You guys 🥹🥹
My first goal in MFP was 139.5lbs because that just puts me at a normal BMI. Grain of salt and all with that stat but still. I’ve lost almost 30lbs you guys. I hit my first big goal. I can’t fucking believe it. I’ve never consistently lost weight beyond like 5-10lbs and now here I am… This is surreal!
The journey does continue too! I know I still want to lose fat and I’m guessing about 120lbs would look & feel good at my height, depending on how much muscle I have and all. That goal weight is much more arbitrary though.
But damn. I fucking did it. I hit a goal!!!!

It's kinda hard to tell but that first 4/16 is from 2022. Basically took a long break from the 2022 holidays until this past summer haha. But then I kept it going!

also fellow body affected gals and pals: even if you are what they call "overweight", losing big amounts of weight over a short amount of time for no obvious reason isn't healthy and your doc should check that out. no, it's not conventient and you shouldn't let it just happen because you could use it. get it checked.

I'm in the process of losing weight. I want/need to drop 100lbs. In total I'd like to be at my goal weight while balancing healthy muscle tone and my preffered aesthetic, because although my brain is very mean and my sadness makes me feel sometimes horrible. I don't actually want to cease existing.
That being said progress before was of 26lbs down from 241 to 215. I sadly gained back 15lbs with loads of stress eating and poor sleep hygiene due to life situations. And well.l, I'm here trying to lose weight again. I lost 4lbs already. So yeah.
SW: 241 lbs
1st: 215 lbs (-26 lbs)
2nd: 234 lbs (+15 lbs)
3rd: 226 lbs (-8 lbs)
4th: 222 lbs (-12 lbs)
5th: 218 lbs (-16 lbs)
Ugw: 120lbs
That's how I want to look like at the end of this journey. The scary part for me would be maintaining the weight loss. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there :D

#tw ed#ed tw#tw eating disorder#downloaded a new app to track my meals and macronutrients and what not in order to try to hold myself accountable for overeating#which i feel like ive recently been starting to do A Lot#only to find out i am consuming on average less than half of what i’m ‘supposed’ to according to the app which is literally designed for#weight loss goals and so already gives you a smaller allotment of caloric intake than you reasonable should have#plus when i set up the account i lied and said i never exercise bc i knew it would give me a smaller amount of calories than if i was hones#thought i was too recovered and swung the wrong direction only to find out i haven’t even made it to my original goal#anyways all this to say….#perhaps something to talk to my therapist about#sorry for ed posting if i missed a trigger tag that’s more commonly used than these pls lmk i’m just trying to vent not trying to cause#others problems#personal

in the course of 2 & half months ive dropped from over 1500 cal to 900 to 500.
ive lose 5kgs and plan to lose 15 more by the end of this year and drop to 300cals by feb.

Kept meaning to post after my 50k race, but got busy and just had some stuff going on. So this is my recap I guess/update of what im working towards now.
So my Ultra marathon was October 21st which happened to be on my 29th birthday, which was so fun! Longest training run i did was 25 miles 2 weeks before the race. We found out we were expecting baby #3 which we were so excited about! I wanted to talk with my ob to make sure they thought it was ok to do. I had trained all summer, so they gave the ok but hubby and I decided it would be safer to not do the whole distance. I did 18 miles, as it was a 5k loop that you just do as many times as you can in 6 hrs. It rained the whole time but it was SO much fun! Met 2 amazing strong ladies who I had the pleasure to run with till i was done. Beautiful trails and just a wonderful experience! Definitely would love to do it again!
Long story short we found out we had a missed miscarriage a couple weeks ago. I was over 10 weeks but found out baby had passed weeks before. Very rough thing to go through, makes my heart break so much for everyone who has had to go through any loss. We are moving forward and are just grateful for our 2 beautiful girls! I was afraid maybe it was because of my running. But my ob reassured me that running can not cause a miscarriage. So i am just trying to move forward.
I am running again, trying to get back into more of a routine. Running brings such joy and peace to me. Im sure other runners can relate, its my happy place to think. I did a turkey trot on Thanksgiving and have a fun Christmas 10k this Saturday.
Im back at trying to lose the last bit of weight. I am 177lbs, my goal for right now is 172 but ultimately i would love to be 165-167 or just more toned and to fit into my clothes pre kids 😅. Just trying to make an exercise routine and having a calorie deficit works really nice for me. My brother and I are doing a challenge losing 10lbs by Christmas. Im half way there!
I want to find another running goal to work towards as I enoy the schedule and just look forward to having something to work for. Though with the time of year here in Michigan im not sure im brave enough to run a race in the snowy months 😂. Maybe i should focus on toning up more and do more strength for the winter months and just do 3-5 miles when I can. Maybe work on getting faster 5 and 10k times.
If anyone has suggestions for a plan of how to just tone up/build muscle I would be very interested. I do strength workouts on youtube but i am sucker for cardio and typically choose that over strength 😝. But i think i could use some toning up lol.
