Do you ever just get so emo on main for how when PO3 posted the game on steam he incorporated the videos he found of Luke in his files? They literally died for our sins, they revived in a cave (or egg), their dad is a god who basically set them up to die and fight the bug devil to save PK's followers.

All this to say imagine if Hollow found out their name was used to express frustration/surprise

People who think the vessels are meant to be empty slates that you can project into have the media literacy of a fucking rock

I think it's safe to assume that The Hollow Knight wasn't taught some basic skills like reading, or even math or writing. After all, what would be the purpose of teaching a Pure Vessel to read or write? It wouldn't help it contain the infection.

All that is to say, I think Hollow would have pretty severe learning disabilities. I think they could very much learn to do these things, but you can't just start learning to write and read in your adulthood with zero consequences and no damage done.

(Every fanfic author who wrote THK struggling with learning these things I love youuu)

A small funfact/detail idk if anybody noticed about my giijinkas is the fact Ghost's and Flower's markings on their faces are shaped to make them look like their in-game counterparts' shells (Ghost's is a bit lopsided because it's drawn on an angle)
