poor megumi would be so tired. like, hey ! it's not that easy to be a grade two jujutsu sorcerer and a student at the same time.

he needs some rest. and he'd be lying if he said he didn't want to take little nappy naps in your arms. yeah, he's just that needy when he's exhausted.

"hey, where you goin'..." he mumbled into the pillow as you were about to leave the bed. "i'm thirsty, meg—" he cut you mid-sentence. "drink later."

of course, you obliged and laid back down. you didn't want to irritate your sleepy boyfriend. he already had too much weight on his shoulders, and adding some more wasn't the best option on the table.

he instantly nuzzled his face in your neck, eyelashes fluttering against your skin. "m'tired..." he mumbled. "i know you are." you replied quietly, caressing his dark hair.

sometimes, you forgot how needy he could be. but you didn't complain. never. maybe that's why megumi loved you so much. but the funny thing is that he'd always deny how clingy he was. he just didn't want to admit it because you always teased him. but deep down, he knew you were right.

he couldn't help himself. how could he ? you were just so soft, so warm. you felt like a dream. sometimes, he'd even say the most romantic, adorable, heart-wrenching thing before going to whatever thing he was doing. he was just so clueless. "y'know, being with you feels like home. i'm home." he said before going back to brushing his teeth.

but you wouldn't trade him for anything in the world <3

As I get ready to go to sleep in preparation for an early work day tomorrow, it occurs to me that I should give a small update on things for the immediate future.

I finally sold my house. And today, I signed the purchase agreement for the one I’m buying. I have a few more things to handle here and then, in about three and a half weeks, I’ll be making the move more than halfway across the country.

This will be a huge transition for me for more than the obvious. It will likely be mid August before I can get back to regularly posting. Incorrect quotes will likely continue to be the most reliable thing but I schedule them for days and days in advance.

Anyway, I will be back on a more regular basis. Thank you all for your patience and support.

Welp! A full month and a questionable amount of hours later! I think the sucker is finally done, lolol. Now, as per my agreement with my partner, I'm free to draw pinups to my hearts content. >:}

I'm excited again!! I'm so excited about seeing the sea, hearing the waves and enjoying the light of the sun!!! I'm excited about getting a tan and having sun-bleached hair!!!! I'm excited about all the yummy food I'm going to eat!!!! about the books I'm gonna read!!!!! I'm so excited about sleeping in a bigger bed where I can fit all my plushies!!!! I'm excited to be away from my computer!!!!! I'm excited!!!!!!

I still feel exhausted but. I'm learning to be patient with myself. and fuck it I'm going to romanticize the rest of my summer break!!! I'm gonna be obnoxiously happy from now on because fuck I'm done feeling like a depressed slug 😤😤

tdy was great

we ended up finishing all the good rides by 5 pm so i went back with my friend to her house for a bit. we got recommended a random show on Netflix and now we're hooked - it was Gilmore Girls actually 💀💀💀. Never thought I'd be into real-life based stuff that weren't movies but I guess I've grown up. I absolutely hated serials/shows except for the seven season 7 about snake ladies called naagin my mom was addicted to.

Snacked on cherry tomatoes - they're kinda tangy but weird in their own good way. Idk if I liked them or hated them tbh.

My voice is gone from screaming on the roller coasters I'm afraid. I'll have to take it easy for the next couple of days lol.

My feet are killing me though smh. I would kill for a foot massage (in the most wholesome way possible).

Life update: Passed four of my 8 exams to get my high school diploma as an adult. Have to learn for and pass another four exams this month, am going to visit the local nursing school at my local college and hopefully apply and get accepted for an unpaid intership at the local hospital which is going to eat up what remains of my vacation days.
