I actually pulled up the records to check. It is definitely my little sister in the picture because my great-grandpa died two months before my little cousin was even born. So I was also three at the time of this picture for sure.
I finally have more tapes, so I'm back to transcribing my great-grandpa's auto-biography stuff.
Just this mental image of him in the late 1920s/early 1930s, in elementary school, wanting to be a bus driver and just spending time at the front of the bus, watching the driver and asking questions. And finding a parked bus and sitting in the driver's seat, pretending to drive the bus. It is so precious.
Oh, btw, I found the only picture I have of me and him (he died when I was about three or four):
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/f15af48bab23f88a0d066ac8b15a71d1/e80bc7b556f68efb-83/s540x810/ac29d9ea9f15818ba7f1c856ecb6c8c42d7e31f6.jpg)
I'm not sure if that is my baby sister or my little cousin with us (the two of them looked so similar in all their pictures until they were about five, it is impossible to tell unless they are both in the picture). But little toddler me with them and great-grandpa :D
#faith talks#also checking the records it appeared i did have six great-grandparents alive when i born#(as far as i can tell because i can't find records for numbers 7 and 8 existing at all. it is weird)#(the ninth died before i was born. i'm not even counting my mom's grandparents cause half of them died before she was born.#and the other three died before i was born. long before my mom adopted me)#he was just the last one i saw in person#because three died before him (and i don't even remember him let alone the other three)#one i just never got a chance to see again cause she lived so far away and my family life was bad till after she passed#and the other only died seven years ago#but she was my grandmother's step-mother and really not nice to my grandmother and her siblings#so (sad to say) none of us really made an effort to keep in touch after her husband passed#i love just dropping all this weird-ass lore i find through doing stuff like this in the tags#my family history be wack with people changing last names and adoptions and disownments and completely missing people and records#sometimes for more reasonable reasons#sometimes not#we were farmers and mill workers too! why is this so complicated XD

Hello everyone.
This will be a rather long post about some things I wanna adress, including the fact that I plan to stop writing for Pressure, my OCS and other peoples Ocs in the near future.
Down under the cut is a list with my personal view, issues and some other things that lead to this decision. Maybe I miss a lot or don't go too deep into detail but the main points are covered.
But before I would like to add that this is MY opinion and MY choice. I let you think of it what you want but I also request that you respect my actions.
The first point is probably already clear from the start. Maybe some noticed, maybe not but I fell out of love with the fandom and the game itself. It became boring to play, the characters lost their charm and I can't come up with any creative scenarios anymore and the ones that already exists have lost their meaning. This may sound like the typical burnout thing and maybe it is but I'm more than certain that I wanna step away from the game and the fandom to focus on other things that bring me more joy. Maybe I start a multifandom writing blog or I just learn another hobby.
The second thing that is close connected to the first point is the fandom of the game, including the community on tumblr. A huge part are super sweet people with a very creative side. I would go as far and say that I brought some of those together with my projects and writing and it really makes me happy to see everyone interact so friendly on my blog.
But something that I haven't adressed is the fact that there are also plenty of hardcore fans, haters and weird people in my askbox or general in the fandom. It is to be expected when someone gains a massive amount of followers. But I do not accept the fact that people judge me based on what I write, who I write for, when I write and if I write at all. I delete those asks. Some telling me that my community project is awful, unserious and pulls other ocs into dirt. Other people are claiming that I don't write Sebastians Character right and oh wow seriously? I am not Sebastians creator, I do not have that ultimate deep lore and mindset to write a person 1:1. I get hate for my own stories and of course the fans could now come to my protetion and say „But Chea don't listen to the haters, you are amazing“ but it doesn't fix the thing in a slightest.
Also regards the people that praise me, some of them ( I won't name anyone) are counting to those weird people that force me. There were 2 or 3 people that acted all sweet in public only to try and take control of some story plots etc.
Also, I started writing when Pressure was first raising to be popular. There weren't many pressure writers out there. I am usually not someone that posts their work online, I don't comment on stuff and I rarely like something. But I really wanted to see more pressure fanfictions. Now we reached the point where there are more than plenty amazing writers and I can quit. There is no need for me to continue something that only makes me hate myself more because everytime I open my notes to write a story for pressure it feels like a mental torture. I leave the writing to the other blogs.
The status for now:
AASB gets discontinued.
Reverse AU gets discontinued.
Streamer AU will recieve 6 more chapters to end the story on a good term.
House of Entities will get continued for a small period of time, probably till I am done with the Streamer AU. There is no plan for the chapter count yet.
All requests in the inbox will get deleted and the inbox itself will be closed after Streamer AU finished.
Any other unnamed project will get discontinued as well.
All stories, one shots, series, drabbles and other works of mine are free to use. Other authors can pick them up, re-write them or just make an own story out of those. I drop all rights for the ideas and I won't demand any credits either. Maybe someone else would like to continue House of Entities as well.
My final word, which may sound repeating: I do not change my opinion, there won't be any motivation talks or sugar coated words that will change my stand in those things. I know some of you will try and comfort me but this is really not needed. I wish for you all to accept the outcome of this situation and move on more or less.
I apologize dearly because this is very sudden and I hope you all will understand.

COTL Freaky Tierlist
ALRIGHT LISTEN UP CHUCKLEFUCKS
I'm about to drop some life changing lore and if you can't handle it, that's tough titties my brothers, sisters and theys. If you don't agree with this tier list, you're either a normal person (in which case why are you here run for the hills) or you're so damn freaky that God forgot that was possible when he made me.
WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, FROM LEAST TO MOST FREAKY:
F:
Kallamar - Need I say more? This loveable twink is soft as his husbands knickers and by God would we not have him any other way. This fucker can't even fathom anything beyond the most painfully dull missionary imaginable, and that's just as an excuse to cuddle more afterwards. "But Joffy" I hear you say, "He's a renowned slut he should be in A!" Wrong. He couldn't be more vanilla, it's all an act and anyone with more than 3 spouses is just fucking lying at that point. Cmon, he may be a God, but deep inside that cowards octopussy is a love for the mundane.
D:
Heket - Controversial I know. But hear me out here. Heket has spent all her life getting fucked by life, she has literally no time for your stupid fleshy appendages, and to top it off she's the most desperately useless lesbian this side of the lands of the old faith. Renowned from Darkwood to Anchordeep, this bitch is fucking stupid when it comes to "rizzing a shawty" and it shows because she spends all her time yapping about the good ol' days. She's only slightly freakier than Kallamar because she's probably into being burned by cigarettes or some shit, but let's face facts. Inexperience guides this poor phrog into the D tier, despite her aversion to "D" to begin with.
Leshy - This stupid dumb stupid worm barely knows that sex exists, and if you asked him what his favourite position is he'd say "1st" and then promptly challenge you to a footrace. The God of Chaos has no time for ropes and rails, but he's at least got a good heart and is pretty gay for that cat. I've watched this stupid fucker get divorced in two different AU's because he couldn't live with the guilt, you think he's surviving post-nut clarity? No. Enough said, he's keeping it clean and calm in the bedroom, and that cat couldn't be happier about that considering his daily life is fucking mental. Keep the Chaos outside, inside? Domestic worm only.
C:
Goat - Now this is where it gets tricky, you might think that the gruff exterior of a mass murdering psychopath is enough to demonstrate a willingness to get tied upside down and spank the monkey till the sun don't shine. But brother, let me tell you, it ain't fuckin true. Don't get me wrong, this goat can fuck, and boy does he, but most of the time it's all bark no bite in the flirting department. Easily flustered, puts up an external image of punk-rock to hide that he's an utter cinnamon bun, the whole works. That being said, with a long term partner? Buckle up. That crown isn't dildo-purple for no reason, prepare for bliss and potential bliss-ters.
B:
Lamb - OKAY HOLD YOUR HORSES this is gonna be a tough one. You've gotta be thinking, that's either wayyy too high for this silly lil fella, or wayyy to low for this absolute cock devouring demon, but let me remind you, this one here is subjective. This is the only character I've seen written as everything from an asexual to a violent and sadistic cannibal, so what fairer rating than the exact middle? It truly does depends, if you're on your "cannibalism is routine and fun" shit then you're gonna be rocketing right up there, straight to S baby, unless you have some kind of twisted mentality you need checked by a licensed psychiatrist to somehow think that's tame; not to shame it mind you. But if you're more on the side of the lamb's that typically get posted by a cuter artist, than you're gonna be rocking a D or even an F. This little fuzzy fucker is traumatized, some type of gay no matter what, and certainly a wildcard, and what better way to celebrate that then with a middle-of-the-road approach? Besides, their most famous partner is certainly a bit more repressed, which leads us to:
A:
Narinder - Are we surprised? This fuzzy little furball has been trapped in prison for 1000 years with his two kids and NOTHING ELSE to do except hope he can get back on the market. The moment he's freed, it's gonna be hell unleashed, but thankfully 99% of the time he's either so angry or so oblivious it turns into a slowburn of passion with his fuzzy lil sheepguy that he definitely "doesn't" have a thing for. But, as the well versed know, this motherfucker has seen shit, and being the God of Death is gonna give you a weird taste in, well, "tastes" than a normal life will. I mean really, the guys fuckin surrounded by miserable dead people all day, he needs stress relief and his enthusiasm for revenge borders on the horny-sided. This guy fucks, but mostly gets fucked, and remains The One Who Bottoms in almost every AU. Cmon people, if you've read this far you've fuckin seen it with your own eyes, do I really to lecture about it more?
S:
The Mura™ - The fucker that started it all. I bet until now you thought I wouldn't include this loveable spider and awful mother-sibling of 4, but here we are. This goddamn spider has single-parented a family of genocidal psychopaths since history started being recorded, and to match that then had to almost literally kill one of their own brother-kid-things to save the others. Stressed and in need of relief? Check. You know what makes a motherfucker freaky? Repression, and this spider is goddamn dripping in it (pun intended) and is ready to burst. I myself may be a Shamura aroace truther, but if I have to put a letter on it, it's 100% in the universes where this spider fucks. Copulates, eats your head, kills your family mid-coitus, the whole shebang, but boy is that gonna be the best last nut you'll ever bust. This spider's an expert, literally the God of War and by God are they gonna wage war on your holes, not to mention ALSO being the God of Wisdom? I mean come on, somebody had to write the Kama Sutra, and it was this horny bastard
And that's it
You may have questions, you may have alternative takes, to be honest I'll probably change my mind the moment I hit post and remember that actually Heket deepthroated a glizzy on the 5th of October last year, but honestly? Who gives a shit. These gods be gay people, that's all that matters.
Goodnight, Lamb Bless, and may you never encounter The Mura during ovulation. Godspeed soldiers, amen.
#cw suggestive#cw sex mention#cw swearing#cotl#cult of the lamb#cotl bishops#cult of the lamb bishops#shoutout to cconfusedkat you inspired this#sorry kat but your Mura got me cooking#poor allure :(#If anyone sees this#I'm sorry#but I'm also not#we've all wondered#stay safe all of you#love you all#back to wholesome programming now :3#JoffyJoff

have you seen the kamimura lore drop and what are your thoughts?
ohbmy god this could’ve been so embarrassing cause i hadn’t seen it yet and was so confused as to what you meant so I was planning on just yapping about kamimura in general but then I saw it LMAO UM I WAS SO HAPPY CAUSE KAMIMURA CONTENT!!!!! KAMIMURA LORE!!! AND THEN SO FUCKING INCREDIBLY SAD FROM IT LIKE....THAT'S GORE... THAT'S GORE OF MY COMFORT CHARACTER.... um yeah I have work for law to do but I got too into reading the lore drop so lets talk about it! (I will get to my work after trust) spoiler warning for chapters 1-3 and tetro typical trigger warnings!!! take care of yourself!!
I am not going to cover the ableism portion or too much of the diagnosis/hospital parts because I am not personally disabled and would like to let other disabled people talk about it, so i'll leave the rest of the conversation to others in the community!
also i took notes while reading it to organize my thoughts like usual (im so bad at putting words together well). some of these are kinda funny so here are some highlights lmfao
alright, now lets actually be serious.
firstly, I'm so glad that kamimura at least had a good childhood. I think it really shows in the way he interacts with the tetro pink cast that he was a sociable and happy kid! my mom actually teaches preschool so shes taught me a lot about early childhood psychology (shout out to my mother guys!!!!!). one of the biggest takeaways I've had from her is that the first five years of one's life are the most important in development! that's what Montessori programs keep in mind and throughout preschool and early kinder, they take time to establish learning through play; a lot of people have the misconception that letting kids play at school is just letting them mess around, but it's crucial in building their skills! kids learn to socialize with others and to problem solve; that foundation is very important for everything else moving forward in life! I could rant about how preschools need to utilize this more, esp in the American education system, but I digress. my main point goes to something I (and a couple other people I'm not original in this LMAO) have mentioned before about how it makes more sense out of hasegawa and kamimura, that they'd kill off kamimura because he had other people. kamimura, despite having further and further cut himself off from the world right till the end (until the kg at least), still managed to make meaningful connections, like tamba and hayashi, even if they weren't like ideal. the way he approaches tamba is very caring in a way that can seem like it's not, yk? likely it stems from his trust issues, it's scary to put your genuine real feelings out there, so hiding them with some snide remarks is easier. luckily, tamba has a similar approach so hey. shout out tamba n kamimura you will always be special to me.
anyways, its both so amazing and so heartbreaking that his parents were so loving and supportive, but died too soon. I do wonder about the role of attachment in this case; like specifically in babies/toddlers, they get attached to their parents usually because that's the first person they see, the first to take care of them. kamimura was able to get that love and support from his parents, even when it got so much harder and the days in the hospitals got longer. so having it all be taken away when you're NINE? that's obviously gonna destroy you, and that leads to his trust issues and isolation. he was able to thrive still as a young child because he had his parents to support him! so when that's all gone, how else are you supposed to cope?
yeah fuck you family friend, that was brutal. I cant even imagine coming home from school to find your parents absolutely desecrated. the day of his parents death beginning the routine of staying locked in his room.... oh my god like what if I cried (I did). that probably changed the way he thought about his room; his room was an escape from the horrors of the outside world. if he just stayed in the room, he wouldn't have to experience the fucked up world. it became a habit. EUGAHHD I'm in shambles.
after the murder of his parents, it's understandable that it shook kamimura and his aunt to their core. that was a violent murder (by a man who was literally just rejected romantically.... its so fucking upsetting that that is a common crime). his aunt wasn't even ready to have kids so having the responsibility of taking in kamimura must've been a lot. In regards to homesick, despite the very clear distance in their relationship, kamimura really seems to appreciate her being there, even if it was very distanced; she was still an important part of his grieving process and his whole life honestly.
oh boy here we go. isao when I catch you istg..... sorry that's an exaggeration, likely this was from a societal disgust, yk just homophobia from the world, so I cant really blame this kid too much.... but we still have beef. god, this was one of those actually crushing crushes, hm. it's so fucked up; someone who was starting to get kamimura a bit out of the dark space that was his life, giving him something to enjoy and be happy about! and all of that was just thrown away because kamimura was vulnerable and shared his feelings. not having your feelings returned can already be devastating, but this? the spread of rumors, the bullying, the losing his one friend? it's like the world wants to torture him omfg. here the trust issues become worse; those who loved him leave, those who he loved leave. everyone just leaves, so what's the point?
this explains his relationship with hasegawa, and the issue after trial 1. it had to have felt way too familiar; telling someone he was fond of vulnerable information, only for it to be told to a bunch of people he never wanted in his fucking business. however, I think the reason why they made up rather quickly in clean up crew (which btw I watched w my friend earlier today bc I got them into tetro........ god I love that episode) is hasegawa's response. hasegawa, unlike isao, is remorseful, he CARES. hasegawa even shares something personal to him, about his own loss.
I think this also changes the scene of hasegawa coming out a bit. before, he was rejected by isao because he was a homophobic douchebag. but in the student spotlight, hasegawa casually says he's not into girls. while its funny thinking that kamimura was having some gay panic then lmao, I think actually it was probably processing that in a confused comfort, not exactly because his feelings could be reciprocated, but for this; hasegawa was so comfortable with coming out as gay, so comfortable with the concept, unlike isao. if kamimura confessed his feelings to hasegawa, and were (somehow) not reciprocated, he likely still wouldn't have ran away. of course, with kamimura's trust issues, he probably wasn't confident in that assumption, but hasegawa is not the kind of person to drop someone because they confessed to them. he would've kept the person that had become so important to him. and because of that maybe, just maybe, kamimura would've said what he really wanted to say if the interview had happened before woodshop.
once he's on his own and moves out, he no longer has someone reminding him to do things, so with no motivation to simply live, he ends up staying locked in his house like we've seen before. what's the point in anything? when that kind of spiral hits you, and you don't have other people present in your life to keep doing, how would you ever stay motivated?? I know it was a really informal post, so I might be going insane trying to add this to the analysis, but the repetition of 'but life goes on' I think really solidifies the importance of a support system. when things are difficult, the world never just stops, it keeps going despite your struggle. but having people who care about you around you can help make each day easier, they can help 'slow down time' if you will. kamimura has gone through an amount of stress no one should have to face, but people around him could have made it easier on him by being there. that's the tragedy of tetro.
it's especially tragic that at the very end, right before the kg, he was taking his own life.
(plot wise, I need to know what y'all theorists think of this bc I have ideas but i need to finish the staffside logs before I can even actually consider my thoughts lmfao.)
sorry to be captain obvious on a majority of this post lol but gosh wow. I really loved that we got this, it was so much information I am kinda stoked despite basically all of it being depressing as hell. tetro has really become an inspiration for me and writing, I am constantly so impressed by von's writing and it's given me perspective on how to approach writing as a whole. i feel as though this gave me so much perspective on kamimura himself as a character. some of this just confirmed my ideas already, but it strikes me as something so human just learning all of this. when I, or anyone really, first meet people, I only know surface level things, yk cause I don't know them. but then I start talking to them, and I learn about different things that have happened to them, how they feel about certain issues or what they're doing on a day to day basis. you can never know everything of course, but when you discover new parts of someone, it makes them more complex and they don't fit the idea you had of them before because people are complex!! and that's the beauty of writing, capturing humanity! the impact of each character, esp kamimura, has been so beautifully done, I'm just constantly moved as the story progresses.
thank y'all sm for reading my excuse to talk about kamimura, this was A LOT of blabbing I'm so so sorry but I hope you enjoyed haha! :)

Today, my grandfather, whom we call Poppy, asked the fated question, "Who's Percy Jackson" which ended in an hour long lore drop by yours truly until I was cut off so here's some notible quotes from today:
Me: So, how did that happen? Luke!
Poppy: *shocked* Luke? Who's Luke?
Uncle: Skywalker.
Me: No, Castellan. I told you about him earlier, remember? He was with Thalia and Annabeth and Grover when Thalia became a tree?
Poppy: I don't even remember all your names, I don't remember a Luke!
Aunt: Just listen to Maddy! Boom, dead!
Me: It wasn't "boom, dead" it was "boom, tree!"
Me: And then we reach the quest
Cousin#2: YOU DIDN'T EVEN REACH THE QUEST YET?
Me: And then in 2010 it was made into a movie
Cousin#1 & I, simaultaniously: It sucked.
Older Brother: I think you explaining the story is making me not like it.
Dad: Maddy's a great story teller
Older Bro: YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT PART TILL THE FIFTH BOOK!
Grandma: How many books are there.
Me: *tries to count then gives up* probably like 40
Grandma: 40! You're explaining 40 books?
Me: No, I haven't even finished the first one.
Me: But Thalia comes back!
Grandma: That's good.
Poppy: Is she a bush now?
Poppy: She's probably came back as a pine cone, actually.
Me: OMG There's a part in the TV show—not the books or the musical—where Annabeth says that Thalia met a heroes fate and Percy, being Percy, says she met a pinecone fate.
Me: And CHB is in Long Island.
Older Brother: Of course it's Long Island.
Me: And the Underworld is—
Grandma: Long Island?
Me: No, Los Angelos. In a record company, of course. Percy and Annabeth are 12 and Grover's like 28, but that's 14, so that's a problem.
Me: And Zeus is like "You stole my bolt" and Percy's like "I'm 12."
Older Bro: He did not say that.
Cousin #1: He basically did.
Older Brother: I could reread the entire series faster than Maddy could explain it.
Me: The lightning bolt was stolen!
Poppy: I thought Thor had lightning?
Me: No, that's Norse. WAIT! Remember Annabeth?
Grandma: Yes?
Me: HER COUSIN IS NORSE, SON OF FREY, AND HE MET THOR. His hammer can change Netflix, and he farts a lot.
Older Bro: That's Marvel.
Me: It's in Magnus Chase. I've never seen a Marvel movie, how would I know if it's there?
Me: *as I'm being cut off with the food arriving* AND DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE NORSE AND THE EGYPTIANS.
#percy jackson and the olympians#the lightning thief#the lightning theif musical#heroes of olympus#trials of apollo#magnus chase and the gods of asgard#kane chronicles#ranting to family#it was great#for me at least#I'm not sure the rest of my family had as great of a time as I did#My three other siblings hid in the other room watching Bluey while this happened

I was reading the wiki page on Occlumency for a fic and now I'm even more confused why JKR thinks Draco can't be redeemed (or whatever she's said on it, I don't care too much for her words).
She literally acknowledges in a quote that Draco is so good at Occlumency because he can compartmentalise his feelings well, and gave as an example that he's such a 'good' bully (good is kind of contested because I really don't think he was that good lol) because he can suppress the pity he feels. Like, she basically says that he does feel bad for (some) of the things he did (or at least has the capacity to), and he just forces it down. I'd imagine an actually 'good' bully wouldn't even feel pity to begin with.
She also says he shut down his compassion to be a good DE, which really just sounds like he tried to shut it down and failed in the end, because he's awful at being actually cruel and doing things the other DEs do. And overall, most people don't hold out for very long when they're actively suppressing or shutting down emotions, and I honestly think it's very possible that Draco struggled more and more with that near the end of the War until it all fell apart at some point.
Of course, this is all just post-books quotes, and fuck JKR, but it's so interesting that she acknowledges that he can (and maybe actively does) feel pity and compassion, which would be such a good set up for a redemption arc imo!
I'm mostly asking this here because your analyses are amazing and you're by far my favourite drarry blog (even though this is only Draco, oops), but I'm curious what you think of this since I don't think you've said anything on this yet (correct me if I'm wrong lol, I could be).
yeah exactly. (for those who don't know - on wizarding world there's this whole long incredibly pretentious and condescending essay that she wrote about how draco didn't get a redemption arc and fans better not like him or else which is hugely contradictory and literally describes how he got a redemption arc - and drops some cool additional lore that makes him even more interesting and complicated - all while trying to get fans not to care. it's wild.) a while ago i started a meta breaking it down but I never got around to finishing it. I really should dig it up.
and yeah I think that whole essay provides great additional backstory that adds depth and interest to draco's character (love the bit about him keeping dark arts relics in a glass cabinet as a reminder - to look at and never use) and is literally the opposite of what jkr wants it to be. she literally describes how he had doubts and had to suppress parts of himself to go along with something he knew was wrong (something that bellatrix or even lucius very obviously didn't have to do) and how ultimately his morals won out, he spent the rest of his life regretting his actions, and fought with his family in order to raise his son with different values. I.e. he CHANGED HIS MIND AND HIS ACTIONS...aka a redemption arc.
the essay is great till jkr concludes with 'so this is why draco is irredeemably evil and fans shouldn't like him'. um ??? the??? why didn't u write him that way???? her lack of self awareness is bizarre.
#and thank you SOOOO much for your kind words about my blog. that is such high praise and it always delights me so much to hear things like#that. it truly brings such a smile to my face.#asks#Draco Malfoy#Harry Potter

There's definitely a lot of self loathing in A!A, I think also a lot of disappointment. Because I don't see ascending as really doing much to A. Fix his trauma, or B. Net him the safety he really wants.
I think to a large degree his talk is bluffing, and coping, because he kind of has to believe. He's locked in now, he's killed seven thousand people, and all he got was a lousy d10 bite attack. So he's sort of got to lean into the idea that he will learn all his cool vampire abilities, eventually. Right?
But in the interim, once the initial high wears off, I feel like he's not going to feel that different, and that's probably going to be a huge disappointment.
That's also why I lean towards thinking he made Tav a spawn. I don't know what to make of the single drop of blood, because BG3 is so hazy with the lore.
But I think at that point he's feeling backed into a corner, less invincible than he expected to be, and most of the party seems to think ascending turned him into a huge asshole, Jaehira and Karlach if you have them are leveling thinly veiled threats. And weirdly no one is directing any of this at Tav, who helped him do it!
So I think he just really wants one person he can trust, who is unequivocally on his side, who can't betray him. And, I think he still expects Tav too eventually. Cause if it's been an evil campaign, well, they're evil, how long till he out lives his usefulness. And if it's a good game, how long till tav realizes he's an awful person and comes to their senses and ditches, or puts a stake through his ribs.
Making them a vampire spawn means that can't happen. I don't think he wants to compell them. But he wants the assurance he could, if it came to it.
I think in the post break up talk when he gives his lines about how he would have used tav's love. He is being honest, he's had some time to think and realized that this could have gone so bad. Bullets were dodged.
Cause I don't think Astarion is going into any of his interactions with his romanced partner with the intention of harming them. I don't think that feels in character for the relationship developed in the first two acts.
But he is a walking bag of red flags. So it could go to pot so fast. And I think he is smart enough to know that and be glad it didn't.
See this is the type of stuff I was looking for. In depth looks at what the possible motivation for his actions could be. And you're right, the potential for shit to hit the fan is SO huge. But it could go so many different ways and in that sense I feel like there are multiple versions of A!A based on the players actions. And yeah I think once the power high wears off, he's just Astarion with a castle and ability to turn into a bat. Not much has really changed and that could either be comforting or devestating. Depending on how much weight you put into the scarifice of over 7,000 spawn. I just wish I knew what the whole one drop of blood thing was about it's driving me NUTS.

Review: The Bright Sword (Lev Grossman)
Rating: ★★★★/5
“Stories never really ended, they just rolled one into the next. The past was never wholly lost, and the future was never quite found. We wander forever in a pathless forest, dropping with weariness, as home draws us back, and the grail draws us on, and we never arrive, and the quest never ends. Till the Last Day, and maybe not even then. Who knows what stories they tell in Heaven.”
This was a heck of a journey, with so many little side quests and things going on and history to absorb.
Collum has always dreamed of being a Knight of the Round Table. His adolescence has been rough, and at the first chance he gets, he sets out from the Out Isles for Camelot, sure that his destiny awaits there. And sure enough, it does, but the road will be anything but easy, and Camelot will be nothing like he expects, for King Arthur is dead, and the future of Britain is uneasy.
I have never felt a really intense pull towards King Arthur and the stories of Camelot, but like anyone, they've been a part of the media I've consumed for my entire life. I always enjoy the stories, but I don't have a super deep understanding of the lore. This book, and the historical note at the end, made me curious about it, more so than any other book or show or movie ever has. It made me want to know what the *real* story was, even knowing that there really isn't one, that Arthur is a legend that has morphed and changed over time so much that we can never really know what reality was.
The format of this one is really fun and, despite its high page count, made it feel like a quicker read. I absolutely LOVED learning about the knights and their stories, how they came to be who they are, and why they make the decisions they do in Collum's time. Nimue was a highlight for me, as was Palomides, and though I really enjoyed Collum's story too, it was those interspersed short stories that kept me reading.
I also felt like I could sense the Magicians in certain ways that this was written. Collum has a lot of little side things happen, and especially when he spends a year down the well, all I could think of was Quentin and Eliot. I loved that part of things, because it just shows that Lev can write pretty much anything and infuse it with that same heart and quirkiness and depth of character.
The meandering nature of the story + the high page count are the only thing that keep me from giving it a full 5 stars. I really enjoyed it, don't get me wrong, but it just didn't reach that level of fave for me. I think anyone who's a King Arthur buff should pick this up, and it will undoubtedly stick with me; I won't be able to read anything else about Camelot or Arthur without thinking of this tome.

Tears of the Kingdom, Master Works, and the Zelda Timeline
Okay! So the Tears of the Kingdom Master Works has dropped and some translations have popped up online, including the Hyrule Chronology section of the book.
Why am I making this post? Simply put, I just want to get my thoughts on how the lore presented here and other materials such as interviews have changed my perspective on how Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom fit into the greater Zelda timeline.
Before TotK's release, I was in the camp that Breath of the Wild was in one of two places; At the end of the Child Timeline long after Four Swords Adventures in the same Hyrule. Or in a convergent timeline. I leaned more towards the Child Timeline placement however, as there being no mention of an inciting event that would merge all three timelines didn't sit right with me. Furthermore, I didn't think that the old world—the Hyrule that was established after the Interloper War—would survive such an event, and everything we had up till that point suggested that this was the same Hyrule as the past games.
With Tears of the Kingdom's release, I no longer believe that to be the case.
This stance has only been backed up as more and more lore details have been released. Everything points to the Hyrule we see in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom to be a separate kingdom than the one present in the old games. So what makes me think this?
Well to start, let's cover Hyrule's history as seen in the old games and compare it to the history that Tears of the Kingdom presents.
The Repopulation of the Surface and the Birth of Hyrule:
After the events of Skyward Sword, humans returned to the surface after millennia and began settling alongside the Goron, Parella, Kikwi, and Mogmas. These different groups end up developing and creating their own civilizations with the Triforce in the hands of the Hylians. Now, despite the defeat of Demise and the Era of the Sky having mostly faded into myth and legend, word of a powerful artifact still floated around the surface. These rumors fed into the greed present in some people, wishing for power to do with what they wish. Of course, the artifact in question was the Triforce. A group of sorcerers known as the Dark Interlopers began to organize and raged war against the Hylians in order to obtain the Triforce.
This is what is known as the Interloper War, and which led to the birth of the Kingdom of Hyrule.
To protect the Triforce, the Three Golden Goddesses sent in the Spirits of Light—Faron, Eldin, Lanayru, and Ordona—to use the Mirror of Twilight to banish the Interlopers into the Twilight Realm. After the Banishment of the Twili, the Hylian ancient Sage of Light Rauru hides the Triforce within the Temple of Light within the Sacred Realm, which could only be accessed from the Sealed Grounds within the Light World (Hyrule). Rauru then constructs the Temple of Time over the ruins of the Sealed Grounds and uses the Master Sword, the Pedestal of Time, and the Door of Time as a gateway and the Three Spiritual Stones serving as keys to opening that gateway.
To protect the Sacred Realm, the Master Sword, and the Temple of Time, the descendants of Skyward Sword Zelda—the Goddess Hylia reborn—then establish the Kingdom of Hyrule and entrust the Three Spiritual Stones to the Zora, Gorons, and Kokiri as a showing of trust between the groups.
This is the birth of Hyrule as we see it in every Zelda game prior to BotW/TotK. With the Kingdom being established long after the events of Skyward Sword, and before the events of The Minish Cap. So how does this compare to what Tears of the Kingdom and it's book Master Works presents?
The Zonai, The Imprisoning War, and the birth of Hyrule:
To start, we actually have to go back to the Creation of the World. The Creation Myth of the World presented here is pretty much identical to the one seen in Ocarina of Time and other Zelda games with one key addition: The Golden Goddesses also created the Secret Stones and put them in the care of the Goddess Hylia.
While the Triforce isn't mentioned here, I have no doubt that it exists as well in the same state as it did in the past games: Triforce imagery is seen all throughout Hyrule in both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. So while it isn't directly mentioned, I don't doubt that it exists as well.
Long after the Secret Stones and the Triforce were created and the Golden Goddesses left the world to the Heavens, Hylia entrusted the Secret Stones to the Zonai people to protect and use them wisely. The Zonai then populate the surface and the depths, beginning their own civilization and mining operations for Zonaite to power their machinery. Eventually the Zonai abandon the surface and ascend to the sky, however their mining operations in the depths continue. During this period many different tribes spring up and form communities on the surface; The Rito, Gorons, Zora, Gerudo, and Hylians.
Facing the danger of a collapse, the Zonai abandon the depths and begin mingling with the surface people. They help out where they can using their knowledge and powers, however their population rapidly declines. Eventually, Rauru of the Zonai people and a Hylian Priestess Sonia meet and fall in love. The pair get married and begin the Pilgrimage of Light, purging the surface demons and placing Shrines of Light over the demon's point of destruction to prevent its reappearance.
The two, having gained a lot of respect and trust for their efforts to protect the surface-dwellers from dark forces, ascend as King and Queen of the Hylian people in a new Kingdom known as Hyrule.
However, not everyone on the surface is happy about the cleansing of the demons: Ganondorf, King of the Gerudo, sees the change as the weakening of the surface-dwellers. He believed that only the strong had the right to exist, and that by exterminating the demons and dark spirits that terrorized the people of the surface that it would weaken the world and those within it. Thus he began a plot against Hyrule and the Zonai, which we see in Tears of the Kingdom as The Imprisoning War: Sonia is killed by Ganondorf—who takes her Secret Stone and becomes Demon King Ganondorf. The Gerudo split into two groups, those who are against Ganondorf and those who are with him. The Rito, Zora, Goron, and anti-Ganon Gerudo meet up with Rauru and the Hylians to stop the world from falling back into the war-filled, chaotic land it was before the Pilgrimage of Light. One member of each tribe becomes a Sage entrusted with a Secret Stone to help fight against Ganondorf. Rauru sacrifices his life to seal Ganondorf in the Temple of Light deep in the depths underneath the surface, and Zelda transforms into the Light Dragon to repair the decayed Master Sword that was sent back in time.
How does this connect?
So we have two very different origin stories for Hyrule that have some strong parallels: A Sage of Light named Rauru is alive to see the birth of the Kingdom and a war against dark forces; the war centers around mystical, powerful artifacts created by the Golden Goddesses; The Temple of Light plays a major role in the war; and stone-like artifacts are entrusted to different tribes across the land as a sign of trust and community.
What do I make of this? If one thing is clear, it is that these two origin stories parallel each other. One of the meta themes of the Zelda series at large is the idea of the cyclical nature of the world: The Curse of Demise, the rebirth of the Spirit of the Hero, the way Hyrule is locked in a cycle of prosperity and decline, etc.
It is my belief that the Hyrule we see in Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild are yet another example of this. It is a kingdom that mirrors the Hyrule from past games with a similar, yet notably different, history.
Under no circumstances can one claim that these are the same event. Even if you ignore all the differences between the origins themselves, the aftermath still shows that these two stories surround two different Hyrules: In TotK's Hyrule, after the Imprisoning War the Gerudo outright banned any male Gerudo from being king and established the Chieftain position to take over rule. This cannot happen if these two Hyrules are the same as in both Ocarina of Time and Four Swords Adventures, Ganondorf is the King of the Gerudo before becoming Ganon. Hyrule Castle was also built over the Temple of Light to hide away Ganondorf's sealed body and Rauru which survives over 10,000 years till the events of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Whereas in the other Hyrule, there are several different Castles that are destroyed and built elsewhere. These cannot be the same origin story and these kingdoms cannot be the same Hyrule. But when what about the clear references to games such as Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, A Link to the Past, and others? How can they be referenced as real events while also being in a different Hyrule?
Well that is when we turn to an interview with series director Eiji Aonuma and the director of Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom Hidemaro Fujibayashi. When asked about how this version of the Hyrule origin story connects to the version seen in the past games, Fujibayashi states that the lore and story of the series is meant to fit together and not to collapse on itself. He says that perhaps there was a Hyrule before the kingdom we see in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, that maybe it was destroyed and forgotten to time.
So is that it? Case closed? Maybe! But I'm hesitant to say so, what could've caused such an event? Why was it forgotten to time yet events that came before it wasn't? Well, it is this and Master Works that push me to two different ideas for how BotW/TotK fit into the overall Zelda timeline: A timeline convergence, and a new timeline split. Each with their own pros and cons and evidence.
The Timeline Convergence Theory
I think the Timeline convergence theory is the easiest one to articulate so lets start there.
It really is just as it sounds; Sometime long after Adventure of Link, Four Swords Adventures, and Spirit Tracks the three timelines converge into one, collapsing the civilizations of the Old Worlds and bringing things to a similar state seen back during the Era of the Sky. From there, everything we get in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom occurs. Legends and myths of the world long past still persists, but no one is able to prove that these events actually occurred. I have made a graphic to show what the timeline would look like in this scenario.
(You may have noticed that I put Echoes of Wisdom—a game that has not released—on the timeline after Four Swords Adventures. I'll make a comment thread on this post explaining why I think that the game might take place there. That too is just a theory.)
What does this theory have going for it? Well it seemingly explains any contradictory evidence: A Link to the Past, Twilight Princess, and Wind Waker are all heavily referenced despite all three of those games taking place in separate timelines? Not a problem if all of those merged back into one! An event such as that wouldn't be smooth sailing for the people alive during it either, Hyrule is in such a different state in all three branches of the timeline that if they were to converge again it would be akin to a universal reset. It also follows the series trend of death and rebirth and story parallels: The convergence—which I have called "The Great Consolidation"—would be a parallel to the three Golden Goddesses creating the world. The event would have killed off the Old Worlds, yes, but it allows for something new to spring up in its place—which the series again is no stranger to with the Adult Timeline.
Things like the Rito and Zora coexisting, the Tunics of past heroes found in the depths, locations referencing characters across the series; It can all be explained if it all simply happened.
But my biggest issue with that theory was this; Why would the timelines converge? What event could cause this and why is there not even a hint of such a thing occurring? It just doesn't make sense to me that three timelines with hundreds of years worth of history would all be remembered and passed down through legend, yet the incident that brought them together with such force and chaos would be completely forgotten.
That just doesn't sit right with me, and I have no answers to any of those questions even though it is what I had settled on for the past year or so.
Which leads me to the next theory.
The Era of the Goddess Hylia Timeline Split Theory
This theory proposes that the events of Skyward Sword—much like that of Ocarina of Time—create a timeline split. This one however as a result of Link's use of the Triforce at the end of the game.
Just like with the timeline convergence theory, I made a little graphic of what the Zelda timeline would look like if this theory would end up being true.
Like I said earlier, this theory centers around the idea that a timeline split occurs during the events of Skyward Sword when Link uses the Triforce to kill Demise in the present day. Now to be honest, before recently I did not subscribe to the idea. I just didn't think there was much merit to it. But recently I had thought about it a bit more, and I'm much more open to the idea now.
It isn't killing Demise in the present with the Triforce that is the cause of the split, but rather the aftermath. To recap the end of Skyward Sword for anyone who hasn't played it or may have forgotten; After using the Triforce to eradicate Demise, Zelda awakens from her slumber and reunites with Link, Groose, and Impa. Ghirahim however is pissed that his Master is dead and thus swiftly incapacitates the four before taking Zelda through the Gate of Time and thousands of years into the past during the Era of the Goddess Hylia, shortly after Demise was imprisoned in the Sealed Grounds.
It is here that Ghirahim uses Zelda's soul to bring back Demise, freeing him from his prison and revitalizing him. Groose and Link follow Ghirahim and Link fights Demise. Using the Master Sword, Link kills Demise in the past—freeing Zelda's soul—before returning with Zelda and Groose to the present day.
The theory is pretty self-explanatory now isn't it? It is a similar premise to the Child/Adult Era split in Ocarina of Time; Something happens in the future, and characters do something in the past that would stop that future from occurring—splitting the timeline as a result. In this case, rather than closing the Door of Time and then warning the Royal Family of Ganondorf's plans, it is the killing of the Demon King Demise in the past that splits the timeline. He can't die in the present if he's already dead after all.
This would then lead to a completely different history, one that mirrors the one that we have come to know in love over the past 38 years of this series. Hyrule is established—this time by the Zonai—Ganondorf threatens the Kingdom, and the Princess and Hero group up to stop him time and time again. It allows for both the TotK Hyrule origin story to occur as well as the original Hyrule origin story without having the big massive question of how the timelines could converge and not be remembered.
But what about the Twilight Princess references? Or the Wind Waker references? Or the Tunics we can find? What about the "Whether Skyward Bound, Adrift in Time, or Steeped in the Glowing Embers of Twilight" line from Breath of the Wild? This theory doesn't explain why the past games are referenced time and time again, it only explains the two different Hyrules...right? Well that's where we return to the idea that this series likes to tell stories that parallel each other. With TotK's Master Works again confirming that there were many appearances of Calamity Ganon before the creation of the Divine Beasts, I believe that the past games did also happen in this timeline—or at least, a version of them.
Let's go back to the beginning when I was comparing how similar the two versions of Hyrule's origin story are and how they're distinctly different enough to clearly be two different events despite their broad similarities. Well, the story of The Imprisoning War doesn't just reflect the Interloper War; It also reflects the story of Ocarina of Time.
After a failed attack on Hyrule, King of the Gerudo—Ganondorf—swears fealty to the Royal Family of Hyrule. This is a ruse, however. One that conceals his true plan to betray the Royal Family and steal a mystic artifact that the Royal Family safeguards to gain godlike power and to take the land for himself, shaping it with his own views. Zelda sees through this ruse, and tries warning the King of Hyrule to Ganondorf's plan. The King of Hyrule doesn't take action however, leading to Ganondorf taking the artifact and gaining immense power. Ganondorf with his newfound power wreaks havoc across the land, forcing other groups living in Hyrule—including the Gerudo—to band together and form the Seven Sages and defeat Ganondorf. There is also the Master Sword traveling through time.
Which story did I just explain? The answer is both Tears of the Kingdom's Imprisoning War and Ocarina of Time. Of course, there are some differences; The Sages in OoT are Light, Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, Spirit, and Zelda (implied to be time). In TotK the Sages are Light, Time, Wind, Fire, Water, Lightning, and Spirit. Notably there is no Hero present during the Imprisoning War, which is likely a reason why the Sages were getting their asses handed to them until Rauru sacrificed himself. Not much time travel happens beyond Zelda getting sent to this era from the future before the War broke out and the decayed Master Sword being sent to Zelda from the future shortly after the War. And King Rauru is also aware that Ganondorf is not to be trusted, while the King of Hyrule in OoT outright rejects the idea.
But the broad strokes still remain, and it cannot be denied that Ocarina of Time was a major influence on the story of the Imprisoning War.
So if these major events can be paralleled, then why not others? Again, we know that there were many appearances of Calamity Ganon; Perhaps one of those appearances broke the barrier between the Light world and the Twilight Realm? Maybe another caused the Hero to have to traverse the seas beyond Hyrule to try to stop it? Maybe another caused the Royal Family and the Hero to journey to the Sacred Realm? Under this theory there is still a Hero of Twilight, a Hero of Winds, a Hero of Legend, etc. But they aren't the ones we're familiar with. All the references to past characters and events are still canon, though the stories surrounding them might be a little different.
It could explain why the Rito and Zora can coexist; In this timeline, they simply evolved separately rather than the Rito evolving from the Zora. Perhaps they shared a common ancestor in the Parella in this timeline rather than just the Zora evolving from them.
Now there are a few issues with this theory as well.
For starters, I admit the idea of the references to the past games not actually being the past games but rather some similar version of the past games kind of feels like a cop-out and likely wasn't the original idea when making Breath of the Wild (whether that changed later on is to be debated).
Furthermore, the Gate of Time was opened when Link killed Demise in the past, and we know that the Door of Time was constructed over the Sealed Grounds where the Gate of Time used to be. So it could be argued that it follows similar rules to the Door of Time in which if the Door/Gate is opened, then one can freely do what they need in the past and the future that has already been created would then reflect that. But I don't think that alone disproves this theory. If that is the case, then Demise being killed in the past should then completely change everything that happens after. Skyward Sword as it is occurs because Demise isn't dead and is Imprisoned in the Sealed Grounds.
Killing Demise in the past means that Link then wouldn't need to go on the journey to find Zelda in the present because she never would've been captured to begin with.
It's a paradox.
And while the series isn't new to tackling paradoxes (The Song of Storms and the events of BotW/TotK are both examples of Bootstrap paradoxes; With Adult Link learning the Song of Storms from Guru-Guru and then going back in time to teach Guru-Guru the same song; and Zelda in TotK going back in time to help imprison Ganondorf which led to the creation of Calamity Ganon and the events of BotW which then led to Zelda finding Ganondorf and getting sent back in time), I don't think that this aligns with those paradoxes. The two deaths of Demise is much more similar to Link preventing Ganondorf's rise to power at the end of OoT, thus preventing much of OoT from happening. And yes, that happened after Link closed the Door of Time so it can be argued that it wouldn't have caused a timeline split if he did it beforehand. I just think that it makes a bit more sense that a reality following Demise's death in the past would be created separate from the reality we follow throughout most of Skyward Sword.
However there is another issue with this idea: At the end of Skyward Sword, Link puts the Master Sword in her pedestal in the past before returning to the present, where the Master Sword still stands in the very same pedestal—suggesting that it is the same continuity as the one in which Demise was killed in the past.
This one I admittedly have no answer for.
All I can say is that we again see a similar thing in Ocarina of Time. Link takes the Master Sword back to the past and puts her in the Pedestal of Time and then the timeline splits, yet the Master Sword still exists in the Adult era. Maybe the sword's status as The Sword of Time means that she isn't bound by time and is a constant in every timeline? I'm not sure.
The TotK Master Works book is also ambiguous as to how long after the Creation of the Secret Stones by the Golden Goddesses it took for the Zonai to then populate the surface and the depths. It could be a few hundred years, or a few hundred-thousand years. There just isn't enough to say.
Conclusion:
As of right now, these two theories are what I operate around when it comes to the placement of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom in the Zelda timeline. I've been a massive fan of this series for most of my life, and it really sparked my love for storytelling and lore. So while the contradictions and confusion that Tears of the Kingdom's lore and story has caused in the Zelda community has admittedly been terrifying, I do think that it still has its place and that the Zelda universe is still in one cohesive piece.
I'll definitely be making adjustments to this when Echoes of Wisdom releases and I can really dive deep into that game! There are already parts in the trailers that has me questioning if this game has any lore connections to Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild and I'm excited to learn more about the Zelda universe when that game releases. Maybe it'll completely change my stance once again.

have i ever told you all how wild i think it is that Kai has a fandom?
like, the fact that people are consuming my writing and enjoying it and INVESTING themselves in the story?
thats so fucking amazing to me
kai as a concept started when i was around 9, when i listened to my first batim fansong, “gospel of dismay” by DAGames. i attached to the bendy character so much, i created this character that acted as his daughter like the cringe little freak i was.
around the same time, i had listened to “why did i say okie-doki?” by the stupendium, and attached to the monika character in the same way.
as i grew, kai grew with me. her story slowly became an amalgamation of fandoms i enjoyed, all set in the town of unington (which i stole from “peggy suave”, a music series uploaded to youtube by sim gretina). there wasnt really an overarching plot, some angst scattered here and there, but in my head, it was a semi-episodic series that revolved around Kai and her friends, and her adventures as ‘the savior of the multiverse’.
it wasn’t till i started writing ‘showstopper’, a bnha x oc fic, and uploading it to wattpad in 2021 before i started seeing intrigue for kai and her story.
before that, kai only existed as comics in my sketchbook that i showed to friends, or nobody at all. i was into mha, and i didn’t like the insert character’s personality in most x readers, so i decided to write my own. with kai.
people loved kai. i had consistent readers, commenters, and as of now, it sits at 7.5K reads. people felt for her, kinned her, and slandered any characters who didn’t like her.
eventually, my interests faded. and showstopper remains unfinished.
other than showstopper, Kai still didn’t really have a bunch of deep lore. she still was her little fandom amalgam, with her bits of angst.
but that all changed when Hatchetfield came into the mix.
in mid 2023, early 2024, @local-soda-can (and @chillibeanos somewhat) introduced me to the starkid original musical, ‘the guy who didn’t like musicals’. they loved it, and so did chilli, as they had been doing some oc insert stuff with it (btw, go check them out, their character Bean Sprout is so awesome!,).
I, however, wasnt too keen on watching.
I’m a very hard person to get to watch anything with an hour+ runtime. longer time commitments spook me, and with TGWDLM being over an hour, i wasn’t planning on watching.
until we had a sleepover, and i did.
and i fell in LOVE.
immediately, i had me and fizz start rping through The ‘Kai’ Who Didn’t Like Musicals, as i dubbed it.
the rp finished on September 14, 2023 and that was that.
that was all TKWDLM was supposed to be.
that was all Kai In Hatchetfield was supposed to be.
a series of RPs with a friend.
that was, until, one fateful wednesday, September 20th, 2023, i was watching TGWDLM after school.
earlier, i had the RTC script printed out to read, and i had thought: ‘man. i wish i had the script for this show.’
and then i thought, ‘wait, i have a laptop! what if i just typed out/downloaded the script?’
and as i sat there, on my laptop, i had another thought.
‘Wait, i have the rp, that’s practically all in script format, it has almost all the parts, what if i just turned it into an actual script?’
and thus began a two month long journey of transcribing the musical/rp into a script.
when i uploaded TKWDLM to tumblr on November 27 of that year, i honestly wasn’t expecting people to actually read it.
of course, i had hoped people would!
but honestly, she was 130 pages, she was kinda cringe, and she was honestly just meant for me.
I did NOT expect fans.
I did not expect people like @androgynous-sack-of-flesh-3 (hi there!) to go through my blog, scrounging for every last drop of Kai I made
I did not expect people to invest themselves into Kai’s story, and cry at her death during the ending.
Most of all, I did not expect people wanting more.
The Kai in Hatchetfield series was supposed to end at TKWDLM. I wasn’t planning on transcribing the nmt rps I did with my friends. I wasn’t planning on doing more scripts.
Until one anon in my inbox made the brilliant pun:
‘Nightmare Kai-me.’
With that post, I uploaded a poll asking if people wanted to see an actual NMK series.
And to my surprise, people did.
And thus, I started writing.
And that was a catalyst.
From there, I have gained so many followers, so many fans, all wanting more of Kai.
I have people like @raspberrysmoon (hi pooks :3) theorizing about the overarching lore of nmk, and even writing their own fanfic series revolving Kai (shoutout to sotbaw!).
I have people invested.
I have people who want more.
And that is so shocking to me.
I never expected my silly little story to reach so many people.
I never expected people to be touched by it.
I never expected to make people feel.
And, honestly?
I can’t help but say thank you.
You all are the reason I keep writing.
You all are the reason I keep publishing Kai’s story.
Without you, there would be no nmk. There would be nothing more than a script sitting in my google docs, one that I’d eventually forget about.
All I can say is thank you.
Thank you for giving me a space to share my writing.
Thank you for giving Kai a chance.
Thank you for giving me a chance
Thank you for making a silly little 9 year old girl’s dreams come true.
Thank you all so much.
I can’t wait to see where Kai goes next :]

For the weekly theme - hurt/comfort!!!
This is inspired by @definitelynotshouting 's HungerAU (which you can check out for additional context)! Fair warning, said AU is a Dead Dove; I didn't manage to finish reading the fic they are writing for this AU, but I still love the concept they created!
This ask is just... me borrowing part of the lore from the AU and changing it a bit to suit my less angsty idea, and to give Grian a hopeful ending in the story (not a happy one, per se, that might be stepping on Shout's toes too much, but there is hope for the better)
The main difference is that it's Grian's 1st time meeting the Hermits, but all Players still know how Watchers can prey on them
•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•
Ever since Grian remembered, he's been stuck in the endless planes of The Void. There used to be a time, way before he became a Watcher, when he was just a normal Player, able to build, to create, to feel the sun on his face. But those times are long gone and long forgotten, along with the memory of the humanity Grian lost when he was used as a base for creating this... monster he had became.
Lurking in The Void like a shark cruising the water, he remained hidden most of the time. He refused to live how his kin did - infiltrating servers, hovering above Players, amplifying their emotions till the humans were ripe from the picking, and then... killing them, hurting them, watching them slip into insanity, as their haywire emotions sustained yet another Watcher.
But it was difficult to resist the hunger gnawing on his insides. Grian wasn't as strong as he'd like to be, not strong enough to hide away and finally let himself die. He should have killed himself long ago, he mused. Nowadays it was just an endless cycle - hiding away, biding his time as he stared into nothingness, and then blacking out as the hunger overtook him. He never remembered much from those times, but after a while he would wake up, in a server he didn't recall breaking into, the bodies of Players disappearing into white puffs of smoke, presumably to respawn.
But he never waited to check if that was true. Disgusted with himself, Grian always ran. Feeling sick with what he had done, with how full he felt, he always rushed through the veil between the server and The Void like the coward he was. Emotions might not have been physical food he could expel from his body, but that didn't stop him from dropping to his knees and retching, bile rising into his throat, burning.
Fighting his will to live was a battle he kept on losing, not having the courage to finally take his life, ridding the world of himself and letting his code unravel, seeping back into The Void where he couldn't respawn. He wished he could just end this, finally being able to keep Players safe from himself. The scars on his body being a testament to how many times he tried, yet always flinched from the final blow.
Grian didn't quite care about his own fate. Yes, every breath he took was painful, every waking second of enduring the effects of denying his body sustenance was a nightmare, but... he deserved it. He was a monster, he should be miserable, he should suffer. Every tear he shed at his own fate was pointless, a cry for help he was not worthy of.
Grian shuddered, the filthy sweater hanging from his bony frame doing nothing to stop the chill from seeping into his heart. The Void was neither hot or cold, so the shudder was entirely caused by his weakened muscles spasming yet again. He was so hungry again, ages having passed since he last fed.
But there was one thing keeping him from blanking out again, one thing that occupied every single sluggish thought that passed through his head.
Time was an odd thing, here in the realm of endless nothingness, but for a while Grian's been feeling ripples on The Void's surface. They were all coming from a particularly bright spark of light on the dark tapestry surrounding him. Such a bright flash suggested a big server, one used frequently and by many Players. The ripples were... odd, to say the least. Grian's tired brain barely manged to recognise them. It was... a Voidwalker Player, gently poking and probing at the dark nothing, as if searching for something. What could they be looking for in here, Grian wondered idly. Voidwalkers were so rare, but it would make sense for one to be on such a big server.
Grian's mind flickered in and out of consciousness. He didn't have the strength to keep his eyes open, not anymore. But... this was the closest he ever felt to being at peace. As always, he hoped he wouldn't wake up this time, wouldn't end up in some unknown server, standing in a circle of items dropped by dying Players.
After a while, Grian felt a pull of something on his mind. He forced himself to became conscious again, to expand his Gaze past his little bubble of The Void.
Oh. The pull that Grian felt was the familiar code of the Voidwalker slowly easing into The Void. But... he was leading other Players after him as well? That was odd. Such trips to The Void were incredibly dangerous, it must have been important for them to partake in. Grian didn't have the energy to think too deeply about that, choosing instead to curl in on himself more tightly and to allow his mind to slip away again.
But his moment of peace didn't last too long. The ripples and distruptions pressed into the fabric of The Void got closer and more prominent with each passing moment. Was the party heading towards him?
Suddenly, everything seemed to click, the haze lifting from Grian's mind for a brief moment. The Players from that powerful server must have been notified about him, must have heard that a stray Watcher was lurking around and attacking nearby servers. They must be on a mission to remove this threat, to finally put an end to Grian's pathetic existence.
That thought was oddly comforting to him. There it is, his chance to finally stop the cycle of pain he caused and experienced. He flopped back onto the floor again, not having the strength to stay in a sitting position, now that he knew what was coming for him. His salvationn the end to everything...
But... No! No! He couldn't let them get close to him! He was so close to blacking out and hurting people again! He had to move away from them, he had to! Panic surged through Grian's veins, fuelling him in a last-ditch effort to avoid the hunting party approaching him.
Yet... when trying to lift his wings in attempt to get up, he felt that he was unable to move past the sitting position he was in previously. There was a cage around him, bearing the Voidwalker's characteristical code particles weaved through it.
In a way, the pressure of the cage was a comfort for Grian. Now he didn't have to try anymoren he was completely at the mercy of the hunting party, his fate was in their hands. It's not the end he imagined for himself, but it was oddly fitting, he suposed. Players taking revenge on him, punishing him for hurting them so. He only hoped his one life was enough to atone for what he's been doing all his life.
As his consciousness faded again, he heard voices getting closer to him. He was too weak to decipher what they were saying, but he couldn't bring himself to care. Now, he was able to rest for real, that was enough to put his frazzled mind at ease
...
When he woke up again, it took a lot of time for Grian to grasp his surroundings. He was not supposed to wake up, that's the first thing that puzzled him. The second thing, was his surroundings. The room he was in was washed in golden rays of sun, and the bed he was situated in was an explosion of soft, colorful blankets and pillows. After so long spent into The Void, those things were difficult to comprehend.
The thing that registered last, was that he was not hungry anymore. This revelation would push Grian into a flight response, but there was another sensation pushing at his mind, calming him down. There was a faint pressure at the back of his head, blocking the usual way in which he could reach out and feed. He tired to sense emotions around him, yet he couldn't do that.
As he was looking around the room, trying to make sense of all the new sensations, Grian noticed a piece of paper on a bedside table, resting innocently next to a pitcher of water. As he reached towards it, he had no idea that this little note was about to change his life forever.
...
Hello!
You must be terribly confused right now, which we all apologise for. The way that we brought you here was far from ideal, unfortunately. We definitely would prefer for you to be conscious when we found you, but we really couldn't wait any longer with transporting you here.
What you have to know for now, is that this server specialises in hosting dangerous and odd Hybrids, and making sure they can exist in peace, without hurting anyone. We have a lot of technology and magic at our disposal, and we already know how to help you.
You are safe here, we will not hurt you, and you are unable to hurt anyone as well.
We will explain everything to you shortly, we regularly check on you to see when you're awake, so someone will bring you into the main room soon.
Welcome to Hermitcraft!

🌠anon
Grian doesn't know how to react to the note. He reads it multiple times. There must be some mistake, right? Maybe they don't realise what he is. Or, maybe they were looking for a different person? Does Grian even count as a person, really?
True to the note, a player comes to find him barely a few minutes later. It's not the Voidwalker, even with this dampening he'd recognise that energy. No, instead it's a creeper hybrid, with a cybernetic arm Grian thinks he could stare at forever.
He nods at Grian, introducing himself as Doc. He doesn't even give Grian a chance to talk before he launches into a spiel. Half of the explanations go straight over Grian's head, somebody about suppression, saturation commands, feeding in healthier ways in the future. If there's anything Grian does take away, it's that it all sounds too good to be true.
He follows Doc to the next room silently, hugging his chest. There's a lot more people hanging around. A few turn to look at him - some more subtle than others. He can't tell what all of them are, but the Voidwalker stands out immediately. He rushes across the room to introduce himself, followed by scolding Doc for not asking Grian's name.
Grian can only follow Xisuma around in awe as he introduces various hermits. Grian finally manages to ask if this is actually right. Is this a mistake? Xisuma seems confused at the idea - they'd been planning this for ages! The idea of being wrong is literally impossible, they went over the operation far too many times for that.
Grian's... Not used to that. Being wanted.
This is going to be a lot for him to get used to.

【 book 6 thoughts ! 】
i said i'd share my thoughts, so here they are so far >:DD
part: one, two, three, four / ??
[ warning: spoilers for book 6 up until 6-16 under the cut !! ]
[ about : overblot lore drop ]
it took yuu long enough to actually TELL CROWLEY that grim was eating those rocks :')))) makes 110% sense that grim would lash out if he's been ingesting 5-overblot's-worth of purified blot
but also, i...can't believe it took twst this long to actually explain what was going on when we were fighting the overblots jsfksdfk like this whole time i've been assuming that people just. get knocked out or tired, but what they explained made so much more sense.
crowley has said that overblotting is rare. but then how come at nrc ?? there's been 5 consecutive overblots in less than a school year ?? (the twst timeline so far is from sept till around feb, bc book 5 was set during a "spring festival" iirc) the reason they don't know enough about overblots is bc they don't have enough subjects who have overblotted to research, so... i do wonder if there's something else at play here, maybe something has changed in NRC since yuu came ?
[ about : ortho lowkey scares me ]
ortho honey....wdym do we need bring back the target alive.....ofc we need grim alive sobs (the juxtaposition between his youthful n polite way of talking + the way he literally knows everything bc his brain is the internet kinda scares me a lot.)
[ about : vil's apology ]
i made a separate post to talk about this bc i started writing n it really got too long, so yes. but also. vil whipping out 50k madol like it's nothing. his acting career has really done him well.
and kalim donating it to ramshackle, my beloved. he's so nice. even while he's saying "it was sO RUN DOWN !!" as kalim was listing out the bad stuff abt ramshackle, i wonder how yuu was able to LIVE in this dump for 6 months.
[ about : ROBOTS ???? ]
HELLO ?? INTRUDERS ????? ROBOTS ?? WHAT ????? they're ignihyde blue....also the boat ? logo ? on their arms ??? what the heck does that mean ??? ok wait i can vaguely read out letters on their arm,,,styx ?? like the river styx in the greek underworld ? having a headache, are we gonna see the underworld somehow in this book ? wait, if the facility or whatever is called styx, are these robots the "charons" ? they're carrying oar-like staffs + they're trying to capture targets D and E and bring them in,,,,kinda like how charon brought souls in a boat to cross the styx river in myth. (also i was right, leona called them ferrymen >:DD)
(n they have grim. interesting that they'd ignore yuu tho, considering it was them who is the string that connects all the overblots.)
(also don't you just hate it when you win the battle, but then in canon the chars actually lost the battle. so you're just sitting there like -_-)
[ about: ob gang's capture ]
it was. very in character how each of them got captured.
vil and jamil were protecting other people (aka the freshmen, and in jamil's case, kalim) vil is really big on his responsibilities, so even though he authorized the use of magic, he still told the freshmen to stand back bc he knew they were unskilled in combat magic n that they'd get hurt bc they don't know hot to properly defend. meanwhile, jamil was probably covering any of kalim's blindspots + making sure he doesn't get hurt while looking for places where he could attack.
riddle went out with a bang, they hit him with a paralyzing beam, and he still had enough magic power to set everything on fire before they could hit him again. he also authorized everyone to fight, bc he probably believed that a group effort could take them down. as always, his sheer firepower is very impressive, the amount of magic he has and his attacking prowess is...wow.
leona....protected ruggie from harm first, saving him from glass and telling him to back off. and then he immediately scanned them to identify who they are. and of course, leona of all people, would know who they are. i think people forget, but a large reason why leona's so smart and why he skips class is bc he quite literally learned all that material when he was younger. the fact that he was the only one to recognize anti-magic plates meaning that resistance was futile and the logo from his time at the palace. (and that moment between ruggie and leona,,,,leona knows that he can trust ruggie w/ the wellbeing of savanaclaw until he returns T^T)
meanwhile azul was with idia, even though he didn't know what was happening, he got extra info from idia n ortho,,, the way azul was about to fight and idia went don't bother (bc he actually likes azul as a friend bro), and ortho went "the chances of you sustaining an injury drops by 87% if you don't struggle ^^" also. idia being concerned ? kind of ? by the ferrymen's forcefulness while coming in and taking the students is nice to see (and i KNEW it. i bet that idia's parents, or the shroud family in general, runs this Styx facility)
and they took crowley ?? crowley seems to know exactly what's going on, so i wonder why they didn't coordinate their...pick up with him beforehand (they legit destroyed so much public property + trespassed for no reason)
[ about : the plane ride ]
it's scary how they're all in a cramped dark space flying to who knows where. like how inhumane ?? they're about to take these people to do research w/ them, but clearly they don't care that they're humans, and they treat them more like convenient test subjects that have converged coincidentally in one school.
RIDDLE SLEEPING ON LEONA'S LAP IS SO FUNNY SJFDKSJFKS I CANTTTTT the way his leg was probably cramping,,,,three hours w/o moving and someone sleeping on you, he has so much patience onggg
[ about : styx ]
so...styx is an organization that does research on blot. it makes perfect sense why crowley would know they'd come knocking, since they have had 5 overblots that one school year. and the shroud family are "the watchman of the isle of woe". leona explains that they take overblotted mages there. what i don't understand is why countries can't interfere with them ?? or is it that they won't interfere with their research bc...styx' research benefits them too perhaps...?
from what leona said, they handled extreme overblot cases that regular magic marshals couldn't handle aka ones that can't un-blot anymore, so why are they coming after the ob gang ? not only were some of their overblots months ago, they've also all safely un-blotted, and transitioned back to normal life... ig my question is why them, and why now.
(it's a cool detail that the ob gang actually got help after their overblots. like it wasn't like everyone just picked up where they left off, vil mentioned medical mages and proper counseling, and that means that they were able to talk to someone about the things that troubled them.)
[ about : idia's family ]
not only do they run the jupiter conglomerate, aka the google of twisted wonderland, they might also run styx ? idia did ask the charon dudes if his mom and dad were away, ig this is what the shroud family ACTUALLY does behind the scenes of their big tech and energy business.
it also explains why idia deleted all those prospective work emails in the end of book 5,,,,bc he just knows that he won't be able to work or pursue any of his other dreams. his fate has been sealed since day 1 bc he was born a shroud, so he's probably going to end up having to take over Styx and its research in the future.
(and azul. being as on-brand as ever and saying he should've made idia in debt to him....sir, his family legit just kidnapped you, chill)
[ about : iDIA SHROUD ?? ]
HELLO. IDIA SHROUD ACTING DIRECTOR OF STYX ???? that means that his parents DO own styx, and that they're letting him run it for now while they're doing other things.... also i really hope that the ob gang don't get hurt hhhh
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/58561fa4518315219dda9e614914ca99/bda716aa50c8d3d2-d3/s500x750/f67ef0b8b50b84e201818a2806cdef0c3437270d.jpg)

Magia Chap.12- The Sound of Violins
Next chapter, and some more lore drops this time from a new person.
This chapter was beta read the same time as Chapter 11, however I decided to post it tonight then yesterday so you guys can have time enjoying the previous chapter before I dived into this chapter.
Big thanks to my beta reader @gigilefache! Your amazing as always!!
Enjoy!
The following morning, Sara woke up to a text from Oliver telling her to come to the facility as soon as possible. She quickly got changed and drove to the facility as fast as she could. Once making it, she parked her car and texted Oliver.
I’m here.
Sara got out of her car and went inside, the second she started walking she got another text from Oliver.
We’re in the meeting room.
The female founder nodded and made her way to what will be the meeting room for when the founders hold their meetings with their co-workers. Upon entering she saw Oliver and Wiatt sitting down.
“Hey, is something wrong?” Sara asked as she went over to sit with the boys.
“No, nothing is wrong,” Oliver answered.
Sara raised an eyebrow. “Then why did you text me to come in asap?”
“Because,” Wiatt spoke up, “Lewis has been messing around with the gems.”
The female founder’s eyes widened as she let out a groan. “We shouldn’t be messing around with them till we get answers.” She gruffed.
“I know,” Wiatt replied, “but Lewis and I were talking last night, and we decided it’s best we keep our gems with us at all times.”
“It’s better than Wiatt bringing his box around, so I agreed with the idea,” Oliver added.
Sara looked back and forth at the two boys and wasn’t sure about the idea. It was a good one, but it was also risky having the gems out in the open where many employees would see it. Plus with Litho and Winnie still out there, it would give them an easy chance to snatch it. With a sigh, she shared her thoughts.
“I think it’s a good idea too,” Sara revealed. The two boys smiled at the girl’s answer. “But how are we going to keep the gems with us?”
“That’s why Lewis is messing with them,” Oliver replied, “he’s trying to disguise the gems, so no one would question it.”
“How does one disguise a gem?”
The three heard the door open and close, turning to see Lewis holding the box. “Oh, Sara.” He exclaimed. “You came just in time. Did Wiatt and Oliver explain everything to you?”
Sara nodded.
“Well?” Wiatt asked, hoping his boyfriend would come up with something.
“Well, darling. I finally came up with a disguise.” Lewis stated as he opened the box to show the gems were now disguised to look like necklaces.
The gems had a gold chain, and to hold the chain Lewis used gold clay. As a bonus, he added a symbol on top of the gems. For himself, he added a star, for Sara a heart, for Wiatt a diamond, and for Oliver, a lightning bolt.
Lewis’s friends were in awe of his craftsmanship. “Lewis, these look amazing!” Wiatt beamed.
“Thank you darling,” Lewis replied as he handed his friends their gems. As the four put their necklaces on, the unthinkable happened. The necklaces started to glow, causing the quartet’s eyes to glow their respective color and levitate for a bit.
Soon the glow faded, and the four slowly went back to the ground. The gems gained a little bit of color back but still faded. The Dream Quartet looked at one another in shock at what just happened, as their eyes slowly went back to their usual color.
“Okay…” Lewis started. “That was freaky.”
“Very.” Sara agreed.
“Guys! Look!” Wiatt exclaimed looking at his gem. Lewis and the others looked down and saw their gems started gaining color again.
“Okay…this is getting weirder and weirder,” Sara commented. “First they lost color, now their color is coming back.”
“Guess messing with them isn’t a bad thing.” Wiatt pointed out.
Sara turned and glared at the boy. “Yeah because messing with them the first time worked so much better.” She said sarcastically.
Wiatt glared and was ready to say something back, but Lewis stopped him and spoke up.
“Darling, wasn’t it you and Oliver messing with the gems first?” Lewis asked.
“Don’t push it Lewis,” Sara threatened, jabbing Lewis in the chest with her finger.
As Sara and Lewis bickered, Wiatt heard what sounded like a violin. He wondered if it was the speakers playing music, but it wasn’t. “Guys!” Wiatt exclaimed. Lewis, Sara, and Oliver turned to the smaller boy. “Listen.”
Soon, Lewis, Oliver, and Sara heard the violin playing as well.
“You hear that too, right?” Wiatt asked.
The trio nodded, “Lewis, is your phone playing music, again?” Sara asked.
Lewis shook his head “no, darling.” He replied, pulling his phone out of his pocket, showing that nothing was playing.
“Then where’s it coming from?” Sara wondered as she looked around.
The four listened longer and Oliver knew where the source of the sound was coming from, “I know where it is.” He spoke. The others then turned to the taller founder. “Follow me.” The group started to follow Oliver to the source of the music. There, they found the music was coming from what would be the repair room for the animatronics.
Oliver gulped, afraid of what was on the other side. His eyes glowed green as electric sparks appeared in his hands.
Wiatt put his hand on Oliver’s shoulder, making the taller boy turn to face him. Oliver then saw Wiatt’s eyes glowing yellow as he prepared a shield. “Let’s prepare what we’re dealing with, ok?” Wiatt asked.
Oliver nodded in reply.
Wiatt slowly turned the knob ready to open the door, as Oliver was ready to use his powers, and Lewis and Sara held their hands tightly as they stood behind their friends. Wiatt slowly opened the door, and his eyes widened as he saw a kid playing the violin. The mechanic was cautious thinking it could be Litho in disguise or a follower like Winnie. He opened the door wider, holding the shield to protect him and his friends.
The kid paused, playing, “I’ve been waiting on you, Mr. Nicholson.” He spoke.
Wiatt froze feeling his blood run cold. “H-How did you know?”
The kid turned. The group froze seeing the kid turn around. He was a ghost. “I’ve been watching you, all of you.” He made his violin disappear.
“W-Who are you?” Lewis asked, stuttering a bit.
“Pardon me. I’m Alison.” The boy introduced himself, giving a bow.
Sara’s eyes widened recognizing that name, “w-wait. I’ve heard of you, y-your family was one of Litho’s victims.” She explained.
Alison nodded, “I’m impressed you were able to break free from his control, Miss. Covetman.”
The female founder frowned, not deserving praise from the ghost. “I-I still did awful things.” She said not looking at the ghost boy.
“Still, I can sense you're trying to be a good person,” Allison reassured her.
Sara gave a small smile, but she still wasn’t convinced, at least not yet.
Realizing the ghost wasn’t a threat, Wiatt’s eyes go back to normal as his shield fades away. “Alison,” Wiatt spoke up, causing the ghost to face him. “Sara said you're one of Litho’s victims, correct?”
“Correct,” Alison answered.
“Then, do you have any clues about the gems?” Wiatt asked, showing his gem.
Alison looked at the gem and shook his head. “I’m sorry. I don’t know everything other than what Litho told me.” He answered.
“It’s a start,” Lewis spoke up. “Please, tell us what you know darling.”
Alison nodded, “from what Litho told me, these gems were discovered years before I was born.” He started. “They were discovered in a cave far away from here, by someone Litho considered a target.”
Sara’s eyes widened, “Clara.” She revealed.
“So that was her name,” Alison exclaimed while showing no emotion. “Funny, Litho never said her name, all he told me was a girl and her three friends defeated him, only for him to turn into the monster he is today.”
“W-What else did he tell you about her?” Sara asked, wanting to know more about the girl from her visions.
“Not much I’m afraid,” Alison answered. “Litho never liked talking about her.”
Sara sighed, disappointed the ghost didn’t have much info on Clara.
“What else do you know about all this?” Oliver asked.
“When Litho and my family started their contract, we had extended family and friends who tried to get Litho away from us.” Alison continued. “He then made a deal with them that if they were to find the gems, he’d let us go. Sadly, they never found it, and I suffered at the hands of Litho.”
The ghost boy turned away, as memories of his family and friends begging Litho to let them go rang in his mind, as well as their screams as Litho killed them off one by one for failing to find the gems.
Wiatt and the founders frowned upon hearing the story. Sara on the other hand knew that even if someone did bring back the box, Alison and his family still would’ve suffered.
“I think it’s slowly coming together now,” Wiatt said. Sara snapped out of her thoughts as she, Lewis, and Oliver turned to the smaller boy. “From my understanding, Clara is connected with Sara.”
Sara’s eyes widened at that theory.
“We don’t know how you two are connected, but we could believe one of her friends was Cyrus, and you said Cyrus looked like Lewis, correct?”
“Y-Yeah!” Sara replied.
“So it’s quite possible Clara had two other friends connected to me and Oliver.” Wiatt theorized.
Oliver looked surprised, “you think there’s someone like us?” He asked.
Wiatt was able to speak up, but halted. He needed proof to show his theory was correct. “Sara, do you think you can use your powers to be sure?” He asked.
Sara frowned, as she looked at the two boys. She was nervous knowing there was a chance she may see Oliver and Wiatt have a horrible fate. However, she got this far and nodded. “I’ll try.”
She went over to Oliver and put her hand on his shoulder. Sara waited, but nothing was happening. With a sigh she let go of Oliver she went to Wiatt next. She put her hands on his shoulder.
“Well, anything?” Wiatt asked.
Sara frowned when her powers didn’t activate. She let go of Wiatt and stepped back, “I’m sorry.” She said, “Nothing is coming up.
Oliver and Wiatt frowned, seeing they wouldn't prove the theory after all.
Lewis put his hand on her shoulder. “Don’t force yourself darling. It will come on its own time.” He said.
Sara nodded. “It would be nice to know now.”
“I should’ve asked, how did you four come across the jewels?” Alison asked. “Nobody was able to find it for years.”
“I found it at my grandfather’s old mansion, I brought it here and the second we opened it, we got these powers,” Wiatt explained.
“I see,” Alison replied, “from my understanding, this is your destiny.”
The four looked in shock, “d-destiny?” Oliver questioned.
“Clara and three others used the gems before and defeated Litho, now centuries later another four have claimed the gems. Face it, you four are the ones to defeat Litho.” Alison explained.
The four looked at one another before looking at the ghost kid in disbelief. “D-Darling, as much as I’m all into the tropes, I don’t think we’re all for the heroic stuff.”
“Really why is that?” Alison asked.
“We got our ass kicked by Winnie a few days ago!” Wiatt exclaimed.
“Oh right, but I know you four can do this,” Alison reassured them. “Your souls are different from any other human being.”
“Well, they are protected by the gems.” Lewis pointed out.
Alison shook his head. “No I believe it’s more than that.” He said before fading away.
“W-Wait!” Wiatt exclaimed, but before he could grab them, Alison was gone. The group was left shocked and confused.
Was it really fate and not just an accident?

A bit more lore on Arthur past wish it had been a full chapter but it's better then nothing
Not sure what's being said but I'm happy to see Arthur again and I pray we run in to some else that maybe knows Arthur like maybe some of his citizens from the original Camelot who were there with him when he was rebuilding it that did stick around with him even after he changed so we could get more on him
I get the strong feeling that we won't get a full flashback story on Arthur's past till Merlin appears sadly and that's the part that sucks for me cuz I really do want to see like more of Arthur's past like what it was like with him meeting Merlin while she was allowed to just go off and take Arthur and train him
What was happening at Arthur's twenties up until him becoming the so-called evil dictator that he is now trying to have a race war with everyone why did Merlin leave him or disappear did she die or does Arthur think she's dead
I'm sure we'll get the answer possibly in part 3 because I believe by the end of part two that's when we'll get guineverse vision and all of the sins will fight the four evils and I think Merlin's going to show up the end to help defend her friends and that's when she'll reveal this backstory to before nights cuz I think the other sins are going to get sealed away or killed off
Because at some point like in every other story The MENTOR characters have to die or be removed from the story for some reason and that's the sins because there's such well-known and such overpowered characters why are we looking at the four nights to stop Arthur and Camelot when the sins are still active
So it would make sense to sight like them completely where they're not in the story anymore I get the feeling by the time we hit chapter 200 that's when we'll possibly get the vision that one of your head but I don't know I know that by chapter 200 I know something special has to at least happen because it was around chapter 200 where we finally learned about Elizabeth and meliodas's curse so I think like with the seven deadly sins series by the time we hit the 200 chapters that won't when we'll learn important information that'll help with the overall lower and the rest of the story
Sorry for yapping so much I'm happy to see the mangas back still not sure how I feel about nakuba writing at times I get it's his story but I have the write to feel this way and I know some people that ask me why I just don't drop the manga if it gets to
a certain point and I feel the story is going a certain way even if I do mainly just read this story for three characters I swear I probably will drop it even
though I really love these characters and want the best for them but for now I'm going to continue reading it I'm going to try to give it another chance if I can and see where it goes with the story

Introduction and development
Hi everyone! I am very drunk and have been fighting with twine for two hours to understand a simple template and make sense of how much I can delete and change till I ruin it. XD
First of all, my name is Greenbee and Iberian Tales is my first If-game! I won't be able to make many posts a month probably because I'm a full-time academic victim, but il make sure to update you all on what´s new (If there´s any because I will for sure cry at some point about having to program all this lol), as well as drop some lore for the world I want to create in the If.
You already have a post on the basics of Iberian culture, which will be your MC´s starting baseline. Il cove the essential aspects but since it is mostly a lost culture, il have to take some liberties here and there. Witch is great but also not because I will actually have to break my brain to sound smart. But oh well, I am determined to finish this and be proud no matter what.
It would be grate to have your input since I want to create something people enjoy, so MABYE Il drops some advances in the storyline *wink* so I know what you think.
Thank you all, strangers on the internet for your support, I am kind of a dopamine addict, so your feedback actually reminds me to write the thing and motivates me to get to the end of the proyect.
Thank you all, hope you have a lovely day/night/other <3
Summary : Il soon be back with news since I'm on a high-motivation period (Witch should be for school, buuuuutttt....This is kind of more important right now), also I love to read your comments. Be safe! Byeeeee!

A love letter to Mass Effect
( ft. my OCs; Daryus, Alexis and Kirr :3 )
Today (27/10) mark the 11 year of me discovering Mass Effect. A little more than a decade later, this game still hold a very special place in my heart. I say this knowing full well that I have been jumping from fandom to fandom, hyper fixation changing over the years, posting less about ME. Yet, it is the only consistent thing throught out the years. The one happiness that keep dormant and some times come back. Like every N7 day ❤️
Mass Effect means more to me than just a game. I discovered it in a time where I was a little lost in life. I recently finished highschool, had dropped college, worked a whole year and was actually trying back to go to school. Bakery class. I was a little lost overwhelmed by all that was going on. One day my best friend came over and she had this game, she got on sale on Steam. It looked interesting. Space, fight, action, futuristic, stuff I like. Peaked my interest and the same day I decided to buy it. And so I started my Mass Effect journey.
I tried the first game, you know the OG one, not the amazing remake of Legenday, and god I hated it. So I gave up only started from the second. Eventually bought the third game later on. Mass Effect 2 was my first introduction (or a re-introduction) to RPG style game. I never really had played a game where your choices mattered and had consequences (at least aware of it. Sorry Legion and Miranda!) but also romance?! Totally discovered that by accident. I thought I was casual, nope apparently I had accepted to sleep with the big lizard man 😂 Rambling a little but, ME really gave me an idea of what game genra I like. Even today, my most favorite game are RPG ones (Dragon Age, Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout (althought I did play it before but never really grasped the concept till ME)) The more I played the more the characters started to feel like family. Back then I probably did 5 playthrought in a row. Probably burned me out in restropect but I enjoyed still.
This game also came at a moment where I was trying to distance myself from Transformers. It had helped me throught a hard time in my life and most of my highschool years, but the fandom was getting to toxic. I had to escape. With Mass Effect, I started new. I met awesome people. Some who just passed by, other who stayed who are still mutual till this day even if we talk less and I'm jumping fandom, but... It's also thank to Mass Effect that I met my partner. Because he saw art I made of my OCs. And while it all started as just randomly talking throught ask on tumblr (back in the days where DM didn't exist lol), nerding about ME and eventually other thing, it turn out that 10 years later we are stuck with each other still ❤️ For this I owe Mass Effect a lot. Around the same time I also got my first dog ever which obviously I had to name after one of my favorite character. Tali 😌 Althought she had more a character like Jack. My big girl who stayed with us for 8 years, I miss her dearly.
Talking of OCs, these three as seen above here are my first, and for a long time, most thought out ones. Today it might be blurry but back then, my Mass Effect lore knowledge was off the chart. You know all the Star Wars or Trekkie geek who know all? That was me with Mass Effect. So I was able to really make them more fleshed out, connected them to the canon without be completely depend, they had their own adventures. Today my CoD OC has the same work put into her, if not more 🫣 Still my little trio still hold a place in my heart even if I draw them much less.
Mass Effect by itself is a game with great aspects for the time it came out, but also as its flaws, nothing is perfect. But I'm not here to give an analyse on that, enough people do it. Yet I do understand that it wasn't perfect. Even if it sounds like I put on pedestal, it's only for the reason above. How it changed and helped my life. This is my love letter to it. Because I don't think I would be where I am now if it wasn't from it. If I had never knew the game, I wouldn't have make OCs. No OCs, my partner never find about my blog, we never talk, I never move to Belgium and I never have the life I have now. Today, most of my playthroughts are left unfinished, a little bit like the drawing above. For various reason, but the main one is I always play till the Citadel DLC and then I can't bring myself to finish. It's like leave it in a constent state of happy time, of cherished parts and nothing sad happen. My happy place.
Ok I'm not to sure where I was going with this, I'm probably rambling and it's hard to put in word what I feel about this game, how much it means to me. I feel like this text doesn't give it justice but it's all I can say.
TLDR: Mass Effect changed life, I meet amazing people because of it and even if the game as its flaws and I'm not as active as I was about it, I love it with all my heart and nothing will ever change this.
