Small update!

So, I'm extremely amazed and lucky to have gotten lots of support on my art lately.. thank you so much ;; Admittedly I'm pretty behind on looking at the notifs, and notably for asks: i want to answer them all in a single post, so it will be a little longer til there's a response there. ive been playing modded minecraft and getting frustrated with not finding a good seed. i have my croissant sticker on my desk and i looked at them and went "croissant, pls help me find a good minecraft world to build a house in" and used their name as a seed and i got dropped near a bunch of strawberry bushes!! and a house!!! and a village!! idk what the rest of the world looks like, but croissant has given me a good start <3

I'm getting back to this so late and I'm not entirely sure how minecraft works but: I hope the world worked out! That sounds lovely!

There's an ai commercial that's playing on TV and like? It's families around a Thanksgiving dinner. They ai generated a commercial for something that I'm sure has thousands of hours of stock footage available. It was for a house selling service so I can't imagine many people using it to begin with

With an estimated active military personnel of 700,000 and a civilian base of 1,000,000 the NCR would not collapse so easily. If at all because of a bombing of their capital

There are enough *Actual* supporters of the NCR that quickly reorganize and regroup. Fallout NV makes it seem that there is a disproportionate amount of people who are in the army for money or conscripted, which is true but In reality there are diehard supporters for the NCR in California and outside of the Mojave. Many of the soldiers in the Mojave are just disillusioned and have little to no morale because of the legion and the environment of the Mojave. Shady Sands isn't the only city in the NCR. Redding, Roseville, Boneyard, Dayglow, The Hub, Junktown, Navarro, Sac-town, etc. The NCR isn't a petty faction where you kill the leader and or destroy the place they collapse and wither. The NCR is well organized, structural, Bureaucratic, has a Constitution and branches of government, Minted dollars and coinage, federal reserve, Industry, complicated and extensive trade networks, Anti Bigotry laws. The list goes on.

They are not perfect but I chose them over Elon musk, actual anarchism that is proven to not be effective for the Mojave, and a 14 year old edge lord's dream. (literally only enslaving women and being generally edgy as shit)

Edit: I know The brotherhood of shit isn't an endgame faction but I didn't mention them because they are laughable. In almost every game. I used to really like them and the legion, it's just maturing ig.

So many of the newer House MD fans are shocked by House's casual racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. remarks and microagressions, and all I can think is... did y'all forget that House is literally a Baby Boomer?

I know that you are seeing a 45-year-old man on your screen, but you should not expect Xennial values and behaviors from that man because the show is 20 years old. House was born in 1959. He would be 65 now.

So yeah, next time House shocks you by saying something offensive or making a joke that really didn't age well, just think "okay boomer" and move on. No need to twist yourself up in knots trying to analyze or explain it away -- his generation was just Like That.

In my first playthrough of new Vegas I didn’t really like the boomers all that much and left them alone but in my most recent playthrough I had a lot of fun doing their quests and after Boone and the Courier help the NCR secure Hoover Dam I like to think they head back to Nellis and live amongst the boomers
