Hey so uhh it's been a while. (If you look closely, squint a little, I literally made some of these photos over a year ago. I feel SICK. This AU is ancient.)

Here’s the SNL episode once again for the uninitiated.

Okay so hear me out. I know a lot of people were excited to see Caleb discover the batcave yada yada but the #1 rule is No One Figures It Out. Otherwise, the entire point of the series is obsolete and it ends. (Tim does find out ofc but not Caleb. None of the main cast. No OCs.) So he gets let go from babysitting Dick and Jason, mostly because Bruce and Alfred realize their mistake, and he never sees the batcave. RIP. ANYWAYS hope y’all forgive me. Didn’t realize I was implying that until everyone started screaming about it in the comments. Caleb is still blissfully unaware :)

No idea when the next part is coming out. I am currently in an airport banging this out before I convince myself not to post it AGAIN but you guys deserve better. It’s the holidays. So Merry December 19th-ish. Peace :)

I feel like this last episode really has been such a big reminder that Jawbone is not in any way trained to be a guidance counselor. Is he amazing at his job yes he’s great he’s helped so many kids but he is not legally qualified, plus there’s the added factor of him only having the job because of a party of students who are currently at the school and his adoptive daughter stepdaughter and the kid whose been living with him for months all go there so he can’t be truly impartial in matters concerning them like he’s supposed to. Do I think he shouldn’t have the job no because he’s amazing at it otherwise but I do think that there should be a second counselor with no connections to any of the students

sorry to go on about this, but i'm SO annoyed by the lack of education around sa survivors and mental health issues.

yeah, non-con fics usually stem from survivors themselves as well as people who struggle with mental health!! shocking, i know!! how other people cope with their trauma, if it genuinely does not directly harm anyone else, does not concern you.

i was sexually assaulted. and the way i coped with it afterwards is one of my deepest regrets. i was putting myself in dangerous situations, and went through similar experiences again.

i wish that i'd, instead, channelled that through fiction. WORDS. that did not harm myself.

as a fallout of my experience, i read a bit of non-con. (it wasn't my thing, but that's besides the point.) i've known of friends and mutuals who read it, because there is POWER in it.

you can stop reading at any time. your mind can change the outcomes any time. that cannot be said for REAL LIFE SITUATIONS.

it is NOT fair for you to accuse or judge other survivors based on your own opinions on what's 'right' and 'wrong'. it's not fair in the slightest.

do you think you're better, because you use different outlets for your trauma? do you think that allows you to call victims a multitude of names, because your coping mechanisms are better?

i, genuinely, think that writing and reading is one of the only safe places for trauma and exploration. i truly do. if it's not your thing, block.

block tags. block blogs. delete your socials, for gods sake.

but it is never an excuse to attack other people who are doing their best with the shitty situations they've got.

It feels so weird that as a bisexual woman I experienced prejudice twice from inside the LGBT+ community.

The first time was bc I thought i was asexual bc i felt the same way towards men AND woman and it couldn't possibly be sexual attraction (talk about internalized homophobia). So many people told me to kms for "pretending to be queer". Many more told me they could "fix" my sexual orientation with sex.

The second time was when i realized i was bisexual and people in the community (mostly lesbians, unfortunately) invalidated my sexuality and i suddenly became a "sexual deviant", a "farce that pretended to be bisexual for male sexual gratification" and a "cheater". Again I was told to kms. Again people said they could "fix" me with sex.

So, in one expierence I was not sexual enough, the other i was overly sexual.

In one I could never be with someone, the other I could never be with "just one" person.

Did my behavior change? No.

Did my morals change? No.

Did i suddenly go from not fucking to having sex with each and every person i could find? No.

I just had a better understanding of my own sexual orientation and opted for a label that best reflected that understanding.

And yet, people still dont understand why so many bisexuals are ace inclusionists...
