Kay, so I kinda lied in my last post about how that was my last Randy x Sharon post, THIS art right here will genuinely be my last post featuring these two together for a little while.

At this point, these two are literally my drug fr fr 🤭

Summer has finally arrived, y’all are probably out of school by now, everyone’s heading to the beach or a waterpark to cool off, and the heat is going to be literal hell, so that means I’ll be drawing some more fanart related to the season in the future.

I was planning on doing something like this for Mermay, but wasn’t really sure on what the drawing would look like, and I semi-abandoned the project for a bit until I was able to think of the perfect idea for it. At first I was gonna draw Randy as a merman alongside Sharon, but decided against it and settled on the whole, “Mermaid x Human” trope that I’m a huge sucker for and love to death.

So now I made him a degen simp sailor who just wants some of that mermussy/j

I had so much fun working on Sharon’s mermaid design. Wanted to go for a tropical core/coconut girl look for her (two aesthetics that I discovered a while back and immediately fell in love with), just the fins, the tail, the flower in her hair, and flower bracelet are literally everything, I friggin’ love her sm- 🥹

And also her, “so done with this bs” look is just the whole mood. Though I mostly liked how Sailor Randy turned out. The heart eyes paired with the animesque nosebleed is giving me so much Sanji vibes haha

Gonna be drawing some more mermaid fanart soon to make up for my Mermay absence, though it’ll just be a few characters, because I don’t really have much ideas for other characters at the moment :P
