I love you lifelong vaginal atrophy
i love you topical estrogen that treats atrophy and doesn’t interfere with testosterone at all. i love you modern medicine that makes safe and harmless transitions possible. i love you health professionals who explained the risks of taking testosterone to me calmly and told me exactly how we would respond to each one if they ever became an issue because they’re not scary or unmanageable if you have good, competent people on your side.
i hate you terf rhetoric that completely ignores the actual reality of testosterone hrt in favor of portraying it as poison. i hate you transphobes who try to make me scared of the medication that gave me my life back.

"we like young women because biologically, that means they're fertile"
then why do you find periods disgusting? those are the single most indicative sign of fertility. by that logic, you must be incredibly attracted to a women who speaks openly about her period, right?

I don't know who needs to hear this, but: If you're a man -whether you've been one all your life or just recently started to notice within yourself the need to become one- that's enough.
You don't have to pass a test, there is no quiz, you don't have to check a minimum amount of gender role boxes. No one can tell you HOW to be a man. It doesn't matter how you look or how your body looks, how you talk, how you act, how you behave, what your sexuality is. You don't even have to fit in with the other guys. If being a man feels right for you, you can say "This is me and I'm a man".
The gender police will never knock on your door. Your gender is your own business and no one else's. No one can tell you what a man can or can't do. There is no wrong way to be a man. Be the kind of man you want to be, the kind that sparks joy. You can do it, bro. I believe in you.

it's been so hard for me as a trans man these past few years. unfortunately the internet has had a huge hand in that. i won't get into it too much from that angle, but i will tell you how i felt, and still feel.
i feel like the scum of the earth, a lot of the time. like im betraying women, like i can't be proud and happy. like there's something gross about me, irredeemable and unwanted. like my pain and joy don't matter. like i need to conform as much as i physically can - and run away from who i really am.
that led me down a really dark road. addiction, psych wards, suicidality, the whole nine yards. im 117 days sober today, and i'd be lying to you if i told you it's sunshine and rainbows. it's not. but it is so much better. im finally getting the clarity of mind to look at myself again, trying to discover myself for the first time.
that's scary as hell, but the good news is, if i reconnect with myself, things can get better. and you know what? i don't deserve that - i need that. being my true self isn't something i need to earn, or prove. it's something to be experienced and felt and valued. self-actualization is a human need.
so to any other trans men who have struggled with who they are, whether it expressed itself as it did in me or not, i want you to know you're not alone. you're not, and you shouldn't be. you are allowed to exist, just as you are, right here in this moment. all the things you've been through matter. all the things you've yet to experience matter. you matter.
our suicide rates are absymally high, and we need to stick together. all of us, not just trans men. there is family out there for us. we can find love and compassion and freedom and joy. and other people, whether online or not, cannot change that. the world is so much bigger than the hate that's out there. there's so much life to be lived.
there is so much love waiting for you. i hope you stick around to find it. i'd promise to be with you to do that, but i can't. i will tell you though, i will try my damned hardest to become my best self. not just for me, but for you. for you, for you, for you. i love you, man. and one day you'll love yourself too. so will i.
be as honest, open, and willing as you can. hold on tight to hope, even if only for the ride. one day you won't regret it.

Fun fact: Abortion is ALWAYS justified and IS healthcare. You don’t need a reason to have an abortion. It’s your body. Even if you were healthy and perfectly happy with a faithful partner and financial stability, you could and you should still be able to get an abortion if you didn’t want to have a child, and no one, not even your partner, had any right to shame you for choosing to take care of yourself and YOUR body. A reason should NEVER be required in order for someone to receive proper healthcare for their body, and abortion IS healthcare.
— X
ABORTION IS BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS
"But what about the baby?" That's not a baby, babe. It's a chunk of meat in your body conceived by cum.
By your "abortion is killing an innocent baby" logic, everybody who has swallowed their partner's cum is a cannibal and every innocent child has died every time someone cum outside of their partner's hole. Also children died if you jerked off without putting your cum inside someone's hole. That's your logic.
So how about, instead of trying to protect someone's cum that hasn't developed into a human being with a soul, we protect actual human beings whose unwanted meats are growing inside of their bodies?

The thing about testosterone being a controlled substance means that acess to it for hrt is restricted. While it makes access a significant issue for many people and an easy and effective way to prevent trans men and mascs from transitioning (as we've seen terfs campaign for and succeed at doing in Britain) it also means that is very easy for health care professionals to be able to take it away from trans men/mascs arbitrarily. This is most aborant in cases where trans men/mascs are forced to detransition to gain access to abortions after being raped. However, the first sign of an issues tangentially related to hormones a gp, without any training in trans people or hormones, can and will stop a person's testosterone. Apart from how stressful it is to know that for the rest of your life you'll be dependent on the goodwill of a random person, this has measurable negative consequences for a trans person subjected too it.
Going off t fucking sucks at the best of time, but being forced off t will most likely result in depression and worsening mental health for a trans man/masc, who are already one of the most likely groups to attempt suicide. It can also put a trans person at risk if they suddenly start being visibly trans again, especially if they're closeted in, say, a work place environment. Trans people, including trans men, are already one of the most targeted groups of harassment and violence and sexual assalt and forcibly reducing or stopping t can out people and risk their safety. And a gp won't see this or care about this, or attempt to treat a trans man/masc first or ask for their opinion or situation.
Ultimately, testosterone is seen as entirely optional and so the first resort when something goes wrong it to take it away, when it should be considered the last resort, and is considered the last resort for cis men. And as long as testosterone continues to be a controlled substance it will remain like this.
(edit for clarification: I am a kiwi, this post was intended as a general critique of accessing t through health care systems - based in my lived experience in NZ and what ive heard from international trans ppl; including but not limited to the USA)

if you have trauma around men, it is unfortunately your responsibility to work on it. we are under no obligation to tolerate behaviors that hurt men and gender diverse individuals.
i know. it fucking sucks. it's unfair and it should have never happened. but your trauma responses are harming your community.
if you refuse to do the work required to heal, you'll end up surrounded only by people acting out their trauma who take no accountability for the damage they do to one another. it's only a matter of time before they end up hurting you. terfs are not your allies. radical feminists are not your friends.
you deserve to live in peace, to exist in a healthy community and be open and honest and vulnerable with your friends. do not let trauma take that away from you.
do better. for you and for your community.

So women will have to do some things in order to keep them from getting pregnant and possibly dying or getting arrested for having a miscarriage.
In Korea there's a "4B" movement (called the "4 No's" in America):
No sex with men
No dating men
No having babies
No marriage
Needless to say, you should uninstall any dating apps you've been using.
But most of these men are losers who won't be getting any consensual sex anyway, so I'd like to add something to the list:
No meaningful interactions with a guy, period. I've seen incels assume that the slightest piece of positive attention from a woman means that they're into them, and they fly off the handle when their dick isn't sucked right then and there. Don't give them that.
Also, arm yourself with anything you can. Mace is legal where I live. You can have brass knuckles in some states. (Look up "wild cat key chains.")
This isn't to punish them. This to keep you as safe as possible.
Of course there are some exceptions to this. My husband is a left-leaning guy who immediately assumed that we're not going to be having vaginal sex if birth control (including condoms) is banned. If he wasn't so concerned about my health I would've gotten a divorce while it's still legal. If you're married to a man like that, then keep him. Otherwise-
Part of Project 2025 is banning divorce, period. I'm also almost positive that this includes making marital rape legal. (I'm pretty sure it is still legal in some states.) If you were thinking about getting a divorce, do it now.
