Is it ok to make a request after the last one? Like everything about the eloping was just a dream in this one. And Mc is still married to Cove but after getting that nightmare they get all guilty over something that didn't happen and fear if they'd actually do something that would hurt everyone, especially Cove that badly. So they decided to isolate themselves somewhere no one would find them for a while with little explanation to Cove when they leave. Any location really like a cabin in the woods idk. They were supposed to be only there for a week then a woopsie happens and now they get stranded for more than a week. You're choice on how it ends and whether they tell Cove or not about the dream.

you wake up in a cold sweat that night.

you're shaking and trying not to wake up cove because his arms are wrapped tightly around you but you can't help the tears running down your face.

somehow you shake yourself from your husbands hold and go to the bathroom to cry...

that morning you're very distant, and since cove has to leave for work as he's been away for awhile for your wedding and honeymoon, he just kisses you and tells you that you will talk later.

when he comes home you sit him down and tell him that you've just going through a bit of depression and burn out, and that you're going to go visit lee for a week and come back.

cove frowns up, of course he understands what you're going through and he understands that things are hard but do you really need to go away?

"y/n, please. i understand you're going through something but, can't you stay? isn't there anything i can do for you?"

you shake your head, "i'm sorry, it's just 5 days and then i'm coming back. i just.. i just need some time."

cove feels a bit angry now, you just got married and everything was fine, you were happy yesterday and now you've done a total 180 overnight and won't let him help you!

"y/n you can't just leave, i really don't understand what's going on."

you shake your head, standing up and releasing your intertwined hands. "i just need a little break, i promise i'll be back soon."

you do go visit lee like you said, but after the 2nd day she leaving town for a show.

"i'm gonna miss you!" lee squeezes you in her arms, not wanting to let you go. "you just showed up, its gonna be forever before we see each other~" lee whines.

you laugh, patting her back. "its okay lee, we'll get together soon."

she pulls away, needing to leave soon if she doesn't want to miss the train. "okay.. i'll call you everyday! have fun on the rest of your trip, okay?" a worried look comes on lee's face, taking your hand in a soothing manner. "i hope you can work through that burn out."

you nod. yeah, burn out...

lee sticks her hand out the window, waving the whole way (thank god someone else is driving) until you can't see each other.

you sigh, walking to your car and make your way to the hotel you booked for the rest of the week...

the beach reminds you of your honeymoon... you aren't sure why you're torturing yourself like this.

you sigh, thinking about the dream. well, nightmare to be correct.

there was nothing inherently scary. but since it was from a first-person point of view, your mouth moving out of tune with your thoughts and everything happening so vividly, it was scary enough.

you feel tears well up in your eyes as you think about everyone's reaction.

would your ma really tell you to stay away from the house like that? and lee.. you can't imagine not talking to her.

fuck, you're crying... just thinking about everyone's disappointment and the scorn on everyone's face is enough to send chills down your spine.

you cringe, thinking about cliff and krya, their messages and how cliff looked so distraught when he saw you when he came for the last of cove's things on your nightmare.

you couldn't bare your in-laws hating you. cliff has always been someone important to you, and now he's your father-in-law. he's a sensitive soul as well, and he loves cove so much. of what had happened was real... oh man, the simple idea of how much regret cliff would have makes your body shake with sobs.

and even though you try not to think about cove's reaction to you leaving, its so prominent in your mind.

you start wiping at your tears, even though there's no one around since this is a little edge of beach off the edge of a hiking trail near your hotel, you feel so ridiculous for crying over this.

you sniffle and go to stand up.

it's getting dark, you've off the trail, and you have an early day tomorrow.

the only problem is... you're a bit lost.

you didn't realize how far you were. you're back on the trail but do you go left or right? does it matter if it all leads back to the hotel?

you swallow, you're so fucked.

everything is just going wrong.

first, you get lost on the shitty trail and don't find your way back until daybreak, and now your car isn't starting up, and the mechanic said it'll be a few days before they get it up and running.

you sigh loudly and fall back into the bed. thankfully, the hotel let you extend your stay so at least you have that going for you...

you startle from the sound of your phone ringing... it's cove.

you hesitate to pick up, you still feel sensitive, but you miss cove, and you've already texted him about the situation for the most part..

"hey, cove.."

"y/n! are you okay?" cove's worried voice crackles over the phone.

"yeah, i'm alright, uh.. listen, cove."

you trace the stitch pattern of the quilt on your bed. "apparently, it'll be a few days before the car is up and running. something about a busted something, i don't know what he said. i wasn't, uh, paying attention very well..."

cove sighs. "y/n... I'll come get you or something, and then we can talk about this, okay?"

you feel your heart pick up. "no! th-theres no need for all that, you just hold down the fort, tell the fish I said hi." you laugh shakily.

you can practically hear the frown in his voice. "y/n. why did you go on this trip, seriously. what are you hiding from me?"

cove's voice is rising and cracking with tears at the same time.

it breaks your heart. you can't answer him and it just makes cove more upset.

"do you regret marrying me or something? is that why-!"

"no!" you exclaim. suddenly regretting your outburst but you can't help but deny it since that's not it and you don't want cove to think that...

"then fucking tell me!" cove is obviously crying at this point. "all I know is my spouse left for a 'break' and is now telling me they don't want me to pick them up? be fucking serious y/n!"

you exhale shakily, wiping your own tears.

"i'm sorry..." you whisper, burying your face in your hand.

"sorry for what, y/n? leaving me after we just got married? lying to me? shutting me out?"

cove's voice is deep and his words have an edge.

he's right though, what are you apologizing for? you're acting out and letting your problem consume you...

there's silence, and then cove mutters over the phone.

"... do you not love me anymore?"

you snap up, sliding off the edge of the bed as you snatch up the phone. "no! it's not that! don't say that!" you cry, "I love you so much, cove! don't even think otherwise!"

cove is silent. since you can't see his face you can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

"you know what i... i can't take this right now. I'll call you later."

the phone clicks.

now all you're left with is silence and your own thoughts...

when you finally come home it's 11:47 at night.

cove should be asleep but instead he greets you from the door.

you swallow, psyching yourself up to go to him.

something about the way he watches you from the moment you came into view on the street, to watching you pull your bags out the trunk and then maintaining eye contact (more like boring holes into you since you can't look him in the eye.) as you creep up the pathway to the door of your marital home.

he's silent. just watching. no "hi" or "I love you" or "I missed you, I barely survived while you were gone", just.. silence...

you finally look at him. his eyes are hooded with lack of sleep if the eye bags are any tellers, and yet he stands in front of the illuminated doorway like an unmoveable wall.

your heart skips and clenched. what if he doesn't want to let you back in?

you go to speak and he talks over you.

"was it worth it?"

you gape at him, frowning at his question.

"of course you can't say anything. what did I expect..." cove pinches his temples between his thumb and forefinger.

you gather up some words, uselessly trying to grasp for forgiveness.

"i.. i thought it'd be better if i worked things out on my own... i'm sorry.." you fiddle with the keychain on your luggage. "i shouldn't have done that and uh.. I'll deal with my problems without running away.."

cove watches you blankly. he can't believe you're serious.

"you're not gonna tell me, are you?"

you don't nod or shake your head. you just look at the ground and pray he forgives you.

he stands in front of the door for awhile longer, before he takes your luggage, a little more like snatching it since he grabs it by the side of the handle and tugs it out of your hands, pulling you forward.

"come inside. did you eat?"

you gape a bit, wondering how cove can care for you in a time like this but it reminds you more of a mother who's making sure her naughty child doesn't need anything else before they receive their punishment..

you shake your head. "i'm not hungry right now.."

cove doesn't nod or insist you eat like he normally would. "shower and go to bed then. I'll join you later."

you nod, letting cove's orders sink in.

the bath water is getting cold. and the sound of the echoed sound of water clapping against the edge of the tub makes you self-conscious.

you stand up, letting the water run off of you and robotically dry yourself with a towel before slipping into the clothes cove threw on top of the sink for you.

when you slip out of your bathroom, the bedroom is dark except for the moonlight coming through the window.

you tenderly tuck yourself into bed and close your eyes. waiting for something. anything. maybe for everything to become undone or for time to move past this.

just while you start to get deep into your thoughts, tears pooling in your eyes, cove's footsteps thump against the floor, and you halt your breath, waiting for the other shoe to drop.

the bed dips on his side. you don't feel him leaning over you or getting into bed and so you turn around, looking at the broad expanse of his back and waiting.

"you're not gonna tell me, are you?"

you say nothing.

"not what's wrong? what happened? how can I help?" cove's desperate at this point. "nothing?"

you pause, fingers twitching because you want to reach out to him but if you did he'll just shrink away from you for sure.

"I don't know.." you finally mumble.

cove hangs his head, fiddling with something in his hand and he lays down without looking at you, flipping over once he's gotten under the covers.

you're both awake, there's no way he isn't and you touch his back.

he doesn't flinch like you thought, nor shake or tell you to fuck off.

so you creep closer. maybe that's a bad idea, wrapping your arms around him as the worst he can do is reject you but you missed him. and everything is eating you up that you just want his comfort..

he let's you, surprisingly.

you rest your forehead between his shoulder blades, curving your body against his.

you reach for his hands, finding them clenched weakly around something.

you wanna shake and cry when you realize it's his wedding band...

he let's you take it from him, and he holds onto your other hand that's tucked under his body.

you shakily slip the ring back on his finger.

maybe, maybe one day you'll tell him.

but when the next morning comes, and cove greets you with a bright smile and "good morning" that only has half his usual cheer, and he continues it for weeks until months have passed since then and it's as if nothing happened, you aren't sure you ever will.

“Todays finally the day!” Haruka smiles to herself as she gets ready for her morning run. ‘I get to spend all day with Minami and then a tea party with Towa? A real princess! Its going to be the best day ever!’ She claps her hands and smiles running out the door hurrying to the agreed meeting point.

Minami looks around seeing Haruka before waving to her. “Good morning Haruka. I’m glad we finally get a chance to do this its been so long since i had a chance to go on a good run.” The older girl nods at her girlfriend. “Ready to go?”

“I am too i love spending time with you.” Haruka blushes and pokes her fingers together. “O-oh yeah i’m ready to go!” She smiles before feeling a twinge in her abdomen. ‘I forgot to use the bathroom this morning ahhhh! I can’t ask to go now ill just have to go after our run its not that bad anyway.’ She blushes a little harder and the two begin there run.

Awhile into the mostly silent run Minami breaks the silence. “Are you excited for the tea party later? I know you’ll be very adorable in your princess dress.” Her voice is sweet as is the smile on her face. “I guess i should ask is it a ‘little’ tea party or a little tea party.” She air quotes little causing Haruka to blush.

“I-its a ‘little’ tea party its hard for me to stay big when I’m in my princess dress. Plus Towas a real princess and thats just the best~” She sighs dreamily before jumping a bit. “B-b-but you’re my favorite princess Mommy…I mean Minami!” She sighs a bit embarrassed to have slipped so easily. She winces that pressure in her bladder growing. ‘Almost there i’m okay!’

Minami giggles a bit. “I know i’m your favorite but nothing beats the real deal.” The two approach the school. “When we get back we can change and meet in your room and you can show me your new book youre so excited about.” Minami smiles at the Auburn haired girl.

Haruka’s eyes light her need to pee the last thing on her mind. “Yes yes yes please!” Her pace speeds up as they pass the school gates. “Ill see you in my room Minami!” She calls hurrying to her room to change. ‘Gonna show her my princess book~’ She hums to herself opening the door when Minami knocks. “Mo-Minami! Come in please.” She curtsies her little princess coming out.

“Why thank you Haruka shall we read?” She pulls Yui’s chair over to Haruka’s desk sitting down and patting the other chair. “You can even read to me. Since youre the princess expert.” She smiles at her little princess.

“Y-yes please!” Haruka sits in her chair getting her new book out starting to read aloud. “Lookie at there dresses Minami theyre so pretty!” She crosses her legs under her desk. Her bladder once again throbbing a signal. ‘Were reading body lemme have fun with mommy!’ She thinks to herself.

“Theyre very pretty but i like your dress more honey.” Minami kisses Harukas cheek causing the girl to blush.

“Th-thank youuuu that means so much coming from you.” She keeps reading when she suddenly stops and winces making a small whimper. “Mo-mommy?” Theres a small hissing noise as she stands up wet yellow trails flowing down her legs. “I-i had an accident…” She tears up and looks down at her wet dress and the wet stain spreading across the carpet.

Minami looks surprised for just a second before standing up starting to comfort the girl. “Oh oh princess its okay. It happens sometimes.” SHe kisses harukas forehead calming the younger girls sniffles. “Let mommy clean you up and then we’ll get you some…special princess pants how does that sound.” She smiles very gently making sure everything is okay with Haruka before anything.

Haruka grabs Minami’s hand and looks down at her wet spot. “A-are they diapers?” Haruka whimpers not wanting to be embarrassed in front of Towa later. The pink haired princess wears diapers herself but Haruka always felt she was a bit older in little space.

“They are special princess diapers kind of like Towa.” Minami smiles wiping Haruka’s eyes. “I promise you’re still a big girl. I just want you to be able to relax today. I think you got too excited and put it off too long this time.” Minami squeezes haruka’s hand comforting. “Lets go get you changed princess.” Haruka nods following her mommy still deeply embarrassed but feeling okay with Minami there.

first up, who’s the back up? luffys mentioned the backup a few times and I cant help but wonder who it is. if thats a major spoiler than you dont have to answer but considering your love for this one guy i kinda think its sabo or the rev army. either that or like traffy. it would be funny if it was sabo though because of koby’s brief jealousy of how luffy was talking about him.

this might be just me as an aot fan overanalyzing everything but I feel like that devil fruit in the beginning was something important and so was the auction in broad daylight.

also ive seen a lot of fics where kobys favorite food is buttered potatoes but i think yours is the first where his favorite food is downright plain butter. the guys a psychopath for that. like why would you do that. where did you even get the idea.

And yes. Koby’s a psycho. He eats straight up butter—and said it tastes better when dipped in sugar. I got this weird headcanon from my bestie who also happens to eat butter sticks. You do you, but please, not in front of me. Besides the point—for some reason I decided to implement that onto Koby. I have a habit of weirdifying characters.

As for the RyMeppo question… I seriously never expected people to love this ship so much wtf. In Chapter 5, Helmeppo is completely unaware of his very obvious crush on (B)Ryan. He thinks he hates Ryan, when it’s obvious it’s more than that. As of Chapter 10, however, the moron is 10000% aware of how he feels. He and Ryan’s relationship is really fun to write with the constant bickering/flirting. I never intended them to be a romantic relationship, but alas, that’s where it headed.

And the KobyLu questions! Yay! Koby definitely fell first and he fell hard—don’t think anyone could fall harder if they tried. As for Luff: he knows how he feels about Koby. Buddy went to Sanji’s school of flirting and failed the classes spectacularly yet tried showing off his grades to Koby. He’s made it very clear how he feels—Koby, unfortunately, is just too damn dense. Luffy could yell “I LOVE YOU” to Koby and he would probably think Luffy meant platonically. He gets his density from me, of course, I’m the exact same way.

hiii sorry if youve been asked this before, but i love how loose and flowy your art feels, especially the sketches! are there any specific inspirations to your work/do you do any specific studies to get that feeling? im trying to loosen up my own work and im sure a lot of it is just the time and practice, but im always looking for tips from artists i admire :D

I thinkk artists wise it was Claire Wendling who made me really wanna invest more time in line art! Ofc there's a lot of other infulences, my work looks nothing like hers, but it was like, the turning point of "oh. Man. You can really do so much with just line". People have said a couple times that my work reminds them of Egon Schiele. I wasnt familiar w him before that but I defi have let him infulence me even more after that.

AS FOR TIPS AND TRICKS. It's gonna defi depend a lot on your drawing practices. Im personally someone who draws a shit ton really fast, and sometimes returns to old work afterwards to makw some small corrections. I think tho these things affected me:

Getting materials for practice that are just, not worth anythimg so you dont stress about ruining them. Get some cheap ass paper and pens and just draw.

Draw w markers w/out sketching. It's really tough but it'll help you build more confidence. Do this pretty fast too. Things will look weird, tilted, off proportionally, but a) its practice b) in a couple of days you may find yourself drawn to these features. Theyre raw, honest and experimental and FUN.

Croquis!!!!! Live models are great, but so are videos/images. Unfortunately the vids at croquis cafe have been swiped off of yt & turned members only on their website... i am kinda concidering getting a membership bc they are fan fucking tastic videos... but image wise sketchdaily is a site that has timed photos for you to draw from. Yes, try the 10 second type stuff too. Not just that, just, try the full range of times possible. Shorter times force you to relax your hand and just go mindlessly without worrying abt "mistakes"

I think "mistakes" is important here. Ive had to learn that there is no one way to do art. Sometimes you will draw a hand way too big proportionally, but it makes the art more fun, cool/stylized, etc. I actually have some mild motoric clumsiness, and i think if you work w it, it can make for art ppl find endearing like in my case! I even sometimes lean into this, like by holding my pen in a childlike grip, to get a fun feel. It's all just experimentation and a shit ton of studies.

this is literally verbatim what tyreen says at the pyre of stars and i want you to read it and tell me this is a) someone who hated their brother and only saw him as a means to an end or b) someone who is making calm rational non-self destructive descisions after the death of said brother

also, through the whole next cutscene, tyreen keeps saying stuff like “you kept us here” and *the universe should have been ours” like shes STILL including troy even though hes dead

from the point troy dies right until the end of the game, every time tyreen calls to taunt you she not only sounds more distant and tired, but actively malicious too. previously, when troy was there and adding to it, it felt almost fun and goofy, but after that shes very clearly lost whatever fun she got out of this, now shes simply out for blood and is going to take everyone down with her

actually, the more i think about it, the more i feel like she starts acting more like troy after he gets mayas powers

like, after he kills her and gains something that puts him on par with his sister, not only is he more outgoing and making rash descisions, but he even outright tells you that tyreen thinks this is all just a game but he wants to kill you right there and then so the raiders arent meddling as much

tyreen thinks the vault hunters attacking them is a fun thing to raise viewer count, troy thinks they should eliminate the threat while they still can, troy dies, and suddenly tyreen isnt joking anymore

but anyway, tldr, the calypsos care abt each other v much albeit in weird and unhealthy ways, theyre far more interesting than jack ever was, and people who woobify troy while condemning tyreen for the exact same thing should take a good hard look at that mentality

and to anyone who would be like “uh well if you listen to this echo log you can clearly tell tyreens manipulating troy” blah blah blah, actions speak louder than words and i hope ive explained why tyreens actions (and also words) after troys death show that she cared about him very much

This makes me think that the way Ishiro and Taiya met probably happened as Ishiro was attempting to obtain information on Raitas company. Taiya was in charge of "delivery" at the time and Ishiro was trying to intercept it... i can see something like this being the case! Also, all this stuff hes saying to the team does sound like stuff he found out himself rather than something hes heard from Taiya. Way to go, informant~

Powering up the Kurumajus on the second lap is gonna make the fights stay fresh and interesting~

The special boonboom change is here!!!! Ahhh it was so cool!! It was really cool!!! The charm of the changer toys really came out! I love a dynamic transformation, and the maskless action was so good this week too!!! I watched it a lot!!

Also! The sequences of the Boonboomgers fighting the Nejiretta while dodging the civilians coming at them was so incredible (Taiya voice:) im in love with it! (Here it is in a gif i crudely made cause a still image isnt good enough.)

I looooove a friendly fire episode, its always such good fun to see the heroes fight eachother because their different styles and techniques shine a lot~ the fact that they were consciouss throughout was really good.

Speaking of which, i really loved that Bunblue and Bunorange ended up fighting eachother a lot, theyre well matched! It was an exciting fight scene, plus i loved seeing them wrestle hehe~

It took you 11 episodes to correct her… This is just the way Mira holds her steering wheel, Taiya! (Incorrect). Also, nothing was ever gonna happen to the car but you could feel the efforts everyone (controlled or not) went to not get the cool car scratched (lol)

This was a really cool method to fight the signal… i just really love the "b-b-b-boom", its just like gotchards newest "g-g-g-gorgeous!"… parents in every household went into despair this week because of what was going to happen (thank you for your sacrifice…)

I loved the way Taiya behaved in front of Raita… it has that kind of child-like energy that he only shows in front of Bunchan, it easily clued you in on the type of dynamic they have, and it was really cute. Just a young adult whos trying to prove himself, its very "Red" like isnt it? Im sorry Raita, i thought youd end up being some kind of suspicious person but it turns out youre very nice!!

STAR TREK UPDATE TIME. last night we finished off the third season of ds9 with "facets" and "the adversary."

FINALLY some good fucking food re dax. oh finally finally finally. i absolutely loved this episode start to finish. 10/10 no notes. well no i have two notes 1. it's hilarious that they included leeta bc they didn't have enough characters for all of dax's lives 2. i wish we didn't on-purpose forget that crazy mf who kidnapped her in that one episode...where was he. anyway, aside from those two things, literally perfect

gonna start with the b-plot - nog finally passing his starfleet exams was such a huge fucking deal and it was an even BIGGER deal to me that rom - rom, who initially almost stopped his own kid from going to school because of his brother's influence/ferengi culture in general - got so mad on his kid's behalf he yelled at quark NOSE TO NOSE. not only that, he had a uniform commissioned from garak at a high expense...his son is more important than even MONEY and GOOD FOR HIM!!! my new friend rom.

i'm trying haaard with quark - i liked his scenes in the a-plot - but him fucking with the test is just so horrible. i am begging for even a scrap of character development or even just likability. why can't his schemes and shenanigans be something that doesn't cause emotional harm to other people?? he did a lot of that in the first two seasons, what happened??

anyway, it's cosmic justice that dax assigned him hairbrushing and pregnancy talk in her little ritual. at first i was like i can't believe theyre not gonna make him curzon because he's an asshole and so was curzon but this episode was so enlightened

actually, i had a little spoiler going into this episode. one day i was gooling pics of curzon bc i couldn't remember what he looked like and was so shocked to see ODO! i was like damn is odo mimicking curzon, i thought it was dr mora, what manner of backstory...but then i happened to see the summary for the episode later (i try not to read them, but it happens) and was like ohhh. and it turned out to be perfect

like, the picks for everyone were great - maybe o'brien as tobin was a little mean, that could have also been quark lol - kira was such a perfect feminist trill even with her little voice and sisko made an AMAZING joran (his fakeout was SO fun and i love when sisko calls jadzia old man) but you can't get more perfect than curzon and odo

like, theyre both assholes who go too far sometimes, though obviously they're different KINDS of assholes - odo's grumpiness in generally more benevolent, though not always, and curzon's is much more hidden under charm. they're also both PINING! what a plot twist. it actually explains so much (why he asked for her despite expelling her) and it's like...yeah, jadzia was an adult, but the age difference still made it kind of inappropriate, and he knew enough to know that. and rene auberjonis can play that kind of tortured wish-i-didn't-love-you angst PERFECTLY

and even though he's an asshole, you didn't feel like jadzia's sympathy for him was misplaced, because he obviously did his best to make amends (important!!) and suffered over it a great deal - that his own inappropriate behavior almost cost jadzia something she'd worked her whole life for, and it was nearly a mistake that couldn't be undone. you felt like he actually HAD a wake-up call, unlike a lot of the characters in tng or in a recent case voy who were only sad and made excuses so THEY could feel better without actually attempting to correct course for someone ELSE'S sake. i liked curzon a lot, he had a lot of nuance

also, i gotta talk about odo. since curzon and odo's personalities are so different, it actually makes total sense why they'd want to stay joined...odo gets to be free and easy around others, and curzon gets the joys of being a changeling. odo's rigid personality doesn't complement his abilities as a changeling very well, but curzon's personality kind of does??

curzon sisko reunion was so good too. sisko pointing vaguely at him to an amazed and speechless jake going oh you remember curzon ha ha and getting sort of dragged out of the room. they're SO funny and i love sisko scenes so much

and of course sisko's scenes with JADZIA! i feel like i understand her so much better now...firstly, she's had this sort of sassy personality for a few episodes, so i'm wondering if we are finally sticking with that one? but then she also has this deep-seated insecurity underneath there which could kind of explain away some of her reserved rigidity in earlier seasons - her whole deal enrolling kind of traumatized her, and her "real" personality is starting to shine now that she's healing? all conjecture/headcanon, but i could get used to sassy jadzia! it feels great that she has actual conflict and stuff to say and like, a pretty fun sense of comedic timing also

and now that her character has started to appeal to me i can see how lovely it is that curzon was once sisko's mentor and now sisko is mentoring jadzia on how to confront curzon...also they fucked twins once. and fucked in the mirrorverse. there's so much to unpack. it's a complex fun relationship that i've always LIKED but am only just now starting to APPRECIATE

anyway, wonderful stuff, 10/10

the adversary:

MY BEST FRIEND ODO. "no changeling has ever harmed another" are such fun arc words and i was hoping he'd be the first and he WAS. i think that other changeling technically attacked him first but whatever. it was what i wanted and i GOT IT and he was so fucked up after <3

sisko's promotion!! i always wondered when they'd get around to making him captain, it was always bonkers to me that he started as a commander. he is still ROCKING that beard also but i do pre-emptively miss his hair. also, sisko taking jake's drink at the toast when he tried to steal too much. priceless. he has such dad energy

dax teasing sisko about his baseball gf..........i love this so much for them. i love that he gets a baseball gf and i love that everyone gossips about it behind his back. i also love how much glee everyone took in calling him captain for the rest of the episode. his besties love him so much.........................

changeling plot was so fun because i THOUGHT it was weird for julian to be crawling around in that little hole but the close-up on obrien had me CONVINCED he was the one and ofc also that one traitor guy was there too and he's super squirrelly. so it kept me GUESSING

i do think it's really funny that they used this nice civilized hypo to draw blood though - firstly, it's less secure, because the changeling was able to swap samples, but secondly, on s*pernatural they would have been cutting each other up INSTANTLY. straight across the palm like idiots. they're so fucking civilized in the 2300s.

the return of the self-destruct codes!!!!!!!!!!! GOD THAT WAS SO METAL. everyone went very calmly to their almost certain deaths too.

the fact that kira was the first to ask after odo after he went, sorry, NONVERBAL, and showed up in the meeting room.......that's romance. r, well, it's not but i'll take it and happily.
