small addition to my dad swap AU based off that one movie clip of the girls getting their names for the first time

lots of panels were traced directly from frames of the clip itself (and obviously, the final pic is drawn over this classic piece of official art) because I was probably never going to finish this otherwise

I’ve been binge watching videos about the RRB in multiversus because why not

And I haven’t seen someone mentione this yet but

In their losing animation Butch goes feral on Boomer which just leads to Brick needing to stop him, BUT I looked closer and Boomer was actually the first to tackle Butch while Brick just moved away, only stopping them when Butch started to fight back for being provoked

And Butch even takes a double glance at Brick after he’s told to stop before looking away upset, which I thought was interesting to see since Butch looked so confused for being told off. What was even more interesting was seeing how Brick only stood by Butch (sure he was looking at both of them angrily, but only standing besides Butch when it was Boomer who started it?)

I keep watching it and just wondering a bit more about their dynamic

(Edit: I’ve seen people mention how Butch is arguably the Joy and Laughter instead of the fighter and I’m realizing how much this just makes me think of Bubbles. ESPECIALLY since Butch seemed confused for defending himself, it just reminded me of Bubbles every time Buttercup or someone else would make her upset and leading her to crying or lashing out. Like in “all chalked up” Bubbles looks like she’s ready to yell or fight Buttercup for crushing her chalk, but instead she just runs away crying. This is practically close to that situation, Boomer makes Butch upset, but since he’s not the most emotional instead of being upset like Bubbles would he immediately lashes out and that leads him to fighting Boomer)

Their animations and dialogue omg... This is a dream come true for me. (My past with ppg/ppgz is so extensive it's crazy, it was my first fandom).

Brick is actually inside the shuttle with mojo and i think thats really cute makes you wish the girls got something with the professor where he dropped them off on the stage

So i need an explanation. No really i need one. Why is Boomer saying that? Bubbles didn't see what? WHAT YOU DON'T WANT HER TO SEE?? Multiversus you can't leave me like this!! Did he say that because he was clumsy and doesn't want to look lame in front of her? Did he say that because he was doing something bad and doesn't want to look that bad in front of her? The original fusionfall retro and legacy were cancelled i think but i think you can still play the retro. But currently i saw that there's people working on a new version that was going to be renamed: Saturday morning: invasion.
