’d leave town. Gotham wasn’t safe for her right now. And if she was out of city limits, The Court of Owls had less influence. Though she didn’t doubt they’d send an assassin to the other side of the world to hunt her down.
Y/N looked around her extravagant room.
She doubted she’d ever be back here.
Things were getting…complicated.
It was a cruel reminder for why she kept to herself. People meant drama. Drama meant distractions. And distractions meant she wasn’t focused on the task at hand – which was bringing down the corrupt.
Y/N was just zipping up her duffle when there was a knock on her door.
“Come in!” She turned to see Dick walking in.
He eyed her bag. “What are you doing?”
“I was just about to go pack up my equipment in the cave.”
“No, you’re not. You’re staying here,” he confirmed.
She gave him a repulsed look. “Uhh…No, I am not. This mansion is about to be flooded with unidentified members of The Court.”
“Sure is,” Dick smirked. “But I have a solution.”
He held out his hand to show a bracelet. It looked expensive. The band was gold but there was a giant garnet gemstone at the center of it.
Dick handed it to Y/N.
“You shouldn’t have?” Y/N asked with confusion.
“I called in a favor with an old friend. She’s a magician.”
Y/N tried not to laugh, “A magician?”
Dick gave her a playful glare. “Yeah, a magician. But it’s not tricks and gimmicks. She knows actual magic.” He tapped the gemstone. “When you wear this, you’ll look like a different person. It’s a cloaking spell.”
“Why didn’t you guys suggest this right away?”
Dick sighed. “Bruce isn’t fond of metas and…magic.”
“Wouldn’t it be easier for me to just leave?”
“I would rather have you in disguise with our eyes on you, than have you out of reach,” he explained softly. “When you’re wearing this, all of us will still be able to see the real you. But not anyone else.”
“I don’t want to go to this stupid gala. I’ll just wear this and stay in my room or the cave.”
“Well…that’s the other part,” Dick cleared his throat awkwardly. “You’re gonna be my date.”
Y/N blinked in surprise. She couldn’t remember the last time anyone asked her on any kind of date. Not that Dick even asked. He more so told her.
“That wasn’t exactly a request, Dick.”
“Everyone knows everyone. If you’re by yourself, people will ask too many questions. But if you’re my date, no one will think twice why you’re there.”
“I-I don’t have anything to wear…”
Dick laughed lightly. “Alfred already sent out for a dress and shoes for you.”
“…why do I feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman?”
“Come on, Y/N. You know it’s not like that.”
Y/N remained annoyed.
“I’ll be here at your door around 8 tonight, k?” Dick gave her a soft smirk.
“Fine.”
———————
This was just another night for Dick. He’d been dragged to enough of these stupid galas to know the drill: wide smiles, forced laughter, and lay the charm on real thick. With the way this family handled their identities, they could’ve been a family of actors instead of vigilantes.
Dick straightened his cufflinks as he made his way to Y/N’s room.
He could hear the murmur’s of the guest from the ballroom, proving just how many people were attending for the sound to reach him in such a giant manor.
There was a part of Dick that half expected Y/N to be in her usual baggy sweaters and leggings when he opened the door. A silent protest that she wasn’t going to be anyone’s arm candy tonight.
Dick knew he didn’t give her much choice.
When his family had been discussing the situation, Dick tried to off to stay hidden out of sight with Y/N. But Alfred was having none of it. They all knew he took these events rather seriously. Especially one that was started and named after Bruce’s mother.
Dick knocked and turned his back to the door, he double checked there were no guests exploring where they shouldn’t be.
When the door opened, Dick turned around and was stunned to silence.
“Is this bracelet working on you or do I really look that bad?”
Y/N shifted as he stared at her like she’d cast a spell on him.
Dick was seeing Y/N. That was for sure.
“I see the dress fit,” he finally spoke.
What the hell was the matter with him? That’s really what he chose to say?
Though Y/N couldn’t help but laugh at the comment. “That it does.”
Dick woke up a bit and cleared his throat. “You look…beautiful.”
He never had a problem charming women. So why is he suddenly talking like a total cave man?
“Don’t look so surprised,” Y/N call him out teasingly. “Just because I dress like a scrub every day doesn’t mean I don’t know how to clean up.”
His brow furrowed at the first comment. “You’ve never looked like a scrub, Y/N.”
OK. OK. He was getting back to his normal self.
“Well…” Y/N broke eye contact from her bashfulness. “Thank you.”
Dick held out the hook of his arm. “Shall we?”
Y/N inhaled, “Right.”
As soon as she hooked her hand onto Dick’s bicep, a wave of relief washed over her. She wasn’t doing this alone; she was doing this with him at her side.
“So, what’s the the plan here?” Y/N asked nervously.
“The plan is to blend in. Don’t talk to any press. And…” He smirked. “It wouldn’t hurt to try and have a good time.”
“Right. I’ll try to do that while I’m in a room possibly filled with people who want me dead…” Y/N sighed.
“Not ‘possibly.’ There will be.”
Y/N narrowed her eyes at him. “Way to make me feel better, Dick.”
He laughed. “You’ll be fine. I’ll be with you the whole time. Damian, Tim, and Bruce will be there, too. And somehow Alfred convinced Jason to even make an appearance. You’re not in this alone, Y/N.”
“Mhmm,” Y/N answered as they arrived to the party. She didn’t bother hiding that she was still extremely nervous and on edge.
“I did really mean it,” Dick told her quietly.
His tone made Y/N tear her eyes away from the party to look at him. “Really mean what?”
“You look beautiful.”
His words didn’t fumble this time. He was confident and clear, leaving no room for doubt or insincerity.
Y/N gave him a shy smile.
“I’m guessing a drink would make this a bit easier, huh?” Dick offered.
“Yes. Yes, it would.”
Dick guided her to the nearest bar.
All the staff knew what the Wayne family looked like. Which meant the bartended skipped over all other guests and b-lined for Dick when he requested a drink, and then looked to Y/N to order what she wanted.
There was loud laughter from a group of people near them. Followed by a voice that Y/N thought she knew, but still sounded a bit off.
When Y/N looked over, she realized it was Bruce talking to a group of guests, who were absolutely fawning over him. He was smiling and laughing, and taking very frequent sips of his drink.
This was Bruce Wayne: the character. Charming playboy, debatable narcissist, and spoiled brat. But in the eyes of Gotham’s elite, he could do no wrong.
Y/N wondered if Bruce had ever considered bringing her as his date. ‘Don’t you start,’ said a voice inside her head.
Dick followed her eye line.
“Doesn’t it make you nauseous watching him like this?” Y/N mumbled.
“Not Dick. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” Jason answered.
Dick and Y/N turned to see Jason and Damian.
Yes, Dick adopted Bruce’s charm. But he didn’t rip himself into pieces, building characters that were unrecognizable to the people who actually knew him. Dick’s charm was a part of his personality. His flirtations came naturally. But he only used them on people he intended on building a genuine connection with. (Though Nightwing was guilty of using said charm on targets during missions a few times.)
Y/N looked around for Tim and saw him talking to what appeared to be serious businessman. He was the only one carrying on the legacy at Wayne Enterprises. If any of the boys needed to be here, it was Tim.
“Shouldn’t you guys be making rounds or something?” Y/N asked.
Jason shrugged. “People only cared about us when we were cute kids. Now we’re just spoiled adults who are the product of nepotism.” He smirked down at Damian. “But this one isn’t out of the clear yet.”
“Don’t remind me,” Damian groaned. “At the last one, a woman pinched my cheeks as if I was some toddler.”
“I thought I was about to watch him murder someone,” Dick added.
“I wanted to,” Damian clarified.
Dick started talking to Jason about something.
It provided Y/N the perfect window with the youngest Wayne.
“I’ll sneak you alcohol if you do a mercy killing for me,” she offered Damian.
The boy looked amused but gave no indication that a deal was made.
“Your date that awful?” Jason teased as he smirked at Dick, who ignored him.
“Do you have the hearing of a dog? Fuckin’ Christ.”
The four of them stuck together for most of the night. Tim would touch base with them every so often. But he kept getting dragged away by board members or partners or anyone that wanted to kiss the ass of the future head of Wayne Enterprises.
Dick and Y/N were laughing at Jason about something when Dick’s face suddenly fell as he spotted something on the other side of the room.
“God damn it, Damian.” Dick hissed as he put his drink down on the nearest counter. He turned to Y/N. “I’ll be right back. Stay here.”
Y/N just nodded.
But then Jason seemed to spot the youngest brother as well.
“I should probably help him and do some damage control,” Jason sighed.
Y/N laughed and nodded for him to go ahead.
“Now you can see why I avoid these shit shows.”
She laughed but pushed him away, “Go help Dick.”
Now that Y/N was alone, her senses was hyper focused on the party around her.
As she reached for her drink, she noticed that her surrounding area had gone eerily quiet. And she felt far too many eyes on her. There were hushed whispers and even gasps.
“Would you care to dance?” A voice asked from behind her.
Y/N’s entire body tensed.
She turned to see Bruce waiting patiently for her response.
But the look on his face was that of a man she didn’t know.
Bruce had a charming glitter in his eyes and his smirk was arrogant.
Y/N looked around at their audience, then at the dance floor. She was desperately trying to remember the last time she danced with someone.
“Umm…I don’t really know how–” her words came out so slowly.
“How to dance?” Bruce offered.
Y/N nodded.
“You just need a good partner,” he reassured her as he held out a hand.
‘What a fucking line,’ Y/N thought as she tried not to roll her eyes. She half expected him to add a wink.
Bruce guided her to the center of the dance floor and then pulled her closer with his right hand while his left wrapped around her hand.
Y/N wasn’t expecting him to pull her so close, but their body’s were now pressed together.
Bruce moved his mouth to her ear. “Relax,” he murmured.
“It’s hard to relax when you’re using me to set up your new flavor of the week,” she criticized. “Everyone is watching us.”
Bruce may be used to such scrutiny, but Y/N had zero experience with it. And it was safe to say she hated it.
“They’re not looking at me. They’re looking at you,” Bruce corrected.
“A woman who’s not even me. It’s just the dress.”
“I’m happy you like it, seeing as I picked it out,” he commented smugly.
Y/N’s chest tightened at the revelation.
“I see the real you right now, and that’s who I asked to dance.”
Y/N wanted to make a run for it. She didn’t want Bruce with an audience. She just wanted him to herself and she wanted him as he really was.
But her brain shut down for just this song and she followed her heart.
If Y/N concentrated hard enough, she could ignore all the invasive gawking. If she closed her eyes, it was just her and Bruce. So, Y/N tucked her head into his shoulder and let Bruce glide them across the floor.
Somehow she felt that Bruce was allowing himself this as well.
One song was not enough for what they both needed and wanted.
But Y/N would take what she could.
Though what she did not expect was to finally pull away to see Bruce looking utterly heartbroken. As if pulling away from her was the hardest thing he’d ever have to do. And for the first time, Y/N legitimately considered that Bruce might want the same thing as she did.
He’ll just never act on his feelings.
If Y/N had blinked, she could’ve missed the moment of honesty and vulnerability Bruce had colored all across his face – bleeding from his eyes.
Because, the next moment, the character was back.
As the party clapped for the band, someone called Bruce’s name. And their locked stare was broken.
And just like that, Y/N was snapped back to reality as if someone threw a bucket of freezing water over her.
Now that Bruce had moved on, no one bothered to keep their voices down. And the upperclass women of Gotham made it loud and clear that they were not pleased with Y/N’s presence.
“Seems he’s found his next prey.”
“She looks half his age, of course he would go for her. Typical man.”
“She’ll eventually learn like we all did.”
“I still say he was the best lay I ever had.”
“Remember when we both slept with him in the same week?”
Now Y/N wasn’t just brought back to reality – she was put in her place.
Before she could even realize what was happening to stop it, her eyes were filled with tears. She had to get out of there.
“Excuse me,” Y/N whispered desperately and she tried to push her way through the crowd.
As soon as she made it outside, she let out a gasp. The fresh air helped, but it wasn’t enough.
There wasn’t any guests outside, but Y/N didn’t feel a safe enough distance from the party. The gardens and maze were in her peripheral and it took her all of two seconds to decide that would be her safe haven.
She hurried through the maze and prayed that no drunken couples had tried to also sneak away from prying eyes.
But when Y/N reached the center of the maze, she was alone.
A fountain sat in the middle and the sound of its moving water calmed Y/N down a bit. But even that couldn’t stop her tears from finally escaping.
Y/N sat on the edge of the fountain as she tried to get a hold of herself. She could only imagine what this was doing her makeup that she spent an hour doing.
‘What a waste,’ she thought.
Her escape was short lived.
Dick called her name repeatedly from a distance.
Y/N panicked at the idea of him catching her crying. She quickly tried to hide any evidence of tears and pull herself together.
Dick finally caught up and let out a sigh of relief from behind her.
“Y/N, you can’t run off like that,” he tried to tell her.
He opened his mouth to lecture her further, but when he finally made it around the fountain and was facing her, his concern shifted.
“What’s wrong? What happened?”
“Nothing,” Y/N struggled to speak without sounding nasally. “I’m fine.”
“No, you’re not. You were crying.”
“I’m fine,” she tried to laugh. “Seriously, Dick.”
But he wasn’t having any of it. He moved to sit next to her on the edge of the fountain. Without hesitating, he wrapped an around her shoulder and pulled her into him.
“Come here,” he muttered softly.
Why did it feel so natural for him to do that? Like he’d done it a million times before?
He rubbed her arms. “Jesus. You’re freezing.”
Then he was taking off his suit jacket and putting it over her shoulders. But he didn’t miss a beat, quickly bringing her back into his arms again.
“Wanna tell me what’s got you so upset?” Dick asked after a few minutes of silently comforting her.
“It’s stupid.”
“It’s not stupid to me if it made you cry.”
Y/N took in a shaky breath, feeling like she was on the cusp of crying again. “I’m just like the rest of them.”
Dick waited, feeling like she needed to say more before he spoke.
“They were whispering terrible things. But it was everything I already knew. I’m just another stupid girl that managed to convince herself that she was different.”
Dick was silent as he processed his words. It wasn’t hard for him to know Y/N was talking about Bruce, even thought she never uttered his name.
“I’ve got an idea,” Dick announced. “Let’s ditch this stupid gala. Get out of these clothes. Put on some sweatpants. And I’ll have Alfred order us as much pizza and wings as you want.”
Now Y/N wanted to cry for a completely different reason.
Dick was the sweetest man she’d ever met.
“Sound like a plan?” He asked her when she didn’t respond and instead just stared into his blue eyes.
Y/N nodded.
“We can even invite my good-for-nothing brothers if that’ll make you happy.”
Her first instinct was to say yes. They all amused her beyond belief. Watching the way they all interacted with each other was like watching a reality show. And it was always obvious how much they loved each other deep down – even with Damian, who would rather die than admit such a thing.
But if all of them were included, who knew when Bruce would eventually make an appearance. And Y/N just didn’t think she could be in a room with him again tonight.
“Just you and me,” she clarified.
That seemed to please Dick and he nodded.
“Just you and me,” he confirmed as he offered her a hand up.
When they started walking back to the manor, Dick wrapped an arm around her shoulder, keeping her close to his side.
“I’m going to ask you a question and I need you to be completely honest with me,” but she said it through a smile.
Dick looked a bit nervous, but nodded. “Alright.”
“Do you know how to order takeout on your own?”
Dick threw his head back and laughed. “How dare you!”
He pinched her waist, making her yelp. But he didn’t let her escape his hold. “Yes, I do. In fact, when I’m at my own place, I live off takeout. And let me tell you, no one can order food quite like I can. Thank you very much.”
Once they reached the second floor of the manor, the two of them parted ways to changed out of their fancy clothes.
Y/N washed her face, scrubbing the layers of makeup off. But before she could rid herself of the evidence, she noticed the smeared mascara and eyeliner.
Words could not describe the relief of putting on baggy sweatpants and a hoodie and fluffy socks after wearing a fitted gown and high heels.
30 minutes later, just as promised, Dick was bringing up a huge pizza and a box of wings to Y/N’s bedroom.
They ate on the floor. Dick managed to light the fireplace that was in there, because Y/N didn’t know what to do with the thing. The television was on, but neither of them were watching it. It was simply white noise.
Two hours later, Y/N was laughing so hard at a story Dick was telling her that she had tears in her eyes and her stomach hurt.
“I don’t believe you!”
“I’m not kidding. Ask Jason. He took my clothes and I was ass naked, running through the streets of Gotham. I wanted to kill him.”
Y/N grabbed another wing and got sauce all over her face.
“What?” She asked when Dick was watching her with adoration. “Do I have sauce on my face?”
He tried to hide his smile. “Nope.”
She knew he was lying and then purposely smeared more sauce around her lips. “How about now? Do I have anything now?”
“No. Nothing.”
“On a scale of 1 to 10, how attractive am I right now?” Y/N laughed as she wiped the sauce off her face with napkins.
“11,” Dick responded without hesitating.
The playfulness was sucked out of the room when they both heard how serious his tone was.
Y/N’s face went somber as she looked down at the floor. “I’m sorry I didn’t dance with you.” She laughed lightly, “I’m a lousy date, huh?”
“That’s not true,” he immediately shot down. “This is the most fun I’ve had…” His words died out when he realized he couldn’t even remember. “Well, it’s the most fun I’ve had in awhile.”
“Me too,” she replied with a quiet sweetness.
Through her full-body laughter, she had moved closer to Dick without realizing it.
He glanced at her lips. He just couldn’t help himself.
The thing about Dick wearing his heart on his sleeve was that it was nearly impossible for him to hide his feelings, his desires. It was all in those blue eyes of his, waiting to easily be read by someone.
And while Y/N looked at him looking at her, she felt beautiful. Because that was all Dick could possibly think as he stared at her.
Neither knew who leaned in first. Perhaps this was their dance that they weren’t able to have earlier.
But they made up for it by sharing an impassioned kiss now.
Dick’s lips were softer than Y/N expected. His hands gripped her waist possessively, making it very clear what he wanted – but still being ever so gentle and soft with his touches.
One of Dick’s hands moved from her waist up her back to tangle his fingers in her hair. He tugged on the strands and pulled her closer, deepening the kiss.
They both could slightly taste the pizza and wings on each other’s lips, but neither of them cared at all.
The kiss didn’t last long enough for either of their liking.
But Y/N pulled away anyways, gasping for air a bit.
“I’m sorry,” she sighed.
“You don’t have to be sorry,” he whispered through hooded eyes as he brushed some hair away from her face. “I’ve been wanting to do that for awhile,” he added with a smirk.
But Y/N wasn’t really sorry about the kiss.
She was sorry because she knew that things were far more complicated than ever.
