How long has it been since she’d gotten her hair braided? A while… she thinks. Though raised alongside with a sweet && caring younger sister, two of them somehow have grown out the routine to braid each other’s hair. With the absence of a mother’s figure in their life, it is Renge who had to take the role of a maternal figure within the household, as her sister and she only have each other. Having someone else, braiding her hair with a gentle touch like this—it is somewhat of a nostalgic feel.

Sometimes she’d question if her mother was around, she’d gently braid her hair && caress her head — like every loving mother would do to her daughter, but… it’s not like she’s still around anymore.

“Hinata-san is very gentle with her hands,” she chirps as she lets the older girl continue with her handiworks ‘pon her long brown tresses. “And very skilled too—do you get to braid someone’s hair often like this?”
