He would have shot Lucas who had nothing to do with it at all, but he would have shot him. Eddie isnt stupid enough to think Jason wouldn't have shot him. Probably wouldnt have even let him speak.

That mob came for him when he did nothing wrong.

He lives with the fear that a mob might come for him again, only this time he wont even be able to deny what they're hunting him for.
