Misako Aizawa

What time is it? It's Misako Azuma time.

In contrast to her husband, Misako grew up with a very different kind of life. She is the oldest out of her three siblings, then comes her sister and her brother last. Misako grew up affluent and never really have to want for anything. Her family home is in Saitama, but her family has always had more than one residence.

Her father is a highly respected judge and comes from a long line of them. The Azuma family has the the ability to read things at record speed. To finish an entire college textbook, it could take them anywhere between a half hour to an hour to finish it. Whatever they read can be spit right back out at you. However, just like anyone else they will forget the information over time if they don't make an effort to put it to memory.

The quirk has very few restrictions. A drawback of them utilizing their power is that they can have terrible headaches or migraines after using it for extended period of time. This fundamentally has allowed the Azuma family to succeed in fields that require a lot of studying such as law or medicine. Like his predecessors, Chikao Azuma put in the work to become a lawyer, but a lot of his success relied heavily on nepotism and deals being done under the table.

Misako's mother (Min-Jae) is an heiress to a large Korean investment company. Her mother's side of the family have a probability quirk/quirk of foresight and have the ability to predict how likely statistics & numbers will change. With their family owning an investment company, they are able to predict when numbers the stock market will go up or when it will go down.

As with any quirk, they have their limitations and only can see so far into the future and if they try to go beyond that limitation, the vision will muddle or they will become confused. The confusion is very much like chess blindness when there are so many possibilities that the player becomes disorientated and are unable to make even the simplest of strategies.

While they may not have the ability to look 10 years into the future to see if their investments are viable long term, it is beneficial as far as day trading goes. They also are unable to predict the outcome of any other event. Its strictly a math based foresight.

Being the eldest, Misako had a lot on her shoulders and her parents expected nothing but perfection out of her. Once her quirk began to manifest, her parents worked on planning her future, she was to be an attorney as she had inherited her father's quirk. As a teenager she often rebelled against her parents in anyway that she could. Ear piercings, styling her hair by shaving off a chunk of it, chokers, anything that would set her parent's teeth on edge (Shota gets his goth aesthetic from someone).

They could choose her career, but Misako refused to allow them to choose her husband. She didn't want a loveless marriage. By the time that her family had planned to start finding a partner for her, she had already fallen in love with her future-husband.

Misako's parents had an arranged marriage and their relationship was rather cold and transitional at best. The nature of her parent's relationship is another reason why she was so taken with Souta and the Aizawa family. Their dynamic was so different from what she was used to and seeing how family orientated Souta was, made her fall in love with him all the more.

Misako continued to have a rocky relationship with her parents until Mio was born and then Shota shortly after. Her mother was taken with her grandchildren and was softer and sweeter with them than she ever had been with Misako. Shota ended up having a close connection with her and is the reason he has any sort of fluency in Korean.

the try guys, fellow ex-buzzfeed employees, had their own tv specials on food network (based off their youtube shows, btw) & a documentary made about them as well

rosanna pansino has also been on numerous food network shows both as a host & a judge

quinta brunsun, another fellow ex-buzzfeed employee, went on to create her own whole ass sitcom that has been highly praised

matpat cameo'd in the fnaf movie because of his theories & multiple other fnaf creators had small cameos through the employee of the month board easter egg

markiplier made multiple high-quality shows on youtube & is now working on a highly anticipated movie (he was also planned to cameo in the fnaf movie but couldn't due to conflicting schedules with his own movie)

hot ones got their own tv gameshow due to their popularity & they are still one of the most wellknown, beloved & respected internet shows

many short films made on youtube went on to premiere at film festivals & even in theaters

the hit horror film "talk to me" was created by youtubers rackaracka

webseries of actual fucking tv shows have also existed for literal decades

the list goes on.

to seriously think that overproduced bullshit is all you need to make "tv quality content" is not only tone-deaf, but shows they do not even know what they're talking about. many tv shows & huge blockbuster movies are made with absolutely microscopic budgets & small teams, & they still get praised & awarded for the passion, dedication, & creativity that shined brightly under those restrictions.

the blair witch project is probably the most wellknown & highly praised example of this, but it is far from the Only example

it is a whole other slap in the face, again ESPECIALLY when puppet history is one of their most popular shows, to spit in the face of internet history. to see the success of their predecessors, even ppl they fucking worked with at buzzfeed, & deny them of all their success & efforts to get where they ended up.

no, y'all are not the first people to make "tv quality content" on the internet. FAR from it. because your crap isn't even genuine "tv quality".

but you are the first ones to ever disrespect not only your audience, but your own fucking industry & your peers on this level.

The reason why I always emphasize that utrh era Jason is 18/19 and refuse to let people forget that Jason and Tim are canonically 2 years apart is because the concept of Jason as a fairly young adult with little to no support system is a fascinating concept to me and it goes under explored in both canon and fanon. I think it adds such an interesting wrinkle to the everything and is a great contrast to all the Red Hood shit. I’m thinking about New Earth Jason specifically here, he’s both younger than post-nu52 Jason and more isolated. Most people at 19, even if they can afford to be out on their own in this economy, still have contact with their family of origin for support. Jason is not only estranged from his family with little to no support system (depending on how much you interpret Talia being involved after Lost Days), he’s also doing mob boss shit while he’s still technically young enough to be somebody’s prom date. He didn’t go to his prom because he was probably in Russia learning how to make bombs or something (and because, yknow, the whole dying thing).

Jason is someone who both had to grow up too fast and by all means should be somewhat emotionally stunted. Not only does trauma stunt you he was catatonic for long enough that he’s missing literal years from his adolescence. He’s young enough that he’s still reeling from trauma from childhood and adolescence (late teens/ early twenties are peak ‘desperately trying to recover from childhood’ era).

I think underneath the rough Red Hood exterior that Jason should be naive in ways that people wouldn’t really expect. He doesn’t have much experience with relationships (both romantic and friendships), and it’s been years since he’s socialized much with people his age (he doesn’t socialize much at all he’s pretty isolated). I think even if he doesn’t look young that at times he would slip up and show that he is

Okay, so we know that Charles' polo goes red>burgundy>black and back by the end of the season.

Because there's so much going on, I always missed the exact transitions. This time I specifically tracked them down. (Apologies if this has already been done.)

Charles shirt is bright red through the majority of the Devlin House, even in Hope's Diary scene, when he opens up to Crystal.

Even when he first swings at Mr. Devlin and gets knocked back, his shirt is red.

The very subtle shift to burgundy is after he disappears and first reappears in the loop.

It remains burgundy throughout the entire lighthouse leapers episode and beginning of the two dead dragons.

I finally realized the very last moment we see of Charles in the burgundy is with Crystal. She tells him after the confusing makeout night, "But I think we should be friends," and kind-hearted Charles, of course, respects that and puts on a friendly smile.

It's difficult to see in the next scene with him because of his jacket, the angle he sits at on the ladder, and the lighting, but it's immediately after that when we first see him in the black polo.

My brother in death, you are NOT doing well.
