Kazutoshi!!! I really miss this lil dude, he was such an asshole but he really made Tetro special. He wasn't the nicest guy around, but he was still a teenager trying his best to navigate this cruel world while dealing with his own inner demons. He deserved so much better. Im never gonna be over how yanagi hair is bleached like ooo symbolism for moving on and changing into someone new (probs bleached it after the divorce)

I noted before how yanagi mom hair is brown so his dad must have had black hair (cause black hair genes are dominant over brown), meaning yanagi looks more like his dad who he hates. Did he bleach his hair to look less like him, trying to stop the cycle of abuse??

Also also its said that when he was a kid (with black hair still), he was a rebellious kid who frequently disobeyed but now the yanagi we know now is like the complete opposite. Connecting bleaching his hair and changing his attitude to others as his efforts in trying to be less like his dad. He really is doing everything in order to not repeat their same mistakes aghh

Things to keep in mind regarding this Chapter's murder:

1) Wada has periods of going non-verbal. While this ordinarily wouldn't be an issue, it could be cause for alarm if he's silent during his scheduled morning announcements. If Yanagi and Mai are still with him though, they could explain the situation away and assure the students that he's okay. If not, then he could potentially be dead on the air.

2) Monomoko changed the BDA rules without alerting the students. Instead of it being triggered by a single person discovering the body, it will instead go off when an undisclosed number of people discover the victim (I'm assuming it will be three like regular DR rules). This means there will be a whole lot of confusion following the first person finding the body, and the actual announcement itself.

3) The darkness provides the perfect cover for both the victim and the killer. The body could be hidden in plain sight thanks to the dark, and the killer could easily navigate the school without fear of being easily discovered.

4) A game night has been proposed to alleviate the moods of the students. Anybody that has played Project: Eden's Garden knows just how terrible game tournaments can go 😭

5) Yanagi is throwing up HUGE death flags. He has gotten so much development lately, from him wanting to distance himself from his abusive father to wanting to better himself.

He has found a sibling dynamic in Tamba, partially made up with Hiroaki and Ojima, is offering Wada help with his ED, has unspoken feelings for Mai that he was advised against sharing (which means it will crush Mai to find out he truly loved her once he's actually dead)... Everything is pointing towards him being the victim, which I hate.

5) Conversely, Ken has had no presence whatsoever due to him silently grieving Kazutoshi's death in his own way, which probably means he's safe from being the victim or killer this chapter.

I'm starting to think that ken's arc might be that he starts getting more active during the deadly life as opposed to the daily life. Ken starting to speak up in trials more investigating the body with mai again stuff like that. as of now I totally see Ken doing the closing argument. Maybe even some parallels to how kamimura did the closing argument in chapter 2. (especially since im like 90% sure this murder is gonna be an accident)

Tetro Danganronpa Pink but the scientists are actually crazy matchmakers and are like “you guys can’t leave until you fall in love, have your feelings reciprocated, and get married” and they call it “The Marriage Game” instead of the killing game.

All of the students are so fucking confused but after a week it’s like watching a romcom with drama and misunderstandings and the scientists are just watching it like a soap opera are something. What do you mean Kamimura won’t confess because he thinks Ken and Isono are getting together? Oh my God, FINALLY Yanagi is moving on from Sasaki it took 3 seasons of that to happen. Also FINALLY HIROAKI IS MAKING A MOVE ON TAKESHI. They spent a good portion of the budget trying to get that moved along with all the ballroom dancing events!!!

this is a very funny thought bc imagine they keep harada in this even tho he already has a gf,,, get this guy outta here….. ballroom dancing event is pretty awesome n real. need this. let them fall in love n be relatively happy. 💯💯
