Some drawings...? idk what to call 'em. They're too detailed to be 'sketches' :/

I wanted them to look like those old-timey doodles you see in old books. It sorta looks like it. At any rate, these were fun to draw.

I'm pivoting more to doing original stuff (aka less fan art), so it's nice to indulge and draw characters I love to wind down and keep myself sharp when I don't have ideas.

Also I love being able to draw!

It's like I have an idea and then poof! It can be realised in a couple of hours!! I hope these sketches help you see my vISION for these Hetalia/One Piece mashups.

Plus, I have other random mash-up ideas. I want to draw Vista/APH Kiku (idk either...) and revisiting Marco/APH France!! I suppose I want to draw Sabo/APH England BUT WE'LL SEE!! THESE ARE JUST THE MAIN FEW OFF THE TOP OF ME HEAD

writing a potential izou/ace fic i wonder who is interested

The lore is Izou's a professional hitman and Ace worked at a waiter at Thatch's restaurant. Izou and Thatch are together, or should I say were. One day, Thatch gets murdered by Blackbeard. Angry, Ace goes to Izou asking him to kill Blackbeard. Izou agrees for free but refuses Ace's help initially.

Two months later, Izou eventually recruits Ace to be his accomplice. Silliness ensues. Ace thinks Izou's gorgeous. Izou thinks Ace is cute...? Ace doesn't really know what Izou thinks of him and tries not to care.

After killing Blackbeard, Izou plans to kill Ace but he can't because he got attached. I don't think Ace likes Izou very much by the end of it.

It feels sudden to have Izou try to kill Ace because it is sudden. If Izou didn't want to kill Ace, he could've had everything with a cute boy toy who follows him everywhere! Yet, he chooses self-preservation. He'd rather be comfortable and lonely than anything else.

I'm calling this Real Bad Business, That's Dirty Work. I'm directly lifting some lines from Dirty Work by AESPA!! It's so gritty and sultry.

Before I forget, here's some sabokoalalaw

For context, Sabo saves Law after the latter got defeated. Usually, people think Sabo's the insane one who pursues Law in comedic, extravagant ways.

Instead, what if Law's the insane one. By this point, he's a very broken man. He lost everything but then he sees Sabo and his blonde hair and gorgeous smile and just- yeah, see the vision?

Also Sabo and Koala are dating but does that stop Law? Law's not going to let anything stop him from being greedy because you never know when your beloved will die so just take, take, take all you can before then!

What a dysfunctional throuple where they fight for Sabo's attention. Sabo's tired but he ain't no saint. They should be ten feet away from each other.

I shall call this fic 'The Burnt Out, Firecracker'. The comma does a lot of heavy lifting. Without it, we have a title calling Ace a burned out firecracker, which isn't wrong like I want him to be a wandering kind of guy who can't settle down. With it, it looks like a list like 'apple, orange, pear...'. It refers to both Marco as a burnt out doctor and Ace, the firecracker.

I'm using my literature degree for good things lol

okay, here's some art I drew some time ago :)

Now that my art skills have (marginally) improved, I want to redraw this concept but... hotter.

The original idea started from these couple of screenshots from Senorita by VAV. I've been obsessed with this man (St. Van) on and off for ~5 years now and I've been itching to draw something similar.

I thought his smile was gorgeous. I love his outfit. The deep shadows by his eyes make him mysterious, like you're walking around the bar and you feel an instant connection with the man you accidentally made eye contact with.

Back in the day, I hc Marco as a bullfighter, which explains his outfit to some extent. Though, I quickly regret it because of the ethical concerns involved... Nonetheless, the image of a muscular, masculine Marco never once left my mind. I wrote a fic about this while with a fever last year, if you're curious.

At the time while drawing my lineart, I thought Marco looked off, though I couldn't explain why. Looking at it now, like 30 minutes ago, I can very clearly see why I went wrong. The eye is the wrong shape, his nose was too short for my liking and the chin too small. Everything else is perfect—his hair, his jacket, his back.

So I'm like, why not draw him again but better??

And also, why not embrace this bright orange colour scheme with yellows? Man, I'm drooling already. Okay, time to thumbnail!
