October Baking 2024
Pumpkin Snickerdoodles - 5/5
Baked Apple Cider Donuts - 4.5/5
I had a BIG list of fall desserts I wanted to make this year and I'm still not done yet-
These snickerdoodles were amazing, really soft with a great flavor. The only problem was the dough's pretty sticky and difficult to roll/handle. I also didn't have...cloves? I was missing a couple spices for both of these and just threw in extra of what I had to make do, and it was fine. My palate is not that sophisticated.
NOTE: Add a little more flour, and maybe a little less salt.
The donuts were also very good, but not quite as flavorful as I would've wanted.
NOTE: It's going to take 200 years, but make sure to actually reduce the cider to the proper amount, future me. Maybe add more of the spices too.

Many many many many many years ago, I created some space pirates for a contest @tanginello was having on dA. Both characters were pretty heavily self-inserts, as you do, but last year I felt the urge to revisit them and finally make them into their own blorbos. I made this two months before I started playing BG3 and I think it's part of what gave me the comics itch.

Oreo Brownies - 4/5
I was too lazy to take a proper picture of these: they're fine. They're a lot. I used black cocoa and halloween oreos because I was excited the store had halloween oreos. The cook time was much longer than recommended and they tasted a little burned right out of the oven, but after they cooled they were good. I definitely need to cut them smaller next time-
