thankfully my lovely friend @krisalyce made me some oc playlists which are excellent and wonderful so i’ve got several songs in mind!!

for kei:

this one’s vibes are closest to him his healing era—like, once him and ian figure it out a little. HOWEVER the best all encompassing theme for him is

it is so silly and him core and i did make an entire…animatic focused on him to it…uh….

for ryu:

ahhh it’s so hard to choose bc so many of the guys have different songs that work well for their different “eras” iykwim?

this is a good one for his Lonely/Permanently Bored Kid era (and also i jsut like how it sounds.)

however he DOES have friends. so.

is like his definitive “escaping isolation” theme. also it’s a bop. i love nico collins. (this is why people ship ryu and ian, isn’t it. they share custody of this song)

for ian:

ahhhhh this one is harddddd ian is hard to assign songs to. bc there’s the songs that match his vibe and then the songs that match his story…

though i’d have to say

works for him i think. ian has the “young gay teenager” music vibes i fear (i like the songs too, can’t judge). he’s also pretty codependent and weather-reliant (being a plant) so the lyrics fit lollll. on the same note,

If you're struggling with breathing life into your OC's, try this funny yet stupidly simple trick/writeblr tag game I just came up with. I call it the 'Roast Your OCS and Make It Into a Title' tag game. 🤣

So, we've all heard of fictional character archetypes and stereotypes that are often present in fiction, right? We all know it's not good to have shallow, surface level characters that have no complexity or nuance to their personalities, because real life humans contain multitudes, contradictions, and are in general very complicated beings.

Throw all that shit out for this exercise and toss it into the trash! 🗑️ In this tag game, we're gonna be reducing all our OC's to the most basic, mundane, stereotypical/archetypal renditions of themselves and making it Fit Into a Title!

I love making ocs. I just really like the idea of having alot of characters that I can use whenever I want.need an oc for an edgy drawing? Done! Need a soft oc for a cute drawing? Done! My biggest inspo has to be Sanrio. They have so many ocs with very different personalities and goofy names,I can't help but love the idea of it.

Ze name is Brillar,which is Spanish for "sparkle" as,zie is the god of light. thought it would be fitting.

she's best friends with my opossum guy, Liam, theyre in the same class together at that magic school (you know the one (no you dont i havent written it)). her specialty is illusion magic

the clasp lets her turn invisible with her hood up, and the wand is just a generic casting focus. theyre both family heirlooms but she doesnt remember whos family theyre from

(yes i know the name is weird its pronounced row-sh just go with it i had it in my head all day and just decided it was gonna be spelled that way)

Okay I think this is their final design they will get a kirby form soon, they also have a cool jacket but I couldn't draw it on their pose (I also have doodles of their legs and a idea of the jacket, the jackets probably gonna be blue, pink, or yellow) they don't have a name yet but I think it'll be something like flow, they live deep underwater, you can ask them questions under the temporary (possibly permanent) name of flow :D (please ask them questions I am begging you to enable my ramblings over random full lore reasons on how they walk with those thin feet or what their favorite flavor of cheese is, please I am BEGGING you🥺 /silly)

HI i got silly yesterday and went "hm au where blue and error have a child thats basically just a physical manifestation of their attraction and care towards each other"

anyway meet 4.0.4, aka flor azul (nicknamed affectionately by blue)

im still planning him out but he's basically soulless, just the physical manifestation of error and blue's love for each other. he defaults to happy go lucky like blue, but can be cold and a complete jerk at times. but when his emotions get the better of him, his aggression is on par with error's.

spoiler alert, in the au error and blue don't stay together, and he spends his last few months trying to fix their relationship. he ends up glitching out and disappearing during a battle between the star sanses and the bad sanses, when the final thread of care between error and blue is broken.

ill post more abt him with more doodles later tehe
