My heart soars when Bruce is written well. I think you’re able to capture this side of Bruce so well in LOF. People who reduce Bruce to a guy who “goes out punching poor people at night” hurt my soul

i love myself a nuanced and still loveable character. it's actually so important to me that i write them with their mistakes without making them into people that just don't feel like heroes anymore. THIS is the bruce wayne that my dad told me about growing up, the one that uses all of his means to help people and keeps an open mind about the ones that they're stopping. like yes, he does have a problem with pushing that moral code onto people sometimes but in my eyes that's not the worst thing he could do. some writers forget that pushing the moral code onto somebody else doesn't have to involve bruce getting violent or hurting them just for disagreeing, and that's where i believe they do wrong the most. his relationship with his kids make me sick (/pos) and i just feel like highlighting that a realistic depiction of a good dad is someone that can make mistakes, and own up to them in order to get better

everytime gem mentions impulse and pearl I get really,,,, I think the word is uncomfortable?

It may be a fun storyline but i get so,, weird when a character is very clearly wanting someone to have a bad reputation with others instead of it happening gradually. Gem even says that impulse hasn't really done anything to her and joel, and yet,,,

not to mention the fact that the only thing Pearl did to gem was trying to get her to eat the cobblestone wall, which yes, would've poisoned her, but also was clearly for funzie's and something that multiple people had done in session 2 at that point, and maybe, maaybbee, be alittle agro with impulse during the cow stuff in session 1? but I,,, i have my own thoughts on that. Anything else is from the last season, and while referencing a past season is very fun, having a whole bias because of one makes me,,,, blah. It's not a bad thing, it's a fun storyline ngl, It just makes me,,, like,,, kinda ill,,,(and not in the "I'M ILL /POS" way,,,) like a,,, weirdly physical ill??? It's so weird to say because,,, I'm completely talking about the characters, I think CC gem is amazing, and really funny for this ngl, but stars above, the character makes me sick feeling.

Also, the fact that multiple other people have been,, eh,, meaner? to "The Family" and instead of also being rival's, enemies,,, not friendly?? with them, they are constantly trying to ally with them in a way. Biggest point is martyn, First session he killed one of their cows to try and force them into a trade, and it worked(kinda)! AND IT WAS IMPULSES COW!!! so ya,,, the fact the entire thing that,,, that was,, just vanished in her thoughts of them is,,, gvbiufhdbkgudfljnrioghdfjk

It's so interesting,, Fascinating, I love it, I hate it, It makes me sick, it's on a C!Scott level of interesting, WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!!!!

There's a weird level of nostalgia that I feel towards what C!gem is doing,,,, It,,, reminds me of a different,,, smp,,,, anyways

She's actively and constantly saying, especially to others, that Impulse and Pearl(But not Scott and Cleo) are basically the villains, that they should be harmed, die and such, to go after them. She tells Skizz to try and kill impulse actively, joel and her give him advice. She says something to Ren, Martyn, and Etho aswell(and I'm 90% sure there's more, i just,,, haven't finished watching the video,,,,) Bdubs and Tango? maybe BIG MAYBE!! they're around quite abit but I can't remember(my memories so bad oh my stars,,,) if She said anything to them. She talks to Scott about it AND I THINK SCOTT??? AGREES????

This is kind of in order? Of like enjoyment. HOWEVER take this with a grain of salt because I was sitting here trying to rearrange them (except the top 3) for 40 minutes. If it was mentioned, it's good 🙂‍↕️

the way I was playing this bro. I wouldn't let myself sleep until I was done with the demo and not because it felt like I had to, but I knew I would be PISSED if I went to bed without absorbing all the content (Dante give me a chance PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏). Anyway the hierarchy system reminds me of the one that I have for the way I wrote hell and I was like 🫵 OMG THATS SO COOL.

Key factor that I appreciate: Dialogue, descriptions, and transitions. Dante is deadass so funny I'm not even playing bro. Buddy how do you write like that, lmk. Also the official art has me gnawing at the bars of my enclosure

2. College Tennis: Origin Story by @collegetennisoriginstory — I ACTUALLY HAVE A FUCKING PROBLEM BRO. LOOK. IN MY HEAD, I WAS IGNORING THAT THEY WERE PLAYING TENNIS SO I WAS VISUALIZING VOLLEYBALL. SO AT SOME POINT I READ THE WORD RACKET AND I WAS LIKE WHAT ARE WE PLAYING???

Key factor that I appreciate: Skill checks, attention to side characters, amazing use of character tropes. Idk how to describe it but the writing felt so CLEAN. Like so organized and orderly. Plus I wanna study all of the characters under a microscope

3. Superstition (omg first IF I ever played) by @13leaguestories — I played this while I was sick and that's literally all I did for 2 days besides eating and sleeping. Am I okay? Yeah cuz it happened in December but like I was OBSESSED. And ashamed. My friend told me i would be into Zillah and she was right. I haven't recovered. I promise I'm in therapy.

Key factor that I appreciate: The fact that there was always something going on. Literally at least 3 things were happening at the same time, all the time, and it kept my lil depressed ass stimulated. Who could ask for more

4. Infamous by @infamous-if — this game makes me scared of commitment cuz I can't have Orion and Griffin😐 I might be biased because. I sing! So I was just really connected to this story immediately. Either way, one of my favs cuz the writing is saurrrr good, makes ya feel

Key factor that I appreciate — Infamous is generally well rounded, so I don't feel like it's LACKING in anything. Me gusta.

5. Mind blind by @mindblindbard — I have a problem so I'm a stereotypical Rosie fan. But anyway I personally loved this one because of the world building, even tho I'm a character-focused girlie. Plus the game is so funny for no reason

Key factor that I appreciate— I actually really like the MC in general. Which is funny to say, because they're supposed to be you, but MC's are different from game to game, and I like this one

6. Soulmates Inc by @soulmatesinc-if — idk with some games, it's just the vibe. Like the vibe is right so I'll read it (which like...it's hard for me to find games where the vibe is what drags me along. Tis really good)

Key factor I appreciate — Wyatt. omg who said that...I also love this game's take on soulmates. It's simple, but original, and I fw it

7. Nine Blood Dances by @nineblooddances-if— I'm boutta cry, how did you end up here twice without me noticing bro. Idk this one and TSTT have like, vibes that are connected by a small string, and I did play this one first if that matters.

Key factor that I enjoyed: It felt very structured, and again, clean. I really don't know what this feeling is

8. When Twilight Strikes by @evertidings — I love ALL the characters because damn near all of them pissed me off once. That's actually impressive /pos. Anyway Rylan hit my line

I don't get why people hate on different fire emblem games. I've had a lovely time with every game I've played, even fates, which people for some reason insist sucks? It's so good. Here's my favorite things about each game I've played just cause. I am very sick so no one can criticize me btw.

Binding: obviously goes for all gba games but the battle animations are so!!!!! Lovely and charming. Roy's just a silly guy, Lilina :], the cast is excellent, everyone from the most insignificant playable characters to the nastiest of villains like Narcian and Jahn is just so fun and nicely written.

Blazing: I LOVE THE ELIBEAN LORDS SO MUCH THEY HAVE MY ENTIRE HEART AND SOUL. I think fe7 has my favorite cast. Everyone is awesome like in fe6 but cranked up a notch. And I quite like how this game isn't about war!!! Lyn's just trying to save her grandpa and Eliwood is searching for his dad. There's some hints of civil war here and there but ultimately less war than usual which is quite fun and interesting.

Sacred stones: I adore how the game is like. almost horror. In my ideal fe8 remake they would lean into the horror aspect a more and maybe have a higher age rating. I really love how it starts out like any other fe game then you start to see monsters and then there's the necromancy and characters like Riev who worship this vile demonic thing. And the art director for this game was Wada Sachiko! She was such an excellent choice for the art director because her style leans into the darker feel than fe6 and 7. Also I'm a Christian so I do really enjoy L'Arachel's character where she's obviously inspired by Christianity but not in an offensive way. She's a nice god(s) (?) honoring teenage girl full of whimsy and optimism!!! Also I love Eirika. Did a cosplay of her once and gotta say, I felt drop dead gorgeous in it lol.

Path of radiance: I have yet to finish this one but oh MAN do I love the artstyle and combat and character design. Not a single bad character, they're all nicely written. Except Devdan but he's not real if we ignore him. I love how believable Ike and Mist are as siblings and I got say I actually find the bad voice acting to be charming, especially in that opening cutscene where Mist says something like "you're finally awake! 'bout time!" like she's so silly and cute I would die for her. I also really love how Ike is not royalty, he's just some guy!!! With autism!!! Like for a while my view of Ike was kinda skewed by looking at super smash bros content of him so then playing the game and discovering he's such a kind, reasonable and autistic dude was a very pleasant surprise. Seriously though this dude NEEDS to get assessed. Anyway I quite like the laguz too. Reyson, Tibarn and Caineghis are my favorites and I'm excited to see more of Kurthnaga because he's got such a pleasant design. Also just. Caineghis is probably one of my top favorite character designs ever, like top 20. It goes so unbelievably hard.

Awakening: THE TRAGEDY. THE TRAGEDY OF EMMERYN'S DEATH. UWAAAGHHHHH. I love LOVE how Emmeryn is written, how you can't save her despite Lucina being able to time travel, how you're given the options "save Emmeryn? Yes or no?" and it doesn't matter if you pick yes cause she dies anyway. The cast is not quite on the same tier as fe7 or 8 and there's certainly some characters I do not like but my favorites really are just so wonderful and lovely. I'd kill and die for Henry, Maribelle, Libra, Gregor and like 5 other people. The child unit mechanic is also very fun! It's such a clever idea for a time travel game and it gives you so much control over how your units end up. The self sacrifice ending also makes me feel sick. /pos "there's better places to take a nap than on the ground, you know. Here, give me your hand" and then Robin reaches out to Chrom and the symbol of Grima is gone and when he pulls them in closer, he says "it's finally over." just. Ahdhdjsjsjsj!!!!!!!

Fates: now, I've only played birthright but it was a very nice experience. I went in expecting nothing and had my socks blown off. Combat is fun, characters are so silly billy and it's got such a nicely done representation of a broken families. It's nice. The characters and supports are nice, even if I do feel like we could've had a few less support chains. And idc if I doesn't make sense story wise, bringing back child units was fun!! Again with the unit customization but also it's so fun to give your favorite character a teenage/preteen kid that they have to deal with. Azama and Mitama's supports are peak silly. I think people would enjoy birthright more if they took it a little less seriously. It's full of whimsy and people ignore that in favor of comparing it to more serious games which I think is kinda unfair.

Shadows of Valentia: oh MAN. I LOVE THE TWO ARMIES MECHANIC!!!! And bangin' cast! Absolutely adore almost every single one of those gay bitches!!! The artstyle is so gorgeous and I hated the combat at first but grew a soft spot for it, it's so strange and I like it!!! Also the game is less hefty so my computer had an easier time running it than POR, awakening and fates which is quite nice too. I love Berkut's character (I won't defend him, he's a son of a bitch) and MAN Ian Sinclair really went HAM on that voice acting!!! Also Zeke and Tatiana feel handcrafted for me specifically. Angsty married couple? Where one has amnesia?? And the other is worried he'll leave her if he remembers another woman he was dating??? And they're voiced by Patrick Seitz and Cristina Vee, two of my favorite voice actors ever??????? SIGN ME UP!!!! I'm excited to eventually play the Marth games and see what else is up with Zeke :] also adore Celica, Silque, Jesse and Boey! Very nice, solid characters.

Three houses: different routes! DIFFERENT ROUTES!!!! You get to see all sides of a war and it's so fun piecing together the history of Fodlan and nature of Rhea's character as you play each route. And again, excellent voice acting!! And it was fun being in the 3h fandom when it first came out and seeing all the silly things the VAs did together. I've got like 400 hours on this game and it holds a special place in my heart cause it was the very first game I finished without help from siblings and it was my first fe game. Also banging soundtrack, fun and unique combat (LOVE battalions) and amazing characters.

Enage: now I'm only 8 chapters in, I think? Haven't been able to play it recently. But it's so fun! Before getting it, I hated the bright artstyle and character designs but they've grown on me and I have been enlightened so I now know that f!Alear is a cutie patootie and I love her. I love the mechanic of adopting animals. Like I am quite happy recent fe games have, in some aspects, become more a little more lighthearted and silly. I love variation in game series' and when the devs aren't way too formulaic!!! That being said I also love the archetypes!!! I just really love fire emblem :]

I'm excited to finish engage and POR and play more of the games :]

seriously this panel is so,,, god,,, like not only the parallel makes me insane but wow the shapes and colors here too. i am easily amazed clearly LMFAO but gosh idk i just really like this,,, the swirl of summer flames lashing around and javier's wings also being curled as part of the swirl, centering to a single point around the eye of summer,,, which is also similar to the older panels of suho reaching to the light bc they usually ended up also pinpointed on a single point in at least one of the panels . oh my god it just keeps going im so . AAAAHHH!!!!!

i think it's interesting too that one of the differences is that both of them are reaching, but in this panel his fingers are wider outstretched. like, suho's hand reaches, but lloyd's hand is about to grab, does that make sense? that's what it looks like to me,,, of course i'm not sure how intentional that is (it likely isn't and is just that way bc it's been so long since the original panel was drawn) but it's a nice difference to point out either way,,, he's finally reaching it

{Hey guys :3, I'm like super sick rn so like I'm gonna do this fic for the anon that suggested it! Sorry it took so long. Anyway, my winter break is almost over and I am like devastated. Hope everyone had a great New Year! Anyway, this takes place after the bathroom trap, reblogs and likes are appreciated, thank you! ♡}

The look in Adam's eyes says a lot. He's mad, pissed even. He's tried being soft with you, tried being kind and emotionally there, but it hasn't seemed to work for the both of you. Every time you have a problem with his actions or what he says, you keep it inside, letting it marinate in your mind and heart. Whenever he has a problem, despite trying to talk it out like adults, he just criticizes all of your actions harshly, always picking fights with you even though he hates these arguments.

The current situation that lies here revolves around communication. He's mad because you can't seem to speak out about your feelings, which causes him to feel like he's in the dark about your emotions and how you actually feel. In all honesty, you can't blame him for feeling this way. He is absolutely correct, and he does deserve someone who can communicate their emotions thoroughly without having to act immature and keep them hidden away. Yet, you know that he also has a problem with communication, so he must learn how to own up to that as well.

"Listen, I just think you should calm down. I mean, it's clear you have a problem with everything I do, so why do I even bother anymore!? Just quit yelling, you're utterly exaushting to deal with!" You spit out, watching his anger contort into something worse. He can feel his veins fill with hot blood at your words. He's always been a bit of a hot head, yet he's different this time. You know that it's not only your communication skills that are pissing him off. It's something more. Something deeper.

"You wanna talk about my problems when you can't even talk about your own? Isn't that fucking ironic, huh!? You're such a child, you can't even talk to me. I'm so fucking sick of your stupid little attitude, your tone, your personality, everything! Fucking everything! I can't even look at you without wanting to strangle the next living thing that walks its way past me!!" Hes practically going insane over this small altercation, causing you to stare at him like he's actually lost his mind.

And then, the realization comes crashing down onto your shocked face. This isn't the same boy he was before the trap. Adam isn't the boy he used to be. That boy, the one who used to sit outside with you, smoking cigarettes and feeding cats as he complimented your pretty features, has now changed into a traumatized, scared man. What he went through, something you have no idea what it was like, fucked him over more than anything else has. Well, anything but his childhood truama. When he does actually show his emotions, they're heavy. He's never just sad or angry. He's depressed or livid. He needs help.

"Adam.. You need fucking therapy. Go and find someone who cares, because I sure as hell don't. You're a pathetic excuse of a man. You're a boy." You manage to choke out, knowing that every word that escaped your lips were pure lies. You can see his jaw unclench, definitely hurt by your sudden words of anger and sorrow. His ocean eyes look down at the dirty, wooden floor, his nose breathing in the cold air that flows around his dark apartment.

The apartment is silent for the next couple of hours. You shower under some some cold water, leaving a chill down your spine as the shower head spits out the liquid. While stepping out of the cold tub, drying yourself off, brushing your teeth, staring at yourself in the mirror with solemn eyes, you just can't seem to stop thinking about his face, his emotional eyes that make puppies jealous. You only want him to feel loved, yet your words of poison stung his deepest insecurities. You know your souls are intertwined, which makes this pain hurt worse.

Sliding on your long sleep shirt, you slip down to the floor, leaning against the wall that's slowly peeling due to the poor quality. His words linger in your mind, which causes your breathing to hitch. Warm tears sting your eyelids worse than what his words ever did. He's supposed to be your everything, but it seems like neither of you are good for the other. This can't happen, you think in your head. Something needs to change because you know you can't lose your boy.

Suddenly, a knocking sound occurs at the bathroom door. Lazily pushing yourself off the floor to reach for the knob, you turn it and pull the wooden door open. Once you do, you're met with Adam and his regretful face. He's holding his headphones and Walkman in his right hand, his left still raised against the door. "Love.. I'm sorry. I— I was thinking I could maybe brush your hair as you listened to our Playlist on here." He raises the Walkman. "I know I don't usually let people touch this old peice of junk, but I love you, and I want you to know that. I shouldn't have said those things to you, but it's really hard not to lose my temper when you don't talk to me about your emotions. Can you forgive me, babe?"

The sight itself causes you to shed more tears. He's changed into your favorite shirt of his, knowing that it's the one you like to lie against after having a bad day. He's never been the domestic type, but he's different for you. With a sniffle and a nod, you walk right into his arms, burying your sad face into his warm neck.

Sitting in bed, you have the headphones on, listening to whatever song that graces your eardrums. A brush glides through your hair as Adam holds it. Gently and calmly, he makes sure you're okay and that you feel nothing but loved and cared for. These moments are rare, so you know you shouldn't take them for granted. A sudden feeling of Adam's lips graze the back of your neck as he wraps his arms around your waist.

He slips the headphones off your ears, gently peppering your shoulder with soft pecks. "I hope you're not mad anymore. I shouldn't have said what I said. I— I have no excuse for my actions, but I hope you still love me because I know I love you. I'm going to change, so nothing like that happens again, but it means you have to change too. Talk to me. Don't hold it in. Alright?" His words fill your ears, proving his love and devotion for you.

"You're right.. I know. I'll change, love. I will. I forgive you.. Now, can you keep me close?" You ask, your eyes fluttering open and meeting his. He agrees, pulling you closer and showering your plump lips with his.

omfg I need to get dis off my chest I HATE DISCORD SO MUCH

you'd think I'm over reacting, but no, anytime I see dis CREATIN on my screen I feel rage upon me as my blood boils and I shake my fist up in the air in ANGER. (Maybe not dat far...)

My main point is dat I'm just trying to find other fellow discord haters here, if u like discord good for you, dis is just my personal opinion BUT I FREAKING HATE HIM SO MUCH

I don't think he deserves to be redeemed AT ALL as we constantly see him being an asswipe to the whola mane six (except for fluttershy ofc -_-) solely for filler episodes or plot convinces and he is never actually useful at all. In the season 6 finale literally the ONLY time I remember him actually being useful was when he distracted the changelings and sacrificed himself for the group (dat literally took no effort at all..)

I specifically see him constantly going after twilight the most, I don't know why he has such a stick up his ass for her but he just does(???) there's multiple cases of him doing this buy I'm going to specially pick the episode "Three's a crowd".

Here, the main plot is dat Twilight and Candance set up a hangout together as tthey rarely get to spend time with each other unless it involes saving equestria. But of course, this fuckhead needs to make it all about himself because his widdle fwuttershy is off on a trip and he's alllll alone, so he fakes being sick for attention (grown ass adult btw..) and tries bugging applejack and rarity to take care of him. When they refuse he makes them sick and then takes his candyass to Twilight and Candance to RUIN THEIR DAYS INSTEAD. (Mind you, why couldn't he have just teleported to fluttershy and spend time with her there??)

He begins annoying Twilight and Candance and TRASHES Twilight's house and makes dis sick ass musical number (props to his VA lol) and basically just begs for free shit, and Twilight who has the patience of a saint gives it to him. He then tells them the only way to cure him is if they climb dis bigass mountain and grab a flower with magical petals. They go out of they're way to do so bc they want dis manbaby to stop wasting all their time, but whoodie fuckin doo, the plant turns out to be a monster and we get dis epic fight scene with twilight and Candance.

They end up getting the petal, but then they find out discord wasn't even sick in the first place and was faking it because he's a grown ass adult and definitely not an immature little pos, but then he gets his karma and actually DOES get sick, and blah blah blah idfk wat the lesson even was.

What I think bothered me the most was the fact discord wasted twi&Candance whole entire day, got applejack and rarity sick, and still got nursed back to health in the end?? (ME PERSONALLY I wuld have thrown him down the deepest ditch and watch him slowly decay..) and then fluttershy BABIES HIM at the very end when applejack and rarity ARE RIGHTFULLY MAD AT HIM. She goes, and I quote "Now now, he's had enough, he's learned his lesson already, isn't that right my little patient? ^w^" LIKE I'M SORRY??? IS HE TWO YEARS OLD???? Learned his lesson my ass, hell continue to keep fucking up bcuz he knows hell always get away with it punishment free (foreshadowung to season 9 finale..) and also dats just so inconsiderate to invalidate ur friends feelings when they have every right to be upset at ur fuckass boyfriend fluttershy wtf

This falls into my second point, but it's the fact dat discord also ruins part of fluttershy's character for me. The main reason why he likes her so much is because he knows shell baby him FOR EVERYTHING and will always take his side over her friends sides, he's a petulant toddler and fluttershy enables his pos actions because "oh but he's learning!!! I know he called all of u guys slurs but he's learning friendship!!!" IS SUCH A LOUSY FUCKING EXCUSE

"oh but he's chaotic and if he tries to be normal hell fade away" #1 he needs to fade away faster then #2 he has his own little chaos realm where he can go be chaotic in there, why tf can't he just leave the mane 6 alone and be a menace over there??

Not to mention dis man has betrayed the mane 6 twice already, first teaming up with Tirek and ONLY apologizing when he loses all his power to him, and THEN PUTTING TOGETHER 3 INSANELY STRONG VILLAINS TO PLOT AGAINST EQUESTRIA for a GOOD CAUSE???? I will admit, the second one was mainly due to season 9 just having terrible writing in general, BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW TF A DUDE WHO PUT EQUESTRIA IN DANGER MULTIPLE TIMES BECAUSE HE WAS FUCKING BORED GOT REDEEMED, BUT A 12 YEAR OLD LITTLE GIRL WAS THROWN INTO PONY HELL AND PUT TO STONE FOR ETERNITY, HOW DA FUK DOES DAT MAKE ANY SENSE! 1?1!2!

but im going off topic, the main reason why I strongly dislike discord is because he's supposed to be a "redeemed character" who's "changed" however he's still a little asshole and never takes accountability for his actions and reminds me of fucking Caillou, dat stupid annoying bald brat is HIM in another universe u cannot change my mind.

L would worship a woman at a moment's notice but could never fully commit to it unless he truly has reason to and naomi misora would never worship somebody at a moment's notice unless she has reason to fully commit to it. - this is also why i think their dynamic works so well because i think naomi could push her way into becoming an equal to L. she would NOT respect that little shit and would only ever do what he says if she has to (and she'd probably still find ways around stuff to do things her own way).
