earlier I was thinking about how we both use it/its and are autistic. and how you don’t consider yourself human, and it/its expresses that for you. and I always feel like I’m doing this whole person thing wrong, so I have to remind myself that there’s no wrong way to be human, and it/its pronouns are a big part of that for me.

like!! same pronouns same complicated relationship with being a person with the same root cause but very different feelings and experiences. idk about you but I think it’s cool as hell.

I clearly gotta work on embracing my oddities and not caring what other people think because my first instinct reading this was to further explain and justify myself because I know it's strange.

But like! Yeah! You're right! My pronouns and autism go hand in hand, we both have complicated relationships with the two and how they interact to make us. And how we consider ourselves. And they're not quite the same but they're the same enough we can recognize it in each other and bond over it and go hey! you're like me!

I'm low support needs but that doesn't mean I grew up feeling normal. And the way I processed that without another explanation was that everyone else had something that I was missing, something that made them more human than me. Ergo, I wasn't entirely human. And like. I know logically that I am, and that there's no right way to be human--and I have gotten more comfortable with it--but I don't know if I'll ever be able to hear myself referred to as human without going "wait, not quite." I don't have something I think I am, I just have trouble conceptualizing myself as completely human. And it/its are something that can be anything! They're so loose and vague and free; they don't tie me to anything. They let me be that complicated vaguely human but just not quite thing :)

It's such a weird thing but it's part of how I interact with and understand the world. And I love it! And that's not your same experience, but we both have a way of interacting with our humanity alongside our autism through our pronouns and that's! So so cool!

I just! Am also now thinking about it, and don't have the opportunity to talk about this part of my self conception with someone else on the same wavelength very often so! insert stimming right here because i'm doing that irl at the moment!!

i think the thing a lot of papyrus takes get wrong is that they forget that, among other things, papyrus is funny. in my experience writing papyrus, i often find the most funny line is the most in-character one. an unfunny papyrus doesn’t ever feel like an accurate papyrus to me. it’s more than part of the game, it’s part of his character. and disregarding that is what messes up a lot of otherwise good impressions of him.

i think the primary reason why K/S has such overwhelming appeal is and always shall be that it is, at its core, a soulmate bond that has to be forged. the only way a t'hy'la bond can manifest is through shared toil, hardships, and undying devotion; it must be given effort and put together piece by piece - but at the same time, by the nature of its creation, it alters all realities on a cosmic level, to the point that Kirk and Spock must meet in every universe.

Bro I don’t think anyone understands how cosmo and wanda would fully feel, like I always hear about peri but we had multiple confirmations on how Timmy was legit their favorite god child, and it’s confirmed they stayed with him till he was 17. Whenever they were taken away from him they would SOB, like in every episode were timmy was away they actually couldn’t handle themselves. He is haunting the narrative and cosmo and wandas minds, there’s no way they don’t stay up thinking about him, and his whole entire life. There’s no way there’s no small regret in being able to stay in his life forever, there’s no way they just moved on. Don’t get me wrong I love hazel sososos much like top tier godkid, but timmy was like a son to them, family that no one can replace, and I rlly feel like we miss out on the angst on their side!!

ORV as a story about fervid devotion through life and death/the desperate lengths taken to save the one(s) you care about more than anything/the paradoxically futile yet worthwhile endeavor to know and understand and love someone—all without ever developing into romance—is just so near and dear to my aromantic heart. Even past the grand gestures, the heroic journeys, the sacrificial acts, this one dream: “I want to buy a really big house and live together with everyone.” How do I encapsulate the amount of yearning inherent to my reading of that sentence. Like it was clawed out from the deepest parts of the soul. How wondrously heavy and real it feels, this hope for a future I can see much more clearly than any vision of dating/partnership/marriage.

hating kissing is okay, you’re not weird or broken or a prude,

whether you’re asexual or allosexual it’s fine if you despise swapping spit with another human being, it doesn’t mean you love them any less, and you’re FINE. love is expressed in different ways. humans celebrate each other differently, love comes in different forms, it’s fine if you only want to kiss people you’re close to or not at all or literally anything in-between, and shaming people for hating an act of intimacy is fucked up. show love how you want. enjoy the company of others how you want. you don’t have to see kissing as anything more than the gross parts, and “reducing” it to that or whatever is just as okay as romanticizing it as something more. it’s just some ritual humans made up, and we’re allowed to feel literally any fucking way in the world about it.
