sect leaders lan sizhui, ouyang zizhen, and jin ling calling lan jingyi as “furen” as a joke, until it escalated and now the rest of their sects— respectively, calls him; lan–furen, ouyang–furen, and jin–furen. all because none of the sect leaders attempt to deny the rumors if lan jingyi is really gonna marry one of them and become their madame, and because the three of them secretly preens at jingyi getting called their furen. they are three dumb lovesick fools who are deeply infatuated with their best friend.

despite jingyi’s flustered state at every address towards him, it reached to a point that he got used to it and fully embraced his title(s). the three saw this as a tacit approval and began openly courting and initiative towards him.

lsz: “jingyi, can you stay for a little while? would you really allow this husband of yours to be left alone after his incessant efforts of finishing his paperwork?” sizhui teases fondly, his voice too soft that jingyi assumed it was genuine. jingyi pulls his hand away with a flush.

after jin ling bought him 5 chicken wings, before jingyi could even protest.

ljy: “jin ling! i can’t finish all of this!” he fusses. “you’ve been spending so much stuff for me since earlier, what’s up with you anyway?”

jin ling only directs him an amused glint in his eyes before humming,

jinling: “i can’t let them think i‘m neglecting their beloved jin–furen.” he says before wrapping his arm around the other’s waist.

the lanling jin sect members— especially the younger disciples, absolutely adore jingyi. since jin ling‘s reign as sect leader, the lanling jin sect transformed for the better, and he broke the cycle of shitty sect leaders. the younger disciples are made of majority of members jin ling personally handpicked and invited into the sect, and they’re fond and grateful towards him. because of this, they are very comfortable and friendly, and jin ling allows them to be informal and friendlier towards him as long as it's just him and his sect. the other trio were present during this, and are quite popular amongst them, especially jingyi. they are very fond of jingyi since he has much more time to visit, since the other two are sect leaders. the disciples have an inkling about their sect leader’s attraction towards jingyi. who knows, they probably call him jin–furen to appease their leader and hopefully deliver the message to jingyi’s dense ass.

i cannot think of any scenario for zizhen, but i can imagine that zizhen would act more.. soft and affectionate towards jingyi. aaa

I'm on a time-tracking rewatch. 2x03 was 11 weeks before opening, and 2x05 was 6 weeks before opening. You're telling me he didn't tell Sydney for a whole month that he was hanging out with a friend who's a girl? It's not like he was keeping it a secret from everyone because Natalie knew early on he was spending time with Claire.

Whether platonic or a business partnership, if Syd and Carmy were building a friendship, it's strange that he didn't tell Sydney at all.

So wrote a little thing about if MC gave the brothers hamsters, how they would die

TW: animal death, of hamsters, it's not graphic or anything just simple sentences -- oh and swearing.... Idk if anyone cares abt that

Lucifer

He probably would try to teach it something like a trick but it would be too dumb to understand and bite his finger. He would just let it sit on his desk in its cage before it could die in one of 3 ways

1. Paperwork got piled up on his desk and covered the hamsters cage, it died from neglect and Lucifer's forgetfulness of it

2. He sneezed or made a loud sound and gave it a heart attack so it died

3. It chewed through its cage and before Lucifer could stop it, the hamster drank his pen ink and fucking died...

Mammon

He probably didn't last long with it because he yelled too loud.

OR, it chewed on his credit card (Goldie) so he shook his card to get it off in a panic and the hamster died from him too vigorously shaking Goldie. The damn hamster died before it even hit the floor.

Leviathan

We know Levi has pets already, so I feel like it would be pretty long lasting. I mean longer than ANYONE could ever in the house because he would remember to tend to it.

Until it either:

1. ran away

2. fell into Henry 2.0's fish tank (or any of the various tanks in his room) and DROWNED.

Satan

He wouldn't have it for that long. Like, at all.

He would probably try to make the hamster and the cat get along and the cat would kill the hamster. Like how cats kill mice and give them to their owners as gifts.

Asmodeus

Asmo would have his for some time, he would definitely decorate its cage and give it like some pretty shit before the hamster started eating the decorations.

Little did Asmo know, what he decorated the cage with could kill the hamster of it ate it. So it died from that.

Beelzebub

Ate it.

No other words. Was it on purpose? Was it on accident? No one knows.

Belphegor

One of two ways this could go, he crushed it or intentionally killed it

1. While Belphie was sleeping the hamster basically chewed through it's cage, got to where Belphie was sleeping and he rolled over crushing the hamster and killing it.

2. It would be like some "how to tell if my son is a psychopath" and one of the things is like torturing small animals. Yeah, that bitch is a murderer and he killed it from just "playing" with it.

So, the order of who's hamster would die first?

1. Beelzebub

2. Belphegor

3. Satan

4. Mammon

5. Asmodeus

6. Lucifer

People in the actual omegaverse would get as bored of their stuff, as we do of ours, you know? It could be interesting to see that kind of vibe in fics. Biological demands faced with all the excitement of paying bills or doing laundry or tying your shoes.

Even if that kind of energy might not drive a plot, it could be interesting to have as a contrast to the people who do have big feelings about them - good or bad.

There's the friends who can't wait til they have a pack of their own, and the one friend who isn't against it but couldn't care less. There's the group in the office who are all about scent compatibility tests and figuring out one's best match and what sprays most highlight it, and the coworker who has no intentions on putting that much effort in. There are parents who hover and protect their offspring by scenting them multiple times a day, and others who don't see what the fuss is as long as it's done in the morning.

...also: packs with introverts who show care by giving each other space. So often, closeness is depicted through physical touch and tactile affection, but comfortable silence is meaningful too. Knowing people are near, but not having to interact until you're ready. Sitting in the same room doing different things, knowing that all it takes is a "hey, look at this" to share what you're up to. People understanding and accepting each other's differing or fluctuating needs for how and when to recharge. Seeing somebody reaching out or sharing space, beyond what's their norm, as a signal of the fact that they care.
