Considering how popular Qijiu and Liujiu are as a ships, and that a lot of people seem to headcanon Liu Qingge as having at least crushed on Yue Qingyuan for a while, I'm surprised there aren't more throuple/OT3 fics for them.

I mean not actually because it would be such a bad idea. They would have so many problems. There would be so many hurdles, like even just getting two of these guys to hookup usually involves some degree of truth serum or cosmic intervention or fuck-or-die scenarios, but embroiling all three of them in something like that would just let their bizarro brain worms thrive. Each of them is convinced that they are somehow the third wheel. Shen Jiu thinks that the only thing stopping Liu Qingge from plotting to kill him is that he's not clever enough to plot, and that Yue Qingyuan is enduring his inclusion under sufferance of guilt. Liu Qingge thinks that Shen Jiu is definitely actively plotting to kill him to get him out of the way, and that Yue Qingyuan is enduring his inclusion under sufferance of guilt. Yue Qingyuan is sure that any day now Liu Qingge and Shen Jiu are going to figure out that they're actually perfect for one another and then eject him from the polycule. They are all not speaking to each other but also regularly having furniture-shattering sex. Despite everything, the sex improves their dispositions so much that none of the other peak lords dare to intervene.

btw i think that it's cowardice that winter, moon and quibli didn't got to be a throuplet. winter wouldn't have been a good partner for either of them one in one, cause he didn't learn yet how to act gentle and how to lower his expectations towards himself and the world, and he is also outragously bad at communication. on the other hand, he thinks of moon and quibli so fondly, he considers them the closest to him, and he really tries. if any dragon on pyrrhia is trying, then it's winter. i imagine him being the stray cat boyfriend in the throuple, eager to learn from the other two and be close to them. and whenever you'd consider him too straight for a guy like quibli, remind yourself that he is a glittery prince of ice, what else would sound more bisexual then that??? from quibli's point of view, what the hell man. this dragon calls the prince of ice i mentioned before gorgeous and handsome and awesome every second page. HE IS SO GAY FOR HIM, AND HE ALSO BELIEVES IN HIM, quibli trusts winter so much that he would have let moon be with him. and on the third talon, moon chose well of course. she never was unable to make choices, she told quibli her decision as soon she figured it out, and we really love her for it. i am not sure how she's feeling, she has so much love for every one of her friends, i really can't speak in her place. But i also believe she would thrive in a polyam relationship, cause she is so honest and good in communication and she would adore her silly goofies loving eachother, she is just so openminded. i, of course, appriciate bromances and also appriciate winter's humble accaptance and sacrifice for his friend and his love, these are great, but i don't think winter should have deserved to be left alone, still feeling like he is unworthy of love and only his sacrifices matter to his loved ones. that really doesn't add to his growth.

“Does it always feel like that for you?” He asks carefully. “When I’m working?”

“Always? No,” she says. “Just… Sometimes. When I hear you’ve almost died…”

“Right, okay,” he nods. “So, it’s not like…”

“Oh my god,” Shannon realizes. “Eddie, I’m not asking you to quit.”

His face washes with relief. “Oh.”

She gets why he thought that. She can see it clearly. That was always the fight, right? Why did he enlist? Why did he reenlist? Why couldn’t he be there? At home, instead of at work. An argument that had never ended. She had grown to resent his job, the military, so much that she still gets a prickle of annoyance when she sees a soldier romance novel or movie. Not that that’s entirely fair. The army didn’t make him sign up without running it by her. 

“It’s different,” Shannon says. “I know they’re not the same.”

“Okay,” Eddie says. “Okay, good, because I… I really do love this job, Shannon. It’s not just…”

“I know,” she says. “I’m not suggesting you leave. I’m just saying it brought all the same feelings back, when I heard about the well, as when they called me and said your chopper went down.”

He nods a little, eyes downturned. 

“It did for me, too.”

Shannon looks at him, stunned. He never talks about that. Usually gets annoyed when she tries to bring it up. Or at least, he did. Back… Back before. 

“That must have been hard,” she murmurs.

“Yeah,” he says. “It was.”

It’s not a lot, but it’s more than she’s used to. 

“I know you… I know you’re not reckless or someone who tries to get hurt,” Shannon says. “I’m not… That’s not… I guess, just, what if the worst happened?”

“If I died? On shift?” Eddie asks.

“Yeah, or… I guess it’s not even just about at work. I mean, I got hit by a car in May. That could have easily been worse,” she says. 

Eddie’s mouth tightens. “God, I don’t want to think about that.”

“Me neither, but…”

“But we have to, is where you’re going with all this?”

“Yeah,” Shannon agrees. “I think we have to.”

Because one of them could die. Eddie, at work, easily. Either of them, out of work, in some freak accident. Crossing the street… 

“Okay,” Eddie says tightly. “What, uh… What do you want to… To talk about?”

“We should have a plan,” Shannon says. 

“A plan?” Eddie repeats. 

“Yes, a plan,” Shannon says. “Because after feeling sick about the idea of you being gone for an hour, I… I wondered, what the hell would I do?” 

Eddie thinks about this. 

“If I died, I mean… That would be hard, but-”

“Shannon, that wouldn’t be just hard. That would destroy me,” Eddie says, voice deadly serious. “Don’t play that down.”

Shannon is quiet for a second, a little thrown off by the intensity of his words.

“Okay, uh… I just mean… You could literally afford me dying. I can’t afford you dying. And, yes, obviously it would devastate me, too. You know it would. I’m just not sure how I’d keep us going… All three of us, without you.”

Eddie shakes his head. “No, you… You could-”

“No,” she shakes her head. “Not… Not with all the resources Chris needs, Eddie. And babies are so expensive. Medical bills, without your insurance? I couldn’t. I have no education or qualifications-”

“Shannon, I’m-”

“Not your fault,” she cuts him off. “Just the way it went. But, would we survive? Sure. Maybe. Would we thrive… I don’t know. And tell me you think your parents wouldn’t sue for custody.”

“They would,” Eddie agrees. “They totally would. If it’s any consolation, I think they’d sue for custody if you died, too. They don’t trust me anymore.”

“So?” Shannon shrugs. “We need a plan. For if either of us die. Oh, god. If both of us died.”

“Why would both of us die?” Eddie asks. 

“Do you remember the tsunami that nearly killed Buck, Chris, and I?” Shannon asks.

“That’s not going to happen again,” Eddie says. “Right? That’s definitely not a normal thing.”

“Eddie! How many people do you see die tragically every week?” Shannon huffs, slightly exasperated.

Eddie dips his head. “Too many.”

“Too many, right,” Shannon nods. “So let’s just have a plan for the most tragic thing, okay? Because I’ve almost lost you twice.” 

Eddie takes a deep breath. “Okay. Okay, you’re right.”

“Thank you,” Shannon sighs, relieved.

“We should update our wills, and… And if… You know, if I did die, you know Buck would… Buck would help you.”

“Yeah, but it’s not like you and he are married, it’s not-”

“No, I mean he’d want to,” Eddie says. “In either case… I-in any case, he’d want to help with the kids.”

Shannon considers this. He would. She knows Eddie is right. Buck wouldn’t just step out of their lives because Eddie died.

I have so many feelings about the training trio.................... if you've read any of my stuff or seen my art around v3 they are the most Doomed Yuri in the world and I thrive on the pain their relationship has. Maki and Shuichi are Hella trauma bonded post-game and Himiko is their weird daughter. They both had a crush on Kaito and he was their fucking PERSON they live because of him.

Headcanons for Gil-galad and Celebrian's relationship (when both love Elrond)

They don't dislike each other, but nor do they go out of their way to interact.

Gil-galad was with Elrond for many years in Lindon. They loved each other, but Gil-galad never asked Elrond to marry him for political reasons. He always knew there would come a time when Elrond would want more than Gil-galad could give him and would eventually fall in love with and marry someone. And the king is fine with that in theory. He just doesn't like to think about it.

Obviously, Gil-galad would have preferred not to die. But he's relieved that when Elrond did marry, Gil-galad has long since been in Valinor. He hears stuff about Elrond as other elves come to Valinor, and he's happy Elrond found someone whom Elrond clearly loves. He's glad Elrond has moved on and is by all accounts thriving. He's just glad he doesn't need to see his lover with someone else.

Celebrian was never bothered by Elrond having a lover before her. She might have been had Gil-galad still been alive when she married Elrond, but since the king was gone, she never had to worry about it.

When Celebrian and Gil-galad meet in Valinor, it's awkward, but not full of anger. More they don't know how to speak to each other. So often they just avoid each other.

When Elrond comes to Valinor, they don't make him choose, but nor are they necessarily a throuple. Elrond lives with Celebrian. Gil-galad lives separately, but he and Elrond still spend time with each other almost daily.

Gil-galad respects Celebrian's place as Elrond's spouse and is glad Elrond has her, even if he sometimes yearns for the days of Lindon, when it was just him and Elrond.

Celebrian is secure in her position and knows that just because Elrond loves Gil-galad, he won't love her less.

Occassionally, Celebrian and Gil-galad will collaborate, though, and it's in those moments Elrond knows he has truly fucked up. For example, when he gets sick from overworking himself, and Celebrian insists he gets rest. But she gets called away on some errand, so she invites Gil-galad over to make sure Elrond doesn't use her absence as an opportunity to finish transcribing just one more tablet.

Mel and Sky didn’t interact much in Arcane because if Mel met Sky a lot the things that happen in Arcane wouldn’t have happened

If Mel met Sky she would have realized there was someone as smart as Jayce and Viktor without the baggage of Jayce only having one braincell to focus on a crisis at time

And there is Viktor, who has one life and he is so fucking close to dying

If Mel had focused more on uplifting Sky, I am so sure that Zaun would be a lot better because unlike Jayce, she knows what help Zaun really needs and she is steadfast with her approach to achieve this goal.

In season 2, Sky with Viktor was able to make the deepest darkest part of Zaun into a thriving commune/ cult, and she did all of that WITHOUT A BODY

IMAGINE WHAT SHE COULD DO IF IT WAS MEL BY HER SIDE, TWO HIGHLY COMPETENT WOMEN WHO WANT THEIR CITY TO BE BETTER

They would match each other so hard, and this could turn into a throuple with the inclusion of Elora
