Trapped together in the Malfoy Manor greenhouse, Hermione is dying and Draco will do anything to rescue her.

There’s a small pond a kilometre from Headquarters and they meet there whenever Draco makes a stop to speak to Moody or another member of The Order. They’re sprawled on the grass on top of his cloak, hands tangled together, kissing for what feels like hours. Draco rains kisses along her jaw, slowly descending her neck. Lingering at the hollow of her throat.  “Do you let Weasley do this?” he asks abruptly, looking up at her with smouldering eyes. His jaw pulses when she doesn’t immediately reply. “No,” she says, hearing the uncertainty in her voice. His fingers clench around her knuckles. “But I know he likes me.”

To pad more space on my Christmas list, let me ask something. Which of the Rick Riordan Presents books do you most recommend? Because I already own a bunch of them, but I haven't gotten around to reading them. And discounting the fact that COVID stopped my reading and that it means I already have like 10 books I've never read before cluttering up space, I still want to pad out my Christmas List. So, please tell me which of the books you most recommend, especially for someone like me (who likes comedy, mythology, middle grade fiction, and hates scary stuff). This might help me begin finally wrapping up the books portion of my Christmas list.

this one’s vibes are closest to him his healing era—like, once him and ian figure it out a little. HOWEVER the best all encompassing theme for him is

is like his definitive “escaping isolation” theme. also it’s a bop. i love nico collins. (this is why people ship ryu and ian, isn’t it. they share custody of this song)

ahhhhh this one is harddddd ian is hard to assign songs to. bc there’s the songs that match his vibe and then the songs that match his story…

works for him i think. ian has the “young gay teenager” music vibes i fear (i like the songs too, can’t judge). he’s also pretty codependent and weather-reliant (being a plant) so the lyrics fit lollll. on the same note,

my feelings on bireena arent as strong as some of my other ships but i still really like these two

there’s intros suggesting bi-han could be redeemed + isn’t As Bad as some of the other villains. so i don’t think it’s out of the question that him and sareena (who has always been a good-aligned character) could end up with something going on if they met

i also find it funny? that in the older games, it was always bi-han showing empathy to sareena, which helped her turn to the side of good—and now with sareena fighting w/ ashrah for good, but bi-han going down this darker path, it’s like their roles have been reversed

this thread basically echoes the thoughts + theory i have about their relationship. i just pray that nrs actually does something with them this time around instead of having any of their development happen off screen
