I imagine Lan Sizhui appears very poised, like the perfect Lan disciple but only Jingyi knows how fucking weird he really is, like their conversation sometimes go like this-

Day 3 : Starlight

Going back to my roots for this one.

I did a piece from @useless-slytherclaw’s Moonlights and Rooftops about two years ago and it’s still one of my favorite pieces I’ve done for this ship. It’s also the first thing I thought of when I saw Starlight on the prompt list, so now that I’m more comfortable with Procreate I figured I’d go back and take a shot at another scene I loved.

I still may not completely understand how lighting works, but I do my best to keep trying to go out of my comfort zone on these.

And I absolutely needed to try to draw the kiss. Or at least the lead up

we as a a society (zhuiyi shippers), do not think much more about the possibilities of wen yuan— or it could be wei— who’s likely to embarrass and tease jingyi, especially if it was a yiling wei sect au. i’m just thinking, both versions of a’yuan would somehow end up becoming a little cheeky or a tease, and somehow they both revel in jingyi’s rare flustered moments.

My thoughts:

God I just love jingyi and I love the interaction in this one between jingyi and lwj. This is a series about the junior disciples and later in the series, I also really loved the interactions between jingyi and jin ling. So sweet and good.
