in season one batman and martian man hunter (mmh) plan a training exercise for the team, but what the team doesn’t know is that it’s doomed from the start

the adults underestimate miss martian, and because it’s all in their minds and through mmh, miss martian takes control after one of their teammates (artemis) ‘dies’ and they don’t think it should happen, and anyways in the end they all basically die and are in coma’s irl until mmh gets miss m to snap out of it

it’s really traumatic and it makes dick realize that he can’t do what bruce does, how he sacrifices everything for the mission,

they are all forced to do therapy with black canary, and dick reveals that he used to, but he doesn’t want to be the batman anymore, and it’s heart wrenching. he like begs black canary not to tell bruce about it

and ik there’s a whole thing where dick does have to take up the mantle, and it really really fucks with him and anyways this is my roman fucking empire

I don’t think yall understand how meaningful it is to have Oliver say “when you close your eyes it all feels the same” (kissing on screen). The fact that he doesn’t laugh it off, or say he had to push through it, or that it was a little weird like other actors have in the past is so incredibly important. This is him portraying a character and his sexuality, and it’s so validating to have the actor do his job the way Oliver has, in such a caring, positive way. It’s the feeling of finally belonging, of blending in when you’ve been marginalized and picked out all your life. Love is love, and a kiss is just a kiss.

At all the people talking about how they're speedrunning Percabeth:

Like, they made them be friends a bit faster, sure, but by the second book they're already pretty close friends and we're already on episode 5 of an 8 episode show.

None of their scenes have been inherently romantic, they've only served to show us the development of their friendship.

It's just weird to me that people are seeing two 12 year olds, both of whom are starved for affection and have barely ever had friends, forming a close friendship and immediately call it romantic. It is probably to do with the fact that book readers KNOW that Percabeth happens, but just because it happens eventually doesn't mean every scene they have of them being close is romantic.

nearly broke down watching Shannon read the letter to Chris. “I love you, even from a distance.” I’m unwell.

the bucktalia breakup explanation was funny, but what was funnier and gayer was Eddie’s reaction to it sjdjdj

there’s absolutely no chemistry between Marisol and Eddie.

the whole Bathena marital struggles™️ arc doesn’t convince me too much tbh (although I understand Athena’s thought process & concerns).

Chris putting the Shannon frame back up and Eddie’s heart visibly repairing in front of us will forever haunt me btw

small detail that i loved in the scene where percy summons the tidal wave to take out ares, he doesn’t have to move his arms or hands to do it. like in the books it’s always described as percy feeling a tug in his gut but never him doing some sort of physical action to use his water powers. i LOVED that you just see that wave coming up and you know percy is doing it, but he’s not doing some eleven from stranger things shit to summon it LOL. he just uses his mind to control the water. also love the way the tidal wave just misses him completely, like he’s standing in the middle of it and it just moves around him because duh. water powers. love love love details
