Like it's so funny to me. Yes, she's horrible and abusive but don't even think she could be transphobic. Imagine someone misgenders her son on purpose. Can you imagine how terrifying that would be. She's controlling and trying to make "her Gerard" exactly the kind of heir she wants, but gender is not one of the things to be controlled, that's fine, as long as he carries on with their family legacy.

Plus even aside from transmasc Gerry headcanons she's also really supportive of his hobby and paintings like any mother and that's actually super funny now that I think about it. Just. Yeah she's messed up in so many interesting ways

The wonderful @dotjpeg just finished this absolutely beautiful piece for an idea that I've been rotating in my brain for the last year and a half! Basically, while my friends and I have spent the last few years working on our trans-positive DC AU, I've also considered potentially doing something similar with Marvel, as well as finally jumping on the trend of having my own Spidey OC... Introducing, Piper Parker!! After about a decade of leading the superhero life as "Spider-Man", Piper eventually realises who she truly is and makes the transition to becoming the Amazing Spider-Woman! This of course also means coming out as a woman to her friends and family, including her wife Mary Jane. MJ is so proud that she immediately starts planning for them to renew their marriage so that they can have a second wedding as wives! And here we see the happy couple, looking as radiant as ever!
