I was thinking of everything Pokemon and then randomly remembered that professor Birch is canonically 35 at the time of RSE/ORAS. Nothing too weird, and considering how he and Norman are friends it would be safe to assume he's around that age too.

Then I remembered that Brendan and May are 12 during that same time. Meaning that Birch and Norman would've been around 23 when their kids were born.

For reference, that's only couple years older than Red and Blue are by the time of gen 7

I am typing this while wearing my new (vintage) kid opera gloves! 😄 The great thing about thin leather gloves is that, since they're skin (sorry), they're touchscreen compatible! Hahaha! Not something our ancestors were planning for, but convenient nonetheless... It took FOR-EV-ER to put them on, because they were old and stiff, and I had to carefully stretch and warm them up, but HOPEFULLY now that they're used to being my shape, it won't take as long next time? 😬 (Please oh please!) It also took FOR-EV-ER to do up the little wrist buttons WHILE wearing both gloves on all my fingers, but MAAAAYBE that will get better with practice too?
