Can we PLEASE talk about the detail in the movie about how Snow’s dad died in the woods around District 12, because it’s making me insane. I think it was Dr Gaul who said something like he’s “lost in the trees” and I’m absolutely losing my mind over the layers of influence that moment in the forest had on Coryo.

Crassus Snow was lost in the woods of District 12 and was found again within his son. Because it was that moment of finding the guns and going after Lucy Gray that turned Coryo into his father. Where he rejected his mother’s goodness and the life he could’ve had with Lucy Gray and chose to carry out the legacy his father started with the hunger games. Snow lands on top.

anyone can make a zine, regardless of skill level or access to materials or design programs. all you need is paper, scissors and drawing utensils (although many people enjoy collaging!) web search "8 page 1 sheet zine how to".

everyone SHOULD make a zine too, you will feel so good about it ♡ it's about putting the power of production into the hands of the people! also you don't have to sell it or anything, you can just make one for yourself or trade/give some to friends!

i really love julia grofrer's guide to analogue self publishing aka making zines on 8.5x11 paper

and jaydragon/jdragsky's thread on staple's self serve print centres (if you're area does not have a local print shop, they probably have a staples or fedex print centre)

if you can't draw, here is twitter thread for public domain art and also a mini summary of when thing enter creative commons (generally 70 years after artist death in the US and CAD)

The beef between Pili and Clown is crazy cause why did Clown literally challange Pili to kill him after Pili said he likes a challange. Pili is 100% gonna take it seriously and actually try too (later than sooner probably) because he said Clown obviously doesn't see him as a threat which makes him want to do it even more

Also the way Pili threatens Ros and in return Clown threatens to kill Pangi if Pili does anything to Ros because he now knows that Pili cares more for Pangi's life than his own this is so sick I'm looking forward to see where this is going

It's fun how both of their weaknesses are other people and how they acknowledged and use that!!

And the only reason it gets this complicated is because nick is equally as incomprehensibly incommunicado

I think a TGAA modern AU would be incredibly funny purely because I think it's really funny to imagine someone in Sholmes's life having Twitter or Tumblr or something and complaining about his shenanigans all the time.

This would be even funnier if everything about TGAA is the same (including how Unbreakable Speckled Band went down), it just doesn't take place in Victorian England/Meiji Japan.

Can we talk about the detail that, in Caine’s quick flash introduction to the bandits, they all look the same? Same “model”- and then, when we get to meet them in the map, they’re all very much portrayed as their own individuals, with life and character? (Different body types, accessories, mannerisms, a story and a life hinted at, etc) My assumption was that was done purposefully, because it shows Caine just sees them as that, npc bandits.
