friendly reminder that you can still get covid in 2024, we're in the middle of a massive wave right now and covid is NOT "just a cold". take necessary precautions in crowded places, on buses, on train, or on planes. it's better enduring a few strange looks when wearing a mask than getting ill and/or (god forbid) lifelong complications from long covid!

oh also, if you've got symptoms–yes it's a pain to have to buy a test–but PLEASE test. we're still in the middle of a pandemic however much we all want to forget that fact and we can still do our bit to protect others!

It can't be overstated how powerful the catharsis is when a scene of a character connecting with their wounded inner child is done right. The key poses...the expressions...the timing...storytelling like this can help to provide some healing for so many people in the audience.

most didn't expect it, you didn't either until it happened. as you retold the story of how he let it slip as second-years people would audibly voice their confusions.

but he did. he felt he had to, katsuki's heart would burst at even the thought of you, your actions drove him crazy.

you were just so pretty to him, always looking at him with kind eyes and a smile, always bantering back and forth with him, kisses in between your words.

your presence in his life was undoubted, he now couldn't even think of a life without you. he couldn't ponder the idea of being number one if it wasn't with you by his side, growing old without you not even being a possibility in his mind anymore as you hit your first anniversary together.

it didn't go how he wanted it to at all. he wanted it to be special and perfect, like a romance anime with you two under the cherry blossomed trees.

but he just couldn't shut up around you.

you were just lazing around in his bed, mindlessly scrolling on whatever, when you noticed he'd been staring at you for a while.

you stuck your tongue out at him, when he mindlessly uttered. "i love you, loser." his eyes widening when he realized he'd said it aloud.

your mouth hung open as you processed his words, the smile that took over your face makinh him flip away from you and face the wall.

"hey no! i love you too idiot, just come back!" you said trying to flip him back over to face you.

he's also the type to get pissed if you don't say it back, he expects a kiss and an 'i love you' when he leaves and when he gets back.

will be late and ruin his perfect attendance just to wait in front of you, hand on hip, eyeing you as if you were crazy until you say it back.

and if you still don't say it? hell pick you up and plant a kiss on the lips, aggressively saying "i love you, don't ya have something to say back?" until you finally give in.

the longest you've held out was 2 hours, you're sure he'd hold you all day if you didn't give in though.
