its actually so crazy how the writing team was like “lets make grief and loss important themes for alisaie as a character” so in BCOB she learns about making peace with her grandfather’s death to live life on her own terms, for her own sake. she goes out herself to explore eorzea. and then emery dies while shes powerless to do anything about it. and then she almost dies believing that urianger was going to betray her and the scions. and then she watches the same tower her brother was supposed to be in get bombed not knowing if he escaped in time. and then she watches the people she loves be picked off one by one, physically present but spiritually gone, while being powerless to help them. and then she loses contact with alphinaud (again) not knowing if he’s okay. if he’s safe. and then the next time she sees him immediately its his limp body being carried by a stranger. and then she begs the warrior of light to not leave her alone. and then she watches tesleen die powerless to do anything about it. and then she watches the warrior of light nearly succumb to becoming a sin-eater, risking dooming not only the fate of the first, but the source. and then she finds the cold bodies of licinia and her sister, ultimately more victims of their despair than anything else, people who she’d been trying to help. and then s

More Pokémon Horizons Episode 25 spoilers under the cut!
As much as I laughed from how this played out like an unintentionally comedic moment---can I mention how much this actually does to separate Amethio from the rest of the Explorers; how he's actually honorable and respects Friede as a rival of sorts?
The rest of the Explorers tend to use underhanded tricks to get what they want (Spinel brainwashing Liko and attempting to wipe her memory, Onyx and Sango trying to overwhelm the others against direct orders whilst causing the destruction of everything else around them), but Amethio has been unique in how he's regarded as 'by the books' (by Friede) and constantly tries to be on equal footing with his opponent- even if it means putting himself at the disadvantage when he has more resources to utilize.
He could've very easily overwhelmed Friede by having both of his mons attack at once (given how Captain Pikachu hadn't arrived yet)---and yet he- doesn't. Which is just so interesting to me as he's meant to have a similar goal as the rest of the Explorers (which is to retrieve the pendant/Terapagos by any means necessary).
So in this case, was it really a matter of defeating Friede so that he could easily confront Liko afterwards,,, or,,,,, was he trying to prove himself somehow? 👀✨✨✨

It's 100% true that the Roy siblings did not choose to be Logan's children and Tom and Greg and the old guard did choose to work for him so their relationships to Logan are fundamentally different, and the degree of culpability they bear for their own moral degradation is also wildly different. But workplace emotional abuse is also very real and omnipresent in the way Logan treats the people who work for him. And one of the impacts of workplace emotional abuse is creating an extreme attachment to the abuser and becoming less cognizant and even defensive of their abuse towards yourself and others, and in cases where the emotional abuse is institutionalized and systemic it can also create a strong aversion to leaving because your whole sense of personal identity becomes wrapped up in the organization and so being forced to leave can cause an intense psychological crisis. I don't think the situation of working for Logan is at all equivalent to being his child but I also think that it's a bit misguided to imply that Tom and Gerri and Frank and Karl are operating from a place of pure rationality without any undue psychological influences when they make the choice to stay with and support Logan

Feppino (Fake Peppino, I call him either Feppino, Fakey, or Feppi)
but what if Feppino could mimic voices it’s heard to lure people in, I know he can’t necessarily talk- and just makes like a buncha distorted noises and sounds but what if it could do that like that one SCP that I can’t ever fucking remember the number of
like imagine just hearing a voice of presumably one of your friends calling out to you or calling for help and then you get inside and... THAT is just waiting for you

Orym had to tell Keyleth about Imogen... he had!
The only other option he had was to tell her in secret, but he chose open honesty.
Notice he didn't say anything at first when Liliana was mentioned, but then Imogen starts talking about maybe Liliana saving them IN FRONT of Keyleth... and Keyleth was watching! (Matt did that check that Liam and Marisha clocked) Now, maybe Imogen was just stating a doubt (she might even be right) but Keyleth has no context for this and she could think Imogen was making excuses for Liliana.
Orym has known Keyleth all his life, she has always been just. Unless Imogen does something to betray them, he has no reason to fear for her, and all the reason to tell the truth, explain the situation, and vouch for Imogen in Keyleth's eyes... which would help to maintain the trust Keyleth has on him.
Look at the table at that moment, no one was surprised. Laura thought Liam was gonna talk about Vax instead of Imogen's connection with Liliana, but she was not surprised by Orym sharing that information.
Right afterward he does that, we find out Keyleth was suspecting already. Orym made the right move! The smart one! He, and Bell's Hells too, can't afford misstrust from their allies! At that moment, the best option was honesty.
The only alternative was Imogen explaining on her own, but she suggested to Orym a change of theme instead of coming clean, the chance was right there, and she didn't take it. Orym hasn't talked with Imogen since their reunion. Before the fight with Ludinus, Fearne and him were planning what to do in case Imogen got tempted by her mother and Ruidus and all that. Let's be honest, Imogen herself has admitted she has felt tempted by the power, and we don't know how much control she has over all of this... Orym has reasons to be concerned, and Imogen trying to change the topic of the conversation instead of saying what it's kinda obvious (she and Liliana look alike), don't assure those concerns, hid best move... in every direction, was to be honest. Putting all the cards in the table.
Keyleth tells Orym what to do in case of betrayal in front of the whole group, so everyone knows where everyone stands. Like, if Imogen has no intentions of betraying them, then she has nothing to fear at all. If she has that intention, she now knows that she'll have to fight everyone else except maybe for Laudna (if she attacks Orym, she'll have to fight Fearne, if she attacks Fearne she'll have to fight Chet and Ashton, is she attacks Ashton and go against the gods she'll have to fight FGC*), and I say "maybe Laudna" because I've noticed a trend of them been tempted by power and the darkness on their own... but not wanting that path for the other, in fact Imogen made an interesting change the time they were apart, she is the one trying to fight the temptation now and keeping herself and Laudna away from the darker path.
* I know that maybe others would jump to protect Orym and start this domino, but the one person I have no doubts it would do it, is Fearne.
