Kishiar died thinking that Yudrain had only held a minimum amount of affection for him, while Yudrain died never knowing Kishiar ever loved him at all.

thinking about 7x04 again and the insanity of it all and specifically how buck and tommy are literally each other's second choices, like it's so crazy to me, i am obsessed with the rizz of eddie diaz. people are going so crazy for him and he's oblivious to it. tommy was literally out there taking eddie on dates flying him out to fucking vegas etc. buck finds out about this and goes batshit insane crazy trying to get eddie's attention. neither of them get exactly what they want, tommy because eddie's oblivious and also like, just not into him. and buck because if he even looks at his feelings for eddie he will fucking explode so projects them onto tommy. and now they’re dating about it. about EDDIE. eddie diaz your power is unmatched.

You know that scene where Orin shapeshifts into durge and tells them what she did to them? What if Gortash found out about it the same way and had Orin rub salt in the wound by then showing him the prayer for forgiveness?

She is cruel enough to do it and I can't think of any worse way to find out about what happened than for the attempted-murderer to shapeshift into their victim and describe what happened to them in explicit, gruesome detail. The attack itself, the tadpole, how they were abandoned to die alone like trash, how Gortash wasn't there to protect them, all of it. Only to show grieving Gortash the note

i was on the most random nostalgia kick and rewatched the prince of egypt yesterday and let me just say... that movie is truly one of the greatest animated films of all time.

also i think it just gives more depth to both steph and jason if jason was a good kid with parents who did care and unfortunately didn’t have their circumstance entirely in their control!!

like it aligns better with jason’s like passion to be robin and be something bright and to help. like isn’t it so much more complex if he knows good people can end up doing bad things bc they didn’t have a choice and yet he still goes out of his way to interact with these villains and discover that sometimes (obviously not all the villains) but sometimes people are just bad! like his death is more crushing if he thinks people are inherently good and is proven wrong like he was just a pawn to be killed. like then when he comes back with the vengeance of the whole thing. like even the good couldn’t protect him so he has to orchestrate the bad and provide him some sorta control

where steph having this as her baseline! hoping to be saved and so desperately waiting for batman only for him to never arrive. for her dad to still be abusive and having to watch both her parents succumb to these habits that essentially have her act as a parent to them both. her becoming spoiler is literally so heart breaking, she risks her life to thwart cluemaster and put him in prison to get him out the house, so she has one less thing to deal with. then she’s left with her mother who (depending on which comic) often leaves responsibility up to steph even making her retrieve medication and further the addiction. like her whole nightmare about her baby being manipulated by her dad and the bats blaming her for being a bad role model when all she has done is try to save herself is genuinely one of the most upsetting panels of hers. nvm her whole robin run which is just another thing!!
