:) Hello! To be honest, I'm still debating many aspects of the story, like the accuracy I want to portray of the era its set in, the themes I want to explore, and what I'm willing to sacrifice for realism .

I also have mixed feelings as an author, the journey MC has to go through to get to that point its VERY far from glorious and even less heroic.

No problem! Yes! There will be 2 femail RO´s, and I already have a picture of who they are and the role they play on the story. Im just a bit of a perfectionist and Im setting the fundations of the game statistics and how to make a twist. As well as also getting used to how to write If games!

Back from the dead: DEVELOPMENT BLOG

Hi, I'm alive and hopefully thriving, but here we are with promising announcements!

First of all interface programming is DONE, which means that the puzzle box has arrived and now I need to take out the pieces and put them together. Im still working on the aesthetics tho, because it honestly looks as if I had a seizure while choosing the colours. :')

Second of all, story planning is at a 70%, which means the prologue is almost ready and Im starting to write the first chapter! After this Il be ready to do a beta testing and after do a public release directly.

Third, I am looking into how I want to plan the rolls for the stats and basically building a system for a more thrilling decision-making process.

This system is still in progress and might change depending in how desperate I become about managing it. But as I dislike certainty, I'm hoping to make a more... risk-involved narrative!

Hey guys, chapter 4 is out! ✨ This might be my favorite chapter as of yet hehe (then again, any chapter is my favorite once I write them…)

In this update, I have added MC customization, which is a thing I didn’t think I would include. But then I saw the opportunity and was like, oh well why not, wouldn’t hurt 🤷‍♀️ And it inspired me some new scenes that I really like!

Chapter 4 follows the aftermath of a certain revelation in chapter 3, along with some good ol’ high school drama as the cherry on top. Hope you enjoy! ✨

The quiet bartender has a curious perspective on things. He seems to have no problem with the HIVE members patrolling his bar, even serving them drinks like they’re normal customers, despite their heavy armor and edges that are too sharp to be humane.

He also doesn’t seem to be particularly interested in you in the slightest. Why’s that?

Teacher: True Neutral. Around ~200 years old. The chasm-dwelling shadow who taught you all you know of the Chasm and its residents.

Alistar: alignment unknown. Around ~200 years old. That’s you! You’re Alistar. At least, that’s what the world has been calling you ever since you ended the war and revitalized humanity, so that is what you will be referred to as throughout the entirety of the story. However, if you’d like to change your name (as Alistar is the default) you may!

As I am primarily an author (as in I literally have done nothing else with my life) I am new to coding (I took ONE coding club in fourth grade) and am trying to write out and perfect a chapter before converting it into typical IF form.

Once I manage to get things situated, I’ll started to code. I’m currently almost done writing chapter 4, so I’ll start working on coding once I finish it.

That's right!! We get to annoy the living daylights out of our big green boy again!!!

I'm so thankful for all the love and support A Tavern at Night has received (and continues to receive!)--and of course for the demands for more. Well, I heard you loud and clear, and here he is.

Firelight picks up after A Tavern at Night's "good" ending. There will be multiple endings, chooseable pronouns, and... some kind of card game! Sorry, Azram. There's no escape.

And of course this game is ace-friendly as always :)

Theo:

Theo hadn't seen it coming, he was too used to leaning in to understand their broken Latin better. The kiss was short and soft, and everything that Theo had never imagined a kiss could be or mean. The memory of the kiss still dwelled on his mind, it made the heat of his skin emanate like a warm fire, his stomach felt lighter, and he worried his pulse could be heard because of how hard it was beating.

He wondered how he even got to feel about them as he did, especially when they couldn't even understand each other. Mabye it was the way they moved with such a graze or the way they fought with such a passion. Mabye it was the way they showed they were so smart in their own charming way. But mabye it was just the way they always proved with action instead of words how much Theo had come to mean to them.

This kiss was proof, an invitation, and now it was his turn to give them an answer.

Eon:

Since he was a child, Eon hated teases, he always ate what he liked first when his mother served him dinner. And he always completed the tasks he liked the most first. His sin might be his preference for gratification over vegetables or boring hard work.

It was not the kiss that surprised him, he had spent weeks with a heat in his stomach and an electric sensation every time his eyes were upon them. It was more than their unique beauty, or the strange way they spoke his mother language. What surprised Eon was the rejection he felt when their lips left his.

He kissed them back, mabye too intensely, mabye too roughly, but for a second he could swear he could live forever off from their kiss alone. The way they curled under him just was enough to make him feel he was struck by Thor's thunder.

Sorry for taking so long, I really wanted to write something loyal to my characters and that would give him more dimension.

THE CAREFREE ROMANCE "Is it sin to love?"

Many would categorize them as a golden retriever, always filled with energy and a happy aura. They walked through those stage doors, immediately greeting everybody with respect and smiles on their face.

Corin/Carrie, a cold demeanor mixed with a frozen heart, is the perfect actor for the counterpart lead in a movie that ends in heartbreak. You swore they were throwing daggers at you through the whole reading of the script. The directors say they can feel a connection brewing beneath their harsh exterior, but you can't seem to spot it.

THE THRILLER ROMANCE "The vanity of existence."

Kenley/Kaylee, a mixture of both cold and warm, you don't actually know if they'd be the perfect actor at all. They're all over the place, left and right, backward and forwards, you can't ever seem to spot them in one place for more than five minutes. The directors are starting to wonder if you two will even be able to progress through these scenes with their attention being constantly stolen, but hey, who knows, it might work!
