Marge from my beach au + au info

STOP LIKING MY OLD BEACH AU POSTS THEYRE SO UGLY OMG😭

AU summary so far:

Beach au is based on the episode about Lisa’s birth that takes place in 1984, but I changed the timeline to the early 2000s to fit my personal aesthetic. The episode is supposed to be summer themed, but there’s nothing summer about it besides Homer and Marge watching the 1984 Olympics that took place that summer. So I therefore decided to create beach au, which is a completely summer themed timeline. Marge and Homer go on a vacation to a beach in Florida with their friends right before the birth of their second (and third) children. I’m pretty sure we’re going to add a cruise segment too soon but idk.

This au is entirely done by both me and MY FAVORITE HO EVER @jacqsprince ilysm vro🕊️🕊️

I’ll release more specific parts we wrote eventually lol but this is just my character info rn

Marge and homers info:

Marjorie Bouvier is 38 years old, she’s like 5 feet tall and French. (Well half French, her dad’s side). She’s married to Homer, has a son named Bart who is one, and is about to have twins (but she doesn’t know it quite yet).

Job-wise,she works at the mall. Despite being almost 40, she wants to go back to college and discover a career that would support her family better. She’s considering pursuing teaching. She was a model throughout her 20s, but is now retired and hates when people bring it up.

She’s French, (on her dad’s side) and it was the first language she learned until she had to learn English to go to school. She has two sisters and a brother and she’s very close with her brother. Her parents aren’t really part of her life tho.

She has several hobbies, including painting and sewing, but she also has a book club she leads along with principal Skinner and she likes going out bowling with her husband and supports his garage band :3

For Marge’s design I like to make her look very 2000s, since that’s when the flashbacks take place. Her hair down and curly suits the 80s stylization of the episodes, and as a personal preference I make her a little chubby since realistically after having a child she would not look like that, plus we need better representation for plus size people. Ngl I think Marge would be naturally ginger love me or hate me.

Homer Simpson is 36, he’s married to Marge Bouvier and works at the power plant still, although it’s further away now. He’s 6ft tall and has a lot of defining scars from his job at the plant. He’s southern bc he grew up on a farm with his family, and he’s kind of a hippie because that’s the only stuff his mom ever really taught him. He’s autistic (as in canon), and is REALLY into music. He has a garage band with a couple of his friends, and he also used to be famous just like his wife before they got married(barbershop quartet).

Homers backstory isn’t much different than in the show, just like Marge he has a bad relationship with his parents, his mother DID abandon him, as seen in canon. He still talks to his brother somewhat though. Homer definitely tries super hard with baby Bart to give him the childhood he didn’t have.

For homers 2000s design, I still keep it simple, but I added a lot more silly patterns and stuff bc it suits him well. He’d wear lots of graphic/band tees and jeans, also polos with shorts. Marge cuts his hair herself and he has a tattoo on his lower back, matching Marge. He doesn’t like it but got it because she didn’t want to do it alone :3. He also has his triple bypass scar from the season 5 episode.

it doesn't matter to the show whatsoever but i do have ideas for what happened to mr flynn and mrs fletcher. in my timeline mr flynn was abusive and linda left him when she was pregnant with phineas, and mrs fletcher died at some point. idk how. ferb was too young to remember her. i have not worked out how close she and lawrence were but she had green hair

phineas and ferb cure multiple cancers in 10th grade and make the patents open-source

one of my early internet friends turned the drummer in jeremy's band into an oc named hugo.... he was in a situationship with jenny that lasted well past their 30s

speaking of jenny i think she and django disappeared for a bit because their rich artist dad took them to. like. greece or something. for the remainder of the summer and theyre just living their best life on a veranda on the other side of the planet until the school year starts

phineas, ferb, and baljeet COULD graduate VERY early but they purposely stay in the same grade as their friends because they love them. once the acts/sats/ap exams come around though its over for you hoes.

candace and stacy went to horse camp (a week long program during the summer teaching kids to ride horses) every summer until high school. at which point they decided it was For Babies. but they're both still horse girls deep down.

since we know that jeremy has liked candace longer than she's liked him, i think he was a really shy kid. he was too nervous to even look at her some days. when she gave him that pencil that one time, he didn't even say anything. he broke out of his shell later and became a friendly young man but candace still made him nervous. etc etc.

xavier and fred are movie buffs. they're usually logging one film per day. if letterboxd still exists on the future their profiles would be legendary.

jeremy picked the name fred. he was fine with candace already having names picked out, but once they found out they were having twins, she texted him a link to a baby name website and told him to pick his favorite. He picked Fred.

jeremy has written an entire album about candace and its all shit that sounds like Chasing Cars and candace LOVES IT

stacy interning at owca is how she meets her girlfriend vanessa and also how she meets her future wife in uruguay

buford and isabella have ice cream romcom sleepovers and nobody else is invited this is THEIR bonding time

highschool crush jiseok UGHWRGRWGOGIJ HELLO?! he's more like a hallway crush though, always busy with his friends or practicing with his band. you knew each other and there were no hard feelings - you just never really talked too much to each other. once or twice he'd ask you for homework or you'd always say hi whenever you saw each other. but nothing more.

that was until, with you both being the school ambassadors, you got paired up to welcome an important guest in your school. some kind of professor with media staff: so an important task indeed, you had to showcase the best traits of your school.

so you and jiseok started hanging out more to prepare everything you wanted and make a plan. he was sooo silly, easily bringing you out of the shy shell you were in. you started talking more, he even invited you to one of the band practices. even though you found him playing the guitar extremely attractive, his friends noticed how nervous he was (and all the small mistakes he made due to that. but they ignored it, having in mind his slowly growing crush on you).

when the day came, you and jiseok decide to wear matching sweaters in representative colors of your school. it all goes smoothly, you send each other encouraging looks and nods. the professor seems pleased, happy with your presentation. at the end, you take a picture with him and jiseok.

you hoped it would stay that way after it ends – you’d stay friends with him. and luckily, you do. everyday you wait for the material to drop and when it does, jiseok runs up to you in the hallway.

"y/n, look! the wrote and article and posted a reel about our school!" he said with a grin and showed you the video. you smiled upon seeing your faces on the screen and then opened the comments.

and your heart sped up upon reading them. 'omg they look like a cute couple!', ‘that was such a genius choice to make such a sweet couple represent the school!'

"what’s wrong?" he asked and glanced at the phone. your cheeks were a blushing mess when jiseok read the comments too.

"they think we’re dating…" you mumbled and saw the tips of his ears redden too. not wanting to make it more awkward, you ran away with an incoherent squeak.

the next days were quite awkward, you tried to avoid jiseok. you were thinking how to approach him, how to act normal around him.

and once, after class, jiseok ran up to you before you could leave. your eyes widened when you saw him place a box of chocolates on your desk.

"i figured… i’d say thank you. you know, for helping me with the presentation and everything. sorry if i made you uncomfortable… you’ve been avoiding me and i don’t know…" he mumbled and your heart melted upon the sad pout on his lips. you grabbed the chocolates and let out a small gasp.

"how… how did you know those are my favorite?" you asked quietly.

"i mean, wouldn’t it be weird if i didn’t know the favorite chocolates of the girl i like?" he scoffed, trying to look nonchalant. but in his mind he was screaming at his own stupidity, why– why did he say that? he was supposed to approach you calmly and–

"what?" you stood up, eyes glued on him "you like me?"

"yeah, woah, i… who said that?" he joked, rising his hands. but seeing how serious you are, he just sent you an awkward smile "i… do… well, it hit me when i was reading all the comments saying we look like a couple and i don’t know…"

you fought back a smile and took a deep breath.

"even my friends thought we were dating at one point but… now that it’s out, i don’t want to push you into anything or–" he started stumbling over his own words when you scooted closer, putting your hand on your arm. he looked around nervously, eyes wide "what?"

"i’ve had a crush on you for a while as well" you mumbled "that’s why i was avoiding you lately, im sorry"

you leaned in and pecked his cheek. blushing covered his whole face – from ears to neck.

"let’s go on a date after school, hm?" you asked, tilting your head. jiseok was nodding energetically, unable to mutter a single 'yes'. before he could react and realize what happened, you already left him behind <3
