douwata not moving any further to any non abstract or excusable romantic actions because of their self imposed belief that they can't push past their boundary limit for the sake of the other person is tragically beautiful but also so stupid like. you want to just push them together cause if they ever actually decisively crossed the line you know there'd truly be no going back so they'd have no choice but to talk about it. like you can't unfuck the christmas turkey they're both dams with limits and a flood can only be held back so long. even if they're both champs when it comes to keeping it in their hearts it would be pretty easy to make them actually be honest if those circumstances crossed the limit. if they tripped and fell and accidental kissed like in a sleazy romcom itd be over they would have nowhere to run
