But when y'all talk about Eris always talking like we know everything about him and when Nesta herself say that she sees Eris as a brute and a piece of shit, conveniently "she never said that, read the book"

The fact that the antis doesn't GET THIS is so annoying, it's really simple so I'll put it down for you...

Ember is a mother that loves both Bryce and Danika, this is the whole point, the fact that Ember is a mother, not the fact that she's a stranger.

For the first time Nesta felt the affection of a mother, which she never felt before, it's this the meaning of this scene.

(Nesta knows that Ember is Bryce's mother)

If Cassian had done what Ember had, it wouldn't have had the same meaning for Nesta.

And why in the hell is a bad thing that she defends herself?

Y'all love decontextualizing events.

If you don't like Cassian, just keep going, I see no good on sharing this unhealthy and unnecessary hate.

From Acosf we know that Cassian felt like he had failed two of the most important people in his life, he wasn't there for his mother and his brother. But he was there for ✨his mate✨

Cassian spent his whole life with him, 500 years, his mother adopted him, giving him a better life, more opportunities.

Nesta & Cassian have known each other for like what, a couple years? Of course Cassian is going to struggle when the love of his life and his lifetime-brother disagree with eachother.

That is both common sense and narratively interesting. Cassian has to grow as a character as well as Nesta and they both as a couple. They're adventure has just begun.

Comparing Feyre to Nesta is just pointless because there's a different feeling for them, Cassian sees Feyre as a friend and Nesta as is his mate, the love of his life.

However, chill down for how much you hate him for not "defending Nesta enough". That's the whole point??

If my parther had a life-long friend that both call themselves brother and they considered family and suddenly he prioritized me over him and he always took my side, I would think that loyalty was meaningless to him and would question what this mean in our relationship in several year.

If he can drop someone you consider family so quickly for me, a new person in his life, I would worry...

Remember that perfect characters are boring and not interesting. Conflict, flaws, learning to grow, this are the key to make a wonderful character and we know so little about Cassian and Nessian's journey.

So keep the hate at bay, it's unhealty and pointless.

How is this Cassian's reaction to Rhysand taking Feyre to the Weaver

"Cassian tried to convince me last night not to take you. I thought he might even punch me."

"You're a prick, Rhysand," Cassian said quietly.

But yet when Rhysand threatens to obliterate Nesta, Cassian does...nothing. Absolutely nothing. He doesn't almost punch Rhysand. He doesn't call Rhysand a prick. When Rhysand threatens Nesta, Cassian doesn't even know which side to pick: his mate or his brother. Nesta can't even talk about Rhysand in a snide tone without Cassian ripping her head off, but Cassian will stand by and do nothing while Rhysand threatens to kill his mate.

Cassian is more protective of Feyre than he is of his own mate.
