I have complained about this before and I'll complain agai #Before we get into the sad stuff with Yungmeng Jiang in the PD-MDZS comics lets have some lighthearted fun!#Remember that if anything bad happens to these Jiang disciples in the canon comic - they are happy in this AU B'*)#I think one of the funniest things about the teenxian dynamic is how WWX accidently finds things that get LWJ to feel flustered.#My guy wwx goes 'I'm going to lightly bully/tease this nerd 'cause his reactions are funny.' and LWJ goes “My god. He's everything to me.”#Part two of the fun part of this dynamic is that LWJ is ever so lightly self aware enough to LOATHE THIS CRUSH.#Hence why I have been marinating on this 'Accidental Lan headband miscommunication' concept.#This is how LWJ assumes that WWX knows what the band means in this AU. I like to think Stanley has photographic memory (is that what it's called?)

Like he's able to look at one thing and remember it to detail- if you ask him to describe someone he will give you full details that you wouldn't even consider because it's things he noticed..

He's especially food with faces which wouldn't be nice for a little kid- he'd remember each of his father's micro expressions and hold onto those. He'd remember vividly the way teachers looked at him and the things people said about him TO DETAIL. The day he listens in to the conversation of how he will be scraping off barnacles? The night he was kicked out?? He remembers EXACTLY how everything lookes and sounded..

Someone finds this out and Stanley becomes useful in the streets. He is asked what he saw in a certain place and he will describe it, he will remember and even draw a blueprint if you ask him- Some goons can ask him which way is safer and he'll just be like "well, if you went right here you'd be in the clear but up ahead it's more dangerous. Here, however, the guard looked shifty- big pupils and all. Definitely high- you'd be safer through there-" and so on.

I don't know :3 I just think it'd be fun if the guy with the best memory is the same guy that loses it (which would explain why he remembered right after too)

#chikorita #bald #and WELCOME TO GEN 2!! feels like we only just started with the new blog theme and yet here we are in gen 2 already #i remember back when it was still front-facing pokémon‚ it felt like it took FOREVER to get through a generation. but here we are #blitzing through gen 1. maybe it's just because i find a majority of gen 1 pokémon designs to be boring and uninteresting #so it flew by like that. but now we're starting to get into the guys i like #and this thing. well. this pokémon is divisive‚ to say the least #i feel like it's a love-it-or-hate-it type design #folks either hate the bean-shaped head and how it has No snout and its face is all flat #or they love it and think it's adorable #i think it's cute. tbh. i used to not like it #but it's kind of a silly creature and i like that about it #i've come around to it in recent years. especially since i think bayleef and meganium have much nicer designs

did a little sketch yesterday that i really liked and tried to get it done today just so i got literally anything to post- but i fell into the trap of 'making sketches to elaborate and thus really stiff and non fun' (for me), ... soooooo .. im redoing the whole thing

but the idea was a mummy ganondorf for my (yes still existing) totk rewrite; i wanted to make him more scary looking and also emphasize just how horrid it must be to be kept in between life and death by having your heart grabbed by a cold and vengeful magical hand for thousands of years (in this case the ancient queen .. which i also tried to sketch despite not showing up aside from her dissolving hand)

the spell starting to fail and his body being more damaged in some parts (jaw being only the bones left for example) and his chest open from being slowly eaten up by the queens magic, the ribs contorting around it like its a gravitational pull- sounds cooler than it looks bc this sketch did not work out, so im saving the details for the .. hopefully, better version
